Due to data dumps from LoyceV, we don't have ranks of Autobans one-week before the banwave, we don't have data to compare average daily Autoban rates of each rank between before and after period. Let's make comparison based on Ratios, sorted by ranks. Formula- Ratio = Autoban rate of After the banwave period / Autoban rate of Before the banwave period.
However, I guess the ratios of lower ranks, like Brand new, newbie, Junior member or member are likely higher than ratios of higher ranks. Mainly because lower-ranked users are mostly shitposters or farm accounts, and they usually do plagiarisms to save time. If the plagiabot runs with all-rank targets, I believe the ratio for lower ranked users will surely be higher than the ratio of higher ranked users.
Maybe things will become clearer if LoyceV can spend a little time to rerun data analysis for one-week period before banwave.[/list]

Glad to see your come back after successful account recovery. I don't know which team you mentioned in the OP, but you should know that there is a very special team, Cryptios, that have well-known three members (alanst, 3dOOm, and Rizzrack - they ware Cryptios' members we've known by now, maybe more people in the company that operated by Cyrus) are responsible for bitcointalk.org account recovery. You can find out more about Cryptios there: Cryptios

Update from LoyceV for the three-day period, from 21/5-23/5/2019 In 3 days, 405 more users have been Autobanned:
Results (from 11/5/2019 to 23/5/2019) All ranksBrand new + Newbie ranks excludedBefore & After Banwave period comparison- Before: one-week before the banwave: 764 Autobans
- After (from 11/5 to 23/5/2019 ~ 13-day period: 2575 Autobans
The average of daily autobans are 110 and 198 cases per day for before and after the banwave periods, with the cutoff day is 11/5/2019 (the start day of after period). It means that the average of autobans per day of after period is 1.8-times (198/110 ~ 1.80) higher than the figure of before period. In addition, if we counted only the last three days, from 21/5-23/5/2019, the average rate of Autobans per day is 405/3 ~ 135, that has dramatically fallen compared to the 10-day period from 11/5-20/5/2019, at 210 Autoban per day in average. The banwave has been likely cooled down a little bit last three days, compared to the rate of average autobans per day of the before period at 110.

Generally, it is unnecessary, because we need space for more essential things.
I don't think such Warning is needed to show off when users type their posts because users have to read forum rules, that contain the rule on plagiarism. Wherever they join, they should read rules and accept rules before they join or use it; so it is not a responsibility of the forum to announce or warn them about that. Nevertheless, if there will be a Warning on Plagiarism, it should be popped up as concurrently with the Welcome message after a new user register and log in account the first time. Your suggested Warning is somehow inappropriate, I suggest another: "Plagiarism cause permanent ban when found, read forum rules and be careful!"

I joined the forum in November 2017, during the craziest period of crypto world over the last three years. Within early months in the forum, I actually did not spend too much time to discover the forum structures, rules, and so on, but I got help from forum members whenever I asked for help. One day, merit system suddenly launched, and entirely changed the way I used the forum, more positively. Since January of 2018, I have actually help & get help, but I believe that I changed to much more constructive member in the forum over the last several months. Honestly, I have not been an expert in crypto as well as in the forum, but I always tried to help others whenever I can, and create helpful topics for newbies (based on my limited knowledge and experience in crypto so far). There are some of my topics & posts submited for my application, that is my second application here: Topics:[Guide] Using historical price chart on coinmarketcap.com in a specific periodPosters - Read before composing and publishing your postsAccount hacks. Why was my previous post re Craig Wright taken down?
Some potential reasons: spam, troll, off-topic. Please read forum rules there: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=703657.0. However, whenever your posts deleted (if threads in which you posted are not deleted), you will receive a delete message. If delete message does not contain details with red highlight words (for reasons), I believe that such posts deleted due to spam, or offtopic. In case, the thread in which your posts posted, is deleted, you won't receive delete message. Most of topics/ posts relate to Craig Wright likely a spam place, nothing more than spam.

Since 7/2015, bitcoin brings the highest cumulative miner revenue for miners among Bitcoin, Litecoin, and Ethereum. Since ETH's inception, BTC's total miner revenue is 2x ETH's and 11x LTC's.

When bitcoin moves back to its price range around $15000 or $18000, it might make a flippening with Master card, or even take over the first position of Visa card, as the top payment network of the US. citizen. I could be wrong but I remember that in 2017 or early days of 2018, when bitcoin stood at its all time high range, there are so many articles, news spred out with the prediction that Bitcoin will take over Visa position soon or it actually took over Visa position during that period.

So I was Junior Member in this moment and wen I posted message 2 days ago my rank was newbie and thanks to @LouseV I am again JunMember.
I congratulate you to reach one of first step in the forum, and wish you will maintain your good posting habits, but you should correct your post a little bit. LoyceV, instead of LouseV

Thanks guys for your replies... Your points have logic...
It seems, Merit is expensive and I think no one will buy 50,100,200,500 Merits to rank up and if anyone does then it will be identifiable because of repetitive meriting someone's post I guess.
In general, I don't think people will do it because it is both expensive and risky There are some reasons that why people don't buy huge amount of merits. Huge amount means something from 50 merits and above. - They will get caught: Merit exchange with huge amount will get caught definitely. Especially if shitposters buy 50 or 100 merits that will be sent to one or some of their shitposts. - Merit is expensive: In total, buying 100 merits might cost them hundreds of dollar, that makes their account become really expensive. hundreds of dollars to become a Full Member from sratch, shitposts, and shady merit exchange as well as risks of red painted when get caught. - Risk of get scammed: What will happen if merit sellers ask buyers to send money first, then sellers will go away with money, and buyers won't receive a single merit? Merit abusers actually did it in early weeks after merit birthday in 2018, but for now, I don't think they will do such merit exchange.

It is a big pleasure of Monero to be mentioned publicly by theymos on its anonymity. The guide of admin on decent mixing methods and Monero is one of the best two options with cheap fees to use is a good recognition on the anonymous transaction of Monero. However, the key is to maintain anonymity totally depends on each person in the way of using internet and moving funds. Monero, Wasabi, or any other kinds of mixer services are not able to guarentee 100% of anonymity. Most "tumblers", like the now-defunct bestmixer.io or even ChipMixer, aren't great because they are needlessly expensive, you're trusting the service not to run away with your coins, and you're trusting the service not to keep logs. Maybe they're the best current solution for small amounts where lasting anonymity isn't mission-critical, but in most cases you shouldn't use them.
Anonymity is very difficult, especially with blockchain-based systems where so much data has to be public, but also in other areas (eg. there are several known weaknesses with Tor). You should always operate with the expectation that any anonymity system you use will eventually fail you. If you're ever confident in your anonymity, then you're wrong.
That said, there are two halfway-decent mixing methods currently:
----snip-----
#2 - Monero
Monero is not a magic black box which provides perfect anonymity! If you use eg. flyp.me to buy XMR and then quickly sell this XMR on flyp.me again, it is blatantly obvious to flyp.me what you've done (if they keep logs), both due to the amounts and the specific Monero inputs used. In order to get decent privacy, you have to do something like this: 1. Convert BTC to XMR (using your own Monero wallet, not a hosted wallet). 2. In two or more transactions of random amounts, move XMR from that wallet to a different wallet/account. 3. Optionally, you can repeat the above step with additional wallets/accounts for greater anonymity. 4. Preferably in two or more transactions of random amounts, convert the XMR in your last wallet in the chain to BTC. Ideally, all of the above should be performed over as long a period of time as you can tolerate.
- Pros: Possibly the best anonymity, especially if you're able to stay within the XMR ecosystem to some extent - Cons: You should use Tor with Monero, but you have to set this up manually; it's all more difficult; you're exposed to exchange rate risk; transaction fees may be significant
Anonymity comparison between the two
Both Wasabi and Monero can be thought of in terms of "anonymity sets". If you're spending some BTC with an anonymity set of 50, this means that an observer can see that the sender is one of 50 people, but they can't tell which. So someone investigating a particular transaction you sent would have you "in their sights" to a certain extent from the start since you're among the 50, but in order to prove that you sent it, they'd have to either eliminate 49 other people from consideration or find some other evidence linking you to it.
Wasabi always aims for an anonymity set of 50 when mixing. Monero has an anonymity set of 11 per transaction. If you cascade transactions as I suggest above, then this multiplies, so after two transactions you have an anonymity set of 11*11=121, and after a cascade of three you'd have an anonymity set of 1331.
The quality of each member in the anonymity set isn't quite comparable, though. Monero is able to hide transaction amounts, which is helpful, but I tend to consider the quality of Monero anonymity-set-members to be lower on average, since many are probably owned by hosted wallets or other possible global adversaries.

After suddenly broke the 37-week support and fell to nearly 2000 satoshis, SEMUX has recovered and been traded stably around 2900 satoshis to 3000 satoshis last several days. In addition, the release of SEMUX core v.1.4.0. actually reduces general inflation rate of SEMUX, that might have good impacts on the price of SEMUX in the long run. By the way, I would prefer to remind SEMUX community that there is a vote for SEMUX listing on Bitmesh, you can find details there with official brief guide written by SEMUX team: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2159012.msg50784648#msg50784648

Admins can see all old versions of edited posts. A better way of framing someone would be to use an external site under your control, and fake the creation date of a post. This has happened. Is it the case from which bitcointalk.org forum has feature to see edited time of post/ thread? I checked the topic, but did not see such information on the activation day of Edited time Display. In my experience, I saw Edited time on my mobile devices just recent months, maybe in the early days of 2019, not in 2018. It is easy to realize on mobile devices because Edited time automatically displayed. On computer or laptop, we have to scroll mouse to the line of Publishing time to see Edited time.
