Interesting idea. Threat of asics may very well be part of the migration to PoS coins. But they are still quite a while from shipping. I almost bought a Titan.
I know ... if you can't beat em, right? I know the ASICs are still a ways off, but it is something that at least some people are seriously freaking out about. My own technical understanding is too weak for me to really get if this is a serious concern or not. But what I do know is that enough people think it's serious enough to move markets. The amazing movement in FLT over the last 24 hours is also going to drive interest on its own. People are scrolling down the list of coins on coinmarketcap and going, holy crap, this one just jumped 500% in one day. Then you look at the specs of the coin and you realize that it's really got some bright ideas relevant to this whole ASIC issue, and the overall professionalism of the web site and presentation, plus a bit of lightheartedness with the butterfly thing (coming from the Doge community, I definitely prefer a more casual approach from a branding perspective). And of course the other factor is that it still looks early enough in the coin's life cycle that you can buy a bunch cheap and hopefully ride the lightning. At least ... that's what I'm thinking. ride the lightening LOL one my favorite albums

FLT aint even premined BC style XD btw dev, updates on multipool please
I'm not involved with the mutipool nor will I ever be. I don't want the responsibility of handling peoples coins... There are some people working on it as far as i know. I'd never be able to get a good nights sleep LOL

To even say something like that erases support in the past you've given the coin.
Guy whines that FLT will be a pump and dump, then he himself says he's gonna dump if it hits 200 - makes sense.

i've just become less optimistic about flt, selling all 5 million once it's at 200 or more satoshi
Hm, what made you so suddenly change your mind? Afraid of $$$$ LOL

Reward decrease should help it longterm IMHO especially that it's tiered

so ive been heavily active in trading penny stock all my life. the only thing that makes price rise and fall is supply and demand. being able to foresee the pattern of price appreciation/depreciation largely depends on the effect of supply and demand. our shiny new coin is barely known, which indicates a weak demand. this is great news for us here at these levels. there will be many newcomers the supply of the coin was unknown and variable until the recent change in POW rewards. the supply has been cut down and firmed up. this is great news for us here at these levels. Theres gotta be a great story to help the demand flock to the coin/stock. We have a great story. It screams innovation backed by a developer who cares, is responsive and damn intelligent. There seems to be tail winds now, rather then headwinds like only a few days ago. We should soon pick up the steam we need, for our story to spread, creating demand as the supply shrinks.
I am organically connected to this coin through fate. We found each other through thought and due process.
Good Luck and Cheers to the future of fluttercoin!

i hope you're right. i actually think flutter is going to have a tough time going mainstream. even with PoT If a coin with no innovation can make it, I think FLT has a great chance to go mainstream.

kidcoin, do you anything about multipools? can you steer me in the right direction? equipment, ddos protection, software etc, etc. I would try and setup a multipool and buy the right equipment, but I'd need guidance.
we should probably get an existing pool operator to run it. they can probably set it up fast since they have experience. Yes ^^ use an existing one. Yeah you really have to know what you're doing with a pool. Everyone's coins are in your hands... Accounting and setting payments to percentages of the hashrate shouldn't be too hard to set. I'll keep researching anyway for my own knowledge, if anything.. *shrugs* editted additions: it is a 'cryptodog eat cryptodog world' so if we don't fight back soon, i don't see as bright of a future but not a bad one either, we've been ok so far... multipool mining also has greater effect with coins no longer mined via PoW. Still is good for mining while PoW exists too. Not suggesting anything, merely stating a fact. well, PoW won't be around much longer. so by the time someone sets it up and it's working, PoW will be out the door for FLT. i wonder what coins we should mine on that multipool? if scrypt asics ship, unless some of us get one of the 250mh machines, we won't be able to mine much. maybe we should mine a scrypt n coin? sell that for btc, then buy flt Where are you getting this LOL? POW will be around forever...the number of coins that are mined means nothing really, its the value. And on top of that rewards will be pretty high for the next 2 months.

Ya'll are lucky. I wish mine would stake more than one time lol. I had mined some ghostcoins and when they started staking, I was getting 8 coins+ every few minutes for a couple of days so thats how I thought this one was suppose to work out. Guess we will have to wait to see what kidcoin says.
i've only gotten 1 stake, it was for 10 coins. stake amount 235k Yeah, there was some stupid NVC thing that limited POS rewards to 10 to try to get people to break up coins into smaller inputs - doesn't effect though your may yearly interest. This is removed with the new update that will drop tonight (won't take effect until the 19th of April though) so the stake amount will still be the same that we would have gotten if there wasn't a limit to 10, we just have to wait a little bit for it to kick in? or we basically won't get the stake for the last month + the next few day til the update? You will get to stake those coins again...
