301  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Panic selling and postpone from trading, which one is the worse one? on: October 13, 2019, 08:12:15 AM
Panic selling is the worse thing someone could do out of impulsiveness and emotions. They might sell their assets with a price lower than its buying price just so they can avoid much worse situations without doing some critical thinking. They tend to lost sight of the bigger picture and massive impact of their actions. It's much worse because his action won't just affect him but he will contribute to the market's movement in general. So, of all things, when people are trading tbey should also train theirselves not to be easily driven by their emotions, because emotion is of all things the most destructive in any ways, patience, practicality and calmness should always win over emotions.
I still maintain my stand like some of my mates here too that it is not all a panic sell that is bad. There are time when I do risk to trade some of these shitcoins, and having known that it is a 50:50 chance, I have to be very much alert, I could think that the whales will pump the value after it gets listed on exchange and reverse will be the case.

There are situations where I had bought some shitcoins with the hope of it getting being pumped so I can quickly exit, but the moment I hoped for that was when we had some investors pull out and the price started crashing, the only way to do damage control was to panic sell, even if I had to lose some of the money, but i never lost all, and till date, that coin never rose again, if I had not sold then, how would I not have lost everything completely. The only time panic sell is not good is when you are trading reliable coins.
302  Economy / Speculation / Re: How to predict Bit coin price. on: October 12, 2019, 07:24:10 PM
The first thing that the OP my need to grab and stick to his brain is just to learn deeply how to make use of analysis because that is the only way that bitcoin price can be predicted accurately and once one can easily predict the movement of bitcoin, then trading should not really be a very big problem for such person, the only thing that is needed is just to learn some basics of trading and know how to apply trading rule.

No matter the tutorial we watch, if we don’t know how to make use of analysis, then we better just be an holder and not a trader, at least by holding, we just know that our responsibility is to listen to news, watch the market for an increase price and then sell, but for trading, there is no trading without the use of analysis such as technical and fundamentals.
303  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ???? AFRAID OF NEW PROJECTS !!! ? on: September 26, 2019, 04:15:39 AM
Why do you think that everyone is afraid that some of the new projects
some people without doing any research,    They despise a project, which makes other people agree.
is this lack of literacy in the study makes them fail ?
Does this lack of information bring down a project, that MAY have a bright future ?
Actually I have come to realize too that in this forum, we have many people that allow other people’s opinion and decision to mislead them because they listen to them without verifying them first, yes I know that we have very bad projects, but many of us that has condemned some projects is not because we have verified them ourselves and find them not worthy, but just because someone came on the forum to say nasty thing about the project for the reasons best known to him.

We find ourselves joining the person too in saying the nasty thing, meanwhile, the project could actually be a good one, and this is the reason why many of these projects are no longer meeting up with their hard cap. There are still some great projects that are in the market and if we do thorough research we will see them.
304  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: AMA (Ask Me Anything): The current state of Bitcoin in the Philippines 🇵🇭 on: September 16, 2019, 06:34:35 PM
I'm a member too on that facebook group, as I observed on some posts of members especially those newbies they are much eager to earn easy than understanding first how bitcoin works (sad but true, but I understand them, they are still newbies).

Lol yea. That's pretty much 98% of people in Philippine bitcoin/crypto Facebook groups in general. Majority still think that bitcoin is a moneymaking scheme than what it really is. I don't think I really can blame the people though. Poverty rate is still high, and as well as the percentage of people that aren't lling to do the hard work but instead prefer "easy money".
It is not only in Philippine bit virtually everywhere, poverty rate is increasing and this is showing sign of weakness of the government, it is like they really don't care again about the citizens unlike it used to be in the past, and all they just care about right now are infrastructures and how to beautify the country which make so much sense because when you beautify a country and people are dying of poverty, who would use it?

Let me not digress from the main point now, people are basically just taking the system as money making program like you earlier mentioned, and this is why we are having lots of them being scammed because scammers also are taking advantage of the fact they are desperate about making money to exploit them.
305  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are banks scared of crypto on: September 04, 2019, 08:08:38 AM
There is no way banks will not be scared about crypto as they are taking their chances of getting the inflow from sending and receiving commission from customers , with a boarders breaking barrier which require swift code and large fees .

So taking away one mix of getting rich will definitely hurt them and I can see the crypto world is growing day by day.
I have still not seen the reason why the banks should be sacred of cryptocurrency for now, because the benefit they ill get is even more than those border transaction that they do make money from, with cryptocurrency, they will be able to even have more money in the bank because most people that puts money in crypto will still move into the fiat market which they will definitely use bank as the store, and banks has many source of making money, they use their clients money to give loan and then get money on the interest, so there will be more money for them now in the bank.

Blockchain tech is also developed to help them in facilitating banking procedures, so if they still see bitcoin as threat, then they must be some sort of greedy bank owners.
306  Economy / Economics / Re: What are the benefits of bitcoin to my country (Nigeria) economy?. on: August 29, 2019, 06:27:41 PM
Oh...... and wealth creation
Hmm, I am still trying to think of how it can create wealth in Nigeria generally, but still can't link it. I know that bitcoin will reward those that are keeping it as store of value in their country but that will be limited to their citizens and how many of their citizens are even in cryptocurrency, and the ones there, how much money do they really invest in cryptocurrency for it to make them wealth.

Wealth is not the problem of that country to the best of my knowledge, because they are wealthy, they have much of mineral resources and they have lost of gift of nature that God has given them, but they are not creating wealth out of it, they have little or no factories that could help them developed these things and market them internationally to create employment, and the oil and gas they rely on is the main source of their corruption.
307  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Preferred crypto betting site ? on: July 13, 2019, 10:17:29 AM
Which crypto betting site is the best in your opinion ? Do you prefer sites that use large cryptocurrencies or platform which use their own token ? Why ? We would love to hear your opinion on this subject.
There are lots of cryptocurrency betting sites and I'm not the kind of person that relies only on one site when I'm betting. I make use of different sites and three among them are my favorite sites that always comes to my mind whenever I want to bet. The number one I like is Nitrogen Sports, I really like how their platform looks very simple and it's a really good betting site.

Unlike other betting sites your account is kept anonymous and payouts are really quick. But if you choose this website you've got to be careful with making use of it. My second best betting site is SportsBet and when you talk of safety, then this is one of the safest crypto betting sites there is, but unlike Nitrogen, they don't allow anonymous account, you will give some information.

you said three but i only see two sites that you mentione  , what about the last one ? what is the name of that casino  ?  i guess it was also a sports book or related to sports right ?  sports based gambling are so popular nowadays  but i am the only one that not attracted to them ?  i still find myself sticking on a simple dice game  .

maybe because it was easy ,  all i need to do is to deposit and play instantly  while other kinds of games requires more skills and efforts .
Maybe you should give sport book a trial, it’s not really that difficult and just like Dice some sports sites allows instant deposit and to start playing, you only need to do a proper research and Moreover I  also prefer sport to Dice.

Dice games are more of game of luck and this could be the reason they have less players. Majority who play on dice only play for the fun and not to make money. Those with the intention of making money understand that Sports is still the best of the all and just a little skill can make one become a quick wealthy gambler, I have read and seen how the life’s of some gamblers get a quick turnaround from just a game on sport bet.
308  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins Holders ,be calm on: July 11, 2019, 10:34:23 AM
The latest altcoins news spreading on the internet now is altcoins investors will be disappointed ,popular crypto predictors are saying its time for people to start seeing bitcoin has the only lone wolf worth investing in and all altcoins will go nowhere.

My advice to all altcoins investors is not to panic ,these people as popular as they are can't predict the future, last bullrun of 2017 no one saw it coming and the last Almighty altcoins season of January 2018 no one ever think that will happened.
That’s for sure, people will always say anything to discourage you from what you are doing right. I have been seeing all these comments that are altcoins are not going anywhere this season and I’m not even bothering myself about it because I know for sure that none of these people saying all that can predict the price of any cryptocurrency. Even the uptrend that stated on April this year, none of them was able to predict that was going to happen they were all taken by surprise, so what makes them think they can predict what’s going to happen to altcoins. Funny people… well, I still invested in some good altcoins and they are all stored in my wallet, with Bitcoin as well.
309  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: what is the prediction of ethereum as of now? on: July 11, 2019, 09:43:26 AM
Well!!

other than bitcoin I want to invest in ethereum because it seems like ethereum price is performing really well in the crypto space,

Crypto experts predict that the ethereum will reach more heights.

can anyone suggest me its price prediction?

no one knows for sure how much Ethereum prices in the future, but certainly the price of Ethereum has reached $ 1300 at the end of 2017 and that is the highest price for Ethereum until this moment, so my prediction the price of Ethereum will definitely reach $ 1300 or even more and if you want to invest in Ethereum then it's the right choice, because the price of Ethereum is still at a low price and when Ethereum price increases, you will definitely get a very big profit.

I think, ethereum will take a long time to reach $ 1300 again, maybe next year. Today a lot coins are competitors for ethereum, such as BNB Coin or EOS. Many projects that previously used the ethereum network, now use other blockchain such as the Binance Chain.
Forget not that number of new project keeps increasing on a daily basis, and the ICO market is very wide for every one of them to make it. Companies like Ethereum and co offering chain services are still very limited and Ethereum will still gain quite a huge number of users that all these other ones you mentioned, so I don’t see these competitors being of threat to Ethereum at all.

Ethereum is yet to surge because we are also yet to see altcoins increases, once all altcoins start mooning, it will be obvious that Ethereum will get more than that value in the next bull run. Ethereum, Binance, EOS will all witness another ATH record, and I see it also happening this year, because I can feel the sideways of bitcoin fast approaching, one bitcoin becomes stable for a while, altcoins will start responding very high.
310  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Looking for No Fee Coins on: July 03, 2019, 11:36:44 AM
Hi

I actually used Bitcoins in the beginning to sends $10 there. And Pay $5 there. But Fees killed this.

I am now using iota as there are no fees. But am still looking for that magic no fees coin.

Are there any other no fee coins other than iota

Thank You
When was that? Around what time did you make use of Bitcoin to do transaction and got charged up to $5 as transactions fees? It depends what time, cause the last time I remember that fees got so high as that was in 2017 when the price of cryptocurrency was very high. The fees for transaction becomes cheap whenever the price is low. Maybe you should continue making use od IOTA, though one thing I don't really like about most of these coins is that you will hardly find anyone or stores that accepting them, and also you wouldn't see any of these big wallets accepting it, that's another thing. If you're actually sending money to your friends and family, then tell them to be making use of the same wallet just as you, that way you wouldn't be charged for transactions, with wallets like Coinbase, Xapo and Luno. That's the only ones i can remember.
311  Economy / Gambling / Re: 💰TrustDice - ETH/BTC deposit bonus Started! 28/06/2019 Grab your eth/btc 💰 on: July 02, 2019, 05:44:54 AM
It’s not all about being the only one to be offering an EOS faucet, the main thing is how much the faucet is paying. Hope it’s not one of these annoying faucets that are filled up with adverts that won’t even let users claim a single reward. The main thing like I have said is how much the faucet is paying, some faucets don’t pay much and they are just a waste of time, even if you do them from now till next twelve months you’re not going to achieve anything from it at all.
312  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is anonymous betting a desired feature? on: June 28, 2019, 11:11:53 AM
~
Gamblers are not required to register on physical casinos, (atleast where I live) i don't see why registering on online ones are necessary.
I understand the need to monitor people in public places but the current way of handling sensitive information is dangerous and primitive

I agree with you, not requiring any registration in land based casinos and, at the same time, requiring personal data on online registration doesn't make sense and also looks unfair. I would not be surprised if it turns out that these laws were lobbied by land based casinos, so that gamblers would prefer going to them. Also, it's a primitive way of catching criminals, if you ask me. If they wanted to launder their money, of course they would not provide their personal info to an online casino, but would go to a land based one instead.
On the contrary, I don’t think that is true. Offline casinos have no business with the affairs of online gambling and it is not in their power to influence the decision of online casino sites. I feel the reason why personal details are required in online gambling is still because of money launders and minors.

The reason why these information might not really be need in an offline casino center is this, there is physical contact and sometimes even without getting the players information, the operators can guess if the player is of age and also there’s something called instinct. They can as well always guess if the player is into money laundering by appearance but this is not possible with online, so requesting for information will be the only way out.
313  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WILL BOUNITES AND NEW PROJECTS EVER STOP? on: June 24, 2019, 10:33:18 AM
As far as new projects pop up, bounties will continue to be in the crypto space. I think it is a good way to attract more people to the crypto space. I didn't enter crypto with a lot of money but through bounty, I have been able to contribute so huge in some ICOs. I do not expect this to end now as new ideas are now coming
That is right, despite all the challenges of ICO, people still pay lots of attention to it, and developers will always choose ICO which is still the easiest means for a startup capital unlike IEO which a developer must have so much money first before they can get listed on IEO platform for investors to be able to have access to them.

I was even amazed recently to always see bit bond that happens to be an STO project also conducting bounty, this shows how bounty campaign is and shows how important bounty hunters are, I am sure that there will be a time too when IEO will start conducting bounty when virtually all exchanges starts coming up with IEO projects.
314  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think altcoins will be used for in the future. on: June 21, 2019, 07:30:39 AM
If there is an altcoin that is more environmentally friendly than Bitcoin, has all the functionalities of Bitcoin and is faster than Bitcoin as in the transactions settle in 8 seconds compared to Bitcoin's 10 minute block time, then I see tremendous use for the altcoin.

Digital Gem Token - Mainnet 100% Live

The mistake many of you people that are promoting some of these project do make is first to try and use the project to belittle Bitcoin, and the moment you do that, you have already made a Bitcoin believer lost interest.

When I saw this project you shilled, I was about checking it out but got discourage immediately you said it is better than Bitcoin. You see a good project does not really need to speak too much, let their product and action speak for them, if the project is really good, then wait for it to battle with Bitcoin as you say, because to me, I have still not seen any system developed that can ever be better than  Bitcoin.
315  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: SignalProfits? on: June 21, 2019, 06:48:02 AM
We can't force people to learn to trade and we can't stop them subscribing to different paid groups that provide signals.
I just want to be fair for those people who can afford those subscriptions from premium paid groups and to those people who cant.

Because some people have the reason why they subscribe to that paid groups because maybe they are busy on their life like in a full-time job, but they have the money and can afford to join in paid groups. The other side is people who don't want to join in such paid groups since they can't learn something or they can't afford the fee.
Although you can join in paid groups while learning or you will learn by yourself and do trade base on what you learn are all fine.
Pure laziness is what I see people paying for signal is, they are busy, but they have the time to login to that paid group page and then pick the signal to go apply, the time they are using to pick that signal is the time they will quickly use to develop their own personal signal, anyone who is busy to trade should then stay off trade, which is why we have long term investment.

If those paid group are so good, they would have used all their signals to make very high money in the market and also would not have time to attend to people, it is because those signal group too are jobless and does not make money from the trading market that they want to scam users with their assumed signals.
316  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Whats better holding many coins or fewer coins? on: June 19, 2019, 09:46:01 AM
I would say that holding a few coins that you're sure are very good and will yield you some good profit in the long run is better than holding a lot of shits that are not going to earn you anything in return. I have seen some people that buy lots of shit coins maybe because they are cheap and at the end of it all they will end up not having anything in return, most of them will lose more than half of what they started with, so that is a waste of time. Just go for few coins that you're sure are really good and you will be okay, if one fails, you will still recover from the others.

318  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I want to put some BTC back into altcoins...suggestions? on: March 12, 2019, 07:15:13 PM
I’m feeling like most altcoins have bottomed out for the most part. If things ever turn around, I think a lot of these projects will skyrocket.

I currently have 79% of my holdings in BTC. 8% Eth, 7% LTC, 3% BNB, and the rest in various shitcoins.

Let’s say I wanted to put 5% of my bitcoin into 3 projects...what would you recommend?

Thanks. (Please not shitcoin shills. Real projects. Real longevity.)
Days before we could see almost each market into red but now some markets have started growing up again. There are a lot of opportunities to invest into coins which have nearly started growing back again as the price may pump back depending on the demand for that specific coin. It would always be a great option to put some of your investments into Eth as it is the top coin which comes after bitcoins. Eth also can multiply the profits as we already saw it crossing $500.

320  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you see a future with one cryptocurrency or thousands? on: November 29, 2018, 11:19:31 AM
In the future there will be a lot of cryptocurrencies, perhaps. much more than now. This is explained by the fact that the formation of new types of cryptocurrency is decentralized and accessible to everyone. Therefore, many use and will continue to use this opportunity. Tokens are owned by so many people and no one can gather them in one hand. In addition, tokens perform various functions, not a single coin or token can perform all of these functions. Therefore, over time, the number of different types of coins and tokens will only increase.
Well, there will be a lot of cryptocurrencies but very few will still be somehow available in the long run based on the fact that they won't be utilized in real life since they do not have a product. The truth of the whole thing is that most of the coins in the market right now do not have products. Some projects came with an idea, but in the long run, the team did not end up fulfilling their end of the bargain.

As time goes on, the only coins and tokens that will likely be in the market are those ones with product and not just anyhow product, but something a lot usable in the long run that would drive in sustainable demand.
