If you remove Alcaraz and Đoković, there's not a player you can guarantee will reach an end phase of top tournaments consistently.
Medvedev will do his thing on hard, but other than that - it's basically a coin toss. Rune, Ruud, Tsitsipas, Zverev.. - simply not good enough.

From that next gen that was so hyped I really liked Sinner, and I'm glad to see him climbing up the rankings. I hope some of these players improve soon, otherwise Đoković will be winning tournaments aged 47 and Alcaraz will have 14 grand slams before he's able to drive a car in the USA.

I don't think there would be any player like Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo for a long time, if you look at Cristiano Ronaldo come up, he has always been a good player but he got to god status when he moved to Real Madrid and they club built the team around him and same thing with Leonel Messi, Barcelona built the team around him and this increased their confidence and also their global image.

In present day football is hard to see a team built around one player. Now many other players in teams also want that same recognition and also coaches wants to be seen as the reason for the club's success so except we have a very good player in a team with amazing players and a good coach that has agreed to build the team around a player .

It's easy for them against Malta and they're already leading 2-0 at half-time. Even if good players are missing, Italy is strong enough. But what I think is bad is that more and more players are suspected of betting scandals and we don't know whether more players will be added. But if more players are thrown out, Italy could get into trouble.

Manchester United remain in a really tough position and will find it difficult but not impossible to qualify from the group they are in. They can win all their next four games if the players play with urgency and a sense of necessity. Manchester United were able to score against Bayern Munich and the result was not so poor, the way we expected, and against Galatasaray, poor defending was what made them loose, they still did not have a challenge scoring. So if Manchester United can fix their errors, they can win their remaining games.

Today's first match of Group G will see 2 out of form teams battle it out. In the last 2 places in the group, there may be too many goals in the battle of teams with no goals. The first semi final is Hurkacz v Korda and is going to be close, very close.

thought that was going to be closer.

I think thats about right, Rublev should win but if Dimitrov can replicate his quarter final

Netherlands 0-1 France at HT.

Netherlands could really do with getting at least a point in this game if they want to qualify without worrying. They’re not currently in a good position in the group. Greece beating Ireland which would leave Netherlands 3rd in the group, 3 points behind the Greeks. Big 2nd half from Netherlands required.

Scotland had a huge difficulty in resisting Spain last night. They still managed to keep the score at 0-0 for a really long time which was good for them. But after Spain's breaking the deadlock Scotland had nothing else to do other than taking more risks. It didn't take Spain much time to score the 2nd goal also.

I still admire the work Scotland have done so far of course. They defeated Spain once also. McTominay is shining more at his national team rather than Manchester United truthfully.

McTominay is currently one of top scorers which has been a big help for Scotland in this stage.

Albania continued their lead in Group E and defeated the Czech Republic at home. Of course, the Czech Republic's player was red carded before the end of the first half, leaving the team with 10 men.  With this win, Albania increased their points to 13 and guaranteed their exit from the group.
Poland, on the other hand, defeated Faroe Islands 2-0 away from home and increased their points to 9. The Czech Republic have one game less, but it will be a close match against Moldova. It is hard to predict who will emerge victorious.

Croatia 0 - 1 Turkiye and Spain 2 - 0 Scotland are the most important and challenging games for today. Turkiye was able to score in the first half and kept this advantage until the end with a disallowed penalty for Scotland, so things went pretty well for the Turkish team.
Spain also did well while Scotland weren't effective at all. Spain will claim the first spot soon in my opinion.

There's alot of blunders in Manchester united squad, from the goal keeper, André Onana to the frontline, this case can not be sorted out currently, it will definitely take time. Erik Ten Hag practice favoritism in his squad, choosing the players he likes and dumps the ones that do meet up but because they fall out of favour under him, he dropped them, this case has happen to Cristiano Ronaldo and now is Jadon Sancho. Erik Ten Hag is the man killing Manchester United slowly with his bad character towards his players. Casemiro is aged and have achieved major titles during his time in Real Madrid, playing for United is more like having extra time to enjoy football with the English side, not longer competent enough.

That Shelton v Korda match was very close, it went to 3 sets with two tie breaks and
was very difficult in the third set to predict who was going to win. I'm happy for Korda TBH.

He now faces Hurkacz in the semi final which is a hard one to predict. I think both players

Turkey won the first half 1-0 against Croatia. Turkey managed to take the lead with the goal scored by Baris Alper and I think Turkey played a good game in the first half. The team is playing well except for a few players especially Ismail, Salih and Ferdi had a good first half. Livakovic saved the first 3 shots on goal but I can say that he made a big mistake in the goal. I can say that he took the mistake of leaving the goal early by conceding a goal.

Scotland has already gained a significant advantage by winning all 5 matches with a big surprise. If Spain wins this match, Norway will have almost no chance. I think Spain will beat Scotland in this match and make sure that both teams will qualify from the group today.

I think Spain are overrated too. Scotland are in first place right now and are there for a reason. They haven't lost one game in five and they managed to beat Spain in a home game. So they might not lose again today. I don't understand why everyone thinks that Spain must win.
