322  Local / Pamilihan / Re: NBA discussion, betting and etc. on: October 16, 2023, 07:57:46 AM

323  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: CZ's view on Halving on: October 14, 2023, 04:44:28 PM
Well, past halving histories never disappoints the ATH stuff. For me the predictability is present but what if we're wrong this time and what if we just experience stability in price and not some ATH? If we're about to see new ATH by 2024-2025 then I'd say we  better position right now.
324  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Government job or private job? on: October 14, 2023, 03:02:01 PM
As they said, government job is better compare to private job because it is permanent and pensionable and the job is more secured. Though private job too some are pensionable but not permanent and not that secured. And again in private job, you have the opportunity to let them know how much you want to be paid. You can either be paid higher or lower base on how you present yourself.

Which one do you prefer if you are given an offer?
From what you've given it's like government job was the highlighted one that will be favored to. TBH I'm not into government job but for me there are lot of advantageous things when you're into private job but what's the most advantageous is having you as the boss like having a business. Though it's risky, it's worth it as well if you know what you're venturing. I'm into the latter and I will pursue it.
325  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How often is your luck in gambling? on: October 14, 2023, 12:55:23 PM
This Filipina did not even expect she won the grand prize on lottery instead she thought of winning just consolation prizes. Lucky for her she had that financial stability for 25 years as $6,670+ a month here in the Philippines is pretty huge.

https://www.gmanetwork.com/news/pinoyabroad/content/882861/pinay-wins-over-p387-000-a-month-for-25-years-in-emirates-draw/story/

I am not lucky in lottery or any gambling casinos but way back in 2017 the only luck I encountered was I gambled with the risk of joining bounty hunting on this forum and it is worth it.

How about you guys, are you having a good fortune on your gambling career? Do you ever think of quitting after you won a jackpot?
I've seen this thread in our local board and I think that amount of money every month was likely the salary of higher officials in the government like senator or even the president. That was too good considering it's for 25 years without a miss. I'm not wanting a fortune in gambling, I'd rather want it over investments.
326  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: One seed, One casino game. Superstitious or Not? on: October 14, 2023, 08:35:39 AM
I was kind of curious about it so I want to ask the gamblers here.
Do you use the same method? One seed, one game?
Is this just some kind of a superstitious belief or is it really working?

No, I think it's just some belief that doesn't have any proof at all. That's possible to have only one seed but I think even if you have changed so many seeds I think that wouldn't erase the fact that it's not the lucky thing. For me, that's just a superstitious belief and it won't work even in the long run.
327  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online Casino Crypto gambling on: October 14, 2023, 02:29:13 AM
Does anyone here really utilize these online crypto casinos to place bets in bitcoin and have you had much luck with it? What have you found to give you the best odds in winning? Is there any skill involved in any of their games or is it all purely chance?
I don't think it's about a casino as it will only matter on how legitimate they are but in luck and winnings that's totally not always present. Most of crypto casinos are into luck based games and even on a game of skills, luck should always be present no matter what if you want to win.
you will have better winnings if you go to sportsbetting and you know very well at least one or couple of sports. but if you happen to play on those luck-based games, then don't expect that you get your winnings anytime soon. as it sits, games of chance depend on your luck. there are a lot of factors in play before you will hit big, if in case you will get it.
I'm really into sports betting right now and as far as I can tell it really is more profitable if you know at least how to analyze one or two different kind of games. I just started early last year into sports betting and I can really say I'm in the profitable side, not that much but at least it's much better compare to luck base games in terms of profitability.
328  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: October 14, 2023, 01:16:13 AM
We will see, I think the Nuggets, the Bucks and the Lakers have a good chance to win the title.
The Lakers can only hope for any success if LeBron performs as well as he has in the past and Davis stays healthy during the regular season and playoffs. By the way, some news sites say that this season will probably be LeBron's last chance to win a fifth title in his career because a lot of players on the current Lakers roster will become free agents next offseason.
They're aging to be honest and their best bet is if Austin Reaves perform his best this season. I don't think they'll get a ring this season considering too many are making superteam. We don't know if this will be his last season but I hope it's not and see that father and son duo in the court.
329  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you play while listening music? on: October 13, 2023, 08:56:53 PM
Which is more entertaining? playing games listening to music or without music just sound of the games like roulette ball bouncing on the metal wheel or playing games in silence?
While listening to music its hard to control our emotions while losing and we are not able to concentrate on game. it is highly likely that we blow our account by betting high.
but it is more entertaining while listening music on low volume and playing games.
I think listening to music is way more entertaining to me, been done this in the past and not just while playing but while also studying or doing some errands. I think that's just a theory that we can't control our emotions while listening to music, it's not that music is the one doing the decision, it's all about self-control.
There are some people who's comfortable or like to listen to music while gambling like you. Especially, if the music gives you an intense beat as it definitely has the efficacy to make someone experience intense emotions. Someone told me before that if you listen to fast paced songs it does also make your movement fast without realizing it, and if combined with gambling, this might really boost the mood of every gamblers.

But for someone like me, it's really distracting as it kinda hard to focus and make a decision on gambling while listening to music. Maybe it really depends on people on how they take music, if it is a distraction or something that can boost your mood.
Well, it's really an individual thing with music, it may not work for you but it will work to others. It's distracting if you want to anticipate the lyrics and the beat, but if it's just a background you want the  you'll surely not be distracted. I think it depends on the music you listen too, I'm into deep house music and it's not that distracting at all.
330  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Time to invest AI coins? on: October 13, 2023, 06:45:55 PM
Yes, I see now kind of every project that is getting introduced now in the crypto space is having integration with AI. I think this is the time now as it is the new trend. We have seen with initial phases of ICO, IEO, meme, and defi all were successful and gave good returns. Having said so, we need to be cautious as these are crypto projects with too much volatility. We can invest some amount accepting the risk to ride on the wave.
New trend seems to deteriorate fast as well but I think AI will have more room for growth considering how they are helpful to humankind. For me it's a great choice to have AI on your investment products as it's still the trend these days alongside with gaming tokens. Invest what you just can afford to lose.
331  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is ETH the King of Altcoins ? on: October 13, 2023, 02:33:30 PM
Ethereum is the king of altcoins no one can disagree with that. Ethereum is the rank one altcoin in the market. Most importantly it is the most trusted coin and a large community trusts this coin. As a result they invest here and its marketcap is higher than other altcoins. So we can undoubtedly call Ethereum the king of altcoins.
Market capitalization ranking seems to be what you're referring to but there are other altcoins out there too that has high market cap and has large community. The thing with Ethereum is they over promise sometimes that often delays are what they are labeled at. Well, there's lot of hype on staking part and that burning mechanism but what most wants was the lower fee it could set.

333  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Has anyone encountered any dog race betting here? on: October 12, 2023, 07:09:52 PM
I became curious for sometime now about dog racing as I have not seen it here or  anything relates to it here or if I am wrong you can correct me and direct me to the thread or casino that offers such betting option for gamblers.  I first saw this game in a movie where dog race was the major character or action of the movie and since then I picked interest in it but I barely see live games for it and casino i think do not have such option and if they do, they should indicate here so I can visit their casino for games. I think this aspect of gaming is overlooked and possibly an asset to casino if they give it a try.
I think I've never found anything in it here but I've already watched some videos about it on social media platforms. As far as I know the greyhound are the dog's breed that usually compete for it considering how huge they leap and how fast they are. They'll surely be only available on private competition or unless they're legally permitted to do so as long as what they race are professional dogs as well.
334  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Educational plan sa Bitcoin o Insurance? on: October 12, 2023, 05:56:13 PM
Ito ang plan ko. Kukuha ako ng educational plan na mababa lang then half ng salary(signature campaign at real job) ko ay ilalagay ko sa Bitcoin monthly then observe ang Bitcoin market in 4 years basis dahil ito yung tinatawag na crypto cycle tapos ilalabas ko yung half profit ko sa Bitcoin para ilagay ulit sa insurance and so on. Bali not totally all-in sa Bitcoin para may guaranteed profit while still invested sa Bitcoin regularly.
Ito scenario lang ito, "What if mag accept ng Bitcoin payment yung mga educational institutions in the future na malaki na yung anak mo"? I know risky yung Bitcoin market pero sa tingin ko ibahin mo lang yung dalawa at ang crypto cycle hindi naman yan forever, uncertain yan just because it happens 3 times ay hindi ibig sabihin ma uulit ng uulit yan. Yung real job mo ay pang real life na yan then yung earnings mo online ay ilaan mo sa Bitcoin or wag mong hatiin yung real job salary mo, maybe 1/4 lang nito ang ilagay.
335  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cross addictions is Just as Bad. on: October 12, 2023, 04:49:05 PM
Cross addiction is as worst as the main addiction you are trying to quit and it is a terrible idea. But what is cross addiction?
Quote
What Are Cross Addictions?
Cross addiction, also known as addiction transfer or addiction interaction disorder, occurs in various ways. First, an individual may simultaneously engage in substance abuse and maladapative behavioral patterns (medically referred to as behavioral or process addictions). Second, a person may replace one addiction with another (i.e., substituting opioids with cannabis). Third, an addictive behavior may precede a chemical addiction or vice versa.
https://www.choosingtherapy.com/cross-addiction/
So a friend told me that a mutual friend tried to replace his gambling addiction with another another one because he has tried all everything else. The new addiction is PS4. He pays for extra on the game and he is getting more and more into it. According to my friend, this mutual friend feels that paying $20 per month its subscription is better than $100- $500 on slots where he ends up losing.

Well I told him that this is basically cross addiction and what that mutual friend is trying to do is like running away from the truth. Not wanting to face the core issue. So he is justify spending $20 and not on slots when both are unhealthy addictions that can have far reaching consequences. He just has to sit and face his addiction head on without looking for a replacement addiction which is just as bad.

Ever heard of cross addiction or suffered from it?
What do you think?
Addiction is addiction and we don't have to take the responsibility light just because the other one is much cheaper compare or the past was a bad one to deal with. I mean we could replace these addictions with another one and that's entirely possible but to be honest this is curable if someone wants to lead his life out of it or someone helps him/her this addiction.

I think cross addiction was like the closest thing to get out of the true addiction. It's like this individual wants to get out of it but something is missing, it's either it's on him/her or he/she wants help from others.
336  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Binance Founder CZ said that, Copy trading now live on Binance. on: October 12, 2023, 01:35:09 PM
CZ announced that the automated copy trading module has already started on Binance (BNB), the world's leading crypto exchange. Binance CEO and founder Changpeng "CZ" Zhao announced this upgrade on October 9, 2023, on his X account. A 22-second video has been made on his official X account about this, you can watch it if you want.
Video
I think for some this is a good addition but others will also fail to recognize it. Nevertheless, it will just get better I hope with these kind of additions to Binance. Copy trading isn't that bad as long as you follow the right individuals to copy. It's best for beginners and that depends on how they market it now.
This could be a good start for those who are still learning how to trade, but of course there is still risk and Binance will not include this option if they think that copy trading will make trading more profitable because if they do their binance will not earn money anymore. I hope that those who will use copy trading will still learn the basic information about trading, this is how it should be done and take the process slowly but surely.
Well, they'll surely have to but Binance doesn't earn on that they earn through fees generated on their platform not the numbers of those lead traders or who does this copy trading. No, I hope that they pick the right trader they want to follow or to copy and not just blindly pick a random one. Copy trading is not bad even in traditional market it is being done. I advise follow those traders that will educate you along the way, not just because they post some random shit TA without even an explanation.

Hello all,

Have any of you made great parlay bets in the past? I would love to know what it was! Do you have any current Parlay bets being wagered that you would be open to sharing?
Not fan of parlay bets to be honest it kinda ruin what's my strategy for a bet and I'm only having fun dealing with one or two bets that aren't joined. Never have made any parlay bets in the past and I think never want to risk it in the future as well. The only good thing with parlay is that it has huge win compare to a single bet but it has more risk of course.

340  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambler avoiding friends after a big win. on: October 11, 2023, 08:57:17 PM
At one of the local gambling shop I visited during the weekend I happened to listen to a conversation between two bald looking gamblers at the shop talking about one of their gambling colleague who had won a big amount of money amounting to a million in the local currency and due to that win this colleague of theirs' has been avoiding them since e won that money. From their conversation it was obvious that they were a circle of close three friends that gamble together.

After all I finished with my bet headed home and was asking myself what could the colleague act that way avoiding his close friends they all gambling together and just because luck shines on him first he decides to create a distance and class. I couldn't actually annex a good reason why anyone should do that.
That's just messed up maybe the other guy thinks he'll just suck some money from him now that he won that huge amount of money. In my opinion, you shouldn't avoid them or don't talk to them because when you were not having these wealth they're the one that has been there not matter what.
