I'd like to suggest https://support.woundedwarriorproject.org/individual-fundraising/thewarriorwalk/

Josh is walking from SC to CA to raise money for the Wounded Warrior Project. He is a great guy and former Professional MMA fighter.

ALSO TO CLEAR UP SOMETHING JUST BECAUSE ONE PERSON DOES A CRIMINAL ACT IN THE FAMILY DOES NOT MAKE EVERYONE ELSE A CRIMINAL.

Well, at least everyone now knows that it is a complete scam run by a criminal whose own family loathes him. Thanks for the update.
323  Other / New forum software / Concerned about Slickage Studios split from: Concern about the "Forum Credit" idea on: March 20, 2014, 06:29:52 PM
I am more concerned with an unknown web dev firm, who doesn't even have their own website, getting the contract. It's obvious there's some favoritism going on once again. You can't even find a single project they have completed, and they get the forum's coins for the project? You say you want to move towards something other than VB,SMF,etc then hire a complete novice to code it. It's really quite amazing.

Be honest, who are these people to you? How do you know them?
324  Economy / Services / Re: Buy some Harley Davidson clothes for me from the states on: March 18, 2014, 06:03:30 PM
I'll do it for you then. I ship items daily anyways, I would be glad to help.
325  Economy / Services / Re: Buy some Harley Davidson clothes for me from the states on: March 18, 2014, 02:10:56 AM
You need someone to pay with their credit card and pay for shipping, or are you using your card and covering shipping?

327  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Possible Scammer - John K on: March 15, 2014, 12:06:07 PM
It's a shame. I've used him once for escrow in the past and it was slow and he never lived up to his end (but did send the funds after a delay). One side of me wants to think that he wouldn't scam (being so involved in blockchain), but the other half of me realizes that a large percentage of early adopters are scammers.

Here's hoping you get your coins back gents.

I got you on that Mike, PM me what you're looking for.
329  Economy / Speculation / Re: We broke the February downtrend. How about this one? on: March 05, 2014, 04:15:43 PM
We will most likely hover between 500-700 during March.

For the record, I have no clue who moppop is and, unlike many other long term members, I only have one account here. I don't hide behind alts. Moppop just happens to agree with me it seems.

Nevertheless, I feel like the point has been proven.

Mike, I can help you get your community site setup in a few hours bud. I would like to discuss more long term and beneficial charitable avenues with you though.

EDIT: Just saw you PM'd me.

Well only info from blockchain like you were hinting at was zeroblock snatching up clark moody's chart system. Hardly groundbreaking, hardly going to push the price to $1000, if you even knew ahead of time.

Hey Mike,

I have been working on something similar for the last ~year. I just haven't been able to make it happen with my limited time and finances. If you're looking for some collaboration, PM me. I'd like to bounce some of my ideas and thoughts on the matter off of you and see where we end up.

If you had 2fa enabled on btce and gmail, there should be 0 chance of anyone hacking your account. Are you sure it was enabled on both?

I only had 2FA on BTC-e not on my gmail.  I just added 2FA to my gmail.  As far as I know BTC-e doesn't have SMS 2FA though only 2FA via e-mail which is pointless if someone has access to your e-mail.  I have heard they now have 2FA through Google Authenticator though.
They've had 2fa through gauth for quite some time now. At least a year, from what I remember. Either way, I am sorry to hear about your problems, I hope you're able to track this SOB down.

338  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Let's report Ken Slaughter / Active Mining to SEC on: March 03, 2014, 10:58:46 PM
That video is quite telling. Whoever that is being interviewed has no clue of what he speaks. That was force fed. Someone who has been mining since 2009 would know the difference between mh/s and gh/s.
339  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: BTC-E Impossible to withdraw funds or contact support. on: March 03, 2014, 10:53:26 PM
I am one of the ones who had trouble with BTC-e recently (malleability), but they eventually fixed my issue (after many headaches and ~2 weeks).

What do you mean when you say 'the account is locked for withdrawals'? Has the account been banned?
