321  Economy / Services / Re: Searching someone for some jobs paid in Bitcoin on: July 21, 2017, 06:03:16 AM
Hi, I am searching someone to do some jobs for me, I will pay in Bitcoin, send your Skype in PM.

This is not the right way to hire someone, please format your post so people can see what kind of job you are looking for. For example a correct title would be 'Looking for graphic designer' and on the description you would state your rates and more. This would attract more people who will make an offer on your job.

Also, since you are only newbie people may take advantage of you. You will also look suspicious so consider offering to get an escrow.
322  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price starting to rise on: July 21, 2017, 05:38:26 AM
You guys must have noticed that bitcoin is now rising from #2300 to $2600 currently today. It's starting to regain its value. I have big faith on bitcoins.

What can you say about that? Will it go down again or will it continue to rise?

Price now at 2.8K which meant bitcoin rose by around 500 in 12 hours. I remember this morning when I just woke up, check my social media and opened preev. I was so surprised to see bitcoin back at 2.8K again and it looks pretty stable.

I think that segwit support is growing and therefore the price of bitcoins is also growing. I don't think that prices will drop up until after August first, since the FUD for segwit has died off and everyone is pretty happy right now.

Let's hope bitcoin gets a huge pump after August first.
323  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] ChipMixer - mixing reinvented on: July 20, 2017, 11:28:15 PM
I agree with what you are saying btcton, if you deposit 1 BTC and then retrieve the same amount, people can easily track your addresses and then they can obtain all your addresses, and from then some hackers will be able to find your wallet and then hack through it. This is why sometimes gambling/donating your funds are beneficial since it does make it harder to track.

Chipmixer offers a regular mixing service but adds heaps of features to make it secure.
324  Economy / Services / Re: earn bitcoin with newbie on: July 20, 2017, 11:32:33 AM
i'm a newbie.i look for site earn bitcoin free.  Can help me
Thanks

Well, I can see that you can't speak/type English well, but luckily for you, bitcoin talk has multiple sections with different languages. On the home page, down under local, you can find heaps of different boards that can cater to your language.

From then on you can start regularly posting and leveling up your account to full member and from then on you can easily enrol in a signature campaign, provided the signature campaign manager will allow you to post in that section.

Some other methods to earn Bitcoin would include farming faucets, offering your services to people and trading.
325  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: sell VIP account on this forum ( 50BTC donate ) on: July 20, 2017, 07:37:24 AM
Hello.  Smiley
I want sell account on this forum with status VIP.
account from 2013 years.
Its my account.

Please send me your Amount on PM.

Firstly VIPs would probably have excellent, or at least good English skills, which is not what I can for your, judging by your thread and your responses. Also, there are a very small amount of VIPs that are on this forum and if you could provide proof of ownership and proof that it isn't hacked, it would be nice.

0.5btc for my VIP account
Your offering around 1300 USD for an account that had 50 BTC donated to. 50 BTC would be at least 100,000 USD and your offering barely 1% of the account. If your account was really not hacked, you wouldn't be selling at such a low price.

realy verified account. your ammount in pm
Yeah, saying something is verified, doesn't just make it. Provide proof of ownership and you might have better luck.

If you do have a VIP account, level it up and then enroll in signature campaigns and they will probably pay you extra due to high rank.
326  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: Hello i would like to make somebitcoin on: July 20, 2017, 07:28:48 AM
I have around 12$ on a steam account and Im wondering if there is any way I could turn that into some kind of bitcoin tell me what you want and if your trusted on here ill go first

Hey, if you are interested in making a bit of bitcoin and you do have 12 dollars on a steam account, I would recommend you purchase a couple of CSGO keys or some games and then selling them here. You wouldn't make much but I think 10 dollars in Bitcoin would be a fair price for 12 in steam.

Also for trading, I wouldn't recommend you going first to anyone who doesn't have green trust. I wouldn't recommend even trading with people who have negative trust. Also use an escrow, especially if you think the person is trying to scam you.
327  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in College??? on: July 20, 2017, 06:17:54 AM
With the growing interest in Bitcoin and the Crypto world, there has been a discussion that relates to the possibility of implementing a new course to the curriculum that would teach the growing student about Bitcoin. This would be a good idea, but I doubt the government will be making changes to our learning curriculum anytime soon.

I think for this to be implemented, it would have to be a course in uni, since it would be too complicated for eco students in high school.

Doing this would really help our crypto world and attract heaps of media attention.
328  Economy / Economics / Re: Nationwide Outage Hits Bank of America: Customers Unable To Access Accounts on: July 20, 2017, 02:17:06 AM
Can't believe that such a big bank would have an issue like that. Did it say what was the reason for locking and freezing all of their accounts, because the bank definitely needs to have a reason to justify themselves pulling a move like that.

On the other side, this strengths how useful cryptocurrencies actually are since they never have issues like this. Our blockchain will never go down since the only reason for it going down would be due to a hack, and our blockchain is unhackable.

Bitcoin, once again, comes out on top.
329  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: IS THERE A CHANCE THAT BTC WILL BE CONTROLLED BY THE GOVERNMENT? on: July 20, 2017, 01:57:57 AM
Hi

how about if all currencies will be known worldwide or if it will be acknowledged in all countries even coming to become the currencies of the world, what will happen to the value of each currencies, or better yet what will be the impact. Are banks will be their first enemy?
Gracias!

You forgot about something, Bitcoin gives freedom to the people because of 2 things.

1. Bitcoin is decentralized, which means the price of Bitcoin is not affected by anything the government does.
2. No one has access to the Bitcoin master keys, which means no one can control everyone's bitcoin. There is also a high chance that there is no Bitcoin master key that exists.

Bitcoin will never be controlled by the government since they just don't have the tech.
330  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: what determines the value of BITCOIN?? on: July 20, 2017, 12:42:25 AM
Hi folks,

As a newbie of this group,  i would just to clarify things with regards to the factors or what are the reasons why bitcoin will increase or vice versa. How can I determine the value of the bitcoin? Is it the prices of cryptocurrencies are driven by the laws of supply and demand—if more people want to buy, prices increase; if more people want to sell, prices decrease. Due to the nascency of and uncertainty surrounding cryptocurrencies (e.g., regarding regulation, technical challenges, enterprise adoption), supply and demand fluctuate wildly and hence, prices become volatile.
thank you for the enlightment!
Happy earnings! Grin
camsicuya

Supply and demand determines the price of a decentralised currency and in this case, Bitcoin.

As the demand for an item goes up and more people want bitcoin, then people will start selling bitcoin for a higher price, when the bitcoin eventually does sell, the price goes up and people will start selling them for an even higher price.

If the demand for an item goes down, and people aren't able to sell their bitcoin at a desired price, they will start selling low, and then the price would keep falling and the snowball effect will keep the price falling

If the supply for a product diminished, say some strange event killed all the blocks, bitcoin would rise in price, since there wouldn't be that much bitcoin available.

If the supply for a product rose, bitcoin would become cheaper since there would be more bitcoins avaliable.
331  Economy / Economics / Re: Could a country survive and maintain economic stability if it phased out cash? on: July 19, 2017, 10:43:22 PM
If a country entirely phased out cash and replaced it with digital currency would it become destabilized?

I think a country would be able to survive just using crypto, but there are some things to consider:

1. The country would have to be technologically advanced and able to support the blockchain and Bitcoin. It would also have to be very supporting of Bitcoin and support for bitcoin would have to be over 80 percent of the population.

2. The cryptocurrency would have to be trustworthy and would have to be able to support heaps of transactions a minute and still be running super well. A congested blockchain would not be good for business.

This would be interesting to watch for sure, and might actually happen sometime in the future.
332  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How About this kind of "Physical Bitcoin"? on: July 19, 2017, 10:33:29 PM
Something like this already exists. It's not made of paper but it has a similar idea as the one described by you.

It's called OpenDime.

"Opendime is a small USB stick that allows you to spend Bitcoin like a dollar bill. Pass it along multiple times. Connect to any USB to check balance. Unseal anytime to spend online. Trust no one."

Website: https://opendime.com/
Bitcointalk Thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1452987.0

Seems to be the most similar thing to what OP is searching for right now, even though it still requires a USB connection, not fully physical but seems to be the closest thing. Opendime is hardware wallet that allows you to spend your Bitcoin via a USB connection. The problem with opendime, it is much more of a one time use thing, other than something that can be reused over and over again.

I think if this idea was implemented into an ICO with the sole goal of making it renewable and relatively fast I think it would be super successful.

This is a new way of thinking, and I like it.
333  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM] [CRYPTOPAY.ME] They SCAM you before you even start. on: July 19, 2017, 09:59:36 PM
Probably just a super bad case of misleading advertising, at least you were able to refund the purchase. You should consider using other services to buy bitcoin debit cards, try using more reputable services. If contacting support doesn't work, maybe the threat of a lawsuit will make then hurry up and help you. Try contacting them on other forms of social media, maybe twitter or facebook.

Also pretty sure that misleading advertising is illegal everywhere in the world so you could report them.
334  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why use Bitcoins ? on: July 19, 2017, 09:43:40 PM
Why use Bitcoins ?

I keep seeing threads on “why don't people” ? The real question to me is Why would they ?

-The average consumer will go way out of their way to save money. Bitcoins cost more.
-The average consumer will usually pay a little extra to have convenience. Bitcoin is less convenience and more hoops and complications.

I just cannot see any reason for the average consumer to use Bitcoins. Until average consumers start using Bitcoins they will just be an experiment and a small speculative bubble.

I have my personal reasons, I am interested Bitcoins them as a tech person, speculative investor and person that follows evolving treads and markets. I am just struggling to see any.. benefits for the average consumer at this stage.

Bitcoin was not designed in the way you are describing it. Bitcoin was not made for people to use it to buy groceries and everyday spending with. It is meant as an investment option, similar to gold.

Bitcoin is also fairly anoymous, especially if you use multiple addresses. Think of bitcoin as gold and compare them. They re both investments but Bitcoin has the abilibity to be spent online.
335  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where are the real bitcoiners? Those who wanted to fight against the banksters? on: July 19, 2017, 09:33:15 AM
I'm sad, I don't see bitcoiners anymore. Everybody only talk about money, money and money.
When I begun in 2012, I remember a lot of people talking about to figh against banksters and centralizations. Satoshi were our god and their ideals our bible but now Money is the god and I'm the atheist in the middle of this church full of newbies, haters, dumbs and greeddy's people.

Where are them?

Firstly what is so bad about the banks. I know how they are pretty annoying at times but they are the backbone of our markets and we wouldn't be so developed without them. How do you think you would be able to bug a house if mortgages didn't exist since you killed the banks? In 2012 not that much people knew about bitcoin, so what would they do of banks closed, would you force them to use bitcoin?
336  Economy / Services / Re: Wanted to increase my Gmail - Storage 100GB to more on: July 19, 2017, 09:23:43 AM
Dear All,

Wanted to increase my Gmail account storage from 15GB to 100GB or more in my Gmail account. Ready to pay.

Please give your offer

Note: I want to increase only my existing account  not ready to create new gmail account

Well if you want to increase your existing account it wouldn't be possible since the only offers you will get are from people who will offer you cracked Google accounts that have been paid for.

Why don't you just directly off Google since it isn't that much, to my knowledge it should only be 5 or 10 dollars and you also get an expanded google drive space.

PS: deleting some emails may clear some storage.
337  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Furwin Scammer on: July 19, 2017, 09:18:17 AM
I feel sorry for you, but your idea won't work. You are being too kind and forgetting that people are sometimes horrible human beings. I could think of heaps for ways for people to scam bitcoin this way, say person one fakes the scam and gets a newbie account banned and receives compensation. You can always make more accounts. Also who would fund this?
338  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Warning: Mistertango Bank/Exchange on: July 19, 2017, 09:03:24 AM
Oh that sucks, they have no right to so such a thing, and that sanction claim is so bs. I think you should take legal attention to this, I don't think that mistertango should be allowed to just play with money like that. I would recommend you trying to find another site to do crypto arbitrage on and trying contacting their support again to see if they will refund your 500 pounds, but I don't think there will be much chance of them repaying you.
339  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Nagadota is a scammer, running ponzi faucet on: July 19, 2017, 08:49:56 AM
What happened: I had some BTC to gamble so I "invested" 0.1BTC on www.claimwith.me . A few hours later users started reporting they couldn't withdraw from the faucet/ponzi anymore. I could never withdraw anything, there is an error every time. Nagadota has not been seen on the forum for several days, when things went south.

Scammers Profile Link: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=679368

Amount Scammed: 0.1BTC
Payment Method: BTC
Proof of Payment: 195e28e69dd5a1cc47be6b1c6bb3f52a8f4d53a9bbce2219b1c70eaeafdb35ad receiving address 3AjoheCREA3aGEWZEw4nwVwUmCoNPnPoLV

Additional Notes: the account was certainly bought, my main goal is for the account to have very negative trust to warn others. I also reported the thread because people are still putting money into this.

Well that's unlucky, you got yourself in a bit of a jam, but he was already flagged with negative trust from DT which should have been a red flag for you. Next time to avoid situations like this, try not to be that greedy and also inspect the users profile to see if he is legitimate or not. You could have avoided this whole thing if you just looked at his trust.
340  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Is poloniex scamming customers on: July 19, 2017, 08:16:15 AM
Yeah it seems like polenix is getting a bit dodgy, just recently there was a thread made in services which talked about some trying to transfer ethereum but it took a super log time and it is still pending. The site may be having issues die to August the firstcoming JP son and I would recommend pulling out just to be safe for now.
