322  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: IOTA Crowdsale on: March 30, 2016, 11:41:04 AM
Can anyone please tell me what was the price of IOTA after the ICO ended? With all the collected BTC's, what is the price right now before launch ?

0.0000025 right ?

My price (one of the middle bonus's) was 0.0000011 btc per iota.

So people are trying to sell at 3500 ? So that's about 30 times the initial investment, a bit greedy if you ask me ....
I could live with x10 profit for the early birds, but 30+ is a bit too much Smiley
OK thank you for the information, will be waiting for the exchanges to hit. Or if anyone is willing to sell at 1500 sat. msg me Smiley

P.S.
That is my personal opinion, if some one does not like it, just dont answer Smiley

Personally at 30x the sale price with no idea when it will launch I am out . I mean to get 3500 sat will not be easy. I hope all the people who paid the recent premium will get their money back but for me the risk is really not worth it.

Good luck with the project

buying pre-release after ICO doesn't make sence anyway. Buy if it hits the exchange. then you can at least stop it from dropping because of some dumpers :-)

Funny thing about cryptoprojects is that they almost never unfold the same way. There is no telling what the price is going to do...

I created a passphrase and saved it. Is there something else I need to so also?
324  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IOTA - Permissioned ledger Russian extortion scheme on: March 29, 2016, 08:02:03 PM
I did not receive payment for this one yet.

Playing stupid won't add credibility to your posts. You accept the bet or I add this thread into favorites and remind it every time I meet you in threads to show that your words are worth nothing. You have 24 hours to save your face.

Resorting to threats now?  Come on, you know I can just send Bidji the French connection on you.

Why are you beating around the bush? Just put your money where your mouth is, thats all. Escrow: OgNasty

Usually the starting price on the exchange is way higher than ico. These charts mean nothing.

So this would be the genesis?

Snapshot. It's not the genesis.

Ok thanks

YUUUP!

So this would be the genesis?

I think it was ~130 sat.

Where's my 50 btc?

So you don't mind against that bet? Great, what escrow agents do you trust?

You presented terms that are too ambiguous for betting nomenclature.  Nobody would be able to decide the result.  Basically cherry picked the only somewhat ambiguous terminology out of my long post you could find and tried to turn that into a wager...

I don't know what your exact angle is.  I'm guessing you'll make a claim that the coin which hasn't been released yet supports atomic transactions across chains, then claim the outside entropy of other coins allows permissionless accumulation of coins in your network, but that's not how the game works.  You have to assume only your coin exists and you can't just borrow outside entropy from other coins that may or may not exist.

I don't really feel like guessing the other elusive but probably debunkable technicalities you might try to pull.  Did you really think it would be that easy to defeat Long r0ach silver of the high seas and Bitcoin?
331  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Lisk ICO Scam on: March 28, 2016, 02:41:43 PM
LISK is s scam and the sooner people realise the better. I'd never invest 1 cent in a college dropout and a failed ColdFusion developer. Sorry you got stitched up.

Dropping out of college says nothing... Bill Gates, Mark Zuckerberg?

Please stay on topic.

Very well, I created an on-topic discussion:

IOTA - Permissioned ledger Russian extortion scheme

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1414866.0

You do understand that staying on topic and creating your own topic is not the same...

Come July one or two chinese guys will be in uncontested control of Bitcoin.
TPTB will shut down this joke of a coin network in one hour if they think Bitcoin a threat.

Does the original poster really think people are going to believe the words of an account created entirely to shill IOTA?  Then the second post is another IOTA post.  You just gave up your fears that the IOTA IPO pump and dump (like NXT) will be entirely overshadowed by BTC halving.

Get it through your heads, there's no point creating brand new shill accounts pretending to be unbiased observers.  It usually has the exact opposite effect of what you desire.  Most people on the forum have an IQ over 100 and didn't just fall off a turnip truck.

Please stay on topic.
334  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: [IOTA] IOTA Speculation on: March 27, 2016, 05:38:13 PM
BTC will probably explode and push IOTA price down. Thanks for the never ending delays  Wink

I think when btc goes up everything else goes up as well...

When can we throw money at this?  Cool
337  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: IOTA on: March 27, 2016, 09:54:43 AM
Can someone link me to the code and a possible brief guide on how to set-up on a VPS.

I want to start testing and potentially setting up services.

Thanks!

Digital signatures are being changed, wait for 0.9.0 version.

Thanks for the reply.

When the change is complete where can I find the version?

Also where can I keep track of when it is ready? Presumably this thread?

Thanks.

Ask Yassin to invite you on Ryver, all sorts of info there.

338  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoins successor on: March 27, 2016, 09:52:04 AM
The best current alternative for Bitcoin is Emercoin in my view. It offers such a bunch of great feature no other coin does at the moment.

These guys don't let others rush them. Potential is there, once added at polo, who knows...
They need a new qt though...
339  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoins successor on: March 27, 2016, 09:39:18 AM
Bitcoin development is stalled.

Ethereum will subsume bitcoin quite quickly.

Although there is constant development in the Ethereum, there is also developments in Bitcoin, the block size will increase to 2MB by next year.

Bitcoin is deadlocked.  Either the chinese miners go bust or the price goes down

No, there is still too much money to be made. This just the beginning...

Bitcoin is no threat, it's a toy. Even if the price doubles we are talking about 12 billion dollars... peanuts.

It's already is in hands of the chinese, and they are milking this cow like there is no tomorrow.
