3061  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Am I the only one who thinks markets are behaving strange right now? on: June 03, 2017, 02:20:03 PM
The market is not what it used to be. I think people here are looking at it from a standpoint of a a year or two ago where just a few people traded crypto now all kinds of new money is going into crypto, wall street people, gold bugs, even girls I know who didn't or where interested in what a bitcoin was until recently.

Yes, the market has seen an immense grows but the entire volume is still tiny compared to the stock market, some companies are worth more than the entire crypto market. And the prices for bitcoin and altcoins do not represent their worth of today but are an investment into a future which might unfold.

And it looks like there won't be the ONE crypto in the future but many. Of course, a lot of them will go up but will also go down as fast.

Spot on.

And recently sources like Bloomberg are talking about the gains of Altcoins. Not surprised if readers are then immediately searching how to buy in.

"Cryptocurrency Mania Goes Beyond Bitcoin"

https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2017-05-24/cryptocurrency-mania-goes-beyond-bitcoin-as-altcoins-lead-gains

I also don’t agree with the rhetoric that all coins except of BTC are worthless because you can’t pay anywhere with them. You can’t pay anywhere with gold, either. The price reflects what people are willing to pay and you can purchase something with that with by exchanging it first. Just like with gold.

There is a lot of work on making marketplaces for other coins, like Particl, Bitbay, and so on.  I think there is a section here where people are selling things for other coins.  It used to be that the Earthcoin site had a big marketplace where people could buy things with Earthcoin.  Other coin devs have done the same.  It will grow if people keep talking about it and offering it.
3062  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: There are absolutely no good values out there anymore on: June 03, 2017, 01:51:31 PM
Day trading really kill the momentum of each coin. They only think for themselves to earned a small profit and didn't care if they are destroying the crypto.

That's just a stereotype of some people who do it.  It's a morally neutral profession.  Buy low and sell high is how things work.  As long you are honest and encouraging, what's wrong with it?
3063  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Next XtraBytes... on: June 03, 2017, 01:45:56 PM
Noblecoin is rising.  It's still super cheap.  I downloaded the wallet and now it's staking.  Old coin with good community.
3064  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: There are absolutely no good values out there anymore on: June 03, 2017, 01:42:45 PM
Good mutual funds return about 10 - 15%.  You can't beat that daytrading in this market?  Get rich quick attitudes are foolish.
3065  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Next XtraBytes... on: June 02, 2017, 08:30:34 PM
I have been involved with a bunch of these in the last three months.  There are still possibilities.  The thing about mentioning coins is that you don't want someone to invest a lot because it's all just speculation.  Such coins that have done well in the last three months should be obvious and there have been about ten.  I just bought some IXCoin which is from 2011, but it was after the last rise.  The Dev team looks good so I'm having a little faith.  Bitbean has always been good for a cyclical pump, and Tatoocoin standard edition may be a longer term hold.

Hello
Where can I get Noble's wallet for Windows or online that is POS enabled?!

Thanks

Download .zip (Windows):
http://noble.ilikebtc.com/noblecoin-latest.zip

Thanks a lot ..
Installing......

Good to see that more people are downloading the wallet =)

And it started mining almost immediately.

Does the wallet mine or was it just syncing?
3067  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Under 20 Sat with Good Team Speculation on: June 01, 2017, 10:23:20 PM
Noblecoin looks good.

why ? would you like to give me a reason please ,, ?

i see this only trade on cryptopia, maybe another exchange will be good for this coin

The thread has 583 pages.  Once it was a significant coin and has a still active dev/community.  I wouldn't invest a lot in it but I was talking more about a day trading perspective.
3068  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XRP] Ripple Speculation on: June 01, 2017, 07:03:55 PM

insanely researched / detailed 👍

Thanks, an amazing article.  Should be spread around.
3069  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Alt Bubble Popped? on: June 01, 2017, 06:49:05 PM
OP of the thread is from 9th May. That's a while before the huge bubble started and some people then thought that alt prices will crash. This shows us that an actual bubble can occur at any time and I don't see a reason we won't see one again as soon as in a few days.

Hold on to your alts, this is all going to turn out to be a continuous upward trend with regular pumps and dumps but in the end the coins keep most of the ground they've earned. By the same time next year your coins will probably be worth several times what they are now.

It looks like the alt coin bubble is burst as well. The only alt coin worth holding right now is ETH. I saw it just broke the $200 barrier so it looks like it is still good. However, its currently red, so a lot of dumping of ETH is ongoing. I don't know if this is the start of the dumping of it because the price has peak now. Will try to hold still and see what happens.

How are you arriving at that?  Are you following the charts?  Every day there have been 20 or more coins that rise 20% or more.   Today is no different.  The total marketcap of all coins went from 75 billion to 85 billion in the last week.
3070  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Self-Mining Wallets on: June 01, 2017, 04:35:39 PM
Anyone know of any of these?  I made about $250 from Pascal in the early days finding four blocks with its wallet.  I read that Noblecoin has a self-mining wallet.  Are there any others?

Hi, I would like to help out.  I admire your BOAT project.

I downloaded the wallet just now and it has stopped on me twice.  When I cursor over to the tray on the second attempt, when the cursor hit it, it vanished.  I'm looking in task manager and it's not up.

I haven't rebooted my machine for about a week now, I'll do that and try again.

Note: rebooted and looks stable and syncing fine.  Deposited some Rain into it and it got it.
3072  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Under 20 Sat with Good Team Speculation on: June 01, 2017, 02:33:31 PM
Thanks for the due diligence.  It was on Poloniex then got thrown out with the others but saw the thread is active.  It seems to be the smallest one of the Poloniex lot that was delisted.  It has a half million marketcap.  I know people posted some FUD and some good things about the delisted coins.  It has a working wallet that mines, from what I've read.  It is nice when coins retain some of their price on rising.
3073  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Under the radar coins poised to make a huge leap... on: June 01, 2017, 02:07:17 PM
Which coins that are pretty down on the list due to reasons such as creation date, lack of press/attention, etc are poised to make a big leap forward in the coming months. These are coins not in the top 50 of CMC

Xtrabytes maybe? What do you all think?

I just made 300% last few days on Xtrabytes but I"m afriad the run up might end I took a bunch of profits already and left some if it keeps going but I'm not sure I would say 50/50 on that one it's hard to say.

Leaving some is the key.  That's how the passive income is generated.  If one is always trading, that's always working.

Last month I made a killing on one went 25000% in 2 months I sold 75% left the rest, but I have half a dozen winners and 50% loosers but I'm up 500% at least for May it was a good month!

One thing to learn is many members here are liers and hate the truth, so you have to learn who is evil and ignore them that was the hardest thing to learn to no listen to them and only listen to truth people (minority). That is what helped me.

Good luck and ignore liers.

Thanks.  I know, some people here have lost others perhaps thousands of dollars because of their FUD and attacking good teams and projects.
But in the end, people who listen to them can only blame themselves.

3077  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Syndicate Speculation on: May 31, 2017, 11:50:27 PM
CMC shows this is up 450%.  Bittrex is slow in showing those gains, maybe means can still buy?  Yobit and Cyrptopia already showing a massive jump in price.  Been aware of this coin for a while, looks good.

when i write this, the price of syndicate on bittrex is about 0.00003342 BTC and yobit 0.00011000BTC
why the price is different, you can buy more than 3 coin on bittrex for 1 coin on yobit..

Yes, that's arbitrage.  You have low volume on smaller exchanges, so someone wants all the coins, and there is more of a demand.
You can then transfer the coins off that exchange if the price to sell is too low.

Be careful, don't fall in the bear trap, if you aren't green don't panic sell, this bull run isn't over yet, but you may want to reduce your alt exposure on the rebound.

Totally agree with your words. Only a bear trap!

Yes, I set some sell orders lower than what I would have liked in hindsight and it shot right through them.

3080  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] LiteDoge - such Community coin | no premine | very fast | much profit on: May 31, 2017, 06:10:59 PM
Woow litedoge will grow fast. Give it a month and we are all happy  Smiley

Maybe it will do so. As long as there is dedication from the community and development team, nothing could go wrong for LiteDoge. It is very inexpensive, making it a great cryptocurrency for micropayments, while at the same time it allows you to earn rewards by holding onto your coins for the long term.

Most recently, PoSWallet announced the delisting of LDOGE from their platform, which makes me wonder why since this coin has a nice community and support from it. But still, even if it gets delisted there and maybe we'll miss the advantage of staking in the cloud, there is always the option to go for VPS staking or at your own home.

I'm hoping to see big things happen for LDOGE within the next months. If all goes well, LiteDoge will survive for many years to come. Just my opinion.  Smiley

POSWallet delisted many good quality coins.
