I am receiving regular payouts... I see a 0.6 every now and again -- but nothing that concerns me.

FFC Pool down on fireflycoin.com

Cool... I am in for a bit. I like me some alt coins!!!!

Yeah, no... I know exactly how stake works, thank you.
What concerns me is that I have been holding on to a sizable amount of GRW, as I do other POS based coins. Over time, with coin-age, some of those coins are pulled into the stake category to 'try' and generate stake.
We're OK there.
What I do not see -- after several weeks, are ANY coins selected and moved into the Stake category to try and generate. Yet, the client is 100% busy.
Though it clearly states that coins will be selected and start working to generate stake about 5-9 days after. So am I to believe Growth coin works differently that all other POS coins... Scrypt and SHA?

Something is definitely not right. I have received 0 pos and it's been just over 1 week since the time frame it should have kicked in. The wallet is keeping by CPU 100% busy for days on end... and nothing to show for it. Almost time to pull the plug on the wallet.

The exchange has been running on hosted servers located in Texas, USA. Theoretically, if the US govment found out about this site and felt it was worth their time, they could have potentially pulled the plug.
However, a.) that's highly unlikely, b.) they would have to coordinate that with the hosting company, c.) RS has data back-ups so he could fairly easily have the site up and running with another host, in a reasonable amount of time and, e.)
Last I heard, he's picked up some beefed up servers to run the site, probably out of his own basement. Knowing that RealSolid is quite fond of proxying all communication with his projects, I imagine the best the Fed (or any government could do) is shut down a proxy. This is fairly easy to update and replace.
Good to know... not that I want to be a nay-sayer. Burnside didn't accept fiat either -- but the sites still shut down. To regulations? Who knows for sure. It's nice to know there is some though behind the process and the 'what if' scenario has been considered. Thank you!

With the shutting down of BTCTC... I pulled out of cryptostocks because... well, I am afraid the same may happen to their site too.
What makes this site any different... to where I don't have to worry about stupid regulations forcing the site down?

guys, what happening with KED? Getting stuck at block 22622 I am synced to block 58040 with 6 connections. Restart your client perhaps?

"Basecoin provides annual interest rate of 0.01%, for stakes that are not moved."
Wow... I think one could make more in transaction fees... in one day ....
|

I've mined a lot of these sci-fi coins..... why?... because I am waiting for an exchange? No.
I do it because I think they're cool. I don't care if they're ever worth anything. .. I just like collecting coins !

Cryptsy is not going to list VLC.
Ever.
That's ok by me !

I keep my rigs in the basement on a rack. Heat rises. .. so I get some good heating throughout the house without having to hear the equipment.
At 10 degrees out, and my basement windows open, it stays around 65 degrees down there!

Everything seemed ok a couple days ago then the client stalled again. I have wiped out my Appdata and loaded the 6 peers above.
I am syncing the client again and, fingers crossed, hope it goes all the way through in a few hours.
Sigh... all this time... 11% Synced. I'll be back next week

I'm only ever getting "1 active connection to the infinitecoin network"
How does one improve that?
Do you have the addnodes from fisheater's first post in this thread in your infinitecoin.conf file? If not, try adding them. Yup, actually, quite a bit more: addnode=111.161.77.213 addnode=67.193.198.104 addnode=85.217.147.117 addnode=66.87.67.255 addnode=108.62.211.7 addnode=66.63.176.231 addnode=80.7.165.182 addnode=24.144.220.244 addnode=192.241.222.102 addnode=98.18.252.73 addnode=192.249.59.81 addnode=75.152.93.200 addnode=95.170.82.34 addnode=67.177.3.56 addnode=80.234.71.58
OK, quick script... most of those are dead as a doornail. http://pastie.org/8358637The only ones that work: addnode=85.217.147.117 addnode=66.63.176.231 addnode=98.18.252.73 addnode=192.249.59.81 addnode=95.170.82.34 addnode=67.177.3.56 If I strip the conf list to just those, no connections now. Not one. Everything seemed ok a couple days ago then the client stalled again. I have wiped out my Appdata and loaded the 6 peers above. I am syncing the client again and, fingers crossed, hope it goes all the way through in a few hours.

Very cool... lol It would be cooler to see this crypto (either UFC, KED or both) integrated into a Black Nova Traders style game
|
|

I actually mined for a couple days on the fork... so I mined like 100 Million coins... then they all disappeared. Sigh... my fault for not checking first to see if everything was ok.

Excellent solution monocolor!
I have been stuck for a while now... I loaded your block chain, put in the listed nodes on the new client and was 100% synced in minutes. Thank you!
