Is there any specific reason why you're not accepting deposits from the US anymore?
There is not much to explain I guess, just the US laws.If you wish to read up on the topic,I found an archive : https://archives.fbi.gov/archives/news/stories/2007/june/gambling_060607
tl;dr you can gamble your life out at Vegas Casinos in America but it is illegal to gamble online especially if the gambling website is located outside of the US.

Will you be banning Belgian IP addresses too? AFAIK Belgian law also prohibits unlicensed casino's (unlicensed in Belgium) to offer their services to Belgian citizens.
That could be the case but it is least of their government's concerns. As far as I know they're okay with it only under one condition,

Quote
the main restriction lies in minimal age limits to enter premises or to participate in gambling activities.
2342  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Decentralised Web Data Mining. Thoughts? on: August 04, 2017, 07:46:25 PM
Shortly, it is a peer-to-peer network of miners who share their traffic and processing power to mine the web data.
Traffic and processing power ?Why ? I could just write very efficient python bot to do the same.I didn't understand mining webdata, can't hadoop do the same with better precision ?

Web data mining enables businesses to automatically and rapidly extract large scale data from any accessible web and save it as structured data. We create open source decentralised data mining service with nearly unlimited resources - unlimited computer power, unlimited network access points.
I still don't understand why you need so much of computer power ? The data would be text or collection of files, images, videos etc ? If you intend to share the data storage on miners computers,it makes sense.

Project is at very early stage and run by 4 enthusiasts (2 of them are phd's in computer science). Daratus network launch will strongly rely on community. Therefore your thoughts and suggestions would be highly appreciated.
Interesting.I'd follow your project on  github or something.
2343  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: About BCC on: August 04, 2017, 07:26:30 PM
So I don't know much about it, just have a quick question. Let's say I got like $200 in btc sent to my wallet on the 1st, does that mean I also have BCC? From what I've read I'll need to send all my BTC in my wallet to a new wallet, then "sweep" the BCC.

I'm just curious if that is the right process and if I possibly have BCC. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
-> Yes you also have BCC.
-> What you have heard is wrong ? The process of converting BTC To BCH from your wallets it's not simple. You may lose your bitcoins or would have your wallet compromised in the process. If I had to give you a wise advice, forget about claiming your BCH for a week or two until there is  a stable/secure way of doing so.
2344  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BCH sent to BCT address- money now lost! Help! on: August 04, 2017, 07:22:32 PM
Hello,
Two days ago, I recovered my Bitcoin Cash from my BTC wallet. I read that Kraken is one of the sites that accepts Bitcoin cash so I made an account with them. Once I was registered and verified, I then went on to BTC and went through the recovery site to get my BCH. After recovery, it prompted me for an address to send it to. I then went on to my Kraken account and looked for a BCH funding address for the deposit but there was none. I panicked, as the recovery site wanted and address then and there to send it to and i could not find the right one. I then produced a BTC address instead and used it to send the Bitcoin Cash there. This was obviously not a good idea- I have been waiting for the money for over two days now and it seems to have disappeared.
Well deserved! Greed is destructive. You really gotta be out of your mind to not know how crypto works and are just here for making some quick bucks.I hope you and everybody else learns something out of your situation. As the great minds said, choice patience over greed and I see where you're going.Could have waited a 1 week more to claim your BCH.

I have since talked to both BTC.com and Kraken support. BTC.com have told me that they have sent the BCH and that it is a confirmed transaction on the bloc, which makes sense to me. Kraken, on the other hand, have referred to an email that they sent out before I signed up with them, telling people not to send the BCH to a BTC address and that it is very resource intensive to recover lost crypto currencies, so they will not bother helping me and instead use the time to create an open post for this mistake to be prevented in the future.
If it is a confirmed transaction, does that mean that Kraken has the BCH somewhere in their system or my address and is it legal for them to hold on to it? This is a matter of 14.2 BCH and I cannot see how this can just be ignored by Kraken because of "resource intensive" work? Too bad, so sad?
Is there any possibility for me to get it back??
I would appreciate any advice on this.
Thank you!!
I think you should give up hopes. The tech isn't stable at the moment, markets are still getting adjusted to BCH and are in the process of updating their stacks.Next time doing something like that I hope you read a lesson or two on the blockchain.
2345  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: BTC.com | BITCOIN WALLET | Safe, secure & trusted on: August 04, 2017, 07:13:36 PM
--snipe--
It's good to see you're the only online wallet that provides support for BCH by providing a recovery tool.I have a few questions before I use the service.
-> I have a blockchain.info wallet with access to my private keys,is it possible to just export the key into your BCH tool without having to import my wallet into BTC.com's wallet first ?
-> Do I have to transfer my funds into BTC.com wallet and then convert those funds into BCH ?
What are the security risks involved ? How vulnerable is one from getting their coins compromised in the process ?

Any proof of the payment?
You wouldn't ask that question had you been operating your computer with your eyes closed. The transaction ID is mentioned in the first post, for your sakes c9dfcb5bc39ef65d7b7d45ebc277100a4c2a159c00ba7ff2d74efee9a42e6faf (proof of payment)

2347  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Mayweather Vs McGregor: Info and prediction thread on: August 04, 2017, 04:29:02 PM
Conor may be good at MMA but he isn't in boxing. He must have forgot that Floyd is one hell of a fast guy and can decide to engage quickly and move out swiftly like he always did to most of his fights. Its a cowardly move but definitely a style of his own.
-> Connor isn't a boxer and that is why it is going to work in his favour.
-> You don't understand a simple logic,Connor might have watched every single boxing game of Mayweather and studied his style and his moves. On the other end,Mayweather doesn't know jack shit about Mcgregor's boxing moves since he hasn't disclosed any!
->Now who has more chances of winning ? The player who knows and have studied other player's game or the player who has no idea what other player's game is like ?

2349  Economy / Services / Re: Wallet recovery service on: August 04, 2017, 02:59:14 PM

Blockchain.info wallets

Mind elaborating how are you planning to do so? At this point,I call your service a pathetic scam attempt.
Anybody planning to use the service be careful what wallet info you might send it to him ,it's an invitation to get your wallets compromised.Suppose I have forgotten my blockchain.info's wallet login identifier,I have no access to passphrase,no private keys,no email access but just an address. Is it still possible for you to recover my wallet ?  Undecided
2350  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: bcc private key addresses on: August 03, 2017, 07:31:11 PM
I can get my private keys from blochain.info via the bip39-generator but this generator gives one account extended key and a list of 100 adres-private key pairs.
which adress - key pairs must i import in a bcc compatile wallet to get my bcc"s?
must i just import the de private keys of the addresses which i find in the list of the used addresses on the site blockchain.info?
1.Please link me to the generator you're talking about.

2.Blockchain.info does give you your private keys if your wallet is imported. In my case,it gives me all my private keys.

3.Bip39 generator doesn't work lie that. You need not freak out, wait for a while until there is a stable way to export your keys from blockchain.info wallet to get BCH.Right now,you can go the hard way buy moving your coins to an external wallet and then again moving it to the BCH compatible wallet .This process would work but it isn't less risky.
2351  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Withdrawing Bitcoin Cash From Freebitco.in? on: August 03, 2017, 07:10:10 PM
Has anyone managed to withdraw bitcoin cash from freebitco.in?
All I'm getting is an option to convert it into bitcoin so then I'd have to go to another site to convert it back...
What is the other site ? Please don't mind sharing.
If I was you,I'd be extremely careful my private keys with any third party sites which aren't mentioned on the BCH's  official page.In the process, you will also lose your bitcoins if your private keys are compromised.

Alternate solution : Just move your coins to a more secure wallet and hold it for a few days until a stable method approved by the community has come up.
2352  Economy / Gambling / Re: ⚽ Sportsbet.io 💰 Weekly offers! ⚽ on: August 03, 2017, 07:04:37 PM
So you guys are not planning to give users any Bitcoincash? You will keep all those free BCC as profit or you have taken snapshot of user's balances so that you can give what users deserves?
That depends if they're supporting bitcoin cash.Even if they don't officially announce on their website,it's understandable that they will export the coins down the line.Players don't have access to their bitcoins stored on the betting wallet anyway so definitely it isn't possible for them to access their BCH unless sportsbet.io decides to send it manually.
And you know they won't because they'd use the excuse they don't support BCH.Had someone been cleaver, they'd have moved their coins from their wallets since it was announced.
2353  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How to join in Campaign/s? on: August 03, 2017, 06:33:16 PM
I just want to ask, can I join two or more signature campaigns simultaneously? Or it is dependent by what the signature manager's requirements? You need to have a banner right, but what if the other campaign doesn't require it? Is it possible? Thank you.
Please stay away from the forum until you learn something.I wonder how do you idiots even land on the forum for earning through signature campaigns when you have no idea what a signature space or a campaign really is.I won't be surprised if you become a Hero member and wonder what bitcoin is.

No You can't do this you Just join one signature campaign at same time. if you do this then you have to Banned form here. when its end then you join other campaign. but you can join 2 or more social  campaign at time. That's time you have problem to join social campaign.
You don't get banned for joining two signature campaigns because two signatures won't fit  in your signature space. All the signatures try to utilise as much space as possible.
2354  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: BTC.com this wallet scam?? why freeze my money 4BTC on: August 03, 2017, 05:54:28 PM
#update 2

they send this link to me now https://recovery.blocktrail.com/
i try recrvery to new wallet now

The problem has been resolved.

With slow and unspecified services on Wallet recovery, the freezing of money is unreasonable.

I have decided to move to another wallet. And will not come back to BTC.COM

poor service  Angry Angry Angry
You shouldn't really depend on any third party wallets or their recovery software.Did you use your private keys to get your wallet recovered ? If yes,you need to move your coins into a different wallet altogether.I know you want your BCH badly, take a chill pill for a while until the things are stable, losing 4btc isn't worth the risks involved.
2355  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to make Bitcoin transacrions anonymous? on: August 03, 2017, 05:39:18 PM
As we all know the blockchain is a public network and sometimes it is ued for buying drugs, weapons etc. For eample if I am going to sell bitcoin to someone I don't know what is the best way to stay anonymous after such transactions? So in case my buyer will use those bitcoins for buying drugs I would be able to stay away from it.
If I understood your question correctly, you want to know how can you buy drugs with bitcoins and still be anonymous ?
Answer is : You can't.
This isn't something to do with bitcoin transactions but you exposing yourself to the shipping services and drug dealers in real life.
If the bitcoins had been on the internet without availing real life services, you could still be anonymous. If you as an individual are anonymous on the internet starting from the exchange you bought your coins from,it will be hard to link any addresses to you in real life.
2356  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Any opensource cryptocurrency exchange site in active delopvement? on: August 03, 2017, 05:28:12 PM
I checked out ButterCoin and the outdated OpenEx , I'm looking for something PHP atleast for the Website.
You want to work on an open-source project you mean ?
If yes,why want to select only php based projects ? In the upcoming years, php will be completely replaced by functional programming languages by JavaScript on the back-end.If you really wish to contribute to something for learning sakes, try scala based crypto projects. You will learn a lot about programming.

Well, you're also doing it right now. We're all signature spammer here.  -Just kidding.
No,I don't get paid for the posts in this section :')
2358  Other / Meta / Re: Required Minimum Post of a Signature Campaign should not allow too! on: July 29, 2017, 09:24:56 AM
Banning or not allowing campign manager to make a minimum post every week will help lessening signature spammers.

Thoughts?
1.You can help lessen signature spammers by giving up your job as a campaign manager to someone who can hire good posters. All the signature campaigns you have managed produced a good amount of shit posters including yourself.

2.If there isn't a minimum posts every week condition, fixed campaigns would end up paying week's quote for posters who make just 5-7 posts per week. Not the best outcome for someone paying 0.03+ per week. They expect some promotion isn't it ?

3.The proposal would make sense if the week's quote is around 40-50 posts in a campaign filled with bad quality posters.

4.Lutpin's rules for crypto-games signature campaign is a perfect example how he can manage to keep minimum posts per week and make sure no one spams.25 posts per week, isn't spam compared to what pay per post campaigns do.
2359  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are people using Ethereum to create token ? on: July 29, 2017, 06:43:16 AM
Dear Community,

I have been looking around the website for the answer but I have not found anything clear. The question is simple, why are most of the token being created are on the Ethereum blockchain ?

Why are people not using alternatives like ETC, Counterparty, Statis, etc ? what are the advantages and disadvantages of using the Ethereum blockchain in this case ?

In my opinion, most people are using Ethereum because out of all blockchains, ethereum has the biggest and most active developer community.
Etherum has the biggest  developer community because the API provided by them is comparatively simple to learn, understand and implement smart contracts. Also as an advantage you have solidity which makes things more easier. The only disadvantage I find is complex generation of addresses like bitcoin.
If you keep ETH apart,Lisk is second best developer network which allows simple Javascript implementation.
2360  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC is amazing. But... on: July 29, 2017, 06:28:12 AM
There are many miners spread all around the world and just as many merchants and bitcoin users. China might dominate

Bitcoin mining, but they are not the only miners/users/merchants. We will take a huge hit if we lost China, but we will also

not go down without them. Asic chip manufacturing will have to move to Silicon Valley, if the Chinese market stops.  Roll Eyes
And then if the move to the Silicon Valley, all the unexpected, unwanted scene would happen to the bitcoin scene.Commercial vultures will start peaking their beaks into the decentralised cultures.Trump's Associates will use World Bank to put all the money into buying ASIC and start their own mining company which producers their own miners with a secret bitcoin controlling device inside it.
Sorry for my confused lecture. My point is,let China alone dominate the mining scene.
