I'll be the first to admit I don't understand all there is to know about BTC mining/pools.   So, if a block was hit, there would still be overlap in your account that you would need to wait until the next block to collect?   I was just trying to get a conversation going because the hash rate has been pretty low and not sure that at these odds it was still probable to hit another one.

yep  this is the only pool with the overlap method.

so if we hit today.

the top guy would overlap  to say six coins I would overlap to 1 for each of my 2 accounts

so between us we would be leaving more then 8 coins on the table

so for me  if we hit today  and mined for 2 more blocks  or 1 more block  I could adjust.

this pool had a nice system but never got the support it deserves .

If we had a steady 5ph we would be a great pool.  it would be around a block every 6 or 7 days.

Well, it was a great system for the time but times have changed.  Maybe something that can be re-arranged that would be more fair the miners due to the current difficulty.

This coin needs a new coin icon.  The current one looks unprofessional and low res.  How about a new shiny one with a tantalizing feel to it?

So the masterminds trash a good team probably because they are patient and know in two years the coin will pump and they'll be holding bags.
I'm not a conspiracy theorist but this one seems good.

The next airdrop will be held 30/05/2017. The published snapshot will be compared to a snapshot on 29/05/2017.
All balances that match or pass the amount needed as if you still holded all coins since the first airdrop will receive 450 RIDDLE
Balances that sold their RIDDLE will be excluded from the next round.

Looking forward to +450 RIDDLE TODAY!

I didn't sell any....so I guess I'm in for this airdrop.  Do we have to do anything special to qualify for it?

The difficulty to find blocks seemed to have changed about three months ago.  I was no longer receiving payments mining with my S3 at Kano.is.  This is probably the case across the board. Maybe a lot of small miners have stopped mining BTC for something more profitable.  It almost looks impossible to find a block now at MMPool.  Maybe a consensus to find one more block then give up?

I like the idea about free payment network.  BTC fees are very high.  If BK has some money/connections, who is to say this coin won't go into development again?  Is this company a BK asset that he is just sitting on?  Anyone know what he has done or said in the last three months about Nautiluscoin?

So I guess the latest riddle is that huge tidex dump? I hope it's not the dev funds that were dumped...

Nope it's not.

As you can see, the community is pretty pi$$ed off that 648k was dumped on DEX, and according to a previous post after a movement from your account. I can understand the upset because people get 1 coin here 250 there, 13 here and 1000 there. Yet, in one go someone gets dumped on 648k completely in contrast to the spirit of the project. So far the riddles have been fun and the distribution a fresh breeze. However the dump killed off the spirit and dampened the atmosphere.

There have been many riddles to the community. Here is another riddle from the community to you. Your answer to the riddle will determine how the community views the project.

"648k dumpeth thee, on a wild extravagant shopping spree
648k where cometh from thee as it wasnt me
but who could it be? Please solve the mystery"

It's kind of like the setting for one of those mysteries in the old haunted mansions.....a lot of questions but that makes it more interesting.

This is fun but not uncommon to see the usual FUD.  Dev shouldn't want to feel left out.

I don't see why it can't reach again the highs it's already achieved.   What is so different about the world now compared to two months ago?
3092  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Whales are starting cashing out... on: May 30, 2017, 07:45:53 AM
Marketcap is at 79 billion now.  At the top, it was around 84 billion.
3093  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Trading on BTC38 on: May 29, 2017, 04:36:56 PM
I think I figured it out.  You sell BTC there and it sells to CNY, not dollar.
3094  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Trading on BTC38 on: May 29, 2017, 04:35:23 PM
I like to trade the Poloniex coins but since they are unwilling to pay a Washington State licensing fee, I can no longer trade there until they do.  So, the only place that sells Reicoin is BTC38, but they have most of their coin trades based on CNY, which I gather is China Yen.  I have deposted my BTC there, and I'm wondering how to get CNY there.

Does anyone know anything about trading there?

I personally don't care about this but people could deposit small amounts to stake but can't get them out because they don't reach the minimum? .0003 BTC....that's going to hurt a lot of people in developing countries who had to go through all the crazy faucet captchas.  And what will happen to the huge user base's coins that don't reach the .0003 BTC?  That's going to be a chunk of change for POSwallet.  They should change that policy if they have their ducks in a row now.

Hello
Yes, generally you cant withdraw any coin of value less than  .0003 BTC. But it seems, in case of delisting you can withdraw any amount of coin regardless value. check please

No, that's not true.  I tried it.   You can't withdraw delisted coins of any value that's below .0003, which is a lot for a beginner's faucet earnings or staking when you are very diversified.

3099  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How to trade in this market? on: May 28, 2017, 04:51:17 AM
Just try to buy and sell some of the shitcoins with low market cap you will see that it's not that easy the gap is huge and most of that gain is by a sigle or very few pumpers who are then waiting for bag holders to jump in so they can rape their wallet.

Yes, its very easy to throw away a few bucks this way.  Was more looking for the diamond in the roughs that at least get to a couple of hundred satoshis from nothing.  It's interesting also watching the birth pangs of some of these coins, and how unexpected things might happen.  I'm also looking to mine some to see if I can find some blocks.  The ones that go up and down a few times and have better teams are interesting to watch at the early stages.
3100  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Is BTC's high fees one reason why people trade with other coin "bases"? on: May 28, 2017, 01:08:33 AM
I am in several exchanges and noticed a coin that I wanted to buy was in an exchange I'm not currently on.  But the fee for sending BTC there is so high that I'm wondering if is this why some exchanges have different coins to buy and sell with?   Like you can buy coins with LTC, Doge, Espers, etc.

Seems like it's time to do more business with alts. These BTC fees are very high for making small payments here and there.
