301  Other / Off-topic / Re: Have you won a bet with your last cash? on: February 20, 2024, 02:17:04 PM
Haven't we all? There are times where you would have risked almost all the money you have and the last drop will bring you the luck you so desired, and there are times where you have only start gambling and you will get lucky, the question is are you able to walk away after you won? This is something many people can't do.

I remember playing slot on rollbit and on the third round I won some money, I took the amount and withdraw my money, I don't even think about me having some money unspent, out of $20 I've only risked $8, if I wanted to continue I still have $12 left but I said no and it is the best thing about me, I don't go back on my words.

When I win either at the very beginning of the game or at the last drop of money I had for that day I am taking my leave, it's the same when I lose the whole amount, I ended up getting used to this strategy, it's like those casinos are watching me everything, hoping I lost my mind in the games, practice makes perfect.
302  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Buying and Selling of Casino Accounts (Discussion thread) on: February 20, 2024, 12:59:24 PM
It's buyers at their own risk  Grin

Because anything can happen to a account that you purchased from someone, I called it a stupid thing to do.

It's always against their policies, few terms of services that I have read doesn't accept, even jumping from one location to another, from VPN users can end up in getting your account banned.

I know that old casino account have higher rate of offers and other opportunities but it's not worth it if the account doesn't originally your own, rank or level the account up yourself if that's your goal, don't buy from anyone or else you will see how frustrated you will be when they find out.
303  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling sites including unsolicited games in betslips to ensure it fails on: February 20, 2024, 11:55:59 AM
This incident do happens in located casinos, I have heard few complains like what OP is talking about, but when this keeps happening over and over, can we keep saying it's same mistakes? Or was it all intentional? I may never know because I gamble by self online, I do the booking.

If you want to avoid this you should consider a online casino instead, I do believe that this can only happen offline, tell your friend to avoid the location and find a better casino, the attendant is either not knowing what he is doing, and should be replaced or he is intentionally ruining people's games.

Apart from this, I don't find offline casinos to be a safe experience, in my own country at least, since we are not in Las Vegas, I choose peace over headaches like this one, that's why online casinos have less issues than casinos that are located somewhere.
304  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Preventive measures not to lose your btc on: February 19, 2024, 03:15:57 PM
Just hodl
Avoid ads
Avoid fake wallets
Avoid fake exchanges
Avoid airdrops, or at least learn how to know the fake ones. I avoided airdrops.
Avoid phishing or attacks, through email, message or call.
Anywhere you see pay 2 to get 4, it is a scam
Use cold storage for huge amount
I prefer to use passphrase, against offline attacks
Avoid clipboard malware and malware generally
Avoid sending to attacker's address in address poisoning

These last ones are shocking:
Avoid trading. Use the amount of money that you can afford to lose for trading.
Also the same to gambling.
You've said it all, every possible things I have in mind to share, but I think it's unavoidable because every newbies have no experience as a beginner until they are thought the hard ways, by making mistakes, unless the newbies decide to say yes no research before anything else or they say no to crypto.

Some people are still scared about crypto, not because of the rumours about been Ponzi but because of the many ways that they can lose their BTC and other digital currencies, they see the whole thing as too strong stressful and not worth it, honestly the biggest issue in crypto space is still safety of crypto wallet by the users.

But as time goes on maybe the perfection will be done about crypto wallets, even the former CEO of Binance said this same thing, the possible loss of assets is a big concern.
305  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How often do you win? on: February 19, 2024, 02:02:09 PM
Not often at times, some times I start to question myself, that why am I so unlucky, because I keep losing too many times and sometimes I just have to take a break and come back into gambling a week or two weeks later.

I only question myself when loses are getting too much, but I don't feel left out because I am not risking too much money, when you lose too many times can you handle it? If you can't then you are expecting too much from gambling, or you are risking too much money.

This is my advice for every gamblers on here, don't be too focus on how much you will win, emotions will just add up to your thinking, it's better to be more focused on your safety, think about how much you will lose than spending time on how much you could win, which will prompt your emotion and you will start making bad decisions.
306  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When I'm emotional, I LOSS! on: February 19, 2024, 01:10:02 PM
Truth be told, no human is capable of controlling how they feel completely, they can only choose to make the right decision, is what I am doing the right thing to do? A smart person will surely end up with such question.

When someone rape a sister in your family, the feeling of killing the rapist will come to mind but its jungle justice if you give in to your feelings, automatically you yourself have become a killer, you will also have to face the law, but the right thing to do is to get them arrested and locked up.

You can get emotional when gambling, but don't do anything stupid, you don't know which decision will bring you the result you want, that's why you are emotional, what is the solution? Lower the money you are about to risk, your emotional could be on the risk you are about to take, it's like a caution sign.
307  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Escape Debt with Gambling: A Dangerous Cycle on: February 19, 2024, 11:54:45 AM
I know someone who escaped his debt using gambling but it was more complicated than you think, the was never a gambler but his mother was admitted into a local hospital and an operation was needed to carry out, he reached out to me then and I contributed what I could afford but he never disclosed it to anyone including me until he took the risk and luckily he won.

He was able to pay for the operation and he was able to pay back some debts too, this was like a break through for him, because since that time every start going well for him, when I heard about what he did later I was furious and I felt like beating him up, what came to my mind was if he lost the money, what could have happened?

He said he had no choice, I asked myself if I would have done the same, but I knew I could not because losing everything to gambling is the most feared in my own way, I don't want to end up like those who lost everything they once had to gambling, I am very careful around gambling.
308  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are the rules for finding wallets on: February 18, 2024, 05:54:48 PM
99% of any finder who found a lost bitcoin wallet won't care about the owner, they will rather spend it instead of finding the owner and return it, and since the real owner lost the private key, the founder isn't to be blame because they found it, this is different from stealing the keys or using force acts to take over the wallet.

I believe that the chances of coming across a btc wallet key is very slim, and if it does happens it's better to report to the next police station or find other ways to get the wallet back to the rightful owner.

I would advice anyone to keep their private keys safer and avoid losing it to another person, because it's very slim for any one to give your BTC wallet back just like that, no one stole it from you, they are free to do whatever they like with the wallet, so make sure you don't lose it.
309  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The person who can’t control emotions in gambling will never earn money from it on: February 18, 2024, 02:30:32 PM
You can be emotionally while gambling and still make money out of gambling, the result we get isn't based on our emotions since this isn't a skills base field, you need to be able to handle your losses, I think more about losing my money than winning, how far I can go in the long run is very crucial.

Sometimes, even emotions can make you win, you can get emotional while making some gambling decisions and still win some money, like those placing bets on football matches, their emotions can get in the way for the better, they can decide to remove a match from the list and luckily they will win, even vice verse too.

Emotion works like fear too, if you use them right it won't hurt you, there are times for every feeling, been emotional, having fear, these can be use right if care is taken, fear can keep you alive and it can also get you killed.
310  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Focus on how much you may lose and not only the potential win. on: February 18, 2024, 01:49:21 PM
Honestly, if all gamblers focus on how much they may lose they will all be a responsible gambler, many cares only about how much they may win, which is the main thing backing their desires up, they want all the wins by force, they are willing to risk it all in gambling as if they are not going to win a lot as well.

If gambling is that easy every gambler will be rich right now, some even knew how hard it is to win in gambling, yet they will still choose to risk a lot on gambling, this is why I don't feel pity for any gamblers that get rekt.

They know about the risks, they saw it coming, and they are paying for the price, it's normal, but I wonder why they feel sad later, or why they get angry, you understand what gambling means, why risk what you can't afford.
311  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling addiction causes loss on: February 18, 2024, 11:00:28 AM
Addicted gamblers don't always like advice, until they satisfied themselves and later come out with nothing, that's when they will decide to respect your advice, and take action, but while they are still on that verge of making money in gambling only, every other advises are stupid to their ear.

Don't waste your time with them, let learn their lessons, and they will make their choices either to keep gambling in a responsible manner or quit gambling for good, when someone close to me is a gambler I always feel pity because I know how hard it is to be a step ahead of gambling addiction, it's possible to be a addict without you realizing that you are.

Even if you have a very good job you don't want to be addicted to gambling, it could ruin your life, because you will always want to take huge risks, that dream land that you always want to build in future you will start believing that gambling can bring it faster than your job.
312  Economy / Economics / Re: Step up your game before the game steps you down. on: February 16, 2024, 05:39:18 PM
Do you really think that telling people to step up their game is what that don't already know? It's like a slap to their faces, as if they are kids, they are not, everyone is feeling the heat of the hardship that's present in my country, they don't have to be told anything.

Many people are family men, they must look after their families in this harsh economy, why should I advice such people when they already trying their bests? Remember, harsh and hard times creates greater men, it's affecting everyone generally.

The best advice I can give those who are struggling is to give in for investment, till today many people still look at investments as a way of throwing away money and yet they can gamble big amount of money away, your investment can bring you are more peaceful future, don't underestimate investment.
313  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Reminder of possible fake app download on application stores on: February 15, 2024, 05:37:00 PM
It's very simple to avoid this scam apps, don't use play store and Apple store to download any app, I can't even remember the last time I use play store to search for any app, I always download apps through official website, and they will lead me to the correct app, there is nothing you can do to get rid of all the fake apps on Apple store and Google store.

I have lost some BTC in the past using available bitcoin wallet on Google playstore, it's easier to search for any app using the available search engine, and you will get loads of results, the problem is that Google store don't verify those apps, they believe it's really not their job.

They should have just create a notice that users should download apps at their own risks instead, but some people won't know because they believe that Google is a big giant in this space, same as apple, now it's clear that they don't care, watch your back yourselves, don't use their platforms to find your next apps.
314  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Repeating mistakes on casino games in gambling site on: February 15, 2024, 04:10:44 PM
Most mistakes in gambling happens because gamblers gambles so many times in a week, they get attached to gambling like it's daily job, what OP said about making mistakes when you stay away from gambling is wrong, you make less mistakes when you are not too attached to gambling.

The casinos even want gamblers to get so attached to gambling, this is one sure way they gamblers will keep coming back, and they will make more money this way.

If you are a smart gambler you must not get used to gambling, have fun gambling but don't expect money flow from gambling, you are just sitting on a time bomb, when the time is up you will likely lose everything or get addicted.
315  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Proverbs and Sayings that Act as Triggers to Gambling on: February 15, 2024, 03:04:27 PM
All I know is that some gambling related proverbs can get you killed if you foolishly believe in them, the majority of these proverbs are simply backing gambling up, keep trying and don't give up, but truthfully, sense needs to be applied, if you don't apply some sense you will end up becoming a big fool.

Many gamblers thinks that gambling existed because of the poor, but this game of luck doesn't care about who is losing money, either rich or poor it will always favour the casino more than gamblers, before a gambler turn into a millionaire in gambling, a million of people have already lost a lot of money and are still actively losing a lot more.

Many have turned away from jobs because they believe that gambling can sustain them, but only to find out the hardest way, gambling is so unreliable when it comes to finances, it's the wrong tool for fixing your broke problem.
316  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Most challenges faced by gamblers on online casino platforms? on: February 15, 2024, 02:01:24 PM
Hey Gamblers
So I am thinking of this.  What is the most challenges faced by gamblers on online casino platforms? Below are some key issues I've noted:
  • delayed payment
  • withdrawal rejection
  • can't access the casino site
  • delayed response on request to withdrawal winnings
  • deposit not credited to the customer's account
  • ambiguous withdrawal conditions
  • winnings disappeared from the customer's account
  • delayed account verification
  • account closed without explanation
  • account hacked

Let's talk about this and share mutual experiences and how we sorted it out
There is no reputable online casino that one of these problems, I have never witnessed such since I started gambling and it's been over two years now, to me, online casinos are better than offline casinos if that's why prompt you to create this topic, online casinos don't have the problems you listed unless you use a scam online casino.

Use casinos that are well talked about, starting from Stake casino and Rollbit, I have spend good amount of time on these two and I could also remember the time I spent on Roobet too.

Don't use untrusted source to find your casinos, make sure you go through this forum instead, make sure that the casino have a ANN on this forum and see for yourself what people are saying about the casinos just to be sure that things are going well.
317  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do we need more influencial women in crypto to help the gender embrace it? on: February 14, 2024, 05:02:08 PM
Who cares? You can't even know if someone is a male or female since crypto space is anonymous, we don't need to do some debates on this, before Elizabeth Wood became a crypto investor I have known a female friend since 2019 who was already accumulating Bitcoin, she was into Bitcoin even before me, to me gender doesn't matter here.

I also have a family friend in the US, she is way older, someone I would call an aunt because she is in 50 years plus range, all she knows how to do is trade crypto and also invest in crypto, there are many females in crypto space than you know, and we don't even need to know how many they are.

If you are someone who have interest in other alternative crypto projects, you will see many new projects with good numbers of females as a developer and team member.
318  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can Anyone +18 Play Gamble? on: February 14, 2024, 01:58:43 PM
18 years old are adult in some countries, they passed the age to restriction to become a gambler, and whatever happens to them when trying gambling out for the first time depends on the results they get, mind you its easy for them to turn into an addict at this young age and I believe that they are the hardest to control.

Young age is a determine age in our lives, whatever we plan to focus on in the age gap we always Want to do it very well, with all our might and strength, it's not good to start this age as a gambling addict, many stupid decisions will follow and not even your family will be able to keep you away from gambling.

Until you reached your last level and you decide to give up yourself, and by the time you realize this it could be too late already, maybe you would be way more older at the time, wasted your life opportunities away because of gambling.
319  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2 years old kids alone at home for hours, while the father goes gambling on: February 14, 2024, 12:21:20 PM
Apart from gambling discussion, I will like to advice people not to ever entrust their child to any family members, even if they are your blood brothers, you will be shocked, there are many secrets that have been revealed about relatives maltreating their relatives child, many abuses and irresponsible.

If you are still alive, you need to watch over them yourself, don't ever leave them behind to a trusted family member, even those who have no bad habits in them will still maltreat your child because it's not real their own child, may we live longer to watch over our own kids by ourselves.

This man that OP is talking about cares about gambling than a living soul, he has no conscience, I would have thought about the kid, thinking if he or she is mine, and kids are really stupid at that age, we can't blame them because they know nothing, home accidents are very common concerning children, they should not be left alone.
320  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Where Do You Want To Go To If You Win $2 million On Lottery on: February 14, 2024, 11:02:18 AM
Probably stay in my country, though its one of the most corrupted counties in the world but I will maintain a safety measure just to look like someone who is not sitting on a lot of money like $2 million.

I am not trying to bad mouth myself but with the amount that I risk on gambling I can never win a million dollars in gambling, I don't hope for it because it sound too ridiculous and unrealistic, even those that won jackpot in gambling risk way higher money than I ever did.

I don't want to have this possibility in my head, too unrealistic, but if I eventually get rich through my investment and worth this much, I promise to remain who I am, humble and I will remain this same person who don't like seeking for attention.
