Here in Madison we don't want Gods in our government. We want representation. Judaism, Buddhism, Islam, and Hinduism collectively only make up about 4% of the population. About 20% of Americans are atheists, and growing. I think you will see a lot more of this in the future

Some valid points, yes, but why so afraid to post under your real name rather than a throw away to foster discussion?
What valid point? This is mindless drivel. There are valid risks to point out, these are just plain stupid.

Hi and welcome. As stated by others, The problem may be related to the multi-sig address. Try using a standard address that starts with a 1. Some wallets can't do multi-sig.

Some interesting thoughts OP.
For me this is not a dichotomy. I am a bitcoin fan because it is outside of banks and governments. However, I don't mind banks using it because they can't control it the way dollars are manipulated. Fair money does not not need rules for users, even if the user is a bank.
Yes, that's it! This is a good point. However, the problem comes when something like what we discussed here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1040925.msg11242373#msg11242373 happens. I think I see what you mean. With their spending power a few players could buy a huge % of BTC.? That could happen, but there are forces that work against it. If someone started buying thousands of bitcoins a day it would push the price ever higher. They would be both collecting coins and driving the price. Imagine how high it would go if someone tried buying 10% of the coins. I just don't see it as cost effective. Besides, mine are not for sale. Well... Ok, I'll sell a BTC for $1500.

I think I'll do something. Today I am going to recruit a few women to...
This is a good idea and I have personally done this as well. It needs to be done with all people though like Roger Ver has done. Here is a video of an example- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GLURFKKHDKU Film the interactions so you we can learn from the experiment and see if their are any problems with the UI of the wallets or signup process. Nice one. I'll video or photo it. I'm at work and, although there are a lot of women here, it may take all day. I say that because the first two I asked declined. They were unsure about installing a wallet app and unclear about what BTC is. I did not think giving away money would be this hard.

Wow. Tons of sexist bullshit in this thread.
Pitty them, none of these guys have had a relationship with a women. And the future is not looking bright. I think I'll do something. Today I am going to recruit a few women to use bitcoin. I am going to give away $10 in BTC to ten women. All they have to do is use it. Spend it, donate it, whatever. Since I am aware that all you guys will turn into women for $10 I'll do it in real life.

You sir just time traveled to the future. But not very far. Maybe in 5 years we will all pay this way everyday.

There is only supply and demand. Our wishes or fears about price are in our heads not the market. So the price of a bitcoin is what people are paying. It is never high or low, it is exactly right for that moment. One could "calculate" a price, but if people will not buy or sell at that price it's irreverent.

There are a lot of women in bitcoin now. But you won't see them here with the misogynistic nutaratti.

Not very convenient with Bitcoin Core, considering you'd need to update all of those backups for every 100 new addresses or outbound transactions you make....
What I do is create a storage wallet that only sends to my phone once and a while. Then i spend from my phone. But managing wallets IS a pain in the A$$ sometimes.

The price could also be over 500$ by the end of the year, there is no true way of knowing what will happen..
I think it's weird how many people don't understand that. Speculation is guessing, that's all, guessing. Perhaps it's comforting to think that some guru somewhere can predict the future?
