I see many Websites that provide ratings for ongoing ICOs or for the future. Examples such as the ICObench.com Website, ICOrating.com and others.
Which is my question whether you believe in the rating provided by the website. Seeing many ICO's do not match what they value. Many ICOs are arguably good ratings but when the token sales of the project only reach softcap. And there are projects that I see have a fairly mediocre rating but their token sales reach hardcap. I took the example of Lalaworld on ICObench.com they get Rating 3.7 but their token is sold out.
So let's discuss ICO Rating!
I prefer to use my own head when I'm choosing a place to give my money. But all those ICO monitors are good source of basic information about new projects. Because they don't list many of the garbage in ANN section like pointless airdrops, xBTC clones, etc. |

Such a coffee shop could be a could gimick , but nothing more.
At the moment there are not enough people who uses bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, so the coffee shop is not going to have enough customers and probably going to be closed really soon.
Anyway, it would be impossible to buy coffee with bitcoin at the current network state, as broadcasting the transaction would cost about 5-6 $, while the coffee costs about 3-4$, you would end up paying 10 bucks for a coffee.
If you look more careful in the picture, you will see that they are accepting coins with transaction cost of just few cents! I find it for very cool place! |

Not just some, but many coins and tokens are overvalued. Like TRON, ADA and so on.
But this will not bring ETH to $1, because Ethereum is the coin with biggest real life usage of all crypto's.

I think the real downfall haven't started yet and when the price reaches below $1000, the real downfall will start. All the people will be panicked and will be in disarray state losing their minds for the stupidity they believed in. It will happen once USA announces its stance on crypto. I assume it might happen in G20 summit.
India's ban is a serious hit. Russian will not ban crypto's. They introduced a new law last week for taxation. USA could ban it on some level. But Japan will not ban it at all. They are one of the most, if not the most, friendly country to crypto's. |

im in HODL mode right now, my haves have shaked more than once this month, but i hope HODL will give me the best outcome, i had over 2k a few weeks ago right not its at 800 or so, if i get some extra fiat this days i may buy some more onions.
I advice you to sell it before the last so called Onion airdrop. Because after the 40th, people will have zero reasons to keep it and the price will crash. |

how the price and market cap is decided when the coin fist hit exchange, i see some coins raising 20 mil ICO but if you check their coin price and no of coins distributed in ico and multiply them their market cap comes up almost 100 mil, how does that work can someone explain please
Few of factors: - what was the interest during the ICO? If it was big and project hits hard cap before dead line, you could expect a lot of people trying to buy it on exchanges. - is there a working prototype and does the team following their roadmap? There are many more, but they are project depending. |

Recently Bloomberg posted the information that it took hackers less than 10 years to steal over 14% of all existing Bitcoins and Ethereum from the wallets of their holders. The total sum they have stolen is more than $1,2 billion! How to protect yourself from hackers attacks? Are you afraid of this stuff?
1.2B is less than 0.25% of total market cap on all coins. Believe me, banks have much more than 0.2% thefts on their CC. I think is more possible somebody to steal my CC than my wallet. If you are not visiting weird porn sites, you have nothing to worry about  |

I guess Ethereum will overtake Bitcoin by marker capitalization very very soon and I find it for normal.
Bitcoin may be is the first coin, but ETH have much bigger usage.

This is a regular question I see and 99.9% of the answer I see is HODL.
I agree generally but there are exceptions. Here are a few and I hope others add what I missed.
1. Coin is really bad you have to abandon it ASAP (see #2 also)
2. There are better coins and you plan to re-invest (sell then buy another).
3. If you foresee further dip (alt vs BTC or USD)
4. If you flip and day trade (risky)

It's pointless to sell during a dip, unless you are forced to. If you want to sell, wait few days for negative wave to gone. I have the habit to swap alts during dips. |
