3041  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stay Calm, IEOs aren't a threat on: March 24, 2019, 03:30:58 PM
I have overhead many people in various bounty groups talking about how bounty campaigns are gonna die should we move on from ICO to rampant IEO issuance (maybe the exchanges shall take over the advertisements or so).

Fact is that if IEOs become a thing, many projects will arise and hence the services of bounty hunters shall be required again. Every project needs advertisements to expand and that's why we are there as bounty hunters. This is the same way ICOs grew in number.

All we should hope for is a better crypto ecosystem because at the end, we shall be needed for promotion in one way or the other

I'm still longing for a time where bounty hunters are paid in bitcoin and we can have lots of coins to promote that are already in the market, but unfortunately, we only see few coins like this, I've counted and there are only two of these like CCN, Azartpay, hopefully we will have ten or more.
3042  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: can you reverse or cancel a bitcoin transaction? on: March 24, 2019, 03:27:11 PM
It has been said sometimes that a Bitcoin transaction can be cancelled or reversed using for example double-spend.
Is it still possible? If Yes, how? If No, Why?
Especially when you sell services and goods and accept Bitcoin payment, you are worried about this.
So it should be a good idea to discuss this topic.

You can't cancel or revert a transaction.

However, there are a couple "tricks" you can pull while a transaction is UNCONFIRMED.

For example, you can create a (very) low-fee transaction, and broadcast it to as little nodes as humanly possible. Then, create a new transaction, using the same unspent outputs as input but funding a completely different address as the first transaction. You can create this secondary transaction with a much higher fee and broadcast it to as many nodes as possible.
If you do this, there is a decent chance a miner will put the second transaction into the block he's currently working on instead of the first one. And once one of those transactions ends up in a valid, broadcasted block that's been added to the blockchain, the other transaction is automatically "voided". It's using unspent outputs that are no longer in the UTXO set, so the unconfirmed tx becomes invalid.

If you're setting up a service, it's always a good idear to wait for at least 1 confirmation before sending goods or services. For expensive products, you might even chose to wait 3+ confirmations ( 6+ for the really paranoid shop owners). Once a transaction has a couple of confirmations, there is no way of cancelling or reversing it.

Merit you for a great explanation, I have not encountered a transaction where I could wish or plan to reverse, but this one is going to be a big help if ever I have I encounter something like this, this is a big help for those selling goods and offering services.
3043  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Am done with KYC on: March 24, 2019, 03:20:21 PM
Glad that you did, but still many people are joining airdrops and bounty campaign with KYC, even those airdrops that is worth only $5, I don't know if they are using their own credentials or just faking it, because they can sell their credentials for that very low amount.
3044  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 📢📢 [ANN] RENOVATO - new exchange company on: March 23, 2019, 10:14:58 AM
there already much bitcoin and altcoin trading platform, what makes your platform better than other.
i see many exchanger give user unique features and already implemented in their platform, and i see your team are failed for passed KYC in few ico listing site

Yes, many members from the team are not verified and also the company has listed in very few ICO listing websites but it is managing to sell the coins in the market and already they built some reputation in the market.

I don't know what kind of reputation they've built, but based on what's been posted here by members and ICOETHICS it seems their reputation is questionable, I would not even support or invest, in a project that is not transparent and cannot answer the allegations.
3045  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Most alts are worth Zero on: March 23, 2019, 10:11:49 AM
The market has realized most of these coins are worth nothing and some promoters have no intention of developing the ecosystem

I have invested and even promote some of these coins, they are good when they are in the ICO stage, but after generating funds, they will stop updating their channels, and if you are going to question them, they will ban you, and after a few weeks they will disable all their social media site and run away, this is the hard reality.
3046  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: HOPE FOR SHIT COIN on: March 23, 2019, 10:00:44 AM
I don't think it is a good idea, why would you give a chance for shitcoins to scam again, remember some of the shitcoin's developers still has a huge supply stuck to their wallet, if you develop those shitcoins again, developers will have a second time to make a profit, so better forget this idea, it will not gain support.
3047  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Luck is the opposite on: March 21, 2019, 03:34:10 AM
I have a very good intuition in the other direction.
If I buy something, then it falls in price. If I sell, it grows almost immediately. Am I following the crowd and losing, or are I being harassed (curse)?
Am I the only one?

You are not the only one unlucky it happens to all of us, and we have no way to control the market situation at this point of time, I have seen one of my coin jumping to 500 times profit 24 hours after I sold it, in the same exchange where it was pumped, I'm just getting used to it, you should.
3048  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 📢📢 [ANN] RENOVATO - new exchange company on: March 20, 2019, 10:16:12 PM
This will be an easy task for the team, if in case they decide to give honest answer.

3 questions:

1) This guy said this:

Why was his picture under the text "working hard behind project" if he is not part of the project?

2) Why Brian Yahn didn't pass ICObench's KYC test?

3) Why did you remove Meenoy S. and his picture from site, after someone has pointed fake name?

Even if they are traveling for about a week, there will always be a place that they can hook for net connection.
Maybe a lame excuse to face this kind of question?
We will see anyway what their response be after a week. They can't avoid this situation anyway.

The team is currently traveling on trip for 6 more days.
Remote location with no internet.

This makes me laugh Cheesy the whole team is traveling in a remote location with no internet at all, that is unbelievable.

That's very unusual, they are running an ICO right now, people are asking about the project potential investors wants to know more about the project and advertisers want to make a deal and they all will have to wait for the team to come back, this is the time they should be more visible, maybe they are on a beach enjoying their trip right now.
3049  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: eth coin prices slowly rising again? on: March 20, 2019, 04:24:22 AM
today I see the coin price starts to rise again, is this the initial up and down or will it go down again? I'm sure everyone will expect the eth coin will rise again, if you now have eth coins, will you sell it now or still hold back? eth coin holders or btc are not in a hurry to sell the co. thank you

It's too early to make a decision, even if you bought Eth at the $120 level there is still a huge profit to be made if you kept it to your wallet and just wait a little bit more, like holding for at least the last quarter of this year, where we can see a much higher price than today.
3050  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Monero Reach $500 in 2019? on: March 19, 2019, 03:32:12 PM
Maybe this year or in the next few years it wil happen again to Monero to reach highest price even more than$500.
Why did you not set higher price target, such as over $1000 per XMR?
Ethereum and DASH made it, so why Monero won't be able to make it happen next years?

Yeah you are right there is a basis why it should reach higher than $500, but this year it's still 50/50 the market is just getting up and we have a very slow movement of the price going up and before we end the year the most that Monero can reach probably is $200 hopefully.
3051  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Listing kills a coin? on: March 19, 2019, 03:01:14 PM
Will you invest in a coin that will not get listed in an exchange, after the end of the ICO all the investors and bounty hunters are asking is the date of the listing, because they want to know if the coin will have a value in the market, if the coin's price falls it's not usual because it can always bounce back.
3052  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hope for hodlers on: March 18, 2019, 10:53:24 AM
To my best understanding
Presently, the crypto currency market is a game of who buys or accumulates most tokens or bitcoins

The Government and The  big men wants to buy several of it and companies want to be a part of it as well

If we see BTC at $3k, I won't be surprised but when the moon and bull runs start..

It will be as eagles soar on the sky high

That's true that is why so many investors are into ICO they want to get as many tokens as possible in a good project, because if the potential of the coin in the market is realizing then he is into huge profit, that is why ICO will not die or even their alternatives.
3053  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about IEO (Initial Exchange Offering) on: March 18, 2019, 10:32:10 AM
With recent happenings in crypto currency regarding token sale,
i think icos are beginning to find their feet because binance conducting the crowdfunding event for BitTorrent and Fetch.AI has raised the hyped again.

And now, Bittrex has also announced a crowdfunding event too, an IEO,

so can you give your opinion on whether IEO or ICO will survive on the long run
That we will have to see, these projects are verified but after the crowdfunding, they have no control if the developers will develop their platform and follow their roadmap, investors are just excited to be in IEO because this is an alternative investment because they are too tired of seeing a lot of scammed ICO.
3054  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Death Penalty to ICO Scammers! Are you favor it? on: March 17, 2019, 11:57:27 AM
Do NOT Invest and Join ICO Bounties is the best punishment we can give them Cheesy Let them waste their initial capital money to create their fancy website and whitepaper.

lol....so do you believe this option will work? I don't think so buddy. The space has so many people who would do anything for a any little penny and so the no campaign punishment may not work lol.
Our best option will be to stay careful and vigilant so that we don't end up in the wrong hands.

Yes it will not work because ICO has become addicting and so is bounty hunting because there is money to it and the demand is great, so do not expect crowdfunding to die, death penalty is to cruel let them have 20 years for every thousand they scam, that will be a very long years and they will rot in jail.
3055  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What to do if you are deceived? on: March 17, 2019, 11:33:40 AM
I think that this is becoming more and more common lately, so what can we do to ensure that responsible people can be punished?

I think the easiest thing to do is to contact the developers before investing or before you decide to participate in the bounty of this project. You need to contact directly by phone, if it is specified or it is best to go and look at the address indicated on the website, is there really such a company. If this is not possible, but create a theme and ask people to find out if there is such an organization or people.

In general, by any means to identify the identity of these people. As soon as we can add personal identification, these people will not be able to just fool us. Because you can write to them in the police under the article fraud.

The most important thing is that today there is everything necessary in order to really find and punish the people who are deceiving us. I think it's time for us to start doing it, otherwise the ICO may die.

If you have any other suggestions, I will be glad to hear them.
It's only possible if you are living in the same region, but what if you are a hundred miles apart, you can get the identity of the people running behind the project, but if after they scammed you, there is no choice to run after them you will have to go to the developers country and file a case there, it will take a lot of money and time.
3056  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Got a Job after loosing hope in Bounties on: March 16, 2019, 02:42:03 PM
Hi,

I was a bounty hunter just like many others here. Was hoping that i can earn my living by doing bounty hunting rather then kissing someone's azz 9 to 5. But it looks as if the cryptocurrency world is not ready for us or may be not willing to accept us anymore.
So after sticking to my beliefs that it will grow and good times will come, but the time has come that i have to look for alternates and here i am sitting in an office doing "YES Sir", "No Sir" and hoping that i can have a financial stability to avoid doing job anymore.

Seriously looking for suggestion to gain financial freedom and don't have to do a job anymore.

When the market goes up again you will be crying why you did not participate in bounty hunting, there are still good projects here you will be missing out, but it's your choice anyway we cannot blame you for me bounty hunting and trading is my way for financial freedom almost had it last year.
3057  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you do when your coin spikes? on: March 16, 2019, 02:33:36 PM
I'm just looking for the opinions of others really, there's no right or wrong answer to this question.
What do you do when a coin you're holding suddenly jumps up by like 30% or whatever? do you try to sell at the peak of that spike and buy them back once it's gone back down again? or do you just keep on hodling?

30% is  already a good profit but I don't recommend to sell all your coins with that percentage, there is still a chance for a 50% or even higher profit and you don't want to miss this, as much as possible if the coin has a good future do not sell half of it.

3059  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can we stop promoting scam project? on: March 13, 2019, 03:50:10 PM
Most of the bounty hunters do not get payment despite their hard working and some gets a little with shit token. Can we prevent it? Just an idea.

What if we everybody stop to promote a project which offers only token?
For launching a project, the project owner or developer should have some money to promote the project. Say for example- they have to escrow a minimum of 40% of the bounty allocation in term of usd or btc. Only then we can prevent scam ico and bounty hunter will get their money. Can we start following this rule?

That's a good idea and will ensure that the project will go on, but you cannot make the developers comply, because people are still supporting full ICO coming investor's pocket, but I love to see one that implements this and succeed I think everyone will follow.
3060  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ⚡ IceChain - Scalable blockchain ⚡ Shards ⚡ Double Chain ⚡ on: March 13, 2019, 03:44:00 PM
IceChain will be listed on Yobit.net tomorrow! Next milestone is Testnet v1.0 with smart contract support.

Hey Yobit! Get ready for moon!  Cheesy

At least an active exchange with traders...

So, I see the mainnet will be it's own blockchain and that can be expected in like 4-6months?

This news is enough to pump the coin but it's the other way around, ICECHAIN is dropping big time from 15 satoshis to it's highest now they are traded at 5 satoshis 0.00000005 BTC (-35.58%)  who are dumping this coin?
I hope when it hit Yobit it will become a different story.

Na all that previous price was fake.
Probably going to be some serious manipulation for quite awhile... but hey hopefully it gets manipulated upwards... I can work with that.

Easy to manipulate the volume and price if you are a whale, Yobit is great in manipulating coins in their platform, if it successfully traded there, we will see a lot of pumps coming from that platform, and it's always good to pump a coin that has a product behind it so hopefully it gets manipulated upwards.
