3181  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Turkish Super League 2023/24 Season on: September 23, 2023, 12:53:24 PM
Besiktas look like they will have another problematic season. Because their performance against Trabzonspor was really poor and that 3-0 defeat is a really heavy one. They are actually doing really good in the Conference League but they can't play the same when it comes to the Turkish Super League.

They will need to work on this situation otherwise it wouldn't take them too long to fall behind Fenerbahce and Galatasaray in the title race. For now this duo look really powerful and they both have a potential to pull away from the others many weeks earlier than the final moments of the season.
Unfortunately Beşiktaş is far from being productive when they have the ball and plays a slow set play. When the ball is in the opponent's possession the situation is much worse. They lost the last 2 games tactically regardless of the players. For 2 games now, how bad Beşiktaş was on the pitch cannot be explained by the difficulty of the match or individual player performances. Unless radical tactical changes are made, we will go into the half time season break having thrown in the towel for the 3rd year in a row. There have been some big mistakes in transfers this season. The consequences will be very bad for the whole club.
Picking just seven points from four league games to occupy the 10th position of the Turkish Super Lig isn't a good start to the season for a Turkish traditional club like Besiktas. They were thrashed by Trabzonspor last weekend in a game that many believed they were gonna win or get a draw from.
But it's still very early days of the new season which I think gives them the opportunity to immidiately make amends and still end the season on a high. They play at home to Kayserispor tomorrow and a win in that game can serve as a turning point for them
3182  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: September 23, 2023, 12:43:39 PM
Bayer Leverkusen are performing much better this season as they had already beaten RB Leipzig and forced a draw against Bayern Munich in the Bundesliga league. With their current form, I think Bayer Leverkusen should be able to score a victory against Heidenheim with the home advantage.
It is true that if you look at the presentation of Laverkusen chances of almost reaching 80%, it can be said that Xabi Alonso squad will win and regain the top of the standings from VfB Stuttgart. Competition at the top of the Bundesliga standings is getting tighter, and the standings are getting more formed as we enter the fifth week. Bayern Munchen should be careful this season with the addition of Laverkusen as a dark horse, otherwise their dominance will definitely be broken.

The promising 4-0 win in the Europa League against Hacken is very good as a source of confidence, the winning trend will continue I think. Playing at home will be a plus for Laverkusen, Heidenhiem needs great luck to win this match.
Leverkusen has shown good performance since the middle of last season when Xabi Alonso came to manage this team and this has continued until now.
And this season the victory over RB Leipzig and the draw with Bayern show that Xabi Alonso's team is really very strong now and they can be a serious threat in the race for the Bundesliga title this season.
Leverkusen just needs to appear consistent and I'm sure they will be able to break Bayern's dominance to win the Bundesliga title.
And for the match against Heidenhiem this weekend I don't think it will be an obstacle for Leverkusen to win.

That's right, since the arrival of Xabi Alonso as their new coach now Leverkusen has developed quite significantly, last season as the beginning of their journey and which has been very visible how the development of this squad thanks to the handling of Xabi Alonso. Leverkusen's performance is very good in these few matches which is the starting point of the Bundesliga competition, and well I will also say that Leverkusen cannot be underestimated, they are very strong newcomers which of course with their current position is enough to make Tuchel's squad surprised, the draw score between Leverkusen vs Bayern Munich in yesterday's match is enough to make us believe that they are indeed very strong so they can survive with a draw against the defending Bundesliga champions.

It is very clear that the presence of Leverkusen will greatly interfere with Bayern Munich's goal as defending champions to win the trophy again at the end of the season. Well that's right, in Leverkusen's position now it is very possible that they can break the dominance of Bayern Munich as defending champions and all they need is to appear consistent in every next match, although the season is still very long but I hope Xabi will be able to give the best performance from his squad. Oh yeah and I think Leverkusen will easily get full points in the next match against Heidenhiem, that's not an obstacle.
I laughed at a post of someone who said that Bayer Leverkusen isn't a serious contender for the Bundesliga title this season season and would go back the 4th and below positions of the German Bundesliga table very soon.
Xabi Alonso since his appointment as the manager of the club has revamped the club and improved the general performance of the team and from what I've seen so far, they're not just strong candidates for the title in Germany but also in Europe. Despite not a having many popularly known quality players in their squad just like Bayern Munich, I believe that they're gonna put in a good fight for the league title this season
3183  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A weird belief among some gamblers. on: September 23, 2023, 12:37:16 PM
There many weird beliefs that most gamblers does share but the one I find most weird among all their belief that revealing their bets to a third party before the end of the games they staked in will likely stop them from winning the revealed bet hence the decision to always keep it to themselves. They superstitiously believe that if they should reveal their bets to another person, the bad luck that follows that particular person is gonna stop them a possibility of winning such bets and that I find too weird
3184  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: September 23, 2023, 11:30:12 AM
Ten Hag understands that he needs to get out of this losing streak, he needs victories and 13th place is definitely not what they expected to see at the start. Manchester United concede too much, their defense is bad and to be honest I don’t like the way Onana plays. Burnley also do not have the best defense and they conceded even more than Manchester United, so I think that Manchester United will score today, despite the fact that this is an away match, I expect them to score two or more goals, most likely they will also concede.

Manchester United is currently the 3rd team that concedes the most goals in the league. Its opponent is the team that conceded the most goals. With such statistics, I think the match we will watch will be entertaining and with many goals. Burnley is not a team that can score many goals, but they will manage to score against Manchester United. I think Manchester can score at least 2-3 goals. In order to move to the top of the league, they must use the opportunity in such a match efficiently Smiley
If Manchester United really wants to be successful in this very season they must reduce the rate at which they are conceding goals.
There is no club that conceeds such amounts of goal and will contest seriously for any title in that season. Manchester United goalkeeper must also understand the reality that he has arrived in English Premier League, which is one of the most unique league in the whole world. Carefulness should be his watch word while he should stop being unnecessary confidence in his post. Manchester United problem is diverse and little by little it accumulate to a greater fall.
3185  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: September 22, 2023, 11:57:48 PM
Manchester City - Nottingham Forest will be played tomorrow with clear advantage for Citizens. I think they could easily get at least 2 goals advantage.
Tomorrow also Manchester United will face Burnley, well if they fail in this match too then consequences will be bad for the stuff.. ManU need this victory to boost the team and fans psychologically in this unsuccessful starting.
The other 3 games that will be played tomorrow are quite balanced with slight advantage for Brentford and Wolves. Crystal Palace - Fulham is a challenging match and it is hard to predict the winner.

I marked both Manchester will win as you said Manchester City should win easily with all the advantages and Manchester United are confident about what they are doing in the Champions League obviously this has an impact on their performance in the Premier League, so I'm sure both teams will win. In other matches, Luton vs Wolves is not easy to predict Luton is the weakest team but plays at home they could win or draw at least Luton can get 1 point in this 5th match.
there is no doubt that Manchester City will have to win convincingly against Nottingham Forest . Nottingham Forest is no match to Manchester City as long as English Premier League is concerned. I know that Nottingham Forest is not to be underrated because they were able to deal with Chelsea. Chelsea is not stable since this season as it was in the last season. So it is a very different scenario from Manchester United. Talking about Manchester United and Burnley, I think Manchester United should use this match to enforce the team and bring back the confidence. They actually performed well in the Champions League, what that very expectation, they should be able to beat Burnley.
3186  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When Gamblers Fail to Read a Casino's Terms and Conditions on: September 22, 2023, 11:41:45 PM
Regarding this subject matter though, here are some of the threads that might be related,

But I do agree that reading the casino's terms are really that important to us. And if it is not clear to us, maybe we ought to ask them or if we don't want any hassle then stick to the casinos that we have been playing for years.
Do you also agree that some casinos do make their terms of service agreement so long and boring that you will get tired of teading and will decided to skip? This is the reason some gamblers do not bother reading terms and conditions and besides in as much as it is a casino. There are supposed to have similar terms and conditions. So there is no foreign law that should be introduced that is very far beyond the standard. I do not support that gamblers should not read terms and conditions, but let terms and conditions follow the standard that is known and not to unnecessarily frustrate people.

What makes women go into gambling?

Possibility to get new set of frying pans quicker than Xmas or Bday.
When I saw this picture, I didn't know my reaction towards it. And I did not know if to be sad or it is funny to me because the comment is so humorous. But then it could also be the reason women involved in gambling just to have a new set of cooking stuff maybe new set of dress or shoes. Priority is very much dependent on gender. You can see a guy who gambles just to buy a bottle of bear and it will be so funny to the other gender who do not take bear. I have said what I think make women go into gambling, this is just a reaction to the above comment.

Xavi basically has a deal for his contract.

He will extend for 1 more year until the end of 2025 with an option for 1 more year to 2026.
Xavi Hanendez is doing well for Barcelona and we shouldn't forget in a hurry when Barcelona was in shambo and literally no coach wanted the job. Xavi came to Camp Nou to seal his love with the club. Amidst the financial problems of the club, I really thought it will take so long for Xavi to bring the club back on track but it took him less than two seasons.
We can all attest that Barcelona is Barcelona is back to what they used to be if not for the Champions League non performance.
Now the reason I narrated this is to know why Barcelona is giving Xavi just 1 Yr contract and extension option of 1 Yr still. Is it that they do not trust him?
3189  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: September 22, 2023, 11:04:13 PM
I’m pretty sure a lot of people had a lot of confidence in Onana when he was brought in to Manchester United. I mean, who wouldn’t? He did an amazing job over at Inter Milan, he just had to be brought in.
I remember watching the game and seeing him sitting so dejected, I felt sorry for him. He probably didn’t think he would have conceded as much goals as he has done in his time at Manchester United.
He’s most likely under some pressure to get better but he can only do so much considering the defense isn’t entirely free of any fault.
I feel so bad for him, he is good goalkeeper and we all saw what he did in Inter Milan last season and i was even more surprised when I watched the champions league final, he played excellently and with his confidence i knew he was too good for the club and other teams will seek for his services. His move to Manchester United was a good move for him but I think probably the overall team performance has affected him and made him lose so much confidence. These things happen alot and it is same thing happening to Mudryk in Chelsea, they are good players that have lost their confidence due to one or two reasons. I hope they regain back their confidence and redeem themself.
I do not think that Onana's case is as worse as described here. We all know the capabilities of Onana and we have watched him play for Inter Milan excellently, so I do not believe that he should lose form so easily as he arrived Manchester United. The problem which would seem to be his personal problem is rather in the team's problem. Manchester United for the past five seasons has not been what they used to be. When their new coach, Eric came last season, he did his best but it is quite unfortunate that he could not continue from the last season glory. I bet you that if Manchester United return to good form their goalkeeper will become the best he used to be.

Finally, the German national team succeeded in getting Julian Nagelsmann as the new coach for Euro 2024 and as previously reported, the agreement has been reached as of today. Julian Nagelsmann will be Germany coach until Euro 2024 ends and even though this is a short responsibility as a coach, of course all parties, especially the DFB, want the best results from Julian Nagelsmann with the German national team. Everything is ready and just waiting for the official announcement later.

Good deal for the German national team and also a good challenge for coach Julian Nagelsmann who gets his first job after being sacked in Bayern Munich for off field reasons. The German national team performance has been awful and not good enough and i believe with Nagelsmann model of football and german players available; the Germany squad will bounce back ahead of EURO 2024. Wishing Nagelsmann the very best!!!
Julian Nagelsmann became the latest former Bayern Munich manager who later became the coach of the German national team and I think it's a very good news for the German football after the former coach Hansi Flick was sacked after a serial run of poor results. The current coach Julian Nagelsmann will lead the national team to the European championship next summer and would be expected to bring the European title home.
3191  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Behaviours of gamblers you dislike. on: September 22, 2023, 02:19:22 PM
What is the one behaviour you noticed in a gambler and  you dislike it? You don't need to have a reason for disliking it but you just do.

As for me I dislike when gamblers complain of their losses, meanwhile you hear them complain when they are getting winnings.

What about you, what do you dislike ?

I really don't like gamblers who become aggressive when they are on a losing streak. It's like he knows the risk that he will keep losing and lose a lot of money, but he still plays and loses and takes his anger out on other people, this is what I hate the most.
I agree with you, my father used to be like this. I understand why they are like that but it's so wrong, you should have a budget when it comes to gambling so that if you lose, you won't feel bad about what you lost. But of course I still love my father very much even though he used to be like that
Gambling is one engagement that has to do with so much risks and that's why people who can't manage the outcome of losing their money are strongly advised to stay out of gambling. One popular behavior among gamblers especially addicts is that they're always transferring their aggression on people around them whenever they lose their stakes in gambling and sometimes it does lead irreconcilable quarrells with people around them. It's very bad to behold most times.
3192  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: September 22, 2023, 02:13:45 PM

If not that last season the performance of arsenal players reduced it would  have been so difficult for Manchester City to win the league.  If arsenal can manage their energy to perform good till the end of the season Manchester City chances of winning the league this season will be slim. But still Manchester City still remains the favorites to win the league because they have always have sufficient energy to perform excellent till the end of the league. For now are can't be predicted what they will be upto as the season goes on.
I have this feeling that Manchester City might not win the league this season, they're the best performing team in the EPL currently but the season is still fresh and i won't conclude yet because i know they'll still face injury crisis like other teams ánd probably drop some points, giving chance for other teams to top the league, we know how Debruyne's injury affected their performance before Pep quickly restrategised to get them going, now imagine when 3 to four key players get injured.

However let's not forget Liverpool and Tottenham are also in form as well and they've started well too so i won't write them off because they're strong contenders and would challenge Mancity when they begin to drop form due to injury crisis, Arsenal last season were very brilliant if only they could step up a bit and perform similar to their performances in the beginning of last season.
From what I've seen so far this season, it'll take consistent poor results from current English Premier League champions Manchester City not retain the league title for the fourth consecutive times. Manchester City has not been at their best just like we saw at the ending stages of last season but they've managed to win all their five league games and are the only English club to do that this season.
Their most creative midfield player Kelvin De Bruyne is out injured since the first league match of the season but that hasn't stopped them from winning their games. Liverpool, Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur has so far shown that they're strong contenders for the title but I strongly believe that it'll be difficult to stop City from winning the league title again
3193  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: September 22, 2023, 02:05:41 PM

Talking about the Madrid derby, it seems that Real Madrid will have new ammunition in the match because two of their players who were previously absent due to injury have now started to return to training sessions. It can be seen that Vini and Arda Guler are starting to make preparations for this match, but I feel that Real Madrid will not force Vini's condition to play in this hot derby match considering that the consequences could be fatal and lead to another injury. On the other hand, it is possible that Arda Guler could be a good refreshing option if it is later included as a supersub.

Meanwhile, for other news, I just heard that Carvajal will be absent from this derby match and will probably be sidelined for up to 10 days, after previously it was confirmed that he would recover in 8 days. Apart from that, everyone will be looking forward to this week's Madrid derby because even though Atletico haven't had good results so far, when it comes to prestige, they will still be on par with Real Madrid to compete for victory.
The Madrid derby is reported to be one of the most popular derbies in the history of football and as expected the first Madrid derby of the season has been getting so much attention from the media. The two Madrid clubs will be battling it out on Sunday at the Civitas Metropolitan Stadium for who will win the all important game.
Real Madrid has won all their five league games so far this season while their neighbors have just picked up seven Spanish La Liga points from a possible 15 which I think give Real Madrid a better advantage going in to the crucial game on Sunday. With the return of Vinicius Jnr to the Real Madrid squad, a draw is the worst result that is expected of Real Madrid in that game.
3194  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Warning] Don't share your casino account! on: September 22, 2023, 01:52:18 PM
I recently received multiple PM on my Telegram account that offers profit sharing for placing bets on their behalf.

What is the procedure for this? Do you have to risk your own money, or will they send you money to bet on a certain game as per their instructions? I'm curious because if they require you to use your own money and claim they will ensure you win, it sounds like they might be trying to scam you, and it may not be related to any legitimate syndicate or organization.
Most of this telegram channels that offers to help people place bets for them are simply scammers trying to lure unsuspecting victims to accept their terms and these victims do lose their hard earned money after accepting those dubious offers.
They do tell people who join their channels that they have very sure games that they would want their followers to bet on and then goes ahead to tell some followers who doesn't know how to bet to create an account, fund it and send the login details for them to bet on their behalf. Unless you want to be one of their victims, it's absolutely unwise to share your account login details with them.
3195  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Some of country can offer you legal gambling in 2023! on: September 22, 2023, 01:40:55 PM
I don't live in a country where gambling is legal, but gambling here always exists regardless of whether it is covert or overt. There are several entertainment venues that allow gamblers to gamble their money at the table even though my country's regulations prohibit it, but this can happen due to the support of corrupt government officials.

Despite this, the online gambling business in my country continues to grow even though the government is very aggressive in arresting the bookies. This still hasn't stopped, but of course if someone wants to gamble legally then neighboring countries are the best option to be their destination.
With the latest technological advancements, it's very impossible for the government of any country to say that they gonna control gambling in their nation and that's why wether it's legal or not, many people will continue to gamble regardless of governmental policies.
It was when gambling companies had to set up physical outlets for their customers to come and gamble that the government can approve or disapprove gambling among her citizens by not allowing any physical gambling outlets but now that most gambling companies now operate virtually through the internet, there's nothing that can be done to curb gambling
3196  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: September 22, 2023, 10:18:45 AM
In fact, it cannot be said that the defeat experienced by Manchester United was completely blamed on the players, but their coach Ten Hag may not have been able to manage the Manchester United squad players well, because if only he could manage them properly I think he could reduce the space to face them. opponent's attack. I think Ten Hag should be replaced by another, better coach.
I don't think there's a good coach that still available, most of good coaches already manage their own teams or national teams. Manchester United need to spend good amount of money if they want to hire a good coach from other teams, this is not possible as they have financial difficulty now.
Erik Ten Hag might delivering good results at the moment for Manchester United but that doesn't make him a very bad manager for the club either. He's got the tactical experience and abilities to turn things around for the English club in nearest future and that's why I think it's too early to be calling for his sack at the moment.
Their performance in their UEFA Champions League game against Bayern Munich wasn't that disappointing even when they weren't able to get a point from that game because it's very rare to see a club who defeats the Bavarians at Allianz Arena.
3197  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is the drive that makes women go into gambling? on: September 22, 2023, 09:13:12 AM
I think the major reason why most women engage in gambling is because of the kind of environment they happened to find themselves in. Money they said is not a gender based tool so when they see most men around them gamble and win at the end of the day, they'll want to get involved in that same thing the men are doing and getting financial returns.
Gambling does not have gender restrictions and in as much as more women feel okay in gambling, it's absolutely finefor them to get involved.
3198  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: September 21, 2023, 10:54:19 PM
But no matter what they are still the biggest favourite to win the Premier League title. I just hope they don't pull away from others early. This would make the league a little boring. Last season was really nice in terms of this thanks to Arsenal's effort.
Yeah, City are the favorites for the EPL yet again (i wonder for how long we're going to continue saying this), and i can't see the team that's going to stop them, the other teams in the EPL wouldn't want City to win their fourth title in a row, but they'll have to stop them on the pitch, which looks somewhat impossible to do at the moment. Arsenal made it competitive last season, and i think they'll do so again this season, Liverpool are looking good too; i doubt if City win run away with the title, but i have no doubts about them being the strongest favorites to win it.
Despite the fact that it's still very early to predict who'll win the English Premier League title this season, Manchester City has shown that they're the favourite to league that they've been winning since the last three seasons. They've won all their five league games this season and are very much control as they lead the English Premier League table with 15 points.
Liverpool, Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur I think are also serious contenders for the title but when it comes to depth in squad and delivering of good performances, Manchester City stands above they other contenders
3199  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: September 21, 2023, 10:47:23 PM
Beaten Dortmund in the Champions League did not give psg any guarantee that they would win their next match against Marseille because Marseille is also doing well. psg is unpredictable now with their performance, but let's see what will happen by the weekend Maybe they will win Marseille and continue with good form.
Marseille is doing well on their side as a team but then checking the records it doesn't seem so as they are unbeaten but they have won just one out of five matches played so far, the rest games were draw, as compared to PSG who has won three of their games, it's only understandable to say the match may end a draw but I doubt PSG may want to give Marseille that chance to win.

PSG don't really have that much of a problem as you may want to see it except for the dependency on mbappe in most of their matches, something they did their best not to do in their last UCL game, this dependency at times is due to the fact that he appears to be the best in their team as at this time and he knows how well to score goals so they would always want to assist him make the goals.

Let's hope the game this weekend turns out well in favour of whomsoever plays well to deserve a win, but as at this time I will be careful not to be very certain about my prediction as I still feel anything can happen in favour of any of both team but then the obvious is, PSG is the favourite for this game, and they have the home advantage aswell. These are all factors that may considerably aid their victory
Paris Saint Germaine's defeat at home to Nice last weekend is a clear pointer that the French champions aren't predictable when it comes to French Ligue fixtures.
Of a truth, they comfortably defeated Borussia Dortmund in their first UEFA Champions League game of the season but that doesn't in any way guarantee that they're gonna win their league game against Marseille this weekend. Unlike PSG, Marseille are still unbeaten in the league since the start of the season and would definitely not want to lose against PSG this weekend.
3200  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Conference League 2023/24 Season on: September 21, 2023, 10:41:25 PM
Aston Villa would likely have a very difficult time winning away. Given the starting lineup, I don't think Emery would earn all three points; Douglas Luiz, Watkins, and Cash are on the bench; while I hope they win, I predict a draw.
It was a very hard game and Aston villa was away. I can say that they put in their best into this game, this is their first appearance in the UEFA's club competition for a very long time, this isn't like the English premier league they are used to but they had put in a good performance, I would be looking forward to their next match with I believe they would do well and my prediction is that Aston villa would go very far in the UEFA conference league.
Aston Villa's European campaign for 13 years was indeed a very poor one as their toothless defending allowed Legia Warsaw to get the better of them. The English Premier League club who was playing away from home had come from behind to equalize in the game in two different occasions but couldn't hold on to a draw or probably get winner in the game.
