3221  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Fintech Company Needs Your Opinion on: November 12, 2016, 06:39:43 AM
Digital Gold : Sounds like a scam to me.You know after the number of people got scammed on bitgold, people don't want to take risks with assets which doesn't physically exists when they're suppose to be.
I skimmed through your white paper, honestly, you're not really solving any problems which you described in the introductory section.I mean I get it you have more secure business model and such but that's what other altcoins are doing or have done, isn't it ?
3222  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Blockchain Wallet - More Than 8 Millions Users - How To Protect The Wallet on: November 12, 2016, 06:30:01 AM
Blockchain have more than 8 millions users !!! There are some nice security measurements inside Blockchain - 2 step verification, second password and advanced settings like - login IP restriction, block access from TOR etc. How to better protect Blockchain wallet and your wallet funds ? I think only advanced settings - like login IP restriction, block access from TOR, password stretching etc. really can help.
1.Blockchain and blockchain.info two separate things.
2.Provided they have taken all the possible security measures, hackers are always one step ahead of them.
3.Storing coins on a third party wallet is never actually your own wallet.
4.I agree, for daily transactions blockchain.info does serve the purpose but like every other bitcoin noob first step is to import your private keys and paraphrase, wallet identifier too.
5.Having said that, there are zero ways to recover a lost password account on blockchain.info.
3223  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin be replaced by another cryptocurrency? on: November 12, 2016, 06:29:22 AM
It's about acceptance, none can come here and say that X altcoin will replace bitcoin.

It will happen only if everybody start to use other alt and at this point I think it's improbable.
It's not the users that have problems with bitcoins but mainstream media and self proclaimed technical geniuses.Take chronoback.io,every altcoin claims to solve the problems bitcoins have but main goal is to make money, you know the founder shares.Personally, only bitcoins can solve the problems bitcoin have.
3224  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: BTC TO CASH | We ARE DISCUSSING - Come at this chat:>> tlk.io/coinbuddy on: November 11, 2016, 06:21:22 PM
I have one idea in my mind "an mobile app shows nearby money holders,
Oh boy,I wonder how easy you're making it for thugs to mug people.Or vica versa.

you deposit btc to your account and click on any money holder nearby, now he gets notification and your bitcoin goes to escrow (also he can see the). You will generate a QR code you have to share this code with him until he gives you cash, you can go to him to pickup or ask him to come at my place. Once you let him scan QR code from your mobile phone the btc goes to his account."[/i]
What if he takes a knife out and forces you to send the coins at the escrow ? In third world countries,I fear this the most.On a serious note,as mentioned above, localbitcoins did that ages ago.
3225  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: BitWorld- The all in one bitcoin app on: November 11, 2016, 06:13:21 PM
@tiggytomb take a look at BitKan may meet your needs https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.btckan.app
Been using this app since months now. This is what a modern and beautiful UI looks like!Gives me everything I need actually.

@OP : Your app comes with a shit lods of adds, isn't it ? That's probably something a bitcoin user wouldn't want on his phone..I mean I had expectations from the title, sadly disappointed.
3226  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How long will signature campaigns last? on: November 11, 2016, 05:50:56 PM
Signature campaigns are holding a decent amount of members on this forum , ending them just because we switched to another forum software wouldn't make much sense and will make a lot of users switching to forum.bitcoin.com that is desperately looking for members at the moment.
Why would you jump to the conclusion that switching to the new forum will be the end of campaigns ? To my knowledge, theymos already mentioned that Signature Campaigns is more just an advertisement,it has become a part of bitcoin culture [IIRC] and no they wouldn't end it in the new forum.Of course,if it ever happens,a new forum will easily take over that is if they have potential.
3227  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: All Campaign manager must see this post and all preople too... on: November 11, 2016, 05:46:22 PM
i'm a bangladeshi so my first Language is bangla i'm too weak on english for this reason any campaign dont accept me.i apply all campaignin this forum but no one accept me..please undestand that our mother Language is bangla not english. However i'm not bad in english but littelbit weak..if anyone have any campaignfor me please reply here....
Knowing that you wasted money on buying an account ? Not sure what's more important, using the forum to learn about bitcoins or earn bitcoins.Either way,not going to judge your English typing capabilities. You've to take a hard way if you want best of both the Worlds. You could start offering services, skills, you can earn good amount of coins.
3228  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is Poloniex a safe heaven for your digital currencies? on: November 11, 2016, 05:32:27 PM
Should Poloniex close down - which is highly unlikely - they would find a way to repay all their customer's funds.
What if you find a big note on the site tomorrow "Due to FBI Restrictions, the site is been taken down ?" Where would you go ? Who'd you ask refunds from ? It's highly likely that the message would just be a hoax by the team or the regular excuse "we've been hacked".
Storing coins on any exchanges is never safe, never have been.Take bitfinex for reference.
3229  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Zcash worth to invest in it? on: November 11, 2016, 05:19:39 PM
In my own opinion, Zcash has been overvalued, (considering that there have been privacy oriented altcoins before like Monero) and the fact that Zcash does not enforce anonymity by default (unlike Monero), it makes me wonder whenever Zcash would be a good investment or not.
Your "opinion" answers the question. No,it wouldn't be worth jack.Like other alt-coins,there would be a pump and dump phase,z-cash is going to get dumped harder.Wait for it to be sold at 1 satoshi.

If there is one thing that I don't like about Zcash, is the fact that it is behind a company, as well as having a sort of premine called Founder's reward, which seems kind of fishy to me.

How else would the company make money ?How could you not find developers having access to your private keys fishy ? Roll Eyes

3230  Economy / Gambling / Re: Monthly Best Gambling Site (November) on: November 11, 2016, 05:12:40 PM
First of all, if I'm an idiot what do you call yourself?  Grin
Don't want to share it with idiots.

2nd --  If the 10th of November is beginning of the month for you. OK..LOL. but the community has until the end of the month to vote so it's their choice if they want to vote early or not.
Which part of 10th November seems like end of the month to you ? The problem is,no one actually takes your poll seriously so doesn't matter if it's the end of the month or the world.

3rd --  I never said that this poll is really accurate as in 100% . that will never happen and everyone knows that. But I respect the votes of the community for what site they like and best for them.
What community are you talking about ? Bunch of shill accounts pumping the polls for the sites which are buried deep down under a million threads ? Or the one's which have open unsolved scam accusations ?

Last but not the least, if you are just spamming/insulting for you signature campaign. Not here, please.
I'll skip that.

btw... about that scam site you said? well, you can suggest that I can take it out of the list. I'm not sure what site you are talking about. or pm me with the proof.  thanks anyway.  Cool
Not your personal army.Do your own research.
3231  Economy / Services / Re: Looking for a VPS plan with Bitcoin payment option on: November 11, 2016, 01:42:25 PM
I'm not related to any of the VPS services providers but from my experience,I'd say start with this site which gives you precise list of available services :
http://cryto.net/~joepie91/bitcoinvps.html

(YES,it does give you a freedom to choose the country of your site.)
I've used LibertyVps (https://libertyvps.net/) which has a good uptime but quite expensive.

Depending on your application, bithost (https://bithost.io/) offers decent plans. [dedicated to mining operations]
3232  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How long will signature campaigns last? on: November 11, 2016, 01:30:04 PM
Depends on their budget really, one thing seems most of them fail to understand is the fact that signature campaign only works if it is wide spread throughout the whole forums and in long period of time which apparently yobit and 1 or 2 other campaigns could grasp it and be smart.
That comes with its own cost : - Copious Amount Of Spam.

many think that people stop on every and each signature and click on them and then follow them but they never get it that their advertisement in signatures must be seen repeatedly and regularly until it hacks into the minds of people and they get used to it and when someday someone needed something related to a specific ad in sigs easily can recall the numerous times he or she saw such service or announcement.
Honestly, signature campaigns doesn't really have anything to do with people clicking the signatures links or not. That would give them traffic, which could be bought using other methods for much cheaper. What you're missing out on is the fact advertising in bitcoin-talk gives them potential buyers/service users.

And when they fail to take a note on my statement above they'll just run out of funds and get cold feet.
You need to do your homework.Half knowledge is always dangerous.
3233  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: November 11, 2016, 01:21:48 PM
Rajshahi Kings has been decided to bowl after they won the toss against Dhaka Dynamites. Dhaka Dynamites was brilliant into its opening match and won that easily. But Rajshahi Kings lost its 1st match but I think it will go with positive mind and try to taste its 1st win so this would make so interesting this clash.
Why is this stuff discussed at the Cricket Match Predictions ? Not all will be interested in knowing about a small budget league which doesn't have betting options on most of the sites.I'm an active better ,even for the current event but a separate thread should be started to keep updates related to BPL only.

Going flexible odds with Rk's.Seems a losing bet at the moment.

Dhaka Dynamites @ 1.43
Rajshahi Kings @ 2.74
3234  Economy / Gambling / Re: Monthly Best Gambling Site (November) on: November 11, 2016, 01:11:07 PM
This post is as fake as the shills around the forum.Op,you're an idiot for considering the feedback left by shill accounts, like the one last month.I don't want to take any names but do open scam accusation section once in a while and your "best" websites are the ones listed for famous scams (not all but that specific website.) Why do people even take your threads seriously ? You're literally predicting the best website for a "month" at the beginning of the month. How lame.
3235  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Struggling to send bitcoins, android app, noob on: November 11, 2016, 01:03:13 PM
I am trying to send bitcoins from my electrum wallet but it doesn't seem to be working.
First things first, how have you downloaded your electrum wallet ? APK? Playstore ? With the cesspool of scams lying around, make sure your download is legit.
Verify here : https://download.electrum.org/2.7.12/Electrum-2.7.12.0.apk.asc

After entering details, pressing 'pay' and entering passcode a message appears with an exclamation mark that says signing, shortly followed by a message with a long series of letters and numbers on it. The bit coins are not sending.
Could you please take a screen shot ? I think their android wallet is still in a scrutiny following security bugs. However very difficult to conclude without the screen.Don't hesitate to create an issue here https://github.com/spesmilo/electrum/issues

Where am I going wrong? When I look at 'history' there is a list of my attempts to send bitcoins, with the most recent ones having a timer next to them the rest having ticks but none have sent the amount I requested; only a very small amount has been debited.
Did the transactions fell back into the wallet  or never happened at all ?
3236  Economy / Goods / Re: I VOTED FOR TRUMP - Short Sleeve T-shirt [Trending] on: November 11, 2016, 12:50:10 PM
everyone protested against trumps win.world wants love not hatred.no one will buy this.sell thumbs down for trumph many will buy
Yeah that's ironic and quite a valuable asset.

@OP,start making T-shirts for Trump Haters. Apparently, they are large in numbers and would do anything to un-support Trump.
I'd gladly wear something like "I voted a terrorist called trump and now my life's a mess" over the crap you are selling over there.
3237  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What does a President Trump mean for Bitcoin? on: November 11, 2016, 12:42:26 PM
Since the election of Trump to the new US President yesterday, many questions about Bitcoin arise.
Not really mate. Many questions about America's Future (and present) are on the rise.

Will he promote Bitcoin and make it a breakthrough? Will he even officially ban Bitcoin? Will he make such a bad economic (and monetary) policy that Bitcoin will be seen as an alternative for many?
That would make sense if he even had a clue what economy is all about.Frankly,it's not him who takes the decisions, the senate and finance minister does. It's an combined effort.I doubt he even knows what bitcoin is.Being his president or not doesn't really matter to the community anyway.

What do you think, what will a President Trump mean for Bitcoin?
Nothing.Bitcoin is  ran by networks, not corporate slaves.
3238  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Just bought Bitcoin from a train ticket machine in Switzerland for a trip abroad on: November 11, 2016, 12:36:51 PM
Why stuff like this always gets thrown off reddit's bitcoin section ? I guess we need a bitcoin off-topic subredit for that.

Glad you actually took your time out to snap all those pictures. What were the service charges anyway ? Did you pay extra for using the service ?Honestly, not worth it if you actually paid more than the original price of the ticket.
3239  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [ANN] Nodio. A blockchain-powered router that serves as a platform for DApps. on: November 05, 2016, 06:10:32 AM
Hey, thank you for your comment. Now it is a prototype, working on top of Snapdragon 820, we are working with 3d printing, choosing the best possible materials, and negotiating with manufacturers. Very soon there will be a tech article on our medium with our prototypes, schematics, etc. No, it's not just a dream, we have started this crowdsale, because this will be an open-source solution and we are funding this project with our own.
That's what I'm saying,it's difficult for investors to believe in something that doesn't exists.I mean it's still a concept, isn't it ? I'd want to invest as badly as I want the product but knowing the blueprint (a working modal) is not developed yet makes me a bit insecure. You would not know what further technological challenges the team will face unless you have moved a step ahead.
3240  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [ANN] Nodio. A blockchain-powered router that serves as a platform for DApps. on: November 05, 2016, 05:54:12 AM
Brilliant concept!

Have you got the blueprint of the modal developed ? I'm keen on looking at the modal instead of the videos. You could show us unoboxing of the product if at all it's developed.I'm afraid I won't be investing a single satoshi if this all is just a dream.
