Do you offer local pickup in Lake Forest?? If so, do you offer a discount for local pickup?
+1. Did this get answered? And congrats on everything Good question, we have not decided yet. I will answer a bit later. So the answer is yes: 0.5 BTC will be taken off the price, for those who will choose local pickup.

Your calculations on theGenesisBlock ( http://mining.thegenesisblock.com/a/44fc645248) have September as the start date. The auction ends October 1st. After changing the start date to October it shows losses or at worst break even (if you stop using it in May) even at 15 BTC and 55% difficulty increases. This is a TGB flaw, see https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=303376.msg3249572#msg3249572When you set the date to October, TGB estimates an initial difficulty of 298M in the table, which is completely wrong: our auction ends in 2.5 days when difficulty will be the same as today: 149M.

The community's response to TAV has been outstanding so far. Thanks to all. If you would like to express your support for us, spread the word about us, add something like this to your bitcointalk signature: [glow=#cc0000,2,300] Redhash 105 Ghash/sec miner. In stock now! [/glow]
However we will not bribe people to add this code to their signature. We would prefer this support to be honest, not motivated by making a quick buck. We were going to bid for a forum ad slot, but auction round 97 ended before we could make it.

I would like to let the community know that we have received multiple offers to be able to "buy a unit now". That is something we would consider if the offer price is relatively higher than the highest bid price, and if the number of units being purchased is no larger than a dozen units (we would like at least some units to remain in the public auction.)

great work !
Can TAV host there (if so how much per month ?)
Unfortunately, we do not provide hosting services.

great work guys, this is what the mining community needs.
Thanks. I really hope that with Avalon gen2 chips, you guys will fix your distribution channel issues, and will improve your communication.

Agreed, industrial PSUs like this one cost less, have a neater form factor, fewer or no cables, etc.
For us, we tried to deviate as little as possible from Avalon's reference design, in order to reduce extra work and risk of delays, in case errors would have been made in redesigning even easy parts of the hardware like the power supply. Remember that, had the Avalon chips shipped on time, the timeline would have been very very short for vendors like us to ship devices ASAP.

2 @ 16
Would local pickup be available on a Saturday?
Yes. However the auction ends on Monday. Once the auction ends Monday night will the miners be available for pickup the next day? Yes.

I'll admit that nobody can predict the future, but you're asking us to risk 15BTC in order to earn 3BTC.
Well, that's +20% on your investment, pretty good by regular standards, and in this pessimistic scenario of 100% month over month (= 30% diff increase per 2016 blocks) our profitability still beats ALL asic vendors except HashFast: http://decentralizedhashing.com/bitcoin-mining-equipment-table/The question is: do you take the risk of an unproven HashFast preorder, or do you prefer an in-stock, already tested Redhash miner? :-)

I assume the miner comes with the Corsair Power Supply since you are showing the miner with PSU installed? What is the % of HW error rate at 328MHz? How overclockable is your miner? Is 328MHz the maximum stable speed? (Original Avalon miners are stable up to 350-360MHz) Are you using TP-LINK TL-WR703N to provide wired and wireless network interface? Is your miner using running Avalon cgminer software? If so, which version?
what he said Please keep technical discussion in Custom Hardware subforum. I replied to these questions here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=303376.msg3251136#msg3251136

what he said (Replying in correct thread). (I replied to realestone privately, but I figured I can do it here too). - Yes, we include a Corsair TX850M PSU with each Redhash. - % HW error rate: most machines are between 0.5 and 2.5%. A few are above that and we are in the process of identifying the few bad hash units. - We chose 328 MHz merely because it leads to a nice round 105 Ghash/sec number, while leaving some margin. Our redhash units should in theory be just as overclockable as the original Avalon (I personally tried 350 MHz on a few machines), but obviously TAV cannot make this guarantee. Besides, our 850W PSU was measured to be at 97-98% load when running at 350MHz. Higher o/c would definitely require a change of PSU. - Yes we are using WR703Ns, however we do not have an wifi antenna connector. - The WR703N runs the exact same firmware image as original Avalons.
