3121  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is not just a currency, but represents a new human civilization on: July 08, 2021, 02:31:56 PM
Hello everyone, I am glad to communicate with you in the Bitcointalk forum. I am Kun from the east of the world. I have learned a lot from this forum, thank you all. Although I have not been exposed to Bitcoin for a long time, I have become a strong believer in Bitcoin. I am a Bitcoin maxis, and I am awakened by Satoshi Nakamoto.

In the next two to three months, I will officially launch a blockchain DAO project, which I call Rainbow City. But before that, I want to communicate with you on Bitcointalk. I want to get more inspiration and thinking from your gays, and I also want to meet friends from different countries in the world, study together, and communicate together.

I know that Bitcointalk is where Satoshi Nakamoto started Bitcoin, and it is also a gathering place for Bitcoin believers. So, I also hope to start my new career here. During the time I joined the forum, I saw old users in the forum answer questions to rookies every day, and I was very encouraged. It is precisely because of this unreserved help that the Bitcoin community has grown and expanded its consensus around the world.

In order to learn better, I also want to share my thoughts on Bitcoin in the forum and communicate with everyone.

Bitcoin is not just a coin, but a new civilization of human.

I named it Bit Civilization.

Bitcoin gave the people a whole new level of satisfaction and convenience. The blockchain technology, its features, and functionalities are the strong suits of the future. Bitcoin has been recognized as a medium of exchange and a store of value for how many years already. It has proven its potential and many people can testify to strengthen it. The process and progress of bitcoin development may really be acknowledged as a start of new civilization already. Several eras have passed and today, we are using the recent blockchain technology that is far ahead secured compared to what normal institutions and organizations use. However, before we really state and declare a new civilization we need to outgrow the former ways used. The advancement is very much essential. The development of way of living should be attained. In this case, we can't totally say we have moved to new civilization that bitcoin has created, but we're few steps before it. Cashless mode of payment and other more advanced and modern ways must be practiced and implemented.

Nonetheless, I hope your launching of Rainbow City will be successful. Really looking forward to seeing and reading your work!
3122  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency is the biggest investment opportunity in the future on: July 08, 2021, 01:36:36 PM
Cryptocurrency is indeed the biggest investment opportunity in the future. Crypto has proved itself over the past years already and is still proving its potential to generate income and earnings up until today. Certainly, in the future it will be very useful investment that can save our funds because it is safer to inflation compared to fiat money. Crypto has made a lot of millionaires already by just having a capital, knowledge, and nice strategy in investing. In crypto, there's a high opportunity to gain, but the risk is high as well. However, you can minimize the risk by studying its nature.

Cryptocurrency is normally volatile. It's value goes up and high at any time of the day. And any people planning to enter crypto must know that. Volatility is what makes crypto a speculative asset. Despite this, many investors are still eyeing on it because crypto has so many benefits and offers array of opportunities to earn that local financial institutions can't afford to offer to anyone.
3123  Economy / Economics / Re: Which cryptocurrency do you decide to invest in for the long-term? on: July 08, 2021, 01:01:02 PM
I am a newbie who has just entered the currency circle, and I am very interested in the crypto market.
I want to try to buy some coins, but now I lack the analysis and judgment of the crypto market. Which cryptocurrency is more valuable and has appreciation potential?

For a newbie, I suggest before investing, you must study first the history of cryptocurrency in general. Read about the cryptocurrency's nature, the do's and don'ts before entering. You must first know the basics and fundamentals before risking because crypto is already known as a risky investment, but it will be riskier if you'll dive into it without proper knowledge about it. One must know the simple background and the strategies in order to understand the complex things later on. You can watch video tutorials on YouTube so that you can have the gist and grasp the knowledge imparted to you fully.

But to answer, my personal picks were bitcoin, etherium, and BNB. These coins really showed potential over the years and most likely their price will soar as well in the future. Do your research first. Ask your friends that are into crypto for suggestions. They may be of help, but don't rely on them alone. You must still do your part.
3124  Economy / Economics / Re: What role will Bitcoin play in the face of superpowers in the future? on: July 08, 2021, 12:19:38 PM
I have known Bitcoin for a while, and I think I understand the value and significance of Bitcoin. But from an economic point of view, I would like to know what role Bitcoin will play in the face of superpowers like China and the United States in the future.

El Salvador has adopted Bitcoin as its country's legal tender. Panama, Colombia and Uruguay also seem to be interested in Bitcoin. Indeed, for some countries that have been unable to control their own economic development through macro-control, Bitcoin gives them another choice. When the volatility of fiat currency in one's own country has far surpassed that of Bitcoin, the biggest shortcoming of Bitcoin as a fiat currency no longer exists. This is a success in the history of Bitcoin, but how about superpower?

Now, the United States regards Bitcoin as an investment asset. China allows Bitcoin to be held but prohibits mining and trading. The world's largest and second-largest economies have very different attitudes towards Bitcoin. But as we all know, Satoshi Nakamoto's definition of Bitcoin is "A Peer-to-Peer Electronic Cash System", and now people seem to be more inclined to define it as a reserve asset or a price anchor. But for the superpower, neither of these two definitions seems impossible. If Bitcoin is used as a currency for daily use, it will undoubtedly destroy the status of the RMB or the US dollar. If Bitcoin is used as a store of value similar to gold, due to the decentralization of Bitcoin, it is difficult to hoard a large amount of Bitcoin together. I am not a student of economics, and Bitcoin seems to be of little use to the current economic system.

I guess that in the coming decades, more and more African or Latin American countries will tend to use Bitcoin as their legal currency, which can help them resist the erosion of the US dollar. However, the Super Congress insisted on issuing its own legal currency and controlling its exchange rate with Bitcoin. I guess that for China, the final result may be to ask the public to hand over its bitcoin to the country and give it the equivalent value of CNY.

IMO, governent and financial institutions wouldn't really fit into bitcoin's nature. These organizations won't just even be put in a sentence because they uphold different principles and nature in general. Bitcoin has a decentralized nature while financial institutions such as banks is the total opposite of it. Meanwhile, government is usually the one against the legality of bitcoin in their country. Hence, asking the role of bitcoin in superpower nations sounds ridiculous to me.

The government, particularly of the first-world countries wouldn't accept bitcoin open-arms like how we want to view it. Bitcoin is often scrutinized nowadays due to the various issues associated with it. That is why most countries aren't really in favor of making it legal on their place. Sure, there are several countries that decided to give it a try and make bitcoin legal, but we can't always assume it would go that way in every country. The government will not allow bitcoin to take over, most especially it has decentralized nature that they will not be able to control nor manipulate because they hate that.
3125  Economy / Economics / Re: The first rule of investing is saving on: July 08, 2021, 11:46:20 AM
I totally agree. Saving must be the first thing to do before investing in any investment vehicle. You must have enough money stored in case of emergency before diving and risking into any investment platforms. Emergency fund is a must before looking into diverisification of investment fund. Because if ever you'll prioritize your investment without back up savings, you'll end up having nothing when your investment fails. So it is really much better to have a savings first, then after fulfilling your savings fund, go and invest in your trusted platform.

Anyone must always be prepared of the inevitable and unexpected events. It is suggested to have a savings that's good for 6 months worth of your expenses to cover unfortunate events. One must have enough money to fund several weeks or months being jobless and having no any other source of income. Investment provides higher opportunity to earn compared to saving alone, but also remember that surviving is essential; if your investment go downhill, you will have no other option to sustain your needs unless you have a savings account.
3126  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online gambling becomes popular on: July 07, 2021, 02:34:57 PM
The online casino market has now been of great interest, especially during the pandemic
Well, one of the proofs is the coming of new gambling websites on this very forum, running their campaigns, gigs, promotions to get more users. Almost every 3 months I guess, there's a new casino/gambling campaigns poofing in the services board.

I noticed that one too. The pandemic is a good blessing for the existing online gambling websites before the pandemic, and also for those who have quickly throught that online transactions would become big during the community quarantines and lockdowns that prohibits people from going outside.
I also noticed many more gambling website promotion and advertising going in for long term. The market competition on online gambling is really tight, and it seems that they're actually profiting a good amount of money.

They are indeed getting some good revenue as people are mostly engage on online activities which do includes gambling and you are right that online gambling sites are the businesses that did really
benefit out on this pandemic situation despite of this hard scenario we are on there are still who do make more revenue or seeing this as a positive situation for them but well lets just accept the reality.

When the time comes that everybody could go outside and theres already a cure to the virus or the vaccine which cant affect humans anymore then we would see the normalized trend.

People would switch back into those things that they had been engaging before specially to those gamblers whom do love on playing with physical casinos.

I guess they won't switch back because this is the new normal for us, COVID-19 will coexist with us but we're immuned to it already thanks to the vaccine (if we're fully vaccinated) that's why wearing a mask would be optional in the future. This pandemic made us realized some things, and that is there's a lot of opportunities online on how to earn money (if you're luck enough in gambling) but not just gambling of course.

People would stick to online gambling because it's less hassle for them and they can do it secretly from their families.
3127  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Be a Responsible Gambler on: July 07, 2021, 01:16:51 PM
It is better to use the money from the loan to create a business because you will have a chance to make money from that
Basically, to loan money both for gambling and a business in real life isn't recommended. You are better to wait for having sufficient money to start a business. Especially for gambling, it is better to avoid. There is no guarantee of success, instead of high risk to lose big money. We don't need to force ourselves to gamble or start a business if we have no enough money yet.
~

You are right about gambling but wrong about business. The truth is that 99.99% of people will never have "free" money to start a business - all the money is spent on life and important stages of life. Therefore, if people follow your advice, then this vast majority of people will never open a business, but this is wrong, because if they have the necessary knowledge, experience and competence, then opening a business is a much more reliable investing than gambling.

Well, both have risk to be honest, the only difference is that the risk in starting a business is much lower than gambling, however, if you don't have any idea how to run a business like how to make profits in gambling, then surely in the end you'll lose all the money you got from loan.

So the idea is to do whatever you know how to work things out to avoid getting so much debt from loan or getting bankrupt because you started a business or playing gambling without any plans at all. I mean, you're not going anywhere.
3128  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What does it take for a game to "hook" people on: July 07, 2021, 12:21:14 PM
The difference is that you seek good graphics and gameplay in videogames, while in gambling, you seek thrill and money, while you're challenging the house with your gameplay which is basically nothing to do with how you play on videogames. Gambling site games doesn't requires good graphics because what we're after is the result, not the UI and graphics, as long as it could present a good picture on how to play it, it'll do.
3129  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: It takes years to build a reputation and seconds to break it on: July 07, 2021, 11:21:48 AM
Scamming is really normal in a big business, at first they will catch you attention and they will really do their best just to trust them and if they already know that there are already a lot of people that is trusting them and they already have the money that was invested for them then that would be the time for them to scam people, do not fall for it always do some research to avoid getting scam.
and they will even spend big amount of money just to get our trust , sometimes they will build the name for long time and then will break it just for short chances.

And also these happens upon desperation , when the gambling site is experiencing lowering income and they starts to feel the pressure of the business? then they will act inappropriately so they will still make money even if they lose their credibility .

I agree to this.

Most likely this will happen when a gambling site doesn't have any license, they could do anything illegal since for sure, the people they have used on their team are not even legit, so they have the guts to runaway whenever they feel to do so, like what you have said, when they are not earning good anymore.

But if a certain gambling site do have a licence and SEC registered, I guess their only option is just to shutdown their business if they are not making any good bankroll.
3130  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Where to seek help if you need; concerned with gambling addiction. on: July 06, 2021, 03:38:10 PM
Gambling addiction is even worse than drugs. You wonder why? Because while drug addiction hurts you physically, gambling addiction will slowly work on your mental health and wipe out your funds so it hurts both ways. You will think about gambling all day, you will lose interest in life and all those things are way worse than drugs.
I do not know, I do not think that it is easy to tell which addiction is any worse as both are terrible, drug addiction will also deplete your funds and since the psychical need is so extreme in the case of drugs those people have a tendency to commit violent crimes to keep financing their habit, and it also has a huge impact on the mental health of the individuals that go through it precisely due to all the things they need to do to keep their addiction going, so I think it is better to just admit that both are bad instead of trying to look at which one is worse than the other.

Drug addiction is much worst in my opinion.

Gambling addiction might affect you financially and emotionally at some point but drug addiction will destroy your whole human being. It will destroy your family, relationship, funds, and your health, it will slowly kill you physically and literally (for example is that you make a lot of enemies because of drugs) and one day you've been killed because of it.

Gambling addiction is just 7/10 when it comes to danger while drug addiction is 10/10 in my opinion.

I was a gambler, and posting here in gambling discussion doesn't mean I only do it for my signature campaign but I do it because I want to share my opinion that might help someone to solve his problem regarding about gambling addiction and so on. I like posting here because I can relate to most of the threads here and some threads here are really interesting enough to join in the discussion.

It's all natural I guess to share our experiences and opinion to everyone of us here in this forum to grow and learn from people who are already experience what others don't experience yet.
3132  Economy / Economics / Re: Pandemic was just a start of chaos, wars, or becoming zombies! on: July 06, 2021, 02:09:43 PM
Indeed, this pandemic has brought a lot of chaos all over the world. Many conflicts arose and still arise up until today. Most countries has faced problems in terms of containing the virus and lowering covid cases. Money problems has been also one of the major issues of almost everyone that some government decided to print more money to patch things up. Economy of almost every countries went rock bottom, but others immediately bounced back and the other are now recovering.

Zombies are based from science fiction and based on researches online, there's no reason to be worried about apocalypse like that of movies. Sure, this pandemic has indeed showed that it is possible to have zombie-like symptoms or behaviour. However, zombie apocalypse in real life is impossible to happen. Only that of clinically diagnosed with disease can exhibit zombie traits. Although I assume what you meant here was exhibiting zombie characteristics as well as the time span of spread of the virus is like that of zombies - very contagious the moment one person contacted the virus, another people would be susceptible to it.

3133  Economy / Economics / Re: Will banking system in Bangladesh collapse? on: July 06, 2021, 01:27:34 PM
Due to pandemic, there’s lockdown going on here. People are more likely to withdraw fund from Bank while rate of deposit is decreasing now. On a side note, default loan has been alarming here.
I was looking for cash out BDT from mobile banking but I had to look for a long area to find out a mobile banking agent. I felt like I should cash out more money than I need for now because it’s possible that there will be no agent opening their shop.
The same will also happen with the banking system if situation get severe which possibly will be soon. And if the lockdown continues for months, won't bank have hard time maintaining deposit and withdraw?
What do you think? Is it possible that if lockdown continues, banking system will collapse here?

Lockdowns really made the people go panic buying, withdrawing, and loaning. It is really hard to be in a city wheareas the time to go outside and do what you have to do is very limited. Hence, most people just opt to buy in bulk and withdraw at once. The majority who has the means of withdrawing their hard-earned money are doing it because it's really hard to go outside every time. It is also difficult to risk your health everytime you'll run some errands.

Regarding bank issues, I think the greater percentage of money borrowed by the citizens than the deposited money in a bank will cause a problem. If the banks will not impose a collateral for every loans made by its users, they will surely have a large problem later on. Imbalance of funds may occur if continuous loans and withdrawal will be made. Soon after, they won't be able to sustain the demands because they will be short of funds. Bank collapse can possibly happen if the transactions were not regularized properly. There's also a big chance that the government's debt will surge due to volume of aid needed to be distributed. I just really hope that Bangladesh's governement will not look on excessive printing of money because it can cause a lot more problem such as inflation, which can damage their economy even more.
3134  Economy / Economics / Re: The slave does not dream of freedom, but of being the slave-master on: July 06, 2021, 12:46:36 PM
This is a sentence I recently heard on a TV series I was watching that made me think of my own stance in life. Am I striving to become the master of slaves?  Perhaps those who climb the corporate ladder think in those terms? Are we creating our own cryptocurrency just to be our own masters or are we actually seeking to become the new masters of the new slaves? BTW I am very interested in knowing if this is a quote from anyone famous or just part of the script.

It really depends on someone's perspective in life. Being a 'slave' is often used figuratively speaking describing the status, rank, or work nature of a person in a society. During this modern times, being a slave is usually comparable to being a laborer that is underpaid by his employer. And typically, these people don't really desire to be the new master of the new slaves because they have experienced what is it like to be the lowest of low and do the hardest of hard to even dream of passing the burden and hardship they have felt to other people.

IMO, the so-called slaves are usually contented and the thing that they want is to earn enough to sustain their necessities in life; not to pass the difficulties. They aspire to have a comfortable life like any other, but does not really dream high to the point they would like to be in the position of the higher ups that manage workers. These people are okay with what they have as long as it brings food onto their table and making the ends meet at the very least. The usual people who have always dreamt to be on top and become a master of the slaves were often the rich and wealthy ones.

Maybe there are some 'slaves' that want to climb to the top. But I think their usual goal is to become a 'leader' and not just a 'master'. A leader that can be depended and look upon and is inspirational to achieve oneself's goal.
3135  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: You got a pifzer ? Then you can be eligible for lottery in Poland. on: July 05, 2021, 02:23:39 PM
Here is my opinion regarding about this matter.

People first doesn't want to get vaccinated, because they are afraid of its side effects in the long run, but the Government made a price so they are now willing to be vaccinated. I don't know if it is really safe to get the free vaccine because I don't know which is which who's getting the benefits out of it, I mean, looks like the Government is forcing us to take it.

Here in our country, there are some cases that people who got vaccinated suffered already its side effects which is very alarming, like having a fever, numbing your whole body, having a hard time to breathe, etc.. So for me, I guess it's not worth it to be vaccinated out of your will just to get a free lottery ticket.
3136  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Economic Costs of Gambling on: July 05, 2021, 01:12:13 PM
Why do they allow gambling to such extent when they already know how expensive it can be to the society? Why to allow casinos at the first place? It is because governments collect hefty taxes from this industry in order to let it run, the same goes to drugs and alcohol. If we expect the change, we need to be the change and start taking the first step so to let addicted gamblers come back under the category of normal gamblers who know and understand their limits.

While taxes play a large part in government and they will do many things to try and raise the tax income of the country. We also need to think about the people that want to gamble, or the people that enjoy drinking and smoking. Just because something is harmful for us doesn't mean it should be banned. For example, every year during summer people are drowning swimming in lakes and rivers. Should therefore swimming be banned? Same goes for gambling, most people can gamble reasonably without getting addicted, or drinking only on weekends without becoming an alcoholic.

We all have different perceptions to this matter, I get your point and it's also need to consider, there are people who can enjoy gambling without getting addicted and enjoy drinking without being labelled as addicted to alcohol.

People who knows how to limit themselves are those who are responsible enough to continue doing this kind of activities.

And on taxes, government both straight and corrupts are leaning to this side of market / industry knowing that it provides a good amount of collections, which we called sin taxes.

The Government is not the one to blame for this, it's one of our nature as a human being, we like to play gambling and gamble, so instead of preventing us, the Government tax it instead of shutting it down to profit both parties. Government needs tax for the development of a certain country and citizens needs an adequate community to live in.

It's a win win situation, let's just admit that some people really likes to play gambling and some people doesn't really want it, but it's okay, we have our own hobbies.
3137  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Be a Responsible Gambler on: July 05, 2021, 12:18:51 PM
Well i can feel that , because if you are a true responsible person then you will never consider playing or betting in gambling as this is risky and not really created for making fun but to lose our funds .
i don't believe those who claims that gambling is designed for Fun instead the other way around.
It is okay to consider betting as much as you can. But to consider someone is truly responsible is that he sets an amount that he afford to lose and will be careful with his bets that he won't be affectionate with whatever the outcome of that bet. Gambling is already known to be risky so someone who's getting in is aware of that and would probably made his decision that he's willing to take the risk.

I agree, somehow.

I mean, being responsible indeed means you will never consider betting or gambling as a way to earn money or to have a source of entertainment, but if you do have the wealth then why not. Being a responsible gambler means a lot, as you have mentioned, setting a certain amount of money that can afford to lose is one of it, one thing I'll add more is how you control yourself, on how you'll react in every winnings and losing, because that's important to prolong your funds.

You need to be constantly have the same decision on both (winning on losing) for example is betting the exact amount of money whether you win or lose.
3138  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Recognizing Gambling Disorders, Symptoms of Severe Gambling Addiction on: July 05, 2021, 11:06:41 AM
I hate friends who are an addict on gambling because as a responsible gambler myself I have seen how gambling can ruin one man's future and reputation, I will them him right away to stop and get professional help if he doesn't listen then it's no use to continue our friendship, I hate to see a friend ruining his life because of gambling.

You don't need to hate them instantly, first you have to warn them about the effects of their addiction and how they can cure it, if they doesn't care, then just simply ignore them and avoid to prevent yourself on being addictive as well, because having friends like them really isn't a good thing.

What I mean is a avoid them when they are playing gambling, but if you guys are just hanging out to have some bonding, I guess there's nothing to worry about that. You don't need to end your friendship or your relationship to them, respect their choices and make your own too.
3139  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Be a Responsible Gambler on: July 03, 2021, 04:29:13 AM
Bet ,but don't gamble.
A Responsible Person doesn't take big risk or gamble
Is there such a big difference between gambling and betting?
both words can be used in a gambling sentence . for ex. i will gamble or i will bet today on this xxxx.xxx casino but they are spelled differently and for him the other has a different meaning .
he can also say that he will play on xxxx.xxx casino and not use the term gambling or betting because he will only play for fun and not for profit .

The moment you placed a bet, you're already taking a big risk, because no matter what excuses you'll say, gambling is gambling, the risk is unpredictable on how big it is each time you bet, but mostly you're going to lose that bet. Therefore there's no such thing as "bet, but don't gamble" that's ridiculous, betting is when you're playing gambling, simple as that, that's why it's called a "bet" for a reason.

Since you can't control the risk you're taking in gambling, that's where being responsible will enter. Being responsible means you know how much you'll bet and when to stop betting.
3140  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Where to seek help if you need; concerned with gambling addiction. on: July 03, 2021, 02:00:33 AM
~ No matter how small your progress is on quitting your gambling addiction, keep it up, it's still better than doing nothing about it.

~ Maybe only one option out of many is suitable, and that's why it's hard to find it right away, but with enough tries the right solution will be found eventually.
theres many option to fix gambling addiction .
there are browsers extensions and softwaresto install  to prevent you from accesing the online casino and there are self exclusion service within the site itself but the best fix is when you seek for a professional because they have the right tools , space and medicines to help you with your disease . they are not hard not hard to find because we have internet and we can easily search them up online

But browser and software extension that'll keep you away from accessing online casinos are only for temporary, while waiting, it could only increase a gambler's addict urge to play even more gambling, and he could do a way to access online gambling by using another device if he's really desperate. Also, it's very hard to quit when you're not ready to commit on your rehabilitation or being rehabilitate, nothig will change.
