2221  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Fake news :Bitcoin is not banned in china on: September 15, 2017, 11:47:47 PM
What do you think how long will it take to spread around the neighbouring countries ? This is bad move and could affect bitcoin in the long run.

I can confirm that India and Pakistan won't be affected my China's views on Bitcoins. India, with the second most population,  favours online currency to play an important role in the market. What bugs me is how is mining being affected vastly by China's withdrawal from the Bitcoin network.
Around the world, Bitcoin has influenced itself over the last 7 months with its rising price from 800 to 4k$. It's a  progress leap of 500%.
In the future, it will only keep rising more.
On a side note, could you summarise in a few words as to why China has started withdrawing from the Bitcoin market?
Indian will be the first country to ban bitcoin after China. The government is already implementing heavy tax schemes and they don't appreciate cryptos. There are no laws governing the scene at the moment but if one country starts banning it,certainly it will spread the word around.
2222  Economy / Gambling / Re: Any multiplayer games where you can bet bitcoin? on: September 15, 2017, 11:36:41 PM
I want fun, multiplayer games to make bets with my friends using Bitcoin. My favorite of all times that I've seen was this:
Sadly there is no future for those gambling types.I have seen a few other websites which were shut down within a month of launch. The primary reasons were,
 - Lack of players online if someone wants to play.
 - Solo players don't want to play with bots.If everyone plays with their friends,it's obvious people would have to wait to find a matc

Unfortunately the project is abandoned. It could have been awesome if it got perfected with the lag problems fixed and so on. I love the idea of arcade games mixed with bitcoin. I was wondering if anyone knows any similar games where you can bet some bitcoin at.
Nope.You can bet on e-sports.
2223  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Blockchain.info stole from my wallet 175$ on: September 15, 2017, 11:32:41 PM
I woke up on the morning and see -175$ ..
i ran malware byte and found 0 viruses.
no one could know my password.

beware of this site. terrible day for me.
In my 2 years of experience wit the blockchain.info wallet,I don't think they would do anything like  that.Of course unless your account has been hacked (not just the account but your computer). It is very easy to know your password if have a keylogger in your computer.Had you download a back-up of your private keys on your local machine ?
2224  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What will happen to the china based cryptos ? on: September 15, 2017, 11:14:37 PM
All are dead and no more new coins and which ever have started now they have to dilute their funds or else they are going to face a law problems.
Stop with the FUD man! There are no apparent conclusions that the coins will be dead or the ban is going to wipe out the entire crypto-scene.Chinese government is just paranoid with the missiles flying from the North Koera and hence panic banning their un-taxed businesses.Jokes only!

Worst case scenario, the company will be "sold" off-shore (outside China).  Wink
Yes and the team will move to another country to operate the project from off-shores,well only on the papers. They all know how to do cloud computing. Wink
2225  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Once we apply for a signature campaign, how we will get confirmation? on: September 15, 2017, 11:05:40 PM
Once we apply for a Signature campaign, how does we will get the confirmation from them? and how much time it will take to get the confirmation?
No one treats to specially. You need to check for updated spreedsheet. If you are accepted, your name must be reflected there.
Also, don't worry too much about signature campaign at the moment. You will be rejected from most of the campaigns for terrible posting quality.Learn basics of the forum in the meantime.
2226  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Fake news :Bitcoin is not banned in china on: September 15, 2017, 11:00:00 PM
Don't panic and don't sell your crypto  Angry, it is only fake news , they can't bane banne bitcoin  Cool
I have told you that some Chinese exchanges might be banned according to our own sources. Do not forget China cannot ban Bitcoin and is not banning bitcoin. The market is going down a bit now but in my view it will recover. Do not panic. Tongue Roll Eyes
Coming from a dude who calls himself "Islam Power".Do you really want me to consider your thoughts logical ?

don't panic none of nation worldwide can affect bitcoin , we are strong enjoying freedom of payment everywhere . they only can close exchanges but nothing else can be done still chineses can use bitcoin ,eth even NEO
You're forgetting the fact China controls most of the mining scene so banning bitcoin in such country would definitely mean something.

Whether an actual "ban" or not, I'm curious what long-term changes this will have to other countries and how they interact with cryptocurrency. Thoughts?
What do you think how long will it take to spread around the neighbouring countries ? This is bad move and could affect bitcoin in the long run.

4.Check if the error code is 405 in the response or your requests are going as options.
4.Headers might be needs to send along with the request to allow access.I can help you if you format the code nicely and figure out what exactly the problem is.
2229  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you monitor your crypto portfolio? on: September 15, 2017, 09:37:12 PM
I haven't managed to find a crypto portfolio tracker that works better than a spreadsheet I have. I'm curious what other folks use—would love to hear any tips about what is or isn't working for folks.

In the meantime, I'm going to try and make some improvements to my spreadsheet tool at cointracker.network for anyone to try (feedback welcome).
Doesn't exodus run their own tracker ?
I have few traders come to me for developing a custom tracker application for Desktop.Indeed,I advice the same, get yourself a customised coin tracker programmed.

I also use blockfolio app and coinomi. On coinomi, I see the prices on one site, so I don't need a spreadsheet. Blockfolio gives me the needed charts, history and price alerts.

Too bad they still don't have an iOS application.Otherwise they're a bit safer online wallet.

I went the completely lazy route.  I mostly just buy and hold things that are supported in Exodus/Eden Wallet, so I can see them and manage them all in the same place.  They support about 25 assets now, and plan to support quite a few more.  I do have some holdings that are not supported, and just keep them in separate wallet.
Well my first comment makes more sense now. Thanks for clarifying!
2230  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which are the upcoming ICOs with working product? on: September 15, 2017, 09:34:04 PM
With so many ICOs flying around, can someone give a hint which team already has a working product and then launching an ICO, instead of the other way around.
Not recently.Infact,I don't know any in the crypto-scenario.If you look at it indirectly, bitcoin kinda did that.Didn't  start as an ICO but got the most investors of the future. Smiley

As i know the developers of social network running their own ICO (kin.kik.com) ,in few words it is cryptocurrency  that can be used in social network.
Seems cool. Are they legit though ? Can't find them on bitcointalk.

CommerceBlock has a working MVP used by customers - an invoicing system. They've implemented zero knowledge proofs on the original bitcoin blockchain  but ultimately the underlying technology is blockchain agnostic and can be on any chain that uses homomorphic encryption keys. The invoicing system is a working POC of the underlying protocol layer that will evolve to provide services like derivatives trading, atomic swaps and token/asset creation. They've got a bip under review too. Almost ICO ready
Sounds so centralised to me.They have the working product ready without an hint of the innovation in the market ? Is their code-base open-sourced ?
2231  Economy / Gambling / Re: ⚽ Sportsbet.io 💰 Weekly offers! ⚽ on: September 15, 2017, 09:29:23 PM
Site looks legit.  Some good betting options.

Anyone care to elaborate about the apparent "scam" accusations?
You don't need a proper guidance to know that. You can find all the related accusations if you perform a google search with the keywords "Sportsbet.io Scams",that yields out the related links on bitcointalk/other blogs.
If that doesn't convince you or you're too lazy to read stuff from scratch, simply check the trust ratings left by the DT members on their profiles and read the reference links.Having said that,I'm not stopping you from playing on the website or anything. It's a personal preference.
2232  Economy / Gambling / Re: ⚽ Sportsbet.io 💰 Weekly offers! ⚽ on: September 15, 2017, 08:49:01 PM
Seems stupid question you have asked here. Since everybody looks out to be a anonymous member. How you expect to get the server level information here. Even small scale in your city also will never leak out the server and official information. Nothing is about security concern in your question Angry
He is not asking where the server is located inside of a network tree, just the location.Does one not have a right to know how secure is their money with a particular company ?  I think they do especially if they company is accused of running fraud businesses and can go down the drain any given time of the day.
Customer security should be every customer's concern. You look the type of people who are first one's to lose they money whenever a new ICO/exchanges goes down.
2233  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Nexchange.io too many suspicious activity on: September 15, 2017, 08:45:05 PM
1.They way they reply to the participants, doesn't look like they're a legit business at all.
2.OP sis right about the suspicious activities, the way they have had things coming since their signature campaign.
3.You should start doubting the business especially if they claim to be,

First of all, we'd like you to know that we are a legitimate business.

4.Don't think they're using escrow anywhere in their project ?
2234  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is there any true blockchain based gambling game ? on: September 14, 2017, 10:08:11 PM
^ Title speaks for itself...

Update: Below I'm listing blockchain based gambling games suggested on this thread...

i. https://www.chain-bet.com
Not from any reputed websites I know of.Actually,it doesn't matter since most of the top websites have their own provable fair mechanisms. If you only wish to use blockchain based games just for the sake of provable fairness,it isn't a good idea.
You can look for special on-chain bets which are mainly used for public bets and such.
2235  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you like to see in an ICO? on: September 14, 2017, 09:17:06 PM
Are buyers of ICO cryptos.. What are important things you guys like to see in a company / company presentation when buying their crypto?

What are the top 3 important things would you say that makes something more appealing?

1.A plan and a solid team.
2.It's 2017,most of the ideas are saturated and if you're not offering something unique to the market, your project is already a failure.
3.The team is actually making efforts for marketing, codebase in the active development phase before the ICO.I hate to see projects with empty github codebase before the ICO.
4.Idea plays the most important role but without a great team, the idea wouldn't go anywhere.

Most ICOs only concentrate on product launch, and have no idea how to keep their coin popular.

Yes! That's because they have made their money and now the project just survives due to traders.
2236  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Bitsler.com not fare and scam the player who win the game on: September 09, 2017, 10:40:25 AM
1) Why instead of letting the customer knows before if you knew he has been doing this for months that's like abusing peoples time, don't get me wrong but that's what it looks like at all, you let them play til cashout time and then ban hes account ?
They wouldn't have thought someone could be so jobless to leech from a faucet but rate they know about the faucet leechers anyway lol Pretty sure they'll have limitations on the faucet now.

2) Has this customer and all others in question farming from faucet gotten their non-gambled deposit back ? I mean actually if they really gambled something it should count from their farmed coins and not towards their deposits but you haven't said anything about that.
Either way since there were no rules on the faucet money,I think the gamblers still deserve the win regardless of where the deposits come from.
2237  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Rare breed KITTENS for ETH/BTC Worldwide delivery on: September 09, 2017, 10:32:49 AM
Been talking with the OP for a while and I must admit they're  a genuine person and they can definitely ship the kittens across borders.I'm in the process of buying a Kitty for myself and I shall vouch for them once our deal goes smooth.
2238  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: To Gamble or To Invest? on: September 09, 2017, 10:28:57 AM
Everything has risk in this world. Even sitting the whole day in your room has its own risk. If you want to have something with no risk that means you wont have any reward at all from that risk. Choose which one that suits you the most if you think that you want to have bigger reward then simply choose one with higher risk
That's just plain stupid to do something which has the highest risk. And it necessarily doesn't mean the reward would be bigger, bigger the risk.Investing $100 in bitcoins in the early phase wasn't a big risk ,however after 3 years the rewards are much much better considering the risk.

i think the both have some risks , gambling is perfect if you think you have skills or investissement may be better if you have some knowledge in trading
Your answer sums up all the answers in the given thread.Senseless.
2239  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why don't ICO's use Coinbase or similar services for payments? on: September 09, 2017, 10:24:23 AM
Can one of you tech savvy guys tell me why ICO's don't use services like Coinbase to accept funds for their ICO's?
Because coinbase doesn't allow it ?

I see in my account where I could add a shopping cart to my website to take payments in many different coins (the same way I would add a Paypal cart) and that takes about 5 minutes.  Why don't these guys just use one of these services and they could accept just about any coin?
You do know right coinbase is an centralised exchange ? They wouldn't consider ICO's as a legal way of (taxed) income. Moreover, why would an ICO trust coinbase with their funds ? What if the website goes down tomorrow ?
2240  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Project needing Investors on: September 09, 2017, 09:59:36 AM
Since the project is full-fledged developed,I 'm wondering why do you need investments for ? You can expand the business without some potential investment and you know it.
If you want to spread across border,I'd suggest you to hire developer/marketing professionals for the 10% that you are ready to offer the investors.
