Looking for coins that meet this formula. So far, Healthywormcoin (going down to 17% soon) and Condensate are the best I've found.

Just don't sell 1000 low sat ones for 3 cents total when you get bored looking at nothing happening. I think the key is to not waste much time looking at them. I don't like putting my money in higher priced no name/no real team coins because the chances are they won't stay high for long. I think high in these coins is anything over 1000 Sat.

It's fun to find the low sat ones with good teams that are just getting drowned out by others' hype and promotion. You can find some people that really want to see a project work and profit from being early adopters. But I agree, put your money in the top 30 coins that are really worth it, and maybe 10 - 20 % in the riskier ones, heavily diversified.

Which country coins do you think are the best to invest in?
I've been having some luck with Francs (France) and Dinastycoin (Italy).

How's the staking recently on this?

If you take into account most of these ICO's are vapourware, then Ripple and a lot of the older coins are devalued.

Pretty cool new app they came out with called WildSpark: https://vimeo.com/223420002WildSpark by Synereo allows you to share the content you like in a way that rewards both you and its creator using AMPs, Synereo’s digital currency. Sing up to the WildSpark beta at https:/http://www.wildspark.me

The worst coin on Polo,it 's better to say crap not coin!
Without evidence this is just a very childish comment. This thread has a moderator. I wonder what he is doing? Just click ignore on all these trolls. They've been trying to lose people money since day 1.

I still have buy orders I set weeks ago that haven't been met.

Oh dont get me wrong, i definitely agree in being a long term investor and some of the coins im selling right now i plan on having in my bag for a long time. But by selling and rebuying at a lower point basically what you are doing is cheapening the average price of your token. Here is a very simple formula below (not realistic but proves the point) Sell 10 tokens at $100 = total received $100 ($10 avg price per coin) re-buy 20 tokens at $5 = total spent $100 ($5 avg price per coin) So basically by selling and re-buying at a lower price the avg price of my 10 tokens has gone from $10 to $5 which in turn means boosted profits when the market does turn bullish again. Hope that makes sense!! Do it once like this. Just don't forget to buy them back at some point -- when they don't go down again and are $1000 each.

Interesting market. What would you buy right now of these three: BTC, ETH, or LTC?

I did put the bootstrap in like the Annoucement thread stated but now the wallet doesn't get displayed. Is there something you're leaving out, like deleting the previous blockchain file?
In the .zip file is Using_bootstrap_dat.md which contains: ### Table of Contents 1. [What is bootstrap.dat?](#What)<br /> 2. [What are the pros and cons of using bootstrap.dat?](#ProsCons) 3. [Where do I get bootstrap.dat?](#Obtaining) 4. [How do I know I can trust the bootstrap.dat I downloaded?](#Trust) 5. [How do I use bootstrap.dat with btcd?](#Importing)
<a name="What" /> ### 1. What is bootstrap.dat?
It is a flat, binary file containing bitcoin blockchain data starting from the genesis block and continuing through a relatively recent block height depending on the last time it was updated.
See [this](https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=145386.0) thread on bitcointalk for more details.
**NOTE:** Using bootstrap.dat is entirely optional. Btcd will download the block chain from other peers through the Bitcoin protocol with no extra configuration needed.
<a name="ProsCons" /> ### 2. What are the pros and cons of using bootstrap.dat?
Pros: - Typically accelerates the initial process of bringing up a new node as it downloads from public P2P nodes and generally is able to achieve faster download speeds - It is particularly beneficial when bringing up multiple nodes as you only need to download the data once
Cons: - Requires you to setup and configure a torrent client if you don't already have one available - Requires roughly twice as much disk space since you'll need the flat file as well as the imported database
<a name="Obtaining" /> ### 3. Where do I get bootstrap.dat?
The bootstrap.dat file is made available via a the Piggy-Coin.com website. See [this](vhttps://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=633803.msg15620760#msg15620760) thread on bitcointalk for the download details.
<a name="Trust" /> ### 4. How do I know I can trust the bootstrap.dat I downloaded?
You don't need to trust the file as the `addblock` utility verifies every block using the same rules that are used when downloading the block chain normally through the Bitcoin protocol. Additionally, the chain rules contain hard-coded checkpoints for the known-good block chain at periodic intervals. This ensures that not only is it a valid chain, but it is the same chain that everyone else is using.
<a name="Importing" /> ### 5. How do I use bootstrap.dat with btcd?
Extract bootstrap.dat Linux xz -d bootstrap.dat.zip Mac You can obtain xz from MacPorts or http://macpkg.sourceforge.net/. Windows 7Zip is a free utility that can decompress .zip files. The latest version of WinRAR also supports .zip files. Copy bootstrap.dat to data directory Copy bootstrap.dat to your data directory. After Piggycoin has used bootstrap.dat, the file will be renamed to bootstrap.dat.old; at this point you can choose to delete it or keep it. Linux Piggycoin's data directory is located in ~/.newpiggycoin/ by default. You can run ls -a to see directories that start with a dot. You can also search for the directory with the following command: find / -name wallet.dat -print 2>/dev/null Mac Piggycoin's data directory should be located in ~/Library/Application Support/newpiggycoin/. Windows Go to Start>Run (or press WinKey+R) and run: explorer %APPDATA%\newpiggycoin Piggycoin's data directory will open. "AppData" and "Application Data" are hidden by default in Windows. Data directory location Operating system Default data directory location Typical path to configuration file Linux $HOME/.newpiggycoin/ /home/<username>/.newpiggycoin/newpiggycoin.conf Mac $HOME/Library/Application Support/newpiggycoin/ /Users/<username>/Library/Application Support/newpiggycoin/newpiggycoin.conf Windows %APPDATA%\newpiggycoin\ XP -- C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Application Data\newpiggycoin\newpiggycoin.conf Vista, 7 -- C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\newpiggycoin\newpiggycoin.conf
![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) neurocis. Thanks. I did find that, and the wallet wasn't gaining visual capacity on the screen. It just stayed in the background, or had a silhouette of it with no detail. Is that the normal state? I went back to just letting it sync as is out of the box by deleting bootstrap.

Hi, early adopter of PascalCoin and I now am experiencing something in the blockchain world I'm wondering if PascalCoin can help.
I am trying POS wallets and seeing which ones are good. I am trying the Piggy Wallet and its at 800 megs and still trying to sync. I tried to install the bootstrap and that was worse. The other better wallets were synching much earlier without much memory or CPU used, even older POS coins like Noblecoin.
How can the breakthroughs in PascalCoin help a coin like Piggycoin? Be as technical as you want.
I a complete n00b to technology and crypto, but I glanced over the whitepaper v2. It mentions a lot of implementation details and the roadmap. The whitepaper is pretty much all technical. A good technician who can communicate, which there are not that many, can describe these concepts using higher level language, or without too much technical jargon. Technical writing terms have their place, but both methods are necessary.

Looking at some polo coins and they're already on the way up. May be too late to buy the dip.

I wish I would have bought bags of the top ten dead coins back in April.

We'll know in the next 48 hours... where the red and green lines meet is where the decision is made whether the bubble bursts or we surge up to $150B market cap. On the plus side, if we do happen to go up, we will SURGE to the top of that top red line.. around $135B very quickly. We have an inverse head shoulders which is bullish but are not making higher highs, but we have hit a quadruple top now, so literally flip a coin. Technical analysis is great in hindsight but it's far from perfect in predicting the future. ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=http%3A%2F%2Fi66.tinypic.com%2F2n7pnvq.png&t=663&c=JkEmncPuVjLE9A) What are not making higher highs? If you look at most of the Polo coins, they have. A lot of the new money from the ICO's seems to be combined with the Polo coins which are supported by traders there because they see them as higher quality. I think maybe many ICO's are tanking and this is the money that's pulling out of the market. Could be the "organic results" of the market keeps growing, while the chaff is being sorted out periodically in these corrections.

Bittrex has a large number of coins that are not being maintained by their staff. Why are these same coin wallets working on other exchanges? This is really nuts.
