322  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ANN: BITMAIN has Tested Its 28nm Bitcoin Mining Chip BM1382 on: June 18, 2014, 06:19:51 PM
Take my money already.
When Bitmain opens sales it will be sold out in 24h

Bitmain has cash to mint those ASIC chips like post stamps.
Bitmain will trash the difficulty with prooven ability to ship out 30000 miners

~Huhu difficulty will explode.
Shipping most cost effectively manufactured miner will be best business plan.
No need for dodgy powersupplys or beaglebones that corrupt SD cards.

This miner is killer by design.

Make it cheap. Sell it cheap. Ship out.
323  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: June 17, 2014, 06:50:01 PM
It was publicly known secret from China

Publicly known secret from China huh ?

I have no doubt Bitmain is working away on the S3 but that is different than saying that they are taping out *soon*.

Haha. Ok froget it then.
Lets say they have nothing coming for now or near future. Was offtopic anyway.
tapeout wont be announced

/cheers for all happy customers who managed to get KNC refund processed. KNC goal was datorhall all along.
324  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: June 17, 2014, 06:36:42 PM
Bitmain next gen. is taping out soon.

Source ?

It was publicly known secret from China bitcoin meetings some weeks back or was it held in May. Bitmain were to tape out June/July. Nothing that public... but scene knows they are gonna come out with new chip for very good Antminer S2 unit blade design.
325  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: June 17, 2014, 06:24:09 PM
Also thats At-The-Wall numbers, take into account 80% efficiency PSU's and thats easily 0.56W chip level consumption. Not too bad really.

Yeah, a 20nm chip that's about as efficient as Spondoolie's 40nm chip. Spondoolie's 28nm chip will slaughter KnC.

+1

Talk about fail. KNC have no advantage from 20nm. It is the same Jupiter chip just made with more expensive technology with minimal gain. This chip loses by design.
Bitfury can do almost the same with 55nm at datacenter level using hundreds of cheap chips.
While KNC is making CPU style chips which all need active CPU fan cooler. Fail from desing, blade style miner with many chips is more cost effective to make + cool.
Big big fail they will lose 2014.

Bitmain next gen. is taping out soon.
28nm and will be next best chip.
326  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: New 2TH/S miner (1W/1GH/S) on JUNE, 6 Blade, US$1.49/GH/S on: June 16, 2014, 10:47:41 PM
Any plans to visit this factory and check out this new unit? I would like to hear a review of how loud it is. I'm at 4 BTC right now, should be able to afford this within the next 1-2 weeks.

I spoke with Amanda last friday, she talk about the Avalon 2T, I am not an Avalon fan, but I will call her tomorrow and buy an Avalon 2T to do a review for you guys.

I possibly could buy this unit from you. After you check quality and chipcount. Its good deal untill Innosilicon drops A1 chip price, they can affort to drop it its better chip.
Underclocking A1 you could make similar 2T miner, Innosilicon is just riding with chip price now.

Still 1T miner 1-1,2kw psu is current sweet spot for efficiency in cooling power and price. Its no rocket sience you need more air to cool 2kw from same size of box.
Anything over 1kw psu need will raise production costs, cooling needs and so on.

Next cheap miner needs new chips, let it be Antminer S3@ 1kw or new Innosilicon chips or...

-edit~
Meh 67kg froget shipping it overseas.
Maybe Chinese can mine with these locally while Avalon is supplying cheaper chips than Innosilicon.

329  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: LIGHTNINGASIC LA100M,100MHS SCRYPT Miner, USD1999; LA1THS, USD1750.shipped out! on: June 11, 2014, 07:32:30 PM
Just made full ROI today on my 2 machines in 23 days..

So to all the haters, i love you LightningAsic..

(btw i ordered 1x90MH/ 1x75MH miner)

EDIT: This was lots of work, and mining coins that gained lots of value / market manipulation

BOOYAH!

I also congratulate if someone has paid off his hardware.
But it's like 18000$ equipment used to mine 5000$ worth coins that gained market value boost to 18000$
Oh well it is fun.

Alternative is to buy treding coins for 18000$ and ride the pump to the MOON

-edit-
I agree mining is fun experience and it is no easy achievement to get positive profits so fast with these prices.

I congratulate.  Grin
330  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [WORLDWIDE]Bitmine - 950 GH/S 1500 USD - Next day delivery. on: June 11, 2014, 06:12:21 PM
I ordered from Lightningasic they held my btc 8days, before giving no ship status. Thankfully i got refund almost the same.

I placed order for this bit-tech, very smart move i paid trough escrow ognasty, after initial confirmation 1 week and they said no ship. Ognasty refunded.

Now my bet is with pcfli and waiting for shipping hes good guy.
What is common with all sellers here is they mine for good 1 week with clients equipment to increase profits. Every day delayed is 20$ pure profit for the seller.

Bit-tech seems outright scam right now.

331  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Antminer S1 Sales open] Price changes daily, now 0.414 BTC for 180GH/s on: June 09, 2014, 02:24:27 PM
Dear  Customers,
The production of Antminer S1 is discontinued, except for the warranty parts reservation.

Happy Mining  Wink

BITMAIN

Holding on to my S1's, hopefully the value will go up again like the Asicminer USB's did.

I have 3 running downclocked and downvolted.

I will hope for a btc price rise to cause an s-1 price rise to 350-400 usd each.

I paid 520usd  for these 3  and I have earned .4btc with them.

Every single Antminer S1 ever sold by Bitmain already has made ROI or still makes it.
No other Hardware  vendor of 2014 can make that.

S2 is diffrent story. Kinda makes you want S1 design with new chips.
332  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: LIGHTNINGASIC LA75M,75MHS SCRYPT Miner, USD8800; LA1THS, USD1950.shipped out!!! on: June 08, 2014, 11:32:09 PM
This company's rating has changed in the Manufacturer Trustworthiness Guide.

Promoted to A? Really?

Delivering yes, but ontime? Only if you're lucky.
My shipment from them had more than 2 weeks delay. Promised  compensation and still nothing, Jack and lightningasic do not respond about it.

that is fucking bull shit, you have got to be kidding me. i use the lightningasic.com website and get jacked and post the tx id and this guy gets to buy a rating from... well so much for your manu trust guide.. its meaningless now
whatever how do you post rumors here, everyone payed get their miner or refund. don't be silly here.

334  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official BITMINE CoinCraft series 28nm ASIC miners thread on: June 05, 2014, 05:45:47 PM
Is bitmine even shipping *anything* right now?  They have not updated their prices since last year,  and the last order batch they had was due in May.  I'm hoping they were able to deliver those,  right?  Surely they have the process/supply chain figured out by now?

Does anyone here have a may/late april order?

They are not shipping, they become next Hashfast with only assets left are paid chips they have in stock
335  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official BITMINE CoinCraft series 28nm ASIC miners thread on: June 05, 2014, 05:43:21 PM
"Bank limits" was the mantra of MtGOX

It may well be the same kind of "bank limits": insufficient funds.
Cashflow problems donīt mean a company is defaulting.

The problem is that manufacturers have equipment and components and chips that they need to assemble and ship to customers.
They have to use atleast parts of their money to buy all this.

I would give them some time to ship to existing customers, eventually everyone should receive their gear and if they want to their refund.

Company that has no income to get steady cashflow will default. Bitmine has had no sales for few months as none would buy their overpriced products not now or not in future. They cannot compete at this market making miners in Swizerland when they dont own their chip. Chinese are doing same miners for 30% production costs.

Innosilicon managed to make scrypt-asic without Bitmine. They can surely make next gen asic for bitcoins without Bitmine. Same time Bitmine trys to resolve their own incompetence and avoid inevitable banckrypcy. This company is done. Only income they have is mining. Preorder money went to ordering and paying chips 6 months ago, they had 3 months head start to make miners before Innosilicon opened chips sales to everyone.. they failed to make that miner in time.

In Shenzen ex works price for "bitmine" chips miner of 1T is 1200-1300$ now.

336  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: 【LIGHTNINGASIC GROUPBUY】1.5TH - 2500 USD - FREE SHIPPING IN 48 HOURS on: June 03, 2014, 07:33:43 AM

338  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: *** GHash.IO mining pool official page *** on: June 01, 2014, 09:14:09 PM
The answer is very simple - don't use them. There are warnings about this outfit scattered all over these forums, even on this very thread.

Use a reputable pool, do some background checks - the info is out there, you just have to search a little.

Big is sexy
339  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: AntMiner S2 1TH/s Kit Sales Open, official sales price $2260 per Kit on: May 31, 2014, 11:50:10 PM
S2 is 640x 55nm chips so they need 64000 chips to make another 100 miner Group buy batch. I doubt they will order more chips from foundry, current stock is what they got. Maybe DIY miners are sold from factory mining operation.

I dont know what 64k chips cost from foundry but they can get 120k$ max from 100 miners. ex works
Not worth it.

S2 design is great but needs new chip.

Old old chips sale thread.

Hints from china bitcoin conference. Bitmain has yet taped out the new chip but are scheduled to do so end of June or in July.

Bitmain is company who wants to ship out from stock so they pepare full launch.

As i see it current products are priced for people who really want to buy hardware when its not wort to produce them in volumes anymore. Bitmain needs thousands of cases for S3 awesomeness launch.

Time to hodl.
You cannot mine your investment of S2 to buy S3 in 2 months.
