321  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: LIKE BUTTON. on: March 11, 2018, 10:59:45 PM
Flex is right matagal na pinaguusapan to Vod suggested it few years ago ito yung thread kung gusto niyo basahin yung discussion tungkol doon.

If thats the case,  well naisip ko lang kasi nakakapanghinayang din ang ibang members na nakakasagot ng tama pero hindi nabibigyan ng Merit, and also kung manguayari man ito I want to be part of those people who'll push the Like Button for their posts dahil nga hindi sapat ang aking sMerits para sa mga taong iyon. And, Pwede ko po bang malaman kung ano tinutukoy nyong bagong forum? I'm just too curious about it, ang BCT magkakaroon ng bagong forum?
May thread si theymos tungkol sa beta version ng bagong forum. Malaking halaga ang nakalaan sa paggawa ng forum at sinimulan nila ang pag develop sa bagong forum 3-4 years ago ata estimate ko lang cmiiw.
Mas maganda rin siguro kung maililipat lahat ng merited members dun sa bagong forum which I think to reduce shitposters and maiwasan yung account farming. More interaction to members at malilinis yung mga pailt ulit na post if this would happen.

For the like button, I still don't agree because if anyone could spend too much like button without limit, then members will abuse it just to rank up and it will be another requirement for ranking.

324  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Ethereum a good investment? on: March 11, 2018, 09:56:27 PM
Etheruem has done very well since the last 6 months, getting to an ATH of $2,000. The price is still good to some profit because soon all coins will go bullish I believe that. You can buy etheruem and hodl.
ETH price today is $725.49 and it never reach $2000 as its ATH. Just make more research mate rather than speculations without source. Try to look at the CMC to check what I am saying. Dont mislead newbies to a false information.
325  Other / Meta / Re: Does merit really helping the forum. on: March 11, 2018, 01:33:18 PM
Merit system have solved the problem of post flooding intended only to rank up.

that's true, at least the work of the forum staff has become less, which used to be a lot of forum members who often do what they call farming activity in order to level up on time, now they only have to deal with new members who always create new topics that are already dozens of times discussed on the forum and think will be given merit and level up easily.
They should be able to do much better. We are all required to make things unique and also useful for many people. This is much more important because we will understand Bitcoin much more quickly and easily, merit has improved the quality of forums and this is very good for the development of this forum, now we can see a significant change like the loss of the scammers. This change has indirectly increased the confidence of various sources of information, the Forum is also increasing in popularity because it can provide confidence in the majority of developments around the digital currency.
Uniqueness of the topics will come to a repetitiveness. More topics will be unique by season and by the trending news which is happening in the crypto. Discussions will be focused on that. Hope there will be a FAQ at the home page of the forum for newbies and investors to looked more organized.
326  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it better to have many altcoins or it is enough to have few? on: March 10, 2018, 02:49:05 PM
The best way to make sure of your profit is to make research about your altcoin and its potential to be successfull in the future. The number of altcoins will not be the basis to take more profit in the future.

330  Economy / Economics / Re: Working smart vs working hard on: March 09, 2018, 09:41:03 AM
Many people say that you should work hard if you want to succeed in life and rise to riches. I'd rather say that working hard will only make your boss richer, not yourself. On the other hand, there is an age-old adage which says that you should be working smarter, not harder. But working smarter is a vague idea, and I'm interested to hear what people have to say on this topic. As far as I'm concerned, I think that working smart comes down to creating environment where you will have more chances to meet Lady Luck smiling at you, where you will be able to hit a lucky strike because luck plays an ever-important role in our lives. For example, if you want to find a date to have a romantic relationship with or you are looking for a one-night stand only, you will go to a beach or a bar since your chances are higher there, right? The same approach seems to be applicable to work as well. In other words, stick around the places where your chances of success are the highest.

So share your opinions here, guys. What is your practical take on working smart?
Working smart will depend on your environment. We should have time for other activities rather than focusing our mind in one job. Its better to maximize our asset (not money-usually resources like new friend that may help you to learn and earn more and other places that will give you opportunity to grow) as of it will carry you to success.
331  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC news on: March 08, 2018, 08:22:19 PM
Where do you get your news about BTC? I am looking for a relevant and credible source of news, e.g. like cointelegraph.com (which I favor), but would like to have other opinions.

Try to use the CMC - coinmarketcap.com

By searching bitcoin, you can check the social media link, reddit, website & also the market history in one place. Also not only bitcoin, you can also see the news from other crypto currencies.

338  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: List of Campaign Managers Latest Post(Sig & Twitter Campaign) for Bounty Hunter on: March 05, 2018, 11:37:23 PM
You could try adding a changelog for this because it's a little spammy if you will post every change you made.

Have a look at the changelog on this thread: Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns [Last update: 15-Feb-2018]

Already bookmarked it. Thanks

And also, the way you divide your list is kinda off (or is it just me?? lol) since the managers listed on "Twitter Campaign" (some of them) also does signature.
Both of them are doing signature campaigns, it is just like I have divide them because I always joined signature campaign and enumerate managers that I have already work with payouts recieved. Hope to make it clear.
339  Other / Meta / Re: Does merit really helping the forum. on: March 05, 2018, 11:09:09 PM
It is almost a month the new system of merit has been implement to the forum. What is your opinion? It is really working as it was expected? What is you opinion?
The new merit system are for spammer that already spread in the forum. Because of account farming, they are really prevented to gain more ranks. This system would make the post quality improve specially for the lower ranks & newbies. Hope after a few months, the thread will be more clean out of them
340  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Best safe for storing Bitcoin paper wallets? on: March 05, 2018, 10:44:10 PM
Can anyone recommend me of a good safe or storage place for my BTC paper wallets? I'm looking for the best one around for safekeeping of all my Bitcoin and altcoin paper wallets, as well as the Ledger Nano S hardware wallet.

Most recently, I've saw one of those Sentry Safe boxes but didn't grab up my attention since I've read the reviews online about them and some people say that they could easily be opened by anyone. I'm not sure if that's real, but just to be safe, I've decided to look for other alternatives that could achieve said purpose.

Nevertheless, if anyone knows about a good safe to help protect my BTC valuables, please let me know. I will appreciate your time in helping me out with this. Smiley
You could have your own cash box with key. Storing at home still the best for keeps. Other option will be a waterproof cashbox incase you want to store it underground.
