2101  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin, Altcoin, New Projects Relationship on: November 24, 2019, 04:14:35 AM
And the fact that bitcoin is not even the first cryptocurrency.

Where did you get the idea that Bitcoin is not the first Cryptocurrency when you Google it all points to Bitcoin as the first Cryptocurrency, even Wikipedia has this to say
Quote
The first decentralized cryptocurrency, bitcoin, was created in 2009 by pseudonymous developer Satoshi Nakamoto. It used SHA-256, a cryptographic hash function, as its proof-of-work scheme.[14][15] In April 2011,
You have wrong thinking on this one if you have other information on what is the first Cryptocurrency please inform us.

2102  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: warning be aware from Hitbtc exchange on: November 23, 2019, 05:48:10 AM
hitbtc exchange didn't allow users to transfer or withdrwal #ICX icon for me about 4 months and for some other users more than a year.
and they even didn't announce about that to warn the users not to transfer between trading wallet and main wallet, they just keep it that way for years to get more users into these troubles

#hitbtc

People should stop using Hitbtc, they have old issues that they don't want resolve, all those bad reports in the scam sections are still unresolved,
it's only a matter of time before they do an exit scam, the complaints are mounting, and they are losing traders, soon they will scam those traders who choose to stay, so it's a bad idea to still use this exchange.
2103  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Did China really crash Bitcoin again? on: November 23, 2019, 03:05:14 AM
https://www.coincurb.com/news/china-unlikely-to-have-caused-recent-bitcoin-crash/

I don't think China was the cause of the 'recent' crash. Bitcoin has definitely been in a bad downtrend for weeks now. I'm sure these 'news' about China didn't help but that's not why Bitcoin has been doing bad all these weeks.

Even if they stated that they are not interested in Bitcoin and only on Blockchain, I don't think it will crash the market with this kind of statement, Bitcoin and blockchain go together if I am Chinese I will support my government move to create a new coin but I don't think to dump my Bitcoin because they don't believe on it, by adopting Blockchain, they are also adopting Bitcoin.
2104  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is this really a good plan? on: November 23, 2019, 02:11:31 AM
Few of my colleagues told me they quit bounty because many new projects are finding it very difficult to reach soft cap and those who manages to reach softcap ends up listing on ridiculous exchanges because of listing fee, a part of me feels like they are right because if a new project fails to aim for top exchange its game over,  the question now is why promoting new projects then?

Do these bounty hunters have a choice, they prefer to gamble in the hope that the project that they are promoting turn out to be profitable in the end, some of them have build a portfolio and a had a good forum rank, and they have spare time, so they gamble on promoting this new project hoping it will turn out good.
2105  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: Complete KYC to get Ultra coin tokens on: November 22, 2019, 10:47:15 AM
Earning free tokens has never been easier. Get a great start in joining Ultrablock, a cryptocurrency exchange platform that fuses the intricacies of trading with the fun of social networking and more. All you have to do is complete your KYC to get free Ultra coin tokens (UTL). Know more about the airdrop campaign by visiting Ultrablock.

I'm not a big fan of KYC but I do KYC for legit exchanges that comply with government regulation, but with airdrops, that's a different story, we have seen hundreds of airdrops in the past and until now, that ask for KYC but cannot present good roadmap and profitability for their investors and holders, people should ignore these kinds of airdrops and I think this one is included.
2106  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Send More Fraudlent Developers to Jail and I still Sanity Into Crypto on: November 22, 2019, 06:19:23 AM
Maksim Zaslavskiy, a computer programmer from Brooklyn and the first person in the United States to be convicted of running a fraudulent initial coin offering (ICO) has been sentenced to a year and a half behind bars as over 1000 investors were duped.

https://cointelegraph.com/news/us-ico-scammer-sentenced-to-18-months-in-jail?utm_source=Telegram&utm_medium=social

I think more of this Jail time will help sanitise the cryptocurrency space. What do you guys think?
Yea right but was the stolen money refunded back to the victims? that is the main issue, the jail term is too small too, it should be over 10years in jail not a single year and half, scammers need to be dealt with heavily

Yes it's very important that funds are refunded and the scammer's assets are all frozen, so even if he has a short term no one has lost their funds because each one was refunded and the money was stolen returned, there should be more prosecuted and put to jail, we have thousands of scammers here in Cryptocurrency.
2107  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your favorite kind of lottery? on: November 22, 2019, 05:35:25 AM

What is your favorite / preferable kind of lottery:

1. Active or passive approach:

Active: you need to guess winning numbers your self (like 6/45 etc.)

Passive: just buy ticket and wait if the ticket is lucky or not

2. Odds or prize amount?

Will you choose a lottery game with higher odds but lower prize, or lower odds but huge jackpot?

3. Reasonable ticket price?

Thank you everyone who joins the discussion.

I love lottery, this is the one gambling that can eventually change your life forever so I make it a point to be in control so I am the one picking numbers to bet usually my birthdate and all of my family, it's a combination of those numbers, I like the lower odds with huge jackpot, like what I said when you hit the jackpot your fortune will change forever.
2108  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you use betting tips? on: November 22, 2019, 04:57:15 AM
From my personal experience I used, I paid about $ 70 a month, and I got a ticket every 2 days with odds 3-4, I was not satisfied, I guessed poorly (more precisely that tipser), out of 15 tickets, the hits were 7. which is very bad for that odds. I lost a lot on that, so I'm interested in your experience?

You must be a high bettor to get a monthly $70 subscription, and the odds is really bad better do away with that subscription and just do your own research, tipping subscriptions just make you a lazy bettors, it's better to lose with your own judgement, than paying for some one to make you lose your money.

2109  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 30th South East Asian Games on: November 22, 2019, 03:39:16 AM
The 30th South East Asian Games will be held here in the Philippines from November 22 to December 11. There will be 11 Countries that participate in this biennial Olympics. Here are the countries that will participate.

Brunei
Cambodia
Indonesia
Laos
Malaysia
Myanmar
Philippines
Singapore
Thailand
East Timor
Vietnam

Who do you think will bring home the most number of Medals this time?
Is there a sports betting site that will cover this?

It's always been a battle between Malaysia Thailand Indonesia, these three are the powerhouse in this region, but the Philippines always had a good record of medal accumulation every time the game is being held there, my bet is Thailand because overall they have the most number of medals in all the SEA combines.
2110  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What's really good have you received from the results of the gambling bounty on: November 22, 2019, 01:16:50 AM
Because the results of this year's bounty are decreasing, even many of the bounty hunters do not earning from bounties, do many of you who don't usually take part in the bounty gambling, now move to bounty gambling to remain earning from the bounty, because I saw in this forum bounty gambling still pay well and continue to live, bounty gambling is an alternative to earning from bounty.
And does anyone of you make income to become from the bounties gambling to fulfill your daily life?

I'm out of ICO bounty campaign for several months and I don't think I will change my current signature campaign because of the weekly payment compared to ICO bounty campaign where I sometimes have to wait for a year for the coin to have value, it's a good decision on my part to leave ICO campaign.
2111  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Year 2020 expectations on: November 21, 2019, 09:29:51 AM
New upcoming projects are targeting 2020 either for good market season or because of the upcoming bitcoin halving, they want to avoid loses that is plaguing crypto space at all cost, even good projects of this year had hard time gathering needed fund and the lucky ones managed to reach softcap, what do you think about year 2020? will it be a very good year for IEO and bounty hunters?

Hopes are high because 2020 is the year for another Bitcoin halving, that means lesser Bitcoin that will be mine and difficulty will go up, so it's a different scenario for all of us here, definitely, Bitcoin and some other coins will go up but we never know how high will it be, but I will be happy if it double my profit, I do not expect too much.
2112  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Deontay Wilder Vs. Luis Ortiz II on: November 20, 2019, 12:06:02 PM
I have watched their first match and Wilder almost knocked down on the 7th round but lucky for him he got saved by the bell and after that round it is a complete turn of events. The last 3 rounds are dominated by him and Ortiz got knocked out in the 10th round IIRC.

That is right, that's why we are have a part II because people thinks that Ortiz will have a chance to do it again but this time, it will be a KO.

Now, I know that Wilder is for me the best Heavyweight right now with 41 wins with 40 of them ending with a KO but it will be a busy night for him. Ortiz is determined to give Wilder his first loss. He almost got it last year and now he will try it again.

But we have to think that Wilder improved a lot after their fight while Ortiz deteriorate specially that he has age a lot.

I'll still go for Wilder, he is at the peak of his career, he will adjust he has a lot of advantages for this fight, height reach power, he as has everything he needs to beat Ortiz, and he knows that this guy can hurt him so Wilder will take all the necessary adjustment, to beat Ortiz, I will still want to see a Wilder - Joshua in the future.
2113  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are your criteria to go back/sticking with one particular gambling house on: November 19, 2019, 03:27:40 PM
4. I am finding myself profitable only there/my strategy works only there.
5. Their reputation/customer support /instant withdraw/easy KYC etc.
6. Providing faucets/freebies.

8. Contests/races.

I'll pick these four over the other,  reputation is very important it ranks very high among what gamblers are looking for a gambling site, people will not play on gambling with a site with bad reputation however good is the gambling site is.

Contest and races is another one, it's a big attraction and make the gamblers to come back more, faucets and freebies to test their games and features
2114  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Addiction at its Worst! on: November 19, 2019, 01:42:43 AM
I was reading the news this morning and one of the headlines was about a terrible stealing incident involving an alleged gambling addict. The man is an employee of R&L Investments, one of the Philippines' oldest stock brokerage firms. He was able to orchestrate a way to suck at least ₱700-million worth of stocks from the company to support his gambling addiction. This is around 14 million USD, huge enough for the company to decide its closure after 5 decades of operation.[1]

I want to ask my fellow gamblers here, what is the worst thing you have done for your gambling hobby or habit? Have you come to the point of getting addicted to it and how did you counter it?

When I just starting out to gamble I lost a lot of time money, then I realized I cannot keep up anymore if I don't find  a way to stop myself from this addiction, gambling is like quicksilver you really can't hold of it or even totally control it all the times, I'm glad I'm fast that stage now I'm totally in control of my time and gambling.
2115  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Exchanges Tokens on: November 18, 2019, 12:30:36 PM
I don't think that the tokens from some of the exchanges you mentioned will die. An example is BNB, besides being used on the binance market as a trading pair, BNB is also traded in many markets. Don't you think they now have a strong community in the market ?

Tokens from these exchanges will not go down or die, because they are the top coins in the market, but there are new exchanges that launch their own coins or ICO that are exchange based, so people should watch out if these exchanges do have potential in the market, so they will know if these tokens are worth supporting or not.
2116  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why not advance as a bounty hunter? on: November 18, 2019, 11:44:16 AM
Some people have been bounty hunters for a long time (e.g, for the past 2 or3 years) and till now, they are still on the act of hunting for more altcoins.
It is true that the reward hunters now get is so small compared to what was obtainable 2 to 3 years ago and not only that, it now takes more time to be paid than it was. So, instead of complaining, why not through some of the experience you have got, since your sojourn in the crypto space, explore other means through which you can earn more and fill your portfolio.

N.B:
This might be like  a vital information. There are lots of projects that did bounty campaigns (although not all), which have decided to extent the time of payment of tokens to their bounty participants. Whose tokens are growing tremendously after listing on exchange. Which means that traders and investors of projects like these get their profits before bounty hunters are paid.

DISCLAIMER:: Although, this is not an investment advice, but an observation, which i have decided to call your attention to.

That's one of the reasons why bounty hunting for crowdfunding is in the sorry state, they are abusing bounty hunters, some developers are also locking bounty hunters token and will only be released it after investors and the developers made a profit, bounty hunters are left with crumps or leftover from profit.
2117  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling with Fiat or Crypto? on: November 18, 2019, 11:17:38 AM
What's best for gambling online? Crypto or Fiat? As for me, I'd rather go full crypto than Fiat for many obvious reasons. Crypto may be extremely volatile, but it's anonymous (depending on the coin) and censorship-resistant. Fiat may bring convenience to people that are not tech-savvy enough to understand crypto, but it can easily be traced by worldwide governments.

Crypto enables online casinos to perform their operations in a somewhat anonymous fashion. Both the gambler and the owner benefits from this. But I understand that crypto is still not accepted at physical casinos. In this regard, Fiat is the winner.

Nonetheless, what are your thoughts? Huh

Crypto has already conquered the online gambling, offline gambling will soon come after this, I prefer gambling with Crypto than Fiat whether online or offline, but right now I can only do it through online gambling, it's more convenient and I can trace if my deposit and withdrawal have arrived.
2118  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Have you any new ideas to replace the KYC? on: November 18, 2019, 03:54:29 AM
The crypto market is decentralized, we live here as anonymous and free and we love it! But this KYC process is killing the anonymity of crypto! To invest in a good IEO you need to verify KYC, to do a good bounty project, you will have to go through KYC! But why? You guys are doing nothing with our KYC, then why you keep asking our identity? A selfie by holding my ID card, wtf! Did we ever ask you to verify your KYC when you launch a project/bounty?  Why you are not coming with another option where a freedom crypto member doesn't need to show his face?

Ok, guys, now my question to you, Have you any idea what can be good to replace the KYC method?

There's no replacement for KYC and I don't think these exchanges and those who want to identify us will do away with KYC, this is the only way they can trace who we are and where we are, this is something we cannot deal, it's better to shift to decentralized exchange if you don't want to do KYC.
2119  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [What IF] Part 6 on: November 17, 2019, 11:14:09 PM
Let's get this started already! Currently on a mixed mood right now. LoL. I wonder how many users will participate this week after starting on an early day.

So here, what if if a certain platform gives a random time for free bets within a minute, would you stay awake and online just to participate on that lucky event? Besides you'll never know you might hit the jackpot after you make all the bets within a minute.
Somewhere like this:
"In this month, we will be having a free bet on a minute just stay tuned for we will hit it randomly and it will be made only 3times as a whole"

Now you guys, hit it!

It' s gambling to wait and stay online the whole day or night, if you have a job you cannot do that, I'll wait based on my allocated time online but never the whole day and night just for a free spin, I'll just spend funds for my spin than spend the whole time for unknown time for the free spin to arrive.
2120  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WILL Bounty campaigns Ever Keep to their Rules and Regulations on: November 17, 2019, 08:51:39 AM
The truth about New projects these days is none of them are real. all are fake and copy cats. Knows that they have nothing to offer. they are just after the Money. if they are fortunate to raise the money, fine business starts.  but if not;everything scrap to the scratch.  it all depends on the money. money first. once it is realized, they do everything possible to protect the money not the project. from the project CEO to CEO. to the legal team and the rest.
Bounty participants are the LEAST in the list of Payment. before you join that bounty. Make sure you have the free time and won't regret in case target was not met.

Great projects in the Crypto world have ended in 2017, right now there's hardly any project that can met our expectation, so many scam projects or projects that cannot sustain, it now runs up to thousands of dead projects, and investors have lost billions of dollars because of these scam projects, only a brave investors will likely invest in ICO.
