2081  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Tete vs Casimero on Nov 30 on: November 30, 2019, 11:53:15 PM
Edwards was right when he said Casimero is one hard puncher, that was a quick job for Casimero, I just don't like how the ref acted on this fight he even helps Tete to get up, and he should have stopped the fight on the first knockdown and more so on the second knockdown the last puch on the face of Tete is very hard and loud you can hear it, here is the video of the fight.

2082  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have You Counted Or Estimate All Your Losses And.... on: November 30, 2019, 10:16:57 PM
My rough calculation is, I can easily buy a good cellphone that's worth $400 here or more here in our country, but heck the enjoyment and the fun I've had is priceless, I believe if you are making fun gambling you need not calculate, it takes away the fun once you calculate what you can buy with that amount.
2083  Economy / Exchanges / Re: another crypto exchange hacked on: November 30, 2019, 10:37:11 AM
Major South Korean crypto currency exchange Upbit has notified users of the theft of 342,000 Ether (ETH) from It's hot wallet via a on site notice.

Upbit CEO, Lee Seok-woo has pledged to cover losses (342,000 ETH) through corporate asset and have already moved crypto assets held in its hot wallet to cold storage.

Deposits and withdrawals will take at least two weeks to resume, with Lee Seok-woo promising to inform users as soon as they reopen,

I think there is nothing secure.

Source: CoinTelegraph

We don't know if this is an inside job, authorities should do an investigation here, but as long as they cover the lost Eth and they secure traders funds, we cannot consider this an exit scam, two bad news in a week the other one is IDAX but Idax is now considered an exit scam, traders should never store their coins in exchanges, it's very risky.
2084  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is this a scam attempt? Or Nothing to panic? on: November 30, 2019, 10:01:31 AM

In my opinion, I think IDAX is attempting a scam exit. We all know how cunning they can be when they're ready to ooze off. Different strategies they use. And now, even if the CEO shows up, users will flee the exchange as they will lose confidence and trust for it. And that would be the beginning of the dead end of IDAX. So, I'll advise that you start using non-custodian waller.

There have been a lot of bad reports on IDAX that is why I stopped using them and I have no choice but to dump tokens that I have that can only be traded there when an exchange is not addressing issues and they are giving bad support, sooner or later they will do an exit scam, people should always get an update once they see bad reports about that exchange.
2085  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: You think that governments might adopt cryptocurrencies to replace fiat currency on: November 30, 2019, 05:14:22 AM
Currently, in this day and age, all governments around the world have adopted fiat currencies as a means for its citizens to trade with one another and to trade with other nations around the world. However, would it be possible for in the future for governments around the world to create a cryptocurrency as a means of trade to replace fiat currency?

I can see that fiat currency has many flaws as all types of currencies before it, but with the new “government cryptocurrency” would it be able to solve the problems that fiat currency has and make a better economy? I’m not really sure myself as I can’t really predict the future.

Considering that fiat currency replaced all the previous currencies before it, would cryptocurrency replace fiat currency in the future?

So far no country has attempted to do that or has done an experiment because the risk is high, a country that will do that should have 100% of its people educated on how to transact in Cryptocurrency, a country that will do that should have modern facility and have internet connection on all its areas, even the remote one.
2086  Economy / Economics / Re: Where should we focus this year? on: November 30, 2019, 03:31:29 AM
We have had a ups and downs in 2019 and nothing too special this year. We are waiting for the booming year of 2020 to come.
Somehow, I feel very good for the next year of crypto market. Bitcoin is in a downtrend again, just like the end of 2018 and it has started a very strong uptrend. I believe history will repeat and we will have a glorious year.

I don't have too big expectations for the next year. Price will probably stay in the current range with few corrections, at least at the begininig of the year. We can expect some price rise too but probably not more than 10000$, at least that is my vision. 2017 will hardly happen any time soon so we need to be realistic to avoid big disappointments.

People pin so much hope in the coming halving but it will not happen fast, it will be gradual and steady, it's not like that the price of the coins here will double one week after the halving, the effect will happen a few months after the halving, but I highly doubt if the price will triple in 2020 the best price that I could think of is $20000 and I'm still moderate.
2087  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to invest my $1.5K? on: November 30, 2019, 02:50:55 AM
i have got around $1500 to invest in coins which coins do you guys suggest to invest in for quick money ? a year ago I have invested in STRAT and Sia and I lost big amounts and regret investing in those coins.

I'm thinking of investing $1k into BTC as its low risk but I would like to risk the the other $500 with a coin that I can make quick money with it
Because of the current situation where we are Bitcoin halving is fast approaching, investing in Bitcoin and the top 5 coins in the market is a good decision, we should not gamble on new coins or old coins that promised a lot but failed to deliver the goods, Bitcoin, litecoin, bitcoin cash and Binance is the best place to place your money.
2088  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Just earned my first 9$ in Bitcoin Cash, how can I grow it? on: November 30, 2019, 02:09:59 AM
What can I do with this 9$ worth of Bitcoin Cash to make it grow in a short time? Should I trade cryptocurrencies? How about trading bots?
There's really not much you can do with that amount, I don't recommend that you invest it in HYIP it's very risky to do that or even gamble that in an online casino, holding that is the only way to grow that Bitcoincash, trading bots are also risky but the decision is yours if you ask me, you could lose that if you engage in these activities.
2089  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Be very careful with: PAYPALUNLOCKED it is a SCAM on: November 29, 2019, 01:31:29 AM
I also think that it is SCAM, the same thing happened to me that website was scammed. we are already several that say the same
That website is not reliable.  Undecided
don't buy at www.paypalunlocked.com

Running a business like this is very risky for buyers, Paypal always check our location and transaction if they see that the location of the login changes they ask for a lot of verification, so if you bought one you have a risk of getting limited, at least you posted it here so know people know that this is a scam site.
2090  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Is fortunecrypto.net scam? on: November 28, 2019, 04:34:48 PM
Hello do some of you have experience with fortunecrypto.net? Its suspicious that I need to deposit before I can withdraw BTC funds there, which were sent by someone to me there
Wow I'm surprised to see this I thought someone is accusing me, for the record, I don't have anything to do with this project, it's just a namesake and I don't recommend that you trust it right away, checking their traffic, it seems they are a new site, no team behind it looks dubious, I will support a flag if there is a bad report on this.

2091  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Seeking answers can help on: November 28, 2019, 11:28:55 AM
To all newbies like myself on this forum, you never know what you are missing if you are not visiting scam accusation thread regularly on this forum, this board right here

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=83.0

Can safe you lot of headache when you are still trying to invest on a project but you aren't sure yet whether to invest or not due to lack of solid information or

You haven't decide on which bounty project to promote yet, some members are very good at detecting scam projects and from time to time they always reveal fake/scam projects on the board, make sure you seek for better info before making any decisions, seeking answers can help.

I am not investing or promoting a new project anymore, but I make sure to drop here from time to time to check if there is a new catch, and so far there are still many scams and dubious project getting caught, they don't want to stop, they are in the business of recycling old projects.
2092  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is NOW the time to get into Ethereum ? on: November 28, 2019, 05:36:39 AM
Yes, I know that there are many coins , and everyone has a favourite. But with the Ethereum 2.0 upgrade close, the move to Proof of Stake and the performance improvements promised , is now the time to get seriously into Ethereum ? I discuss this in the following video , as well as the opportunity it provides :

https://youtu.be/O8gTpGu9D_c

By the way , if you forward to 13:15 I also share my equation for getting Bitcoin at a lower price

I'm always been bullish on Ethereum even on the times that people are questioning it, and now that they are shifting to Proof Of Stake, there's a lot of store for Ethereum, but I don't think they will become a serious threat to Bitcoin, I like it that they have a stronghold in the second place, they deserve to be in the second place, they have a lot of good community support and they offered a lot to the community.
2093  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I think crypto world needs... on: November 28, 2019, 03:42:25 AM
What do you think the crypto world needs at the moment? (I'm talking about projects)

In my opinion there is no real platform/website that offers everything you need. For example, news, some kind of trading tools or indicators, educational program maybe hot articles etc...

There is already a lot on it, check youtube and use the right keywords and you'll see many channels offering hot news and indicators, there are also a lot of services that offer what you need, check out the service announcement, Coindesk, Bitcoin99 are some example of article websites that offer educational programs and hot articles.
2094  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [What IF] Part 7 on: November 27, 2019, 05:14:51 PM
I was so busy for our upcoming competition for Robotics at school that's why I wasn't able to come up with a crazy idea yesterday, and actually even now I wasn't so sure about a thing so here's a little bit easy for all of you.

What if you have a kid on the house and you're currently making bets online and you accidentally have a phone call or what so ever thing you might do on that time and suddenly the kid mistook it for some fancy game and make bets on his/her own, would you be upset and get angry to the kid? Or would you rather trust a child's play on this scenario?

Due to our late discussion, thread will be open until Saturday.

Why get angry it's just a kid and kids are like that, they are so curious on so many things, I will just let it, but explain to him that he should not do that again, I know that gambling is addictive and he is not yet ready for this kind of thing, I will just tell him to stay away for now, because he is still a kid.
2095  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Wilder vs. Fury II: The Rematch is On on: November 27, 2019, 06:24:17 AM
"This time, I haven’t been out of the ring for three years. This time, I haven’t been abusing too much alcohol. And this time, I’m going to knock him the f*** out."

Tyson Fury said the exact same thing for their first fight. He said multiple times that he didn't intend to let the fight go to distance and promised to "knock this bum out."

However, we then saw him fight extremely slow and technical in the fight, pretty much threw no knockout shots and clearly intended to win on points.

Wilder, on the other hand, clearly went in there looking to blow Fury out and almost did it twice.

Fury has been messing around in WWE, fighting nobodies and talking too much trash lately. He might not survive the next fight.
Both of their last fights have an indication of things to come for their next fight, Wilder is very sharp and very strong and very serious on becoming the one best champion in the heavyweight division, his opponent in his last fight is not a very technical fight, I'm talking about Ortiz, I believe Wilder can knock Fury out if he sees the opening, that's what he needs I'm sure this is what he will be looking for.
2096  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Are all exchange going to Alive in near future? on: November 26, 2019, 02:15:27 AM
The current currencies are 4849 and Markets are 20850 according to the CMC. Is this really working fairly? I think if it was altered, it would better to get more volume and liqudity. Still thinking, the future of Exchangaes.

Cryptocurrency is the future, many new projects are going to come, and the competition is going to be stiff and hard, there will be a lot of purge going on along the way, so you need to educate yourself on how to trace the right project to invest, it will be easy if you arm yourself with the right knowledge to trace what projects to support and what is not.
2097  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: How to find a team for a project? on: November 25, 2019, 10:25:42 AM
Hello,

my question is basically, how to find a team for a project if an idea is already there and a concept written.
Maybe here is someone who has the experience and already a running project and have some tips how to find a good team and start the project.

Thanks in advance for your responses and tips.
Personally I prefer for serious projects it's better to find people in real life (to be able to meet them). Also it depends on where you live cause in small countries/cities it's pretty easy. You may find websites of developers, call them, offer them your proposal and etc.
Also you can use HR websites and ask candidates to send CV where you'll choose the one you like from sent works/projects, introduce them your idea in overall and offer payment (I know that's hard but usually without guaranteed fixed payment, no one is going to follow offered proposal).

That's true and I agree, so he can size up the capability of the potential team member, or they should do meet up and conferences, team members should prove that they deserve to be in the team not only by showing their resume but by giving them a sample of their works, so investors can assure that the project that they are investing is here for a long term.
2098  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you have control or not? on: November 25, 2019, 03:27:52 AM
Can you consciously and willingly stop gambling at any time?
If you can do the above, you have great control and discipline, of course you are not an addict and you deserve to gamble as much as you want.
If not, clarify your ways of stopping gambling.

People who cannot control themselves in a small thing, should not gamble at all. I have full control of myself when it comes to gambling, in fact, I practice control on all kind of vices, money is very important to me, I need to control money how I accumulate it and how I spend it.
2099  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: China vowed to "slash" crypto exchanges, bitcoin prices plummeted. on: November 24, 2019, 01:27:37 PM
In a recent statement, the People's Bank of China (PBoC) said that illegal crypto exchanges in China would not have a living land.

Specifically, the PBoC warned that it would take specific action against illegal crypto exchanges in the country and review all transactions involving cryptocurrencies and bitcoin.

PBoC is committed to handling and controlling cryptocurrency trading activities in China. Indicate that individuals and organizations who have illegal cryptocurrency trading activities will be handled according to the law.

The move by the PBoC is thought to be in response to the wave of strong investment in cryptocurrencies in the past few days in China, since Chinese President Xi Jinping voiced support for Blockchain making the delivery operations Cryptocurrency outbreak in China is booming.

In addition, to avoid misunderstandings as well as to restrain the increase of cryptocurrency activity The Chinese government recently had to reassert "Blockchain, not cryptocurrency".

Perhaps this is the explanation for the sharp decline in Bitcoin prices in recent days.

Do people have any comments on this?

There's nothing we can do it, we cannot pressure them, they are a powerful country, but there's a fake report that they close Binance office in China which is not new, maybe because they are going to launch their own coin and they have a plan to get it listed in Binance, this impact is jsut temporary, the report that they do not want Bitcoin has been existing for so many years and yet it has no impact on Bitcoin.
2100  Economy / Economics / Re: Your Source of Investment Money? on: November 24, 2019, 06:01:18 AM
Capital is one of the main reason why other people have hard time on making investment with cryptocurrency. They do not knpw where they will get funds for them to start investing. Savings and salary can be a good source of capital. My capital is from the salary that I got from my day job and I using it in investing in the market.

That's true if a guy just come in the community and he sees some coins with good potential and of course the top coins in the market, it's a challenge for him if he is a daily wage earner, he must find a way, and look for other sources of income, for him to invest on the coins that he wants to invest.
