321  Economy / Speculation / Re: Self control cannot be neglected as an early investor on: February 13, 2024, 09:50:00 AM
You brought just one game and all hell broke loose? But remember that you have been DCAING into Bitcoin, so if you decide not to DCA this week and instead use the money to purchase a game, how is that the end? DCA lives on, the following week you will continue your DCA, why are you pained?

Your story is confusing, honestly, you already have some Bitcoin and till today I am still DCAing, it doesn't matter what the price of Bitcoin is, I am not ready to stop accumulating right now.

Also, we need to always remember ourselves, I can't do without gaming either, I do buy games when I can afford it, we only live this once, do what you love at times, it only gets bad when it's getting too much, enjoy yourself while you are accumulating Bitcoin for long term.

Always remember to LIVE while you are struggling for a better future.
322  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Would you quit gambling for a friend? on: February 12, 2024, 02:44:24 PM
If stopping my gambling activity will help someone to overcome their gambling addiction it sounds right and sit well with me, I can do it but I promise you that I won't land in such position in the first place, someone can't become a gambling addict because of me, t I don't keep such friends, I know people who are into gambling, we grow up from the same state and that's it, but I don't keep friends that are into gambling because I doubt they can control themselves like I do.

I only know how to be a responsible gambler by myself, I can't promise that others will be like me, and I don't want to risk it, normally gambling can be a reason why I won't become a friend with someone, because many of gamblers are too reckless, in the case of gambling only you knows what you are capable of, bringing someone along won't end well.
323  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Management on: February 12, 2024, 01:47:46 PM
I often run out of funds due to gambling that is too blind in terms of placing $$ on every bet I make and ends up losing. I do multi-bets and single-bets, every time I win, sometimes I forget myself and use all my $$ on the next bet. This sometimes gives me big wins, but if I'm unlucky I can lose all my funds and this has happened many times.

I started to realize and change my habits. Now I use $$ from the profits from the previous bet to place the next bet and save my initial capital.

What do you think, is this good and can help me overcome losses that will occur so that $$ remains safe and can be used in future betting? Are there other unique ways that you can use to grow your money in gambling? feel free to comment. Thanks
Whenever I get lucky via gambling I keep some part of the money for weeks long of gambling without taking money from my pocket, your winnings can come in handy if you prefer to keep gambling for a long period of time.

There is nothing that has a better feeling using free money to gamble, the calmness that you are using part of your winning to gamble for weeks is the best for me, unlike many gamblers that spend every penny out of gambling and later come back to hoping to get a fresh amount of money via gambling.

Know how to manage your wins, use some for better courses in your life and use some for further gambling activities, if you win a thousand dollars you already have enough for few month gambling if all you risk per week is around $10 or $20.
324  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If I bet big I lose, but if I bet small I win on: February 12, 2024, 12:34:17 PM
Then keep using small money to win, it's even better that you are winning using small money, it's like the casino is keeping you in check, to avoid getting addicted to gambling, why complains?

You aren't even suppose to risk a lot of money on gambling in the first place, it's not a responsible way of gambling, so if you are winning with big amount doesn't mean you should continue using big amount, ask yourself if you can afford to lose the big amount first.

Gambling was suppose to be fun, but many people turn it into a source to make money, which doesn't make a lot of because gambling needs your good luck to get positive result.
325  Economy / Gambling / Re: Which Casino and Sportsbook have the best UI? Which others can improve? on: February 12, 2024, 10:35:10 AM
The UI have to be attractive, since it's the first landing page or view when gamblers visits a casino, that's why it's very important to come up with a stylish looking UI but it doesn't ends here, what's the use of UI when gamblers are having a bad time on a casino? I have abandoned few online casinos even with their good looking UI design, I don't care about it much.

If I spend months on a casino with a good looking UI, and I keep losing, should I keep going on because the UI is looking good? How about going for a mediocre rated UI casinos and have a good gambling time with not so many bad luck?

I care a bit about looks but what is the most important is the experience I have on the online casino, it must be favouring to me after spending few months on the casino or else I will abandon the casino, I use what I can afford to lose but the long term play on the casino must favour me after spending the max of two months.
326  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Have you met this kind of investors? on: February 11, 2024, 03:27:08 PM
Common quote from Robin Jones Gunn, you may or may not have heard about it, but is "You go alone, you go fast, you go with people, you go far". Have you met anyone who knows about bitcoins, and then you tried to introduce them to this forum to come join this community, but they refused? I like to see what maybe their reasons where.
I am just over relating that quote to bitcoins; do you have the opinion that lone investors who are not members of any kind of forum or community about bitcoins or cryptocurrency can still be very successful investors?
I've read about few people who don't know this forum and still be able to buy and hold Bitcoin, they forget about it and move on with their lives, it was the same that those early whales did, they avoid the present price action and focus on the future.

I have referred some people to this forum before but they are not active anymore, simply because they aren't confused enough, some are just too lazy to be active and learn something about Bitcoin, they lose faith easily.

There are many people that are so lazy about everything, and crypto is a complicated place for beginners, if they don't have that desire to know about Bitcoin and crypto they will easily give it all up and walk away.
327  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you have a habit of tracking your gambling progress? on: February 11, 2024, 02:50:50 PM
It's not an investment, why track it? You will only feel like tracking when your loss is too much due to you risking a lot on gambling, you are definitely doing something wrong, this is the only thing that could prompt you into checking the past data.

It's like saying you go back into checking how many tickets you have bought in the past months when you visit the cinema with your family, like how much can a ticket cost to make you decide to do some calculation on just tickets?

If you can't afford it, then don't do it, this is same with gambling, if you are the type that cares so much about how much you've spent on gambling I think it's better not to be a gambler, you have money that you aren't ready to lose, such is bad for gambling, don't do it.

328  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Taking a break in gambling on: February 11, 2024, 12:18:23 PM
It's not necessary to take a break if you are a gambler who doesn't gamble every week, or someone who only games two days in a week, we have seven days in a week and if two days, with few minutes or a hour max is your gambling session what type of break will you need anyway?

I like telling people to always limit their gambling time and days, this is compulsory to put everything in the right order, you will have time with your own life and not wrap your head around gambling gains only, you will also be able to practice risk management and stand by your strategy.

Spending too much time on casinos is not good for you, take some days off by choosing one or three days in a week as your max gambling days, the other days that are not your gambling days are enough for you to think and do things right.
329  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you ever introduced an elder gambler to online betting? on: February 11, 2024, 10:31:06 AM
Since when is some older people starts getting interest in today's technology? How are you introducing gambling to older people when they can't even operate a Gmail account not to talk of login into a casino website? Some stories are not making sense to me on here.

I have older people but none of them care about anything technology today, they don't even want to learn how to operate a smartphone, they believe that the world is in mess today because of all these technologies.

I believe that this place is full of fake stories, how can you introduce gambling to your father? They should be the one you are going to hide your gambling activities from, they will feel unease when they know about your gambling activities, because they mostly know better, they know that you can easily lose your way, older people always stay away from gambling, it's very clear that this is what's happening.
330  Economy / Speculation / Re: Signs you should know to take profit from your crypto investment on: February 08, 2024, 04:34:38 PM
As a crypto investor, either in Bitcoin or altcoins, you must set a target for profit taking, because you can't time the Top perfectly, many people have end up riding the bear market over again because they failed to take profit, and that's because they need something to tell them that the top is achieved, which is impossible.

When Bitcoin beats it's old ATH you should take some profits off your portfolio, this is my own plan, once Bitcoin reach 70k I will sell 20 percent of my holdings into USDT and the next sell off will be at 80+ and counting, maybe another 40 percent of my holding then.

There is no way you will lose if you gradually take some profits off the table, and make sure you are contented with what you are getting, you don't want to be a greedy type in an ongoing bull market.
331  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you beleive in the concept of "Luck"? on: February 08, 2024, 03:35:56 PM
Luck always happens, even in games that are 100% based on skills, I am a strong believer in luck, but at the same time I don't go around looking for forceful luck when gambling, it's the mistake that many gamblers are making, and most people don't believe that some days are bad days, there is no amount of money you can risk on gambling you won't win on that same day, withdraw all your savings from your bank account into your gambling account you will lose everything.

Luck is not something that comes when you needed it, luck is like uninvited guest, when you needed it the most it won't come and when you don't want it or when you are not expecting to get lucky you will, is this something that someone should depend most of their time and focus on?

Nobody knows when good luck will come knocking, that's why you should find luck by all means, just keep gambling normally, the lower the money you risk the longer your days in the land of trying your luck,
332  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: This was my highest risk. on: February 08, 2024, 02:25:05 PM
The best thing about gambling is the possibility of winning, that's all there is, but the end result will most likely be loss, I will never buy a bet from someone even if they are pro when it comes to gambling, I don't want to follow anyone in this gambling thing, my plan is to keep improving in skills that will be more useful to my life in future, not gambling and hoping for near impossible luck.

My highest I risked on gambling isn't even up to a hundred dollars and I have risks hundreds of dollars on different digital assets since this bear market started, I did this because investing is way better than gambling for me, I have past experience picking the right assets for good returns and even while we are still in a bear market now it still looking good.

You don't have to risk a lot on gambling, most times it's like throwing money away, the little you risk the better it will be, no negative impact in your life because you are into gambling, you will be a responsible gambler risking so less amount.
333  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How's problem gambling different from compulsive gambling. on: February 08, 2024, 01:33:25 PM
Problem gambling and compulsive gambling have one thing in common, that's addiction, try hard to differentiate the two it still ends with gambling addiction.

The more time you spend in gambling the faster you become addicted, when gambling becomes the first thing stealing your attention everyday you are slowly becoming addicted.

Too much of everything is not healthy, it becomes addiction and the fun that a nor mal gambler should get will be lost since you want to win, it's your main goal, spare money is the best when it comes to gambling, it's not worth 10% of your income.
334  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Wrong Moves With Your Bitcoin on: February 07, 2024, 05:10:23 PM
There were times when I regret selling my Bitcoin for less amount of money and few months later it surged massively, the thing that calm my mind was me thinking how I will solve the problem I had then if I don't sell that bitcoin.

The reason why life is fun is the adventure we battle while striving, I don't regret selling that Bitcoin after deeply thinking about it, I got it in the first place to beat the hard times and it did, I later did well in my life since then.

No one can predict what will happen tomorrow but it's a must to keep taking risks like investing, this is a good way to be successful in life, it's good to hold your Bitcoin for the long term, but if a reason comes for you to spend it do not think about it too much, you will get it back, remember, even our lives are not guaranteed.
335  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling sites and current transactions fee on: February 07, 2024, 04:02:47 PM
It's not a must to transaction using Bitcoin, it will be stupid if a online casino today only accept Bitcoin for gambling purposes.

There is nothing anyone can do about high transaction fee of Bitcoin, there will be time when it will be fair, like presently, and there will be times where it won't.

You can opt for Tron USDT or other, LTC and Doge coin are cheap alternatives too, and I believe that many online casinos are now accepting many digital currencies, I still prefer Tron more than anything else, it's the number one on my list for gambling reasons.
336  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Selling a property to play gamble on: February 07, 2024, 03:13:59 PM
Like someone whom spell was cast upon  Grin

It's a crazy world we live in, today people still get punished for what they don't know, this is why education is a must, the meaning of gambling alone carries everything you should know about gambling, when you hear predictions and luck you should have know what's coming.

For someone to sell their properties for gambling reasons sounds like a true madness, something that's only possible if they are bewitched or under the spell of a voodoo practitioner, still it happens, because I have heard about it a lot in my country.

If something like this happen to someone I know I won't dare feel sorry for them, they saw it coming and they deserve it, making money isn't this easy, and it will never be, you need to be a man of value, this is what will bring a lot of worth, success and riches in your life.
337  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Rich or poor gambler, who should risk more? on: February 07, 2024, 02:17:11 PM
Having more money doesn't mean you should risk more money on gambling, having less money equals the same thing, apart from this gambling discussion, in the real world those who progress easily learn to live under their means, just because you can afford something doesn't make it the right thing to do at the time.

Having thrice as much as what you intend to spend money on makes it affordable for you, if you can live under your means you will grow faster and you won't go broke, there will be some money on ground for investment and taking risks e.g gambling, which ever category you belong, it doesn't mean anything, a rich man who worth hundred million dollars will instantly go broke if he use everything to place bet.

The trick of becoming a smart gambler is slowly giving away some money, very little amount till your day turn green in your favour, you don't want to go broke just to get by everyday before your luck arrives.
338  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Another health benefit of online gambling on: February 06, 2024, 05:05:35 PM
Thank God Covid19 is behind us now, for those saying that some people don't even know how to operate a smartphone or get online, like older people, how did they survive the lock down period? They must have been able to beat gambling addiction then if they sit at home and can't gamble for several months.

I haven't witness someone contacting a viral disease in a casino before but it's possible, Covid was one of the most effective virus that easily get spread in a crowded location, it would have been a disaster if people in a casino came in contact with someone who has the virus.

I know that offline casinos have it's advantages too but the disadvantages are high in number compare to a online casino, and the biggest threat is people in the casino with knowing you just hit a jackpot or a fight break out in the casino, the privacy of online gambling is unmatched.
339  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling mistake repeated by the gamblers on: February 06, 2024, 03:54:39 PM
I'm guilty of this when I was just starting my venture in gambling, I was like hitting when the iron is still hot I believe in this saying in many situations but it's too late to find out that it will not work in gambling, I was so greedy back then that I thought that I can make money from gambling if I can create a winnable method, I was in searched for the best method I can apply on my betting so I can win some more, I even explore martingale because the theory looks good on study but unfortunately I found out that it will not apply on gambling.
I too fall victim of this. There were times I would win and think I am better than before and think I am becoming more professional in gambling. But later I will start losing and lose all my money and always find myself losing than winning at the end. That is just gambling. We should not be greedy.

There was also a time I was given a tip that a particular game was going to be fixed by players and teams I was so greedy that I even pawned my watch so I could bet more so I could win more until I found out that it was fake news.
You should never apply greediness to gambling, there's a lot of uncertainty in gambling, and if you cannot moderate your greediness you will be a step closer to becoming addicted to gambling.
This has happened to someone that I know before but I told him not to bet on the fixed matches because it was from French Lique 2 and they were two matches. He later gave it a try and lost. My friend used small amount of money to gamble with the matches and lost the two.
I can relate, it's very hard to control your feeling when things are working like you wanted, this is happening to Bitcoin and alt investors too, once a new ATH is happening they aren't going to start taking profit, they believe that the surge is just getting started. I remember in 2020 retailers start running back into the market after Bitcoin reached 17k.

I sometimes avoid gambling for my own sake, whenever I am earning less amount of money I don't want to think about gambling at such period of time, it's too risky, as I could end up trusting my gut that I can make some money in gambling which could end up a mess.

When you are broke, don't think about gambling, when you have some spare amount of money is the best time to gamble, if things are going side ways in your job or business stay away from gambling, thinking about gambling in such hard time can prompt you into taking risks you are not ready for.
340  Economy / Gambling / Re: Does anyone find the spate of online casinos a bit uninspired? on: February 06, 2024, 02:59:30 PM
Why bothered about clone casino websites? Just do your own research before you start using any online casino, the higher their reputation the better your experience will be, I mean their security and safety wise, avoid brand new online casinos the most, they come in different colors.

There is nothing anyone can do to stop these people from trying to get rich by copying other successful casinos, it's left for the people visiting such websites, this is why it's better to use this forum for choosing any casinos for gambling reasons.

If you are looking for online casinos using online search engine, you are doing it wrong, the best place to find the best online casinos is on this forum, to avoid unfair treatment from some bad online casinos that's why you must use this forum instead.
