321  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Email address exposure in spreadsheet on: December 08, 2020, 11:26:30 PM
Bounty managers please kindly start hiding emails in your spreadsheet because I always like using new email for bounty participation and I surprised that there are many offer mails in my email account, some are free airdrop some are affiliate marketing offers, I still remember that some people are selling email addresses online, it will be easier for such people to go through bounty spreadsheet and pack the whole email address

When I was active int he altcoin bounty hunting I seldom encounter bounty campaign that I ask for emails but there are a lot of airdrops that asked for emails if I encounter one I just use a spare email where I created specifically for my traffic lists and airdrop offer, most of these offers just landed in the spam emails.
322  Economy / Economics / Re: Economy after COVID-19 on: December 08, 2020, 04:45:07 PM

Right now the pandemic is not showing any signs of a slowdown. Especially in regions such as the United States and the European Union, the number of new infections are rising. First the pandemic needs to be contained. Only after that, we can plan about any sort of economic recovery. Trends are looking bad, as the winter season is peaking in the northern hemisphere.

People in those regions are becoming very careless because they know that there's already a vaccine and it's a matter of time before the distribution, US and the European Union will have no problem getting the vaccine, they will be the priority because the vaccines come from their country and of course they will prioritize their people, it's the poor country that will have to wait.

Hello everyone, I know this a shitpost, but I'd like to become a Member, but I need 5 Merit. In what way can I get these 5 Merits?

You are already a junior member why you did not know where to create your thread, this topic should be in the beginners and help forum, not here in the Bitcoin Discussion section, better move this thread there, you can get merits by creating a good topic and contributing to a discussion
just improve your posting habit and you are good to go.
324  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Cryptopia on: December 07, 2020, 04:11:51 PM
I also received that kind of email but I have a second thought about participating, they will surely ask for KYC something that I don't because some of the coins I have there are shitcoins that do not have value anymore and some coins that will not amount to anything, it's ok for those who have a large number of coins/token here, they can proceed at their own risk.
325  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Anyone who have worked or currently working in casino? on: December 07, 2020, 03:11:32 PM
This one just came into my mind, since most gamblers are really losing money in a casino, I would like hear some advice from casino workers here on what to do as they are pretty much well expose to different scenario in a casino and probably know how to prevent getting ourselves in financial trouble.

Since we are anonymous here and your company would not know that you are the one who share that information here, please do so as this would create some exciting discussion. A worst scenario like a gambler losing a lot money or a gambler winning a lot of money.

Please share your experience.

A casino employee has a contract with their employer not to divulge anything about the casino they are working, this is to protect their interest they will be charged in violation of the contract if they do that, I doubt if they are going divulge anything in fact they will promote the gambling site and they will deceive in playing more and betting more.
326  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Great News! Abra Will Support Flare Netwrk Hard Fork and FLR dist to XRP Holders on: December 06, 2020, 02:25:39 AM

I recently transferred my XRP holdings from Abra to Uphold Wallet thinking that Abra will not support the Spark (FLR) distribution to XRP Holders.
Better late than never.

Abra will support Flare Network hard fork and Spark (FLR) distribution to XRP holders
327  Economy / Speculation / Re: Seems like the bullrun is over this year! on: December 06, 2020, 01:50:42 AM
I invested my daughter's savings 3 days ago yet the market is tumbling.
So, I lost some of her money due the current market conditions.

It's December, after all!
Are the bulls gone now or what?

You should have not invested your daughter's savings without understanding what you are investing into, we have a very popular saying here "only invest what you can afford to lose" you should understand this you are not doing research on how the market works you only care about greed this is the easiest way to lose your investment following your greed.

Old, meaning yung mga altcoins during 2017 to 2018.. may nag pump na ba?
329  Economy / Speculation / Re: 2013, 2017 bubbles and 2020 bull run on: December 05, 2020, 05:33:42 PM

Bitcoin bull run is from itself and Ethereum does not contribute to bitcoin bull run.

Ethereum has it's own bull run and it has no contribution to Bitcoin's bull run it is to each it's own, and besides Bitcoin dominance over all the coins makes it superior and no altcoins can add or contribute to it's status, all altcoins are still under Bitcoin, if Bitcoin crash the altcoins follow.
330  Economy / Speculation / Re: 3rd times the charm 20K on: December 05, 2020, 03:14:49 PM
here comes the 3rd time for 20K I think it's going to do it. Then 30K pretty quick

And I thought we are going to go $20000 after it hit $19,609.52 on the first days of December but now it's struggling to even go to the $19500 level it looks like we really need a big push coming from the whales or institutional investors, and why not they are going to help pushing it to another all time high if they want to.
331  Local / Pilipinas / Re: ATH na ba? on: December 05, 2020, 02:15:48 PM
I believe we will see a new ATH tonight as we welcome a new month .

Before, December nag ATH, pero I think November this time.

332  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How tricky is this? on: December 05, 2020, 01:54:57 PM
There's a saying by wanting more you lose a lot, it's hard to predict when you are going to lose gambling is base on luck, you never know what's going to happen in the next roll or bet, you just have to accept it as it is, no use crying over spilled milk, just don't be greedy and learn when to give up.
333  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting on Open ending events? Should casinos continue offering them? on: December 04, 2020, 09:20:31 PM
About the election fiasco, I think the problem was because the question is unclear. It should be "the next president," not "the election winner." Hence, we will get the president on the inauguration date. That said, there is still a chance that Kamala will be the next president. Biden is old already, who knows he won't be alive till January Grin

That's good to hold a contest if Biden can finish his terms, but I'm sure he can it's not about the old age but if he is still capable the way I see it he can still live for the next ten years, he is still strong can talk clearly and still has a sharp mind, Kamala can run for election she is capable of winning an election.
334  Economy / Economics / Re: Visa is getting more interested in Crypto on: December 04, 2020, 03:41:19 PM
We have a domino effect here companies are just watching on the outcome of PayPal integrating Cryptocurrency in their platform if it's successful then we can see many companies doing the same, we will see merchants adding Cryptocurrency in their platform and making it as one of the option of buyers, things are looking good for us now, and it's only a matter of time.
335  Economy / Economics / Re: How long will it take banks to phase out physical cash completely? on: December 04, 2020, 12:54:24 PM

Now the real question is, how long will it take banks to start the transition from physical to digital cash (CBDC)? Do you think that physical cash will still be used right after governments adopt CBDCs in their entirety? Or will it take decades before every single person in the world stops transacting with physical cash, paving the way for a full-fledged cashless society? Your input will be greatly appreciated. Smiley

The big question is will the government adopt CBDC, we must admit there are areas or sectors in our society that do not have an internet connection or had a very slow internet connection, here in our country there are rural areas where you have to go to the higher grounds or trees before you can get a signal, and ours is not an isolated case.
336  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Has anyone heard of lemmecoin? on: December 04, 2020, 05:05:26 AM
I had never heard of lemmecoin but suddenly got a notification from them on discord.  They look legit but there are some red flags as well.  Does anyone know anything about this exchange?

Thanks

There are hundreds of new coins coming from airdrop, giveaways and bounty campaign, what's so special on the coin and what it can offer to the community, if it's a pump and dump coin let us just forget there's been a lot of pump and ump coin in the market already, if there are red flags then it don't look legit, you cannot be legit and have red flags.
337  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it possible to live without banks? on: December 04, 2020, 03:44:09 AM
I would like to see how it can be done so far there is no one country or even city that is implementing no bank and only Cryptocurrency, there should be a framework on how it can be done and how it can be implemented or we will just end up wishing these things to happen.
338  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Mobile wallet is more important on: December 03, 2020, 01:45:11 PM
It's becoming a frustrating issue when new project you have interest in have no mobile wallet, for over a year and half now I've waited for a project to built their mobile wallet but nothing so far, what are developers thinking? We are in an era where by mobility is the best choice for most people, who still sits in from on a computer just to send coins ? You also have to keep syncing the coin blockchain too to stay updated.

Don't blame people for not investing when you aren't making things easier for them, mobile users are much more than PC users, dear developers start considering mobile wallet pls

This is one thing that a project to consider and should be on their road map, if they want to gain support, investors will think that they are here in a long term if they have a mobile wallet, because they do have a market and investors prefer to store their token/coin to mobile wallet, I have second thought investing and supporting project without it on a roadmap.
339  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Peter helping bitcoin pump? on: December 03, 2020, 12:00:38 AM
People are more educated and more intelligent than to believe in this kind of opinion, they are a search away if the information provided is correct or not, with so many good news coming and provided online, this kind of FUDS will go nowhere, in fact bad publicity is also helping the cause of Cryptocurrency.
340  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: In my school, Bitcoin is now becoming a subject on: December 02, 2020, 02:33:17 PM
I don't know if we're the same but in this school year (2020-2021) Bitcoin is now being introduced to our school, although it may not be introduced to other courses, since I am currently taking Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (BSIT) hence, we are to take Bitcoin and the history of BTC. It's actually great that schools are putting Bitcoin to their curriculum, with that, I got to share my experience with Bitcoin, I got the chance to share my knowledge about the history of Bitcoin and how much I benefited from this.

I also decided to post it here because I think this is a big leap towards the future, from people doubting about Bitcoin and now, people are heavily relying on it, being informed, buying bitcoins, learning the ways on how to exactly earn bitcoins.

Imagine if Bitcoin is being taught correctly on university and on special courses instead by some shills and FUDERS and so called experts, the world of Cryptocurrency will be better, because they will know what to look for and how to look and how to protect themselves from the wrong way, I'm looking forward to see Bitcoin as one of the subject here in our country.
