Today's payouts will be an hour or two late because I want to clear high unexchanged balance and include it in payouts and I'm not going to make it before 01:30am UTC.

You don't hear much from me these days as I'm super busy with profitability tweaks, new coins, manual trading, etc. But I'm still here almost 24/7 and am working on our profits. And you guys do amazing job answering other users' questions so that I don't need to. Thank you!

775-825 stabilized by the end of the year.

The troll is cashing out his winnings on this one.  Grin
305  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is a weapon on: April 18, 2014, 03:45:28 PM
Silly Libertarians / Anarchists.

Bitcoin is not your "weapon" to go and destabilize countries and economies.  Bitcoin is not your "French Revolution" nor will it ever be.

The US economy is not crashing (any time soon).  Banks aren't going anywhere.  The government isn't going anywhere.  Law enforcement isn't going anywhere.

Grow up.  Learn to play within the bounds of society.  Be productive, add value, and assist your fellow man.  Optimize and revolutionize things.

Yes, the government needs to be clipped and sheared down to size.  As a catalyst to accomplish that sheering, Bitcoin is an optimal weapon against bad monetary policy, not against the institution of government itself.  Bitcoin is a ultimately a weapon against bad policy in general, but not at all a weapon against social institutions.

And no, i won't be replying to you and your kinds retorts.  Call me a 'sheeple' all you want, but we have the power.  You don't.
306  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC on: April 18, 2014, 03:41:54 PM
China's exit must be priced into the market.

So far, there is only 1 big exchange left to go over there: BTC-China.

Once BTC-China's exit from the market is figured in and people are over it and by extension China in general - you will see that long-term upswing recovery.  No rockets, just a nice little curve up over time.
307  Economy / Speculation / Re: BREAKING NEWS. (MORE) CHINA BANKS BANS ON APRIL 18TH on: April 18, 2014, 01:25:57 AM
I said China will not let BTC climb past $500 easily.  IMO they will continue to attempt to drive the price to sub $100(I can't see them doing it but they get an A+ for trying), when they achive their desired amount of BTC... strong hands will be rewarded.

Go and look over the short Huobi chart over the past few days, compare it with Bitstamp, and see who kicked off every single surge of buying pressure for every single leg up of the recent price spike. Once you have done that you may want to rearrange that statement. The Chinese Bitcoin pumpers n dumpers will continue to extort and exploit this market as much as they possibly can in order to wring out maximum USD from the market. They will pump it as high as they feasibly can and crash it as low as they feasibly can, fleecing the mass of Bitcoin speculators every step of the way.

It is because China that Bitcoin even hit the heights that it hit to begin with.

It is because of China that Bitcoin spiked up $548.

It will be due to lack of organic demand that Bitcoin grinds down from here, but because if China that it flash crashes down to $200 range.

etc etc.

(and many say that much of the Chinese volume is fake)

That will fix itself in due time as market entities here in the US get their business models tax compliant in regards to handling bitcoin.

At that point, China really won't matter.
308  Economy / Speculation / Re: $520 Breakout on: April 16, 2014, 06:21:03 AM
As i've said earlier, prices will slowly climb back up to that 750-850 mark.

It will be a nice patient upward tilt right back up to where the price was at before Gox blew up...and then it will sit there.

Lets see ..i think you may be wrong but we all need some good news and confidence back into the market ...

Fundamentals are awesome ...& a lot of VC cap going into infrastructure

We will retract a little bit from profit taking but it has been a good day Cheesy

I can certainly forsee more FUD coming out of China, and if that is the case, we'll be right back in that nasty yo-yo in the 300-400 range.

Either way, this steady incline even with the threat of China indicates the seriousness and willingness of investors get Bitcoin back on track and heading in the right direction.

Note that if you are on a dual core CPU and running even more than 2 cards, use the -ss 2 flag.

311  Economy / Speculation / Re: Prediction: Breaking $500 within 24 hours on: April 16, 2014, 03:06:55 AM
I say....as the near future arrives day by day the price will creep back up to somewhere between 775-825...and people will wake up that day and be like DANG!

312  Economy / Speculation / Re: TO DA MOON... $415 and moving up fast.. on: April 11, 2014, 09:25:22 PM
If i was a corrupt Chinese official, let me tell you what....

#1a: "Ban"
#1b: Ban some more
#2a: Generate FUD + confusion using cryptic messengers
#2b: Scare the crap out of exchanges using PBOC
#2c: Wait for the impact
#3a:  Buy x 1000000
#3b:  Buy even more
#3c:  Keep on buying
#4: "Un-ban"
#5: Hold
#6: GoTo #1a
313  Economy / Speculation / Re: Survey time! Was 340 the final bottom? on: April 11, 2014, 06:37:02 PM
I would dare say that the core fear driving all Chinese speculators or exchange owners was whether the PBOC was going to outlaw the exchanges themselves.

If the exchanges are not banned, then Bitcoin actually does have a chance in China.

314  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is China a long term problem for Bitcoin? on: April 10, 2014, 07:48:14 PM
We do not need China at all for BTC growth.
Big VC $$$ is pouring into Bitcoin companies, and at this point China activity is no longer vital.
The market could recover quickly.

Correct.

No heavy hitter in his/her right mind is going to buy/invest to get dumped on.  This is why there is no serious buy support.

China ain't Wall Street - no bailout for them.
315  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is China a long term problem for Bitcoin? on: April 10, 2014, 07:45:22 PM
Why do people think China has all the world's $$$?

Bitcoin doesn't need China and its speculators.

Carry on.
316  Economy / Speculation / Re: Since we started at zero, do you think its possible to go back to zero? on: April 10, 2014, 06:45:53 PM
The Bitcoin ecosystem is far mature even now than it was 6 months ago, and lightyears ahead of where it was a year or years ago.

Bitcoin will never go back to 0, ever.
317  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is everybody turned bear yet? on: April 10, 2014, 03:06:59 PM
Well said, atc1.

The fundamentalist libertarian / anarchist ideological influences that have thus so far impeded Bitcoin's mainstream integration into the marketplace will be expunged as time goes by.....by people like you, me, and others - one post at a time.
318  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is everybody turned bear yet? on: April 10, 2014, 02:12:32 PM
All the people that have been screaming to the moon are embarrassed for being constantly wrong.  I want them to come back as we need people spreading bs rumors about bitcoin going to the moon.

Has been a while since I last saw a bullish prediction for the next months. Guess everybody is a bear now, ha?

Where are the people screaming that 450 is cheap and "to da moon"? Where are those 10,000 predictions and charts?

Fact is, I saw this masterpiece investigative series in my country (superbly filmed and documented) presenting Bitcoin. Major audience, Sunday 8pm.

Made me wonder. I think many, many people know about bitcoin. They just don't use it. And never will as 99.9% of the world is not interested in tech, money, economics, revolution, anti-bank, libertarian movement (and bitcoins sums all up). So we might be finished already with the bitcoin adoption.

99.9 percent pf people are not interested in tech and money?  I'm sorry but that is the stupidest thing I have ever heard in my life.  Maybe if you said 99.9 percent of people aren't interested in crypto currency or something, but saying 99.9 percent of people aren't interested in money and tech?  Wtf, did the world move into the woods to become one with nature overnight?

You're right, what I said is not what I meant. 99.9% are not interested how tech works (thus don't want to know why bitcoin is secure, etc) and are not interested how money works (banks, fractionary reserve etc)
.... yet given the choice, people will never pay a fee they know they can avoid.

It's not that the masses don't care, they are simply unaware of how the protocol so revolutionary to the concept of transmitting units of value within the marketplace.
319  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Is GPU hobby-mining dead? on: April 10, 2014, 01:20:14 PM
Yes, please put more sub $200 7950s on the market.

https://twitter.com/barrysilbert/status/447836584554266624  ...and that was March 23rd.

The light of dawn will always find Bitcoin (or its spiritual successor) riding toward the eternal sunset of glory.

Kiss all you bears, it's a shame you have no courage or faith to believe in a just cause.

Representing does not mean investing. But well, we'll see where it ends. Don't say that I didn't warn you.

Those were requests from the investors.  Not solicitations to them.

Either way, we most certainly will see!
