3221  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Inspirational gambling quotes. on: September 20, 2020, 10:21:07 AM

1. “Quit while you’re ahead. All the best gamblers do.” -Baltasar Gracián y Morales.
- If you know how to quit playing while you are ahead then you will probably a successful gambler. You should know how to be contented of your winning.

This is really we tend to ignore and should focus on it. Most of us do opposite of this quote. Even i sometimes keep on playing and do not stop. This makes me lose and regret. If i had stopped after the winning, i could have taken profit at home through online gambling but my greediness and laziness make me lose more.
Hard to focus on it unless you can control your emotions. I will admit that I have fallen for this many times specially when I was winning big, and it's really hard to quit ahead while you are still in the net positive. So it will take a lot of practice, and you should learn how to listen to your inner self telling you to quit, but at the same time, your mind is telling the opposite. Very difficult to master in the beginning.
Winning big can be a motivation to keep playing and playing because there's a little voice on your mind that keeps telling you that "you can win again" and this can trigger us to play again and again, This is why self control is so important to us gambler. I got experience like this too many times and ended up losing all the profit and capital I got from playing gambling. I learned my lesson too many times and keep repeating my mistakes by not controlling it, That is the time that I got the realization that I am addicted on gambling. My gambling adiction is now fixed and reading these kinds of quotes really affects me cause It is very relatable.
3222  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: All Top 10 DeFi Tokens on coinmarketcap in Loss on: September 20, 2020, 09:53:33 AM
No need to panic seeing the price of DeFi tokens experiencing falling down, its natural if you see the price of King Coin Bitcoin which
has fallen really deep. Since all altcoins are bound to be affected by this drop in Bitcoin price, this the right time to buy
DeFi tokens. Because the current price correction will not last long, don't miss the opportunity to buy DeFi tokens at low prices so when the price go up its time to say winner winner chicken dinner
I'm not really sure if the DeFi tokens your pertaining too will bounce back to its the price. If the a certain token falls, It's not always the case that you need to buy one and assume that it will bounceback, Remember that DeFi token prices are going up really fast and the correction price of it is expected. But as of now DeFi tokens are at it's prime, You can easily gain some profit on trading or investing on it. Just make some good decisions about picking one.
3223  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What new DeFi token do you know? on: September 20, 2020, 09:15:19 AM
There is a large selection of Defi projects on this forum and you can also see a list of Defi projects on the coinmarketcap site. I personally don't have a good view of the Defi project, as I haven't had time to research it, but there are options on Yearnfinance. maybe you can try to take part in it.
because soo many defi project occur make us confuse which of them have goo quality to gain profit. not all of them were real defi project, some of them were fake project that will steal our money.
This is a common occurrence in cryptocurrency, Being confused about what project you will focus on because of a lot of project claiming that they do have a good platform and have a future. Fake projects is just common nowadays since the early days of crypto fake teams are taking advantage of the ecosystem of cryptocurrency. Adding the DeFi trend today, It is the time that scammers are going all out in their schemes. Be cautious everyone.
3224  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Buying Bitcoin with no KYC verification on: September 19, 2020, 07:20:39 AM
I think it's not possible for the buyers or investors to buy bitcoin using His/Her Credit card or Paypal without submitting their KYC.
Because you are using a bank card where it is regulated into a traditional business. Unless you want to buy bitcoin person to person
on which you know them well something like that.
Well this is true, Most banks are requiring KYC and also Paypal so technically you are using KYC account when buying bitcoin but there is other payment out there but there are other payment methods like google pay but some of it are rarely accepted by those who are selling it. There are many but it will undergoes in many process and will hassle the buyer.

KYC is on the payment processor now so even if the exchange didn't require KYC you will be forced to use your accounts that undergoes KYC.
3225  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: THE MOST PAINFUL DAY IN MY BETTING CAREER on: September 18, 2020, 09:14:43 PM
So far in my betting career I couldn't find a painful memory yet since most of my losses are considered a loss already since I'm not really into making more money from it. It was more like a hobby because I don't want to spend most of my time playing gambling but I do enjoy it when I can make a profit sometimes.
It is part of every gambler's life to lose at that certain point that you have a engraved painful memory from losses. It's good that you are only doing it as a hobby and you enjoy it. It is the matter of how you value your money over the enjoyment you have. It's a good thing that you didn't get addicted to it and fallen deeper into the abyss of getting yourself out of control.
3226  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: India looking to Re-ban Bitcoin on: September 18, 2020, 07:32:37 PM
The Gov policies are quite hard to understand,  for the last 10 years they failed to create any new job, so the unemployment rate is too high, rather than creating new industries GOV have sold the GOV undertaking bodies to privet businessmen. Also, the Corona Pandemic has hit hard to the economy. As a result, the current GDP is down below -23%. Rather than looking after those problems and their possible solution, they are concentrating on stupid decisions like banning crypto which will have a more negative effect on the economy.
There are many governement like this, I understand the feeling of it because our government is doing the same. The economy is going down because of our situation and past problems but government is doing unecessary things that are not connected to the problem but just making new set of problems. It is like the re-banning of bitcoin in India, There are peoples from India who is relying on crypto for their survival and banning it could be a nightmare for them. This can be a domino effect later on if some countries saw the advantages of it and implement it on their own. They should just regulate it atleast not to ban it.
3227  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: UNISWAP (UNI) is driving me CRAZY!! on: September 18, 2020, 07:13:11 PM
UNI has made many people envious of it such a great gift impressed many people, I personally don't think UNI can do that can only see people get UNI
For the next, my prediction is that UNI will do another airdrop so don't miss it
In my oppinion I think UNI want to make people to trust them and to use there platforms more. As you see their plan is effective, The news is all about UNI airdrop and there are people believing on their platform and suggesting everyone to use their platform. Well, we don't know if they plat to do the 2nd wave of their airdrop in addition to the hype that is roaming up today.

The hype is too good in the past few months because of the DeFi opportunity but now it is much greater.
3228  Other / Archival / Re: What will happen to bitcoin on a world war? on: September 18, 2020, 05:45:53 PM
World war will not only affect the bitcoin currency, but the national currency will also be affected. Nothing will be meaningful except the safety of themselves and their families.

Bitcoin will no longer be a priority or a valuable digital currency when the world war begins again. all systems will hiccup and not start.

But I don't think there will be any more world wars, I hope so.
Everyone will be affected if a war happens, Even the stock market will be affected. Countries will be battling and I think crypto can benefit from it by using crypto as a money transfer method or payment method since bitcoin is decentralized and I theorized that if a war happens, International money transfers would breakdown. I'm not sure of it but we don't war to happen today and there's no need for it since we are in a modern day.

Of course, there are many possibilities, Cutting of the internet in many countries could make bitcoin life in trouble. There are many possible scenarios but it's better for it not to happen. Casualties will just destory us humans.
3229  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Uniswap discussion on: September 18, 2020, 08:23:12 AM
For sure, this reminds me of the days that some airdrops were worth thousands of dollars, like the Ontology one or the Raiblocks/Nano one. I missed both of those mentioned, so I am pretty satisfied that I finally got an airdrop that is worth something. It is also a great incentive to continue using Uniswap, so its a win-win situation for its users and its team.
Lucky for those who used uniswap before September 1 like you, The value is high now and I think this is a good move by uniswap team to give something to their early users and to letting them use their platform by staking some tokens. I'm pretty sure that the hype is boosted by this. The unicorn is on fire today, The crypto news I am recieving today is mostly about uniswap platform.
3230  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Don't trade if you're inexperience rather stake your coins. on: September 18, 2020, 01:41:11 AM
Trading cryptocurrencies isn't meant for everyone dude, to me, trading looks like charming stuff but most dangerous to inexperience traders. Recently, I saw a potential signal on Binance with CHR but was disappointed after my order as the altcoin get dipper. I regretted my actions as staking altcoins would have brought me good rewards. Don't trade dudes let start staking our little altcoin stash. Despite our efforts to ensure we make some progress, the industry doesn't give us a chance. As an inexperience trader before now,  how do metamorphosed to become experience in trade?.

Does it mean inexperience traders aren't born to trade?.
We do believe on a thing when it comes that there are things which arent really mean for someone, in no matter how you do try but you do still end up on failure but before you do make out some decision then try
to learn things up first and dont easily give up on just few tries.Experience cant really be get nor obtained on few tried and this one do take years and lots of efforts for you to do so.

For staking then someone can make this option but as mentioned by others that when it comes to profits then they do really differ but at least you are on the less riskier side but not all people are just fan of
waiting and sitting to get their dividends.

If you do saw that you do have the passion for trading then do it, its too early to say that you'll quit just because you do fail.
I agree with this, I also think it's too early to quit, Trading takes time to learn you can't just buy some token and wait for it to rise, Some research should be made. There are different techniques in trading and analysis that helps your trading to be more precise. You can't just win on one strike, Trading has a process and failure is one of them. Realisticly you can win a trade by just relying on others' prediction but it makes you less confidence with the trade you are doing and you can't blame anyone for the mistakes you have made.

Profit to risk ratio in trading is staking is different, well just pick what suits your lifestyle but telling everyone not to trade is not right, You are giving them some motivation not to give themselves a chance to experience trading.
3231  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Outrageous trading fees, should I switch to stocks? on: September 18, 2020, 01:01:40 AM
Thank you everyone for your support. However, I'm officially done with cryptocurrency (after investing in 2.25 BTC & 6 ETHER within 1 month.) After the immediate downfall of prices I immediately panicked and sold all my currencies (I sort of feel I made a mistake that now prices are going up.) I even tried to use bitcoin and payed my phone bills using BTC, and I also considered bitcoin to pay for my amazon purchases. However, the transaction fees were much higher than those of paying with a credit card (so why the heck would I hold on to my BTC?)

I will be moving to stocks now since it's safer there (not to mention they pay out dividends too.) I may return to Bitcoin in the future, but at the mean time I will focus on stocks until we can have a clearer picture of bitcoin's future.

My loses are estimated to be approximately $6k USD, including the purchase of ledger nano x, and the extremely high buy/sell commission fees.

Once again thank you everyone for your support.  Smiley

It is a shame that you are leaving but after suffering such important losses it is completely understandable, I think that you just got in the market at a bad moment, the market has been rather unstable during the last months and it is obvious that for newbie traders these kind of conditions are very unfavourable since it requires a high level of expertise to navigate them without getting burned in the process, anyway good luck in your future endeavours and I hope you have better luck in the stock market.
This is why newbie traders need such knowledge about crypto and how it moves, OP does have the fundamentals because he is a stock trader but the knowledge he has about crypto is very limited since he doesn't last long. I hope this can be a lesson for those newbie seing this thread. Having that kind of loss is not easy but I also hope he recovers in stock market.
3232  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is Addictive...Pay Attention to your Gambling Habit!!! on: September 17, 2020, 11:41:21 PM
~ withdraw money from his wife's account without her permission, the woman complained and complained, got tired, took their only son and left him alone.
It's so bad. Something like this shouldn't happen, how can think like gambling more important than family. That's why we need to control ourselves and think realistically. Don't expect too much to earn regular money from gambling, even think to be rich suddenly by gambling. If we expect too much, then we will lose our mind and use every single money on our pockets/ATMs. He must regret it so much one day, broke his family because he cannot control his desire in gambling!!

There are many lives ruined that have the same situation as OP's friend. Without the control into your own emotions in every aspects of life can turn into mess, It's just it is so bad in gambling addiction because it involves money in it.

He needs professional help because him alone will not resolve his addiction. He will always go back to his habit. Even advice from friends will be futile. It is easy to give piece of advice, but when it comes to actual implementation, his friend will go crazy. His level of addiction really needs a professional one to address his problem. Need to know the root cause of his habit and start from there.
I agree with this, The actual implementation is the most hard step, Resisting the will not play gambling is a very troublesome experience for some addicts and they don't know how to control themselves from not playing. Some professionals suggest putting them into rehabilitation centers and for me it is somehow effective since they are giving limitations to their patients so they can heal slowly with the vices they want to get rid.

Front Page updated for 1000 Doge Giveaway Cheesy

Good luck everyone  Roll Eyes
I'm sorry but I can't see the giveaway on the front page, It's better if you give us the page link or to the straight giveaway.

I'm not judging but still, some reputated casino here got 4.0 score points in your review site over than some unknown casino that got a perfect rating, I think it's a bit biased.
It's good if you write something that justify the ratings from the casinos.
3234  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🤑💸💰Crypto Thrills Casino - Join Us For a CRYPTOTHRILLING Time !!!💰💸🤑 on: September 17, 2020, 09:50:43 PM
This is new type of promotion as i have never seen any casino which offers cash back on loses. Is this offer 20% unlimited cashback or there is any limited on the amount of cashback.
If any one loses 1 bitcoin in a month, you will pay him 0.25 btc at the end of the month ?
It is not really new, I have seen it plenty of times. Just google "online casinos with cashback" for example, and you will get plenty of results.
There are even casinos that offer cashback, or more precisely wagerbacks, on all bets. Both the ones that win and those that lose. From memory I can't remember which casinos offer them, but they are out there.

20% from 1 Bitcoin is 0.2 BTC, not 0.25 BTC. You need to lose 80% or more from your deposit to be eligible. Also, read the Bonus TOS because they apply here as well.
Yeah I think it's not new tho thus it's not that common since not every casino offers that kind of feature. I can remember that coindragon offers them, I don't know that they have that kind of feature that time and when I got back from my account I was shocked that I got some unknown credit, It's when the cashback came in.

This cashback promotion is one of my favorite promotion upon all since you can win with the certain amount you lose, The casino gives you a chance to comeback to the game.
3235  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: My experience is gambling on: September 17, 2020, 03:37:54 AM
The proportion of those people who play for fun is very small. Basically, all the people playing in the first place for the sake of earning money. Even if you are playing for fun, whether you receive it constantly losing and losing money? Therefore, we have much to talk about pleasure, but without winning neither money nor pleasure.

People play gambling for fun for their first time, but after they win some money and know that gambling can give them a chance to earn money, they start to try to make money from gambling. The next day, when they play gambling, they hope to make money, but they don't know that gambling can make them lose money. If you can have good control and stop gambling anytime, you can play gambling for fun, and you will have pleasure in gambling. You will not chase the win money because that is a hard thing that you can do.
This scenario can lead to a possible addiction, Having the experience to earn money in a easy way could be addictive and most of the time they are disregarding the big risks a head of them knowing that they have the skills (even not) on playing gambling. There are many stories like these, I also even experienced this on my early days on gambling and I'm pretty sure that after getting addicted it will be hard for the gambler to giveaway the chance of not playing.
3236  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Virtual trading before actual one - pros and cons on: September 16, 2020, 09:01:23 PM
But we must lose first before we really appreciate the real trading, better use small amount to try trading and learn from
 our own mistakes and experiences.

I will add that we have to lose our deposit several times to understand trading. You can't learn how to trade on a demo account, because there is no risk of losing real money. Therefore, trading on a demo account is more like a casino, when you put the entire deposit in the hope of getting a big profit.
I think its not to learn anything about profit making, its just for the purpose of identifying how these things works, once they know about trading then they can make or learn about profit making strategies which needs real money so they can feel the real pressure while making trading decisions.
In addition to your comment demoing also help a trader to perfect a trading strategy this would also enable the trader to test the water very well before going live, I have read touching stories of traders who went live and got rekt its a known fact that 95% of forex traders lost their funds or portfoliothis are mostly newbies who had not practice well before going live, I also agreed to the fact that testing with a small amount is also advisable this will enable the trader to test emotion and fear associated to trading as a newbie trader.
This commonly happened to newbies out there that expecting easy returns to the trade they are doing, Trading has a different processes and the first step is understanding, practicing and executing the knowledge they accumulate on their early stages of being a trader. Infact I do have a friend who see me gaining profit from trading, I think he taught it was easy and he secretly trade without telling me or asking advice from me or on my other friends, We just found it out when he losses his capital. This is a common mistakes of people who see trading as an easy profit job.

I want to stay updated on anything defi and be the first to grapse the opportunity. How are you guys doing it?
Twitter is the social media I mostly see crypto news since I followed many crypto-related Twitter accounts. Mostly there are twitter accounts shilling different Defi projects to gain attractions and this happens allot in twitter. Well researching the projects they are shilling if you plan to invest would be good because all of it is just hype and temporary profit.
3238  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: September 16, 2020, 05:44:20 PM
I seriously do not get the people who have like over 5 million/10 million tickets. Do they just gamble the dice so much that they end up with that much ticket? Or do they just buy all those tickets? I feel like they can't be just buying ALL those tickets, some could be purchased but not all of them, it feels like they are actually losing money no matter what the outcome is, they could potentially be the winner once but that's about it, they had to do it once and leave, which I am not sure if they do, which means they have to play constantly and they could lose so much money this way.

Unless you are constantly at top three every single week, there is no way you could be profitable. Hopefully though this helps us out, they buy constantly increasing the pot and we have a chance to win.
5million of ticket is 0.05 because of price of ticket is 1 satoshi right ?  0.05 btc is alot for an average people but that amount can be small to a big gambler but i believe that they just gamble first because its easy to gain tickets if you wagger  . they can kill two birds with one stone because they can also get the prize for daily contest aside from earning so many tickets . they can increase the prize when they buy or wagger ticket but they are decreasing the chance of other people to win
I think so that this is the case for those who spent millions of tickets, It will be an advantage in event if you are a big spender on this casino. This event can really motivates some gamblers to wager more and more for the sake of the ticket thinking that they can win more if they play more and this is mostlikely what the casino want to happen.
