301  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is good for environment on: June 02, 2020, 08:34:27 PM
I don't really know about Bitcoin mining and electricity and the level of impact mining can have on our environment. There have been a lot of people claiming that the impact is too much and very bad for our environment. But another study was released to debunk the first, and it claims that the impact of Bitcoin mining on our environment is not as much as the first study claims.

This is not something I really look into and I am not a miner, but if mining is having any negative impact, then it's time we consider something different, maybe a different form of energy so that we don't end up causing a serious harm to our world. People do always come up with some cross perspective to puzzle us all of sudden; this topic must be that kind of one. I must google to clear many things regarding this now.
302  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What was your experience trading cryptocurrency? on: June 02, 2020, 08:00:10 PM
I still remember the early days and it was so hard. I still didn't had the local exchange and it got created probably 3-4 years after I started crypto so it was very difficult for me to buy bitcoin with fiat for years. I however took that as a sign to maybe not buy but use it as currency and work to earn it. After all I do not "buy fiat" , which is a thing if you are a forex trader but most of the time you do not "buy fiat" in regular life.

So, I told myself since there is no easy way, maybe I should focus on thinking like bitcoin was fiat. After however it was created, I started to trade crypto like crazy and it allowed me to make a decent amount of profit for a while, then lose a lot, then earn again basically all around a cycle. Its a fun cycle that has been going on even today, it is really exciting.
303  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Those that hate risks! on: June 02, 2020, 05:46:13 PM
A trader should follow all the requirements of trading career which means there will be no room for personal preferences in this. Hence for those traders who are not willing to take risk must stay away from trading and must look for some other methods to have income stream instead of keep trying with trading.

Just hating risks, it will not get eliminated in our trades. It will get eliminated only when we are good in technical analysis. At the same time, people who are good in technical analysis will never get afraid of it nor hating it but might have developed strategies to trade among all the risky things. I believe this is how trading is working and hence we must focus on things this way alone. If we bother about unnecessary things then we may miss out what is essential for success in trading. Hating risks must be one of those unnecessary things.
304  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you handle losses in trading? on: June 02, 2020, 05:00:43 PM
Taking consecutive losses in trading has led to a lot of blown accounts.

Losses affects us psychologically and doesn't make us think logically.

Just wanna know how you get yourself back in right state of mind after taking a loss or better still, how do you handle losses?

Share your experiences and techniques, this will be helpful.  Smiley
As a trader you should understand that you're here to take risks and you should be ready to face them. If you're not ready to take risks then trading is not meant for you. Trading is for people who are ready to take risks and you should know that it's not all the time that you're going to be making profit. There are times you can lose your money in trading.

Why I am saying this is that anyone who truly understands cryptocurrency trading, when they lose their money they won't really worry much about it and they will just relax and look for a way to recover the things they have lost from trading. I believe every trader will find a method to cope of losses but the initial days are the key. If we lose our confident then gaining it back is more difficult that anything else.
305  Economy / Economics / Re: More Evidence of Coronavirus as Financial Reset on: June 02, 2020, 02:46:20 PM
Mate, I don't know about this that you're saying here Roll Eyes. But I have been doing research on this hydroxychloroquine and from my research it's not a good treatment for Covid-19 and it doesn't work.

Though Trump did claim once that he was taking the drug to prevent him from being infected with the Covid-19 virus, and considering that some people in the white house have been infected with the virus and he's not. And it's not just about Trump, the president of China once visited those that were infected in China, and was wearing just a mask and nothing much to protect himself from being infected.

This made a lot of people say that he had a cure for it. There are lots of confusion in this case. But from my research people who were treated with hydroxychloroquine had a higher death rate, compared to those that were not treated with that drug. And other studies claim that the drug was causing QT prolongation.
306  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Looking for a list of companies that will hire and pay solely in Bitcoin on: June 02, 2020, 06:24:32 AM
I am complete new to this but I think most of these companies that are offering remote jobs will agree to pay you in Bitcoin. My last job I got through LinkedIn was a remote job, a company in Ireland and they were paying their workers in Bitcoin. For the months I worked with them I was paid in Bitcoin only every end of the month. So, you should be looking for those jobs.

You can as well check out all these cryptocurrency companies like Xapo, Exodus and others that are giving remote jobs to engineers (not only engineers, there are other jobs as well) and try your luck. They all pay in Bitcoin. I met few employers through upwork and when I demanded for bitcoin payments, they are ready. I mean people know what is bitcoins and ready to pay with bitcoins if needed. So, finding a job for bitcoins is not a big deal anymore Cool.
307  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BITCOIN AS A DIGITAL GOLD on: June 02, 2020, 05:34:07 AM
We are not sure about these Central bank digital currencies that are being discussed as of recent. And as for Bitcoin being digital gold, we can clearly see that there is no correlation between the two of them. Bitcoin is completely different and unlike fiat and others, it's backed by the trust of the community and utility? But I still look forward to growth in the cryptocurrency community.

Some people have claimed that the CBDC are going to be a competition for the decentralized cryptocurrency we know now. That's because they believe the government will try to stop the use of decentralized cryptocurrencies just to get people to start making use of their own digital currencies.
308  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: OK! Who is THIS Bitcoiner? on: June 02, 2020, 04:17:05 AM
I don't think anyone will come out with this in the protest. This is something totally different, so I don't think this picture was taken during the recent protest. And by the way, I don't really get why people keep saying things like Bitcoin is the savior lol.

Bitcoin is good, no doubt, but some people keep making it seem like an easy pie and a place to get rich overnight. That's why a lot of people I meet these days that ask me about Bitcoin are only talking about whether they are going to get rich immediately and keeps asking really dumb questions. We need to make people understand first the main purpose of Bitcoin, it's not to make money, Bitcoin is more than that.
309  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: June 01, 2020, 09:05:27 PM
These games didn't looked like players gave such a huge break, it basically shows the talent levels of the top teams versus the bottom teams, nobody really outplayed their position after the break or nobody underplayed neither, everyone played like they normally play.

I was expecting some shocking results after the break because it would be basically a summer break type of difference and when teams come back from the break they usually play differently and everyone finds their groove after a while but it looks like that wasn't the case for this time around. The league basically continued from where it left off. I think this is a sentiment for the teams who normally play with talent instead of just momentum, and this showed how talent overshadows momentum each time.
310  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Pros and Cons on: June 01, 2020, 08:12:08 PM
Pro - Investment opportunity. Bitcoin has transformed my life from a freelancer to someone who got the potential to run a business. I mean I bought bitcoins when it was around $300 in 2015 and now I am enjoying 30x growth for my money in 5 years. I could not imagine anywhere else for such a growth rate. I guess when bitcoin will be having another 10x growth, I may retire.

Con - High tx fees as of now. Even it is a temporary problem after segwit, sometimes it enforces me to make use of other coins for quick settlement. Usually I do hate using any altcoins but high tx fees is leading me to do so.
311  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Deflationary Tokens on: June 01, 2020, 07:03:55 PM
I am well aware of coins with controlled inflation like BTC, where a finite number of coins will be generated at a controlled rate. Very recently I came across deflationary tokens where coins are destroyed whenever a transaction is made and they will end at some time.
My question is what is the purpose of creating such coins? Are they worthy enough to be invested ?
I am also coming across such concept of burning tokens for every transaction but I do feel it is kind of scam, devs are trying to trap investors. Please do not fall for these.

A worthy enough coin or token should have its own use case for a problem we are facing in day to day life. Anything other than this must be just a speculative asset which may get dumped at any time. So, better stay away from this coins/tokens. Devs in this case are trying to lure investors by decreasing the circulating number of coins which honestly sound like a immature idea in my opinion.

Moreover, I like to suggest you to go for only highly established coins/tokens rather than looking for any new arrivals. New coins may get you big profits at the same time it will be having more risk compared to what we usually having with bitcoin and other few summers coins/tokens based investments.
312  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Digital Collectibles: Topps launches Garbage Pail Kids NFTs on WAX on: June 01, 2020, 06:01:23 PM
These things always boggle my mind. I heard about collectibles first with the cryptokitties, having a rare kitty could worth a lot but eventually it dropped and dropped and dropped so I gave up, I wans't invested too highly neither, I just never found it all that awesome so its fine, but at the same time the price dropping meant that maybe collectibles on digital world is not really all that possible.

Nowadays stuff like these pops up, there are tons of people who think its quite possible to make digital collectibles a thing, but I am not entirely sure if I should be getting back in just yet, maybe this is just another hype, like the cryptokitties cloging ethereum network type of hype, but eventually it will be not like that cryptokitties, more like today's cryptokitties, so I want to stay away and watch for a while first.
313  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WazirX coin over the moon. on: June 01, 2020, 05:16:20 PM
It's not about the token being scam or team being fraud. But simply that if Indian Govt. totally bans crypto, then it will be a problem for WazirX team which will obviously transfer to the coin also.
I read wazirx was acquired by binance which means they are no more legally bind with India government. So, I believe they transfer or do anything as per their wish regardless of whatever laws/restrictions India government will be bringing up. In my understanding wazirx is now an international exchange under the binance umbrella. So, do not need to worry about any India government or its federal banks's restrictions.

Wazirx is one of the Indian cryptocurrency projects supported by Binance so it is only expected for it to skyrocket.
It was an Indian project but not any more. Binance is not supporting wazirx exchange but they have bought it to own in all means. Binance is the sole owner of wazirx and its operation hence wazirx is no more an India based project but its operation is still focusing on crypto users of India.
314  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's going on with the Kick token and it's 888888 Frozendrop? on: June 01, 2020, 03:06:36 PM
Most airdrops usually end up in nothing and there is no exception for kick tokens as well, it seems.

I tried to move the kick tokens I have received but my MEW always showed some error and never allowed to make a transactions and then I started leaving it off. Last I checked in kucoin, kick were heavily dumped and all the tokens I received not worth to try to sell them for ETH. I am not sure why not ETH devs stop such planned mess ups to be happening into their platform. They must freeze the entire contract address itself.

I guess some tokens tried to misbehave like kick in waves platform, devs took some steps for the welfare for all the waves holders. Even it is not part of decentralization, I liked and appreciated such act. Scammers need full swing punishments so we may need to sacrifice some of our basic norms.
315  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is it true that now only few bounties scams? on: June 01, 2020, 12:09:35 PM
There used to be a lot of bounty scams and I decided not to post them since August 2019. I was very disappointed to see the bounty in 2019. A few days ago I met one of my friends who said that if there are fewer bounty scams now, is that true?
I now decide to join the signature that I use now
It is too early to think about there are less scammers in ICO industry. In my opinion, still participating in bounty campaigns must be similar to gambling. We may not put all our efforts for it but we can do only in the part-time so that we may not get big disappointment when we will be scammed again in the name of ICOs and its bounty hunting.

My humble suggestion to you is, do not listen to your friend's word. But, you must go for doing your own due diligence which alone will be helping you in a practical world. There could be fewer or many good bounty campaigns are available but how we are going to find them is the biggest challenge in front of us. I believe we can overcome such a challenge only through due diligence. So, take your time for it and find the right bounty for you and enjoy the rewards.
316  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you believe that bitcoin will have a stable price in the future? on: June 01, 2020, 06:03:03 AM
There are more than one factor influencing in finalizing the price of bitcoins hence we cannot assume all of them will get saturated to make bitcoin prices stable. The only measurebale thing among them is supply of bitcoin which may get over in next 120 years approximately. Other than the fixed supply of bitcoins, other factors are beyond mathematical calculations hence we cannot speculate when bitcoin may have stable prices.

Stable price may happen by end of next century by considering few factors:
  • World population may stabilize even in underdeveloped and developing countries which will impact on demand of bitcoins.
  • People may start using bitcoins rather than focusing on saving it which will end up in diluting demands.
  • Other factors which we need to assume to get stabilize for making bitcoin prices stable:
    • World wide literate level.
    • Level of reach of internet.
    • Convenience of using e-payments.
    • Government's stand on cryptos and its regulation.
317  Economy / Speculation / Re: What will governments do next to manipulate Bitcoin? on: June 01, 2020, 05:30:04 AM
Smartest decision would be to sneaking up on bitcoin without letting anyone know. However there is a dilemma here, the government has to be transparent on where the tax payers money goes, now they are not always doing that but they have to, that is their duty. So, right now if they want to sneak up and buy a bunch of bitcoin and be manipulative, they have to do that without letting anyone know. Could they do that? Easily, they have done it on other stuff all the time. Hell governments pay 10000x more for a product just because it is their friends company and that is common in probably in all of nations governments.

However will they risk getting caught doing something like this when the topic is crypto? I am not entirely sure, I feel like they do not care about it enough to do something like this.
318  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your Choice To Stay Longer Online Or Casinos on: May 31, 2020, 05:36:29 PM
I remember in the past we were having lots of discussions like this for gathering opinion from this community about their comfortable level while gambling in physical casino and online gambling. But all the times people were justifying whatever they are already doing. I mean there will be one single way of gambling could be perfect one for all of us. At one time, people may be finding one way of gambling to be perfectly suitable for them and in some other time they will be gambling with another way of gambling.

It means obviously both physical and online gamble are having their own advantages and disadvantages and based on what a gambler prefer they may go for it. That means the other way of gambling is not good. I do gamble mostly only online because I do not have access to physical casino that easily.
319  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoins joins the bank on: May 30, 2020, 06:27:40 PM
They can't stop Bitcoin, the best they can do is to say trash about it and try to discourage people. But it doesn't work, as time goes on people will come to learn that what they were being told are lies and not the truth. And when the right time comes, they will all still join the cryptocurrency community. The cryptocurrency community has been growing and the level of the market back then is not the level it is now, it has gotten to a bigger level and I'm still looking forward to more growth and improvement and that will surely come.

I strongly believe that from now to next year the market will be taking a big move and that will make more high profile people and financial institutions will be joining with bitcoins. With upcoming bull run, bitcoin will do lots of miracles as it is probably going to have 6 digits of value which must be more than enough to convince anyone to adopt bitcoins.
320  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The One Biggest Lesson you've learnt from Bitcoins Investment on: May 30, 2020, 05:06:59 PM
I think the main lesson I have learnt from investing in cryptocurrency is to have patience and to always know the level of risk I can take. Most of us that are investing in Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies are fond of rushing things. We don't give ourselves the time to grow, we keep rushing to make that money. This is a normal thing because we all have bills to pay and other things that we have to do with the money.

But despite that, we all must learn to have patience and not expect too much from this. And we should always be investing with a small percentage of our money and have patience and also look for other things to do. Honestly, when we are having other things to do, it will be look like we are having more patience about our investment with bitcoins and it is always good to leave our investment for longer duration in bitcoins to get bigger profits than what people do in short-term.
