You might want to go with a secure physical storage as well. I like to place an un-encrypted copy of my cold wallet on a thumb drive then place it in a safe deposit box at the bank. It's one of the few services banks sill have to offer me.

This gives me an idea! (uh-oh) Maybe I should offer the option to receive your trick-or-treat settlement in bitcoin? I think I'll put a sign next to the candy dish.

You are right to consider what should be avoided. Do NOT: -Participate in loans. Most here are scams. -"Invest" in a bitcoin company. Most here are scams. -Believe in someone who claims to know the future. -Use any bitcoin wallet unless you have complete control of the private keys.
DO: -Spend your bitcoin rather than sell them. -Backup your wallet! Very important! -Set up and account at an exchange for buying bitcoin then IMMEDIATELY transfer them to your wallet.
Welcome and cheers!

one rumor + one cup of coffee = exactly one cup of coffee

You really should set up an account at an exchange then fund it. Once that is in place you can get bitcoins any hour you want. Starting from scratch it is unlikely that anyone can safely accept your offer.

I think it's a smart move to diversify. This is still all a social experiment and is far more likely to go away than real estate.

It's impossible that btc will reach 5 or 8 thousands.
I love this. It reminds me of the many people who said "It is IMPOSSIBLE for bitcoins to ever be worth $1".

wow, what a crock. I can't even imagine giving a business this kind of power anymore. Having only used bitcoin for years now, I forgot what a ridiculous system paypal is. Access to my bank account? fricken please.

Who is the escrow? You will need this because without it a seller has absolutely zero protection.
Quite sure, even with escrow seller(of btc) has zero protection I was thinking of an escrow who releases the BTC after the seller has moved the PP from his account. They wont be able to charge back funds that are not in the account anymore. Either way, paypal is not going to help you.

That jives with my experience also. A lot of my coworkers thought of bitcoin as something not understandable for most people. When some of them saw me buy something at lunch, it suddenly became money.

This guy won't use escrow, just contacted him over Facebook, DO NOT TRUST , HE'S A SCAMMER. how you can say i am scammer can you show any evidence It's not you, it's the history of scamming on these forums. People will call you a scammer for refusing escrow. Without it, there is absolutely nothing keeping you from walking off with the money. Even honest dealers MUST use escrow or exchanges to be trusted.

That's pimp, lol Is it sand cast or something?

What is the best options to recharge my PayPal account just by using Bitcoin? I have heard that PayPal is very unfriendly towards BTC and that if they find out about these deals they will most likely freeze your account. any ideas?
Yes. Satoshi and I have an idea. Spend bitcoins instead of PP.
|
|
|
I really hope not. The growth we see now looks consistent with the growth of BTC. If it jumps to $2k then we are in another speculative bubble that WILL pop and bring us back to reality. Then come the endless complaints about how bitcoin "scammed me".

If anybody here feels their coins are tainted, then by all means sell them to me cheap. The next day they will be all mixed up shiny and new. You can then buy them back from me at full value. Your conscience and money will be as pure as math itself.
|
|
|
Selling money cheap? Lol, you are going to get scammed.

Satoshi was not a "person" and never had any plans to stick around. All that she/he/they had to say was said in computer code. When you deliver source code there is really no need to explain anything more.
