321  Economy / Gambling / Re: Gamblex - Bitcoin Entropy Betting System on: May 21, 2024, 11:16:10 PM
Quite risky, mate. Just a Bitcoin address without any assurance about your reputation raises concerns. It would be better if you also had a registered website so that if someone wants to complain, they have someone to go after. Simply looking at it, it appears like a Ponzi scheme because of the intro that says "double your money."

Honestly, I didn't read everything you wrote because, from the very start, it already looked suspicious. Sorry, but I think you need to present it better to look more convincing since that address you provided would receive money, and we're not even sure how you'll process the payment or if you'll process it at all.
322  Economy / Gambling / Re: Nitrobetting.eu - Unmatched BTC Betting and Entertainment 🎰📈🏀⚾🏈⚽ on: May 21, 2024, 12:15:11 PM
I'm wondering what sportsbooks now offer free withdrawals. I use Duelbits, and I'm not sure if they charge because I normally gamble using altcoins. Altcoins already have lower transaction fees, so it doesn't hurt as much compared to casinos that charge fixed fees which is over the actual network fee.

Yeah, free withdrawals are very rare now. I think sportsbet.io has them (at least until 6 months ago). BC.game has 1 free withdrawal per day if you are at VIP level 38 and higher. Stake's fees are ok as well I think.

I have no problem with Stake mate, their withdrawal fees are very reasonable. I think we shouldn't expect free withdrawals now, but as long as the fees are reasonable and the casino has a good reputation, that's already good to go. With the volatility of network fees nowadays, casinos are forced to adjust their fees as well. However, like I mentioned, with altcoins, everything is cheaper and quicker.

Great job to BC.Game for offering one free withdrawal per day. That's good enough I guess, we just have to control ourselves and not withdraw more than once a day. Now, it's a competition to see which casino can provide the best service, and that's good because it gives us gamblers many options to choose from.
323  Economy / Gambling / Re: Nitrobetting.eu - Unmatched BTC Betting and Entertainment 🎰📈🏀⚾🏈⚽ on: May 20, 2024, 02:48:05 PM
IIRC, there is not withdrawal fee and they only accept bitcoin. When they rebranded, I don't like the UI anymore as it doesn't load quick in my end, and I'm quite surprising with the high fees they are charging for a network fee while now fees are already cheap.
On their other site, they used to have a fee of 0.1 mbtc then after some time they started introducing free withdrawal requests for their regular users, so maybe they've done the same with nitrobetting.

NitrogenSports was my favorite before the time of Stake and Duelbits, which are now the most popular sports betting platforms for me. Previously, NitrogenSports' main competitor was Cloudbet, but I didn't like Cloudbet's manual withdrawal processing period. Those were the good early days of my gambling journey and it was fun, but nowadays it's even more enjoyable with more options to gamble.

324  Economy / Gambling discussion / When you are confident with your picks, do you win most of the time? on: May 19, 2024, 10:42:26 PM
I would like to ask everyone here who is into sports betting for some advice. I've come to realize that maybe I should start fading myself. I've noticed that my recent gambling journey hasn't been profitable, so I'm thinking maybe I'm missing something. I tried an experiment by just recording my picks and then betting the opposite of my analysis. Surprisingly, this resulted in profitable betting.

So how about you? Have you ever thought of this idea when your picks aren't hitting? I mean, if we keep following how we think and feel with our picks and it doesn't translate to profit, there's no reason to continue following the same strategy. But are we comfortable with betting against our own picks just for the sake of fading ourselves strategy?
325  Economy / Gambling / Re: Nitrobetting.eu - Unmatched BTC Betting and Entertainment 🎰📈🏀⚾🏈⚽ on: May 19, 2024, 09:58:32 PM
Their trust rating looks good now but just because they rebranded and made a new bitcointalk account. The old account of them has some negative feedback.

The old one was very popular back then until they got the feedback, I'm one of the many users of this casino in the past and everything was easy that time, IIRC, there is not withdrawal fee and they only accept bitcoin. When they rebranded, I don't like the UI anymore as it doesn't load quick in my end, and I'm quite surprising with the high fees they are charging for a network fee while now fees are already cheap.
326  Economy / Gambling / Re: COINS.GAME | THE MOST REWARDING CRYPTO CASINO | SPORTSBOOK & CASINO on: May 19, 2024, 12:56:15 PM
As a regular player of this casino. I personally don’t encounter any problem playing on this casino. I just decided to stop playing here after multiple scam accusation that is not resolved properly and also the support stop visiting in the forum anymore which means playing on this casino will pure trust with the casino since our voice hear will not be heard.

I still play on very occasional cases but using normal size bankroll that I can afford to lose even if they hold it. I believe playing on this casino needs to be done with caution since there’s a lot of unanswered issue but personally I don’t have issue with them so far since my personal manager supports me properly most of the time.
That's the thing. They haven't been confirmed as a 100% scam site or anything. I used to play here now and then too and never faced any issues. It's just that their sudden exit from this forum(Temporary or Permanent) left many people perplexed.

To be called a scam casino doesn't mean they'll scam every gambler. even 1xbit who are being tagged as a scam casino in the forum stil have a lot of supporters that would say they are not scam. I guess representative, an active one is really important to maintain their announcement thread, otherwise, competitors can easily create a way to destroy them, anyway that's another side of the story, I just thought of that as I believe it's possible to happen.

They won't go far thanks to the rising accusations against them within this forum.
If they are not active here they might not see this, but if they'll notice it if their revenue will slowly decline as for sure they'll investigate on the possible  reasons.
327  Economy / Gambling / Re: House Edge on: May 19, 2024, 11:02:26 AM
very funny, when your opponent is the casino.
Do you actually care whether the house edge is 1% or 2%?
Of course, because house edge does tells your chances, a lower house edge the higher chances of winning although your chances is still below 50%.
This games with house edge are luck based game, mark that word luck becacuse that's all we need to win.
Bankroll management in this case is kinda important as well, but that's only to minimize your loses or stay within your range, if you know what I mean.

Do you want to win this casino?
Why do you gamble in the first place?
328  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🏆 AnonBet.net - No-KYC Slots and Sports Betting with Bitcoin [20 FREE SPINS] 🏆 on: May 19, 2024, 10:09:02 AM
First off, let me start by saying that the design of your site is not good for mobile device - if left in the portrait mode one would not be able to use your site properly unless I tilt it to landscape - please do well to work on your designs.

I tried spinning with the 20 free spins that were given to me and I managed to win a total of $24.20

I have tried to withdraw the money from my account to see if it will actually work or if it’s just to lure people into their site and then scam them. Currently, it’s still showing unconfirmed - I’ll come back in 24 hours time to give my report whether I received it or not.

For now it looks like a scam. A similar website template can be found on Google. Do not make any deposits to this casino!

I also won a little from these free spins and bet on my withdrawal. I’ll write what happens next with the conclusion, but I have doubts. They may cancel the withdrawal and ask for a deposit.

Hello there! The website is certainly not from a template, feel free to post what you believe was taken from google. We will post a message regarding the withdrawals and the short downtime after we address some more comments here.

I'm glad you replied. Take care of your reputation as you already have a negative feedback, not good in running your business here being tagged as scam casino. That's a lot of proving to do as this community can't easily be convinced with words only, so just a heads up, put all necessary evidence that would prove you are not here to scam.
329  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price is going to touch all time highs on: May 18, 2024, 11:58:23 PM
Bitcoin price has already touched 69000 thousand dollars, which is the highest price of 2021. So how reasonable do you think it is that the price of bitcoin will touch 70k dollar again if it takes another step forward?
Just think of this, if bitcoin can drop low and reach its dips, then most likely it also make a reversal and move upward until it ends with a new all time high. However, the problem here is when it’s going to happen as we can’t predict accurately the price movement of bitcoin. But I know it’s always possible for bitcoin to settle into a new all time high couple of months from now.
330  Economy / Economics / Re: Money is all wealth? on: May 18, 2024, 10:56:55 PM
Living in this era, whether we like it or not, we definitely need money to meet our living needs. Moreover, living in the city requires more money than living in the village. However, wherever we live, we still need money.
Money is undeniably the most necessary thing people need to survive. Even the richest men on earth still find money as irresistible for survival. However, I still believe money is only one factor that contributes to our general wealth. We need genuine love which money can’t buy, and we need peace and harmony that even money cannot guarantee. Money is not everything, but we can’t deny without money we can do nothing.
331  Economy / Gambling / Re: COINS.GAME | THE MOST REWARDING CRYPTO CASINO | SPORTSBOOK & CASINO on: May 18, 2024, 10:27:25 PM
Once a bad reputation is painted it's definitely hard to unpaint it and that's why any casino conducting their business should always manage it well and make sure to settle every issues around it, I can remember when bc.game one of the forum big casino too was having similar issues in respect to responding to customers complaint surrounding their business but they came back and actually rectified all issues and made their casino strong.
This is true, casinos should prevent this from happening as curing the reputation takes time and might result to losing loyal and potential gamblers. With the amount of money they can possibly make with a good reputation, they cannot neglect the scam accusations that will eventually destroy the business. In the competition, the main basis is the reputation, once you have that, everything will follow.

The thing is, regardless on how much the casino spent on their promotion but if they are unable to take care of their reputation, it will still end up to be worthless and just a waste of money. The forum is big with huge marketing potential, and since they started here,  I hope they'll keep their reputation clean by responding to the scam accusation and solve them if it has a solid basis.
332  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2023-2024 betting on: May 18, 2024, 09:46:21 PM
I'm probably going to be going against the grain with this pick but I'm taking okc +4.5.  They might not win but I think sga keeps this close.  With his ability to get to the line so easily I think he drives a ton this game.  Also with the pressure turned up I'm going to take the over 208.5. I think one or 2 of the quarters we will see a flurry of points scored.

Good luck and enjoy the game!

Going against the majority, that's a nice strategy. Well, honestly I am also not so comfortable betting on the Mavs spread in this game especially since Mavs came from a big win. I just feel that teams losing their previous game has a high chance of hitting that ATS. However, since it's the Mavs homecourt and the chance for them to close the series, that makes is very dangerous.

The last 3 games was under 206, so this line that is presented now is attracting the under bettors, with that, I think I would tail your over as most likely we are going to see a great shooting for both teams, especially the OKC who had been struggling with their outside shooting in the past few games.

I wonder if anyone here will receive payout considering that the promotion they are offering is too good to be true for no wagering requirements on profit while this casino doesn’t have any KYC that means the bonus is prone to abused if ever they will pay all the winners.

I saw many casino that offer this usually turns out to be a scam by luring people to deposit first before they can withdraw. If ever this casino will pay for the bonus, their casino UI/UX sucks which is very hard to trust even a single penny deposit for now.

In this kind of casinos where no KYC is needed, you just have to trust them but with caution. I explored the casino but honestly I don't like the UI much. I can't freely explore the site as it requires a user to register before we can see the content.  The UI is too simple, not so competitive with the existing ones, at least they tried to hire a good designer/ software engineer to make it more appealing to us gamblers.

This is just my honest feedback, I hope @OP will consider this as a constructive criticism.

so I don't know if this concern is legit. Anyway, the only one that could answer that is the casino/sports here. I'm sure if they can accept that huge bet, they should be messaging you to put your bet on them, no stake as you've mentioned, there are still a lot of popular sportsbook here like sportsbet.io, duelbits, and rollbit.

He is telling the truth about his high stake betting since he is known for doing that even before. He already lose a lot by doing this kind of risky bet multiple times and I remember that he once sponsored by his friend to gamble that resulted to a disaster losses.

You can all his previous bet history on his profile including this one https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5473696.msg63139593#msg63139593.

I believe the tag is related to editing the cash out amount on his bet slip but his original bet value is real.

Thanks for the link, that was very impressive, though I didn't see a million bet but over $100k per bet, that's a lot of money. However, if he is really betting that huge amount of money, why would he did such stupid thing editing the cash out amount, that would imply something that the bet slips he showed might be edited too?
335  Economy / Economics / Re: Buying Vs Renting a Home- Which is the right move? on: May 17, 2024, 11:59:06 PM

it really matters when you plan of how long you are going to stay in a certain place. if you have a kid and you give importance to his childhood friends and that he could have a life long friends, i guess buying would be better for he can have a place to call a home town.

if you are just in the place where you are called because you have a job. i think its best to just let your kids visit from time to time and just rent a place when you know you won't be staying for a long time.
Buying could be more appropriate if you plan to keep the place for good, like you have future plans there for investment or businesses. But if you are just here for some vacation or business, I do think renting could save more your money than buying the house.

However, if you have all funds ready to buy so you can finally own it and come back any time, I guess that would be better also. Once the ownership belongs to you, you can do everything about it or even selling it in the future for a much better price.
336  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you trust bitcoin holders? on: May 17, 2024, 10:59:36 PM
Bitcoin holders are some of the most patient, trustworthy people on the planet. Anybody who can hold their money in an asset that drops 70% & not flinch deserves the upmost respect. We are a rare breed of strong handed investors, nerves of steel. Bitcoin holders can be trusted more than most people.
But not all bitcoin investors have diamond hands, there are also many weak hands and have dumped their bitcoins. Additionally, I don't believe anyone can stay calm and not flinch when bitcoin drops more than 70% in value. I believe that even veteran investors who have experienced this many times cannot avoid being worried. But they know how to handle that situation better than newbies, so they can avoid panic selling.

That's why I said holding bitcoin is not easy and not too many people can do it. Many people often urge others to hold and buy the dip, but at that time how many people can keep calm and do that? It's always easier said than done.
Yes, hodling might seem so easy but actually it’s not. While majority would agree that hodling is the best guarantee to succeed for long term, but what we don’t know is that not everyone who holds end up profiting as weak hands would resort into losing their persistency and eventually lose in the end.

Yes, bitcoin holders can be trusted at some point, but not everyone is. Some can only be good at first but eventually find theirselves quitting at the end, simply because hodling is never easy as what majority believe.
337  Economy / Economics / Re: Ever dreamt of turning your passion into profit? on: May 17, 2024, 09:58:33 PM
As much as I like that idea, I really don't want to do that because I'm going to be seeing that I'd be hating that passion no matter how much I'd love that, money is a pollutant in my opinion and if I'm doing something that I'm passionate about then that means that I want some peace of mind and that will never become a thing when people order the stuff that I do for fun when I decide to make a profit out of it, sure there are some passionate people that would be able to turn it into a profit but I'm the kind that would rather starve than take away what makes my life more chill and bearable. There's also the fact that not all passion filled hobbies are profitable in the long-term anyway.
I got your point honestly. You will only end up with frustration if you don’t meet your profit expectations from your passion. That’s why it’s easy to leave it as your passion and find other means that will create an income for you, or find a stable job that will always pay you in time. Hobbies are need to be enjoyed and definitely enhanced, but it should not reach your point that you’ll make it as your major source of income.

339  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com | Casino & Sportsbook | VIP | Instant withdrawals!|ARGENTINA & AVFC on: May 17, 2024, 11:59:55 AM
Duelbits competing in a big market and wants to lead. I love that they get Conor as their partner as this fighter is very popular and could easily introduce the platform to its fans or followers. I'm also surprise that he'll have a comeback fight, I thought his career was already over after the last fight where he was severely injured, but due to a good technology nowadays, a fighter could have his healing time shorten and still able to get back in the ring.

Actually, not only in UFC but also in movies, he is making a name already, after his great peformance with the Road house movie, and now the Popeye The Sailor Man, his popularity is just soaring.

It’s very hard to forget Conor even with his sour recent career since he is the first fighter in the UFC history to get 2 title simultaneously which many UFC fighter tried to achieve for a long time but failed. He is the one to open this possibility through his very good skill set during his prime.

Conor is now focusing on entertainment side like acting that you mention and probably this is the reason why he accepted the partnership for Duelbits for his comeback match.
I didn't know about his full achievement in UFC, all I know is that he is very popular. I guess it's not only the achievement that made him very popular but his attitude in the ring, he knows how to get our emotion involve and that's his secret that people are following him. Honestly, the most popular UFC fighter I've known in the history of this sport is Conor, not really a fan of this sport so I don't know the old ones.

Movies + UFC, that's a ton of money coming for him, but I hope he'll not be injured again as the last time he got injured, I can't look directly to it because it does look bad.

I’m sure tons of giveaways and promotions will be available during and before that match.

Sure they will, it's a big announcement, they should come up with a huge promo or giveaways as well.
340  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Has Trading Competitions competitions led you to challenge your skills? on: May 16, 2024, 11:58:22 PM
Competitions and challenges can be good to challenge your skills and motivate you to want to improve in trading.

But you should be careful too because if you try to partake in any of this kind of competitions before you are actually ready for it, you may actually just be preparing yourself to get depressed maybe from loosing in the competition and by thinking that there's probably too much in trading that you don't know and will never be able to learn because of some untrue reason etc.

Do not put yourself under pressure to compete with anyone.
Trading is never a competition in all honesty, but if joining trading competitions will help you to improve your trading potentials, then go. Don’t deprive yourself to get challenge, but make sure that you are ready to lose as well. Trading has more on losses than gains, most particularly for beginner traders, but if you have sufficient experience in trading that makes you a competent and competitive one, then accept the challenge and trade responsibly.
