321  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Tataas Kaya Ang Awareness Ng MgaTao Sa Bitcoin Kung May Mga Billboard on: December 01, 2023, 06:37:57 PM

Billboards can attract and reaches a wider audiences especially sa mga palaging nagbibiyahe kasi usually ang mga malalaking billboards ay nasa cities and malakihang kalsada talaga like SLEX and NLEX.

Kasi isipin niyo yung billboard is "rental" so temporary lang siya in a period of time, plus di pa kayo sure kung marami ba kayo na enganyo sa pa billboard na yon that cost millions, mas oks pa talaga promotion through the internet in my opinion.
322  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Referral bonuses are waste of time on: December 01, 2023, 06:05:06 PM
I have been able to claim other bonuses but not referral bonuses and it wasn't really hard except for the condition of wager that I had to abide with and I was lucky with my wagers as they all turned out a win for me so I was able to take advantage of the bonus and got paid.

With referral bonuses I think the ones I have come in contact with also had the wager conditions aswell. I think wager has been the condition attached to these bonuses most times and a few will only say you should stake within a certain range of odds so it at some point makes it almost impossible to withdraw theses bonuses because you may not be lucky enough to win then you may just have to loose the bonus back again to the casino.

Casinos are pretty smart to put that kind of trick for people to keep referring to their casino which would definitely only favor them, cause for sure they won't let you earn money and bonuses without a condition for free. Those wager for sure has a lot of tasks to do for you to claim their bonuses and prizes, cause imagine if almost all of the people tried to achieve those easy task then it would only favor the people, that's why some referral is literally impossible to achieve. And sometimes they would give bonuses for you to be motivated to do some tasks and follow their instruction, cause why not, you will just have to follow some rules to earn free money right? If a wager puts something like a range of odds that is hard that can only be achieved through luck, for sure as you lost money you would try to recover it and they would be having a customer gambling addict.
323  Economy / Economics / Re: The power of investment choices on: December 01, 2023, 05:01:16 PM
It's not enough having an investment plan, knowing the right choice to make for every investment defines the investor better. Take for example jumping on every new coin we find on reputable exchange might not be enough guarantee that coin will do well in the future.

Some coin might have good Supply but low liquidity, some might have high market capitalisation but very poor volatility. Although it's hard to predict the accuracy of a coin performance in the near future this why it is always advised to stick to the known which is BTC.

Another option is to spread ones portfolio amongst different coins but ensuring the have a greater percentage in projects with a visible future. It is better to win small and lose less than lose more and win less

It's literally the best to invest in Bitcoin, almost all of the investor knows that, but we all have our preferences and mindset when it comes to investment. Simply jumping on other alternative coins might sound dumb thing to do, but if you do it with knowledge as you can take advantage of those descriptions you gave to some coins, for sure you can still get profit even in small amounts, cause profit is still profit. You could do some research first on some projects before taking the initiative to invest in them, cause it is one of the factors that can affect the coin/token's market or simply be updated on any news like temporary hype that you can use to enter and take profit early before the drop. The thing is almost everything in the crypto is unpredictable as we can always assume things would end up like this which would result in our decisions.
324  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "Bitcoin investment is the key to success" on: December 01, 2023, 03:38:38 PM
There's no need to feel regret if you need to use the funds to provide for your needs, you cannot literally control fate as there would always be a time that you would have to
emergency cash out which I think is pretty normal. Remember that you could always enter the market, it might be hard to reinvest as Bitcoin's value is starting to rise but you can start again after dealing with your problems with the help of Bitcoin. Just imagine that your holdings turn into your laptop, which is actually pricey in some countries like mine, plus the fact that it is helping you in your studies as well as in your online job in freelancing.
325  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is not a quick rich and get poorer investment. on: November 30, 2023, 03:18:29 PM
Bitcoin investment is an investment you start early and take time to grow, discipline, monitor with patient to enable your target of investment excel and you can only make this investment when you patiently elongate it to enable you flourish well to the extend that when you harvest your profit from the investment it will still be progressing and not when you invest in six months time and you are inquisitive to get your profit in eight months time its wrong and getting patient to achieve what you invest is a good helping hands for future and at least when you invest in six months time you get your profit in one or two years or more for your effort to be reasonable and bear in mind that Bitcoin is not altcoin that can be hype or where many altcoins are built based on the basic structure provided by Bitcoin, Bitcoin cannot not make you poor when you know what you are doing and is more valuable and can make you rich when you wisely trade in futures.

It takes time for your money to grow, even in other terms of investment. If you invest in business, real estate, Bitcoin, etc, for sure your money wouldn't grow that fast in just a day, weeks, months, or years. It literally depends on the market situation that's why being patient and consistent won't be enough if you are not that knowledgeable about Bitcoin. Bitcoin might not make you poor but in the process, you can experience losses, just like the right timing in the market if you buy high and then sell low then of course you've lost some money, but eventually if you hold for long-term then you could still profit. With Bitcoin, I think it's possible to get the quick rich but it would take time which applies to other options in investment as well.
326  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "Why haven't the earliest participants sold their Bitcoin, and some haven't even on: November 30, 2023, 09:57:24 AM
I think many of them didn’t backup their private key and have lost access to their wallet. People were careless with wallet security back then, the value of bitcoin was not high so it wasn’t really a big deal to lose sleep over. Once in a while, we see a dormant address suddenly become active and moves coins out the wallet. Another reason would be death, the owner of the wallet may have died and did not make provisions for his family to inherit the bitcoins.
Can't imagine the regret those people have, especially if they have a significant amount of Bitcoins back then. Even if they didn't have, they can always buy more. Those dormant address who suddenly came to life might be from the lucky and knowledgeable pioneer hodlers. It is also possible that some where recovered, and some are from the hacker. They think the public will get tired of tracking them if they keep silent for a long time.

A lot of Bitcoin are lost and out of the circulation because the owner have died. This is why it's important to not be selfish and find a trusted person that we can share our private keys or seed phrases with.

Some might regret and some might not, cause Bitcoin is still part of crypto where volatility exists so people wouldn't still predict or expect the outcome of Bitcoin's market. Unless you are one of the people who are holding literally huge amounts of Bitcoin and use it for silly things like the example of the guy who used thousands of BTC just to buy a pizza, big regrets indeed. Plus people might be too busy to remember to access their wallet as they might have thrown the hard wallet and the fact that from years people might also forget the passwords and seedphrase.
327  Other / Archival / Re: Wearing Bitcoin Clothing in Public on: November 30, 2023, 08:46:52 AM
Has anyone ever tried wearing a Bitcoin clothing in public? I wore mine to an event earlier this week and noticed that most of the young age people were looking at it. One person even asked me if I owned a Bitcoin(which I've answered him ). It just popped into my mind that is it making myself vulnerable to bad people? We are aware that we should keep quiet if we own Bitcoin because of the risk that someone will hurt us or target us so that they could get our Bitcoin.

Its just a t-shirt nothing can put you in harm with that unless you display your ledger or anything that can show that you hold some balance in your position. If you are worried about it well don't give your self a stress and don't where anything that can make you easily identified as a bitcoin user or holder.

I have couple of bitcoin and altcoin T-shirt designs and wearing it on public then so far it didn't put me on any risk. If some ask if I am bitcoin user then answer plain that you have some amount but only a small percentage only don't tell them that you have a lot of it since maybe it can caught the interest of bad people since bitcoin still a form of money. Also don't think about negative things for wearing it since bitcoin is not known by majority so for sure they don't give a shit on the design of your shirt.

Well, it's still better to be careful in public cause as we know people are unpredictable, the fact that OP has been already asked if he's holding any amount of Bitcoin already sounds alarming especially when it comes to strangers, you can assume they might be a good guy or not. It depends on the location as well, if Bitcoin is that popular and well-known, then I don't see any bad thing about wearing Bitcoin's logo as people would think that you are just wearing a famous design that you can buy in the market just like in my country, they can even produce an imitation of luxuries product like Gucci, LV and etc. Just don't reveal any amount of BTC you are holding just give them false information such as you got that t-shirt as a gift.
328  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Combination of the young age correlated with Bitcoin for the future on: November 29, 2023, 07:00:29 PM
At the range of age of 20's, there are a lot of things that you could do to settle in life especially if you don't want to work and have a passive income. You have a lot of options to use that money like building a business where you can use that time to manage them, real estate, etc. Some would say you can use that already to enjoy life, yeah sure cause you still have the money, it's easier for people to spend money than to save, so use it to reinvest in something you can earn, so the money would still run and earn profit for you to finally settled in the money you have to save, cause, to be honest, 4 Bitcoin might be huge to other countries but here in my country, I could say things is pricey here that 4 Bitcoin might only last few years. You have a lot of time on your hands, study some financial management, for sure it will last longer.
329  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Risking 1% in Gambling on: November 29, 2023, 06:20:35 PM
1% is okay, you'll have fun in gambling if that's a significant amount of money.

However, let's use some figures to really determine if it's still fun to gamble using 1% of your income (after tax)...

Say you are earning $1,000 per month, so your budget will only be $10 per month,... .meh... that's non fun and no way people would be able to follow that rule.
I agree with you that it is very unlikely that this can be done, because remembering that people who have not experienced a gambling addiction use the income they get to gamble more than the amount mentioned and if they have experienced a gambling addiction, there may even be more. whose entire income is used for gambling because they cannot control themselves in gambling, but in my opinion if we use around 15% or 20% of the income we get, I think this is still possible.

Well, if you are in control of your gambling habit, for sure earning $1000 is not that huge to gamble almost $100 as you have daily expenses to pay, if you are not alone then the  15%-20% would sound possible if you are only taking care of yourself as you can the budget on your own, so you have spare money to gamble. I agree that gambling with just $100 wouldn't be so fun as you could lose it all without having fun with just a few rounds, but we also need to take care of our own responsibility especially if we have a family to feed. You could make your own rules like making your own portfolio to limit yourself to avoid surpassing the amount of money you have, cause still, I believe that once you are gambling, you might not even think with your plan as emotion starts to kick.
330  Economy / Economics / Re: Inventing a job is better than finding a job on: November 29, 2023, 05:46:08 PM
Well, both are actually good as they give people a source of money to provide for their everyday needs. It would literally depend on the person itself which they much prefer cause some people are risk takers to invest their money and some would like to work under a company cause you would be paid with your time, skills, efforts, etc. Personally, I think creating a job is much better than finding a job, but of course, it is much harder to handle for example building a business, you would need to handpick people to hire as they would be the ones to handle some roles in your business, cause if you did not check their capabilities and skills, for sure it would be a downfall that's why interview is a must. Plus the needs of huge funds and capital would be needed as you need labor work, materials, and rental for your building business, from that many, people wouldn't hassle themselves as they need first to be strategic and would be settled in working under a company.
331  Other / Archival / Re: Wearing Bitcoin Clothing in Public on: November 29, 2023, 04:55:54 PM
Well, it would be a good idea if you are into places like conventions crypto crypto-related seminars, and meetings as people are aware of Bitcoin's existence and wouldn't question if you own it cause anyone could be a holder or just promoting BTC using the merchandise. If you were in public people would see you wearing Bitcoin as they would assume that would be worth a lot so they could do illegal things such as crime, worse is they can identify your identity, and would do blackmailings or stalking. Just imagine the worst case scenario that might happen cause people are actually that unpredictable that's why it's better to ensure your safety and security.
332  Economy / Economics / Re: Why is it difficult for people to get capital easily? on: November 28, 2023, 06:25:12 PM
I came to discovered that, there are many opportunities all over the world for people to embrace by investing some huge amount of money on a particular business and start living a big man life in the country. I have been working hard to get capital to start my own business, so that I will have financial freedom to invest in BTC and any kind of business that will make me not to reduce to zero level in the country but I have worked with many companies but to save the money is the issue because of the disturb of my siblings which I love so much. I was in their shoes before when I was in school some years ago before I became a graduate, and anytime I made demand of anything from my elder brother and sister they must respond to me well by sending the money and food stuff when I was in school, and the day they refuse to respond to me, I will be seriously angry with them not to pick their calls or reply their chat at the moment until they look for way to solve my problem.
How did you get your capital to start that business you are doing today? Or do you experience some things like this from your relatives, because to get capital these days is not easy for me, and there are some people all over the world looking for way to get this capital to start a good business but is not easy for them. Can you share your experience on how you get your capital.

It's not really easy to get capital for the business we want to build in these times, to be honest. Especially since the pandemic has just ended, in these times we people are still in recovery.

That's why, at this time, we have to be really strategic, because all the goods or prime commodities that we need are almost the same price in reality. But I was able to build a small business with the only capital I had, which was around 10 dollars, and I was able to turn it right, and for 3 years now, the business still exists, which means I was able to turn the capital business right. I'm doing it now.

Totally agree, but in those times of the pandemic is it either people took advantage of the situation as people were not allowed to go outside, or some people built businesses online so as the virus started to decrease and the economy started to recover, they already have enough capital to build such as physical stores. We all know the risk of starting to build a business from scratch especially if we are finding funds, but for sure if we explore more and get out of our comfort zone, for sure will find the best way to build a business, like for example gathering data from your location what is the best product to sell, the supply and demand, and etc.
333  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling are mainly for rich and lucky mind. on: November 28, 2023, 05:32:08 PM
As the title of the thread got my interest, I could say that if you are rich then it means that you have a lot of money to spare in gambling that you won't even have to think of your losses, cause the more you play the more the possibilities that you could win so that's one of the factors that could increase your winnings. But still, gambling is literally based on luck, sometimes gamblers feel they are already close to winning sometimes it is true as your intuition is good, but sometimes it would only lead to many more losses cause you think with that mindset that you are close to winning so you keep playing without hesitation. Remember that having enough funds to gamble doesn't mean an instant win, you would really need some strategies, techniques, skills, and knowledge as well for the luck to much favor on your side.
334  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Authorities Are Not Smart Enough to Do This on: November 28, 2023, 04:53:34 PM
I think the authorities have been governing for a long time and they already know how to manipulate things and how literally beneficial for them to approach Bitcoin. We can notice that they would attack Bitcoin as they would have a negative reputation in the public so people would not prefer digital currencies to traditional fiat money which they can easily manipulate and control, it is literally the corruption and greed that hinders them from completely welcoming Bitcoin. I actually agree with your ideas but with Bitcoin's decentralized system, the only thing that the government could do is either ban them or approach them, but we know that it might take a long time for people to adopt BTC since it's still volatile.
335  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What one change to Bitcoin can make it's adoption faster? on: November 27, 2023, 03:11:01 PM
If we are talking about Bitcoin adoption, well, from the replies here I agree that the government is one of the factors that affects the rate of adoption of Bitcoin. But sadly, Bitcoin here in my country in the PH is not that popular as few people are actively engaging in the crypto industry. From that, I could say that Bitcoin lacks the publicity and promotion for people to gain interest as they could see it in their everyday lives, since it's not popular only a few people there would be fewer promoters cause in the first place they wouldn't benefit if they pay for advertisement. Since crypto-related activities became popular back then as the government noticed that people could earn huge amounts without paying taxes, they tried to be involved by trying to put taxes but it's not possible at all since it's a decentralized system. But it gained attention from the public and many people entered the market.

337  Economy / Economics / Re: You are the product. Corporations spying on us deeper than we thought? on: November 26, 2023, 04:35:39 PM
I read all the comments on this topic and noticed that all the commentators complain about these practices that most applications on the Internet follow. But at the same time, they do not offer alternatives if we want to establish an Internet that maintains privacy while providing an enjoyable browsing experience, as is happening today.
Also, users can limit this close monitoring by changing their browsing behavior by verifying the information that is shared with any application and avoiding using unknown applications.

Well, I think people are already aware of the Internet especially when it comes to using websites or applications that could contain your data and private information. As I said, it's normal for them to gather your data as you are one of their users, and as a registered and legal app, their job is to protect and secure that information. If people or users are not that satisfied yet with the application-provided security, I think it is already their responsibility to take measures to secure their data for example, using a VPN, changing the settings such as blocking unwanted emails, downloading anti-virus to avoid unwanted files to go to your system that might cause hackers to get hands on your data.
338  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The most important thing in a betting site on: November 26, 2023, 03:32:50 PM
Reputation is one of the important thing we need to look after when we want to switch to a new casino we shall be using for betting. If we don't look for a reputable casino, we can end up becoming a victim of a bad casino which can be a big lose for those of us that could mistakenly deposite high fund on the casino. Gambling requires us to understand the casino we are using so that we can easily move around on the site without any issues. After looking at the reputation of a casino, it is good for us to look at the type of games that are available,  maximum and minimum deposit and withdrawal etc.
A good reputation is very important, as a casino that does not has it or that has a negative one can do all kind of things and get away with them as they do not fear being known as bad casino, since this reputation is following everywhere anyway, and we have seen some examples like that on the forum before.

In a way a good reputation forces casinos to try to resolve every single issue according to the rules set on their TOS and avoid abusing them, as otherwise the good reputation they have garnered over the years will disappear over a small incident.

You are indeed right, cause reputation really depends on the casino's approach to every issue on their casino or even to their customer's complaints. From that, the public could already judge the casino if they are reliable and legit as they can fix any issue in their casino. The thing is, if we are using online casinos, sometimes they use paid people to review and give positive feedback for their own reputation. For example using the popularity of famous streamers like them giving feedback from their casinos, which is paid by the casino itself so people would think they have a good reputation. I think people should not only rely on the reputation of a casino but still also do their own research by finding more reliable information about the casino itself.
339  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Helping family businesses and fulfilling dreams with Bitcoin. on: November 26, 2023, 01:23:19 PM

Isn't very early to take all your bitcoin out of your Holding?
while i love what you did to fulfill your dream and your parent business but I believe that you
should have waited a little more so you can purchase more for the dreams even for your
mother and sibling .

anyway , I wanted to congratulate you for this dreams come true
better to have more investment now before the Bull comes and you will regret what you have
done here in that early timing.
There's nothing wrong with waiting for a bigger profit, but in my opinion, if we want to help our parents, I don't think there's anything wrong with taking some of what we have to help our parents' business.
I think we can still collect it before the Bull comes and if we do it consistently and work hard then I am sure we will be able to collect it even though the amount we can collect is not much.

Everyone has different goals and plans, as long as OP is profitable, then there is nothing wrong with him selling bitcoin at this time. Furthermore, the future is unpredictable, what if we don't have bull season and bear season continues to last longer than we expected? So I think, as long as we are satisfied with what we have, there is nothing wrong.

As long as the market exists and bitcoin still exists, accumulating bitcoin will never be difficult if we continue to make efforts. And one more thing, this is not the last bull season of bitcoin so we don't need to worry too much if we cannot enjoy this bull season.

You're exactly right, isn't that the purpose of your investing in Bitcoin? which is to profit and earn funds to fulfill your goals and dreams. The fact that Bitcoin is still volatile and we can't predict what would be the outcome in months, years, or even decades, so selling to provide and help your parents is already a good reason for you to make a profit. It is also a good deal to start up a business so the money could still run it's still considered as an investment that could help your family which is not a bad deal at all, it is like you convert your holdings into a business. I also agree that once you sell Bitcoin doesn't mean you wouldn't have the time to reinvest once again when you already have the knowledge and skills.
340  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading can ruin you on: November 25, 2023, 05:27:45 PM
Trading is not what ruins, we do that on ourse from the way we trade, there's alot of benefits we get when we are doing things the right way, we also have to know this that trading may has its own risk but everything is to be done on the atmosphere of safety under extreme caution with the way we trade, the pattern we use and the other steps we take while performing our trades, most traders benefits from trading and not that they got ruined completely in trading.

Trading is not the one that ruins, that is actually true since it gives people the benefits of earning money if they do it "the right way" as you have mentioned such things as the patterns, steps, etc. But is not as easy as it sounds even if you already have enough knowledge and experience, cause trading is a complicated system that you would literally need to think of many things just to earn money and stop loss. If you are doing good in trading and feel like you belong to the trading industry then that's good, but if you are sacrificing your mental, physical, and emotional health, then I could say that trading could actually ruin you. Simply for that reason I've preferred investment as I could just simply do DCA without stressing myself, this is only my personal thought no pressure on newbies, cause trading is literally beneficial and profitable when you do it the right way.
