3241  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Feel Pressed Something while Gambling on: May 22, 2021, 09:06:07 AM

Jackpot could happen  Grin

But as said many people above - sometimes gamblers get a heart attack, not just shitting in their own pants. And if you're in a hard game, you don't think about such "small" problems like where to shit. Especially if you're addicted to gambling

You have a point the guy maybe is having a jackpot and he doesn't want to miss that I experienced one time that I need to control myself from taking a piss because I am about to win a jackpot, so if you are going to gamble be sure you are not full so you will not experience a situation like this.
There are gamblers who can control themselves and there are others who cannot.

Controlling ourselves in gambling is very important, but we also need to listen to our emotions and our body. If we are getting uncomfortable with gambling than surpressing that feeling is not the best idea. Our body will tell us when we need to take a break and we should be listening. We only have one body and need to take care of it, physically and mentally.
3242  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Holding 5 years a just a imagination on: May 22, 2021, 08:51:32 AM

we keep the coins at least 5 years , but its too long imagination.  you can proof it. 2018 early NEM coin was top 6 Marketcap now 56. so keeping its useless. we have to updated everytime and get the action the correct time and exit.

Now i think bear market is going on , so holding for 4,5 years just a imagination. specially i have to say that TOP 5 coins , we must keep  most probebly they will surpass the All time high again.

what all your perspectives?

5 years might be a bit too long, but I try and hold my coins for 2-5 years. There are examples where holding wasn't a good idea and then there are examples where it made sense. For example doge coin or ether. What if we sold our coins last year? We would have missed out on so many profits. As long as there are no bad news coming out for the Coin I would just hold it.
3243  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Firearms Policy on: May 22, 2021, 08:46:33 AM

While I always noticed that USA has the most loosen restrictions when it comes to owning firearms. I just happened to find out that in singapore, even carrying of pepper spray for self-defense is illegal.

How come that Singapore can ban all these weapons and not be a den of criminals, And USA can't.

Really? That's crazy, how is owning a pepper spray illegal. I can understand that banning firearms is good for the country and will reduce the crime rate. But controlling firearms in a city country like Singapore than a massive country like USA. Even if you would ban guns completely overnight, how could you enforce such a law? There is no way you could go to every person and check their house.
3244  Economy / Economics / Re: If we have crypto Why people still buy stocks? on: May 22, 2021, 08:40:55 AM
Why people still buy stocks?
If with crypto much bigger profits *
3% daily gain is nothing If you can get 100% profit with Good coins pump.
How the Hell people Even get rich with stocks with so small profits?

because they Trust stocks as those has a real product and real investors , not like in crypto that still questionable for them and we can't blame those people.

We are tend to risk here , and same for them in stocks.

We saw the risk involved in crypto currencies this week. Bitcoins dropped easily 10-20% in one single day. Such kind of volatility doesn't happen often in blue chip stocks. The average investors is usually risk averse, he looks for a way to save his wealth with some upside potential. The risk of losing all the money is too much for most investors.
3245  Other / Off-topic / Re: Yet another elon thread. on: May 22, 2021, 08:37:45 AM
I like what Elon Musk is doing with spaceX, going to Mars is a great idea and do is giving free Internet to poor people with their satellites. Even tesla is a good company, building electric cars is honorable. But what I don't agree with is manipulation of the crypto markets. He has no right to exploit his twitter to manipulate prices for his own goals. Saying that Bitcoin mining is bad for the environment feels like saying everything else is good, like mining gold for example. Which is not true.
3246  Other / Off-topic / Re: Poll: Are you going to get Married? on: May 22, 2021, 07:15:15 AM
It's no secret that relationships, dating, marriages and families are experiencing shifts unseen since the beginnings of civilization.

In today's modern society, there are Pros and Cons to being married depending on one's life choices, location and ambitions.

What are your thoughts on Marriage in the 21st century, and ultimately Are you Going to Get Married?

This is hard decision in todays world. In my country marriage is not so common anymore, and it is more a question about money than actual love. A friend of mine for example is just 30 and got divorced twice. And another friend is together with his girlfriend for more than 10 years, the even have 2 kids but don't want to get married. For me I probably would get married one day, but I am not sure if it really makes sense. Been together with my girlfriend for around 2 years and she never hinted anything about marriage.
3247  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Benefits of international trade. on: May 22, 2021, 06:40:01 AM
International trading is the exchange of goods and services, or can also be said as the buying and selling of goods beyound international boundaries. Trading has to do with the buyer and the seller. There are Some ctivities that goes on  the trading process. There has to be a negotations. Trading globally helps to creat awesness of an exiting locally made Products to foreign countries. International trading has a lot of benefits to our society and also serves as a source of revenue.

Trading internationally is so common in todays world, I would say that 90% of the countries rely on trading internationally. For example, countries with a lot of natural resources need the money of selling it to have a good income. Looking at Norway or the middle East, these countries got rich by selling Oil. They import a lot of produced goods but still have a positive trade balance due to their large exports. Most countries are tying to get a positive trade balance, but since trading is a zero sum game. There needs to be some countries who are net importers and some countries who are net exporters.
3248  Economy / Economics / Re: Understanding a bear market. on: May 22, 2021, 06:33:50 AM
Also I would add that bear markets are very rapid. Especially in the crypto world is common to see a 10-20% drop in a single day. So if we as investors can't make sure to sell at the beginning of the bear market, it might just be better to hold our coins. As you said, it is very difficult to find the bottom of a bear market. If we are too cautious then we will likely start buying again too late, when the prices have risen again. And if we are too optimistic than we will buy while the prices are falling. To find the exact bottom seems impossible to me. The best strategy in my opinion is to just go and start buying every week a few coins, the chances to hit the bottom like that is better.
3249  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online gambling becomes popular on: May 20, 2021, 12:34:46 PM
A few years ago when the pandemic is not yet coming to our economy or when the virus is not yet starting because physical gambling is the hype in which live poker, live tables are the ones who are in the mainstream but due to that pandemic is happening into us. Online gambling becomes more popular than live gambling and it is because of the pandemic in which people are limited to go outside and to lessen the mass gathering that will be brought by live gamblings.

In my country it is exactly the same, physical casinos were always popular. It was the pandemic that closed these casinos for half year. So the regulars who like gambling had to transition into the online world. Especially older people never tried online gambling before but really like it now, because they gamble from home from their couch while watching TV.  It is really hard to imagine how the life after the pandemic will look like. Who knows if all the gamblers will go back to their favourite casinos and quit online gambling again.
3250  Economy / Economics / Re: Risk of Scarcity. on: May 20, 2021, 12:27:40 PM
Now a days our economy suffers deficiency of supply due of high population, poverty and lack of oriented of an individual. Supply Chain Management (SCM) one who managed the flow Good's and service into raw material into finished product. Right now the resources of foods and services it's getting worst due of the pandemic more People's lose their works , and the supply of an Government it is not enough for everyone.

I find it a big problem as well that the supply chain management changed the world so much. Companies are afraid to do inventory, everything needs to be done just in time. There is no room for error. In the food industry it is the most dangerous. What if we have 1 year of bad crops with only 20% return compared to the average yield? This is very dangerous. We can already see the problems right now in Africa and south America. I read in an article that in Brazil 1 out 6 people don't have enough food right now. That is terrible, we should do better.
3251  Other / Off-topic / Re: Scientific proof that God exists? on: May 20, 2021, 12:19:26 PM
The sun is shining, planets and galaxies are flying and spinning for no obvious reason. What other scientific proof needed in the existence of God?  Wink Wink

So all this randomness is proof that God exist? Many people make the same argument just with the opposite conclusion. I mean if bod exist and we are something special, why aren't we at the center of the universe then? And if we are not special, why aren't there many more planets with life? It kind of feels sad that we are all alone here.
3252  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: This is heartbreaking on: May 20, 2021, 12:02:12 PM
I decided to check out coinmarketcap.com/new today for any new listed projects but what I saw is heartbreaking, many people are just creating versions of their own meme coins over and over, if you see this and you don't have a change of mind about meme coins you will forever be a fool

They are patiently waiting to start an hype and idiots who want to buy Mansions in a week will start buying in

I feel the same about all these new meme coin. I wish the exchanges would make a special category for meme coins so they don't show up anywhere on the main pages. The risk of these coins are huge because the coins are almost worthless. The only thing as investors we can do is to not invest into them and just avoid it. If no one talks about these coins than they will eventually just die.
3253  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Fact: You cannot be secure in Zionism but can be in other religions on: May 20, 2021, 11:54:12 AM
Fact: You cannot be secure in Zionism but can be in other religions

Fact: You cannot be secure in Zionism but can be in other religions. As Zionism only supports Oppression or a system which supports Oppression, Injustice and brutality. I see many other religions like Orthodox Judaism, Christianity, Buddhism, Atheism, Shiite supports humanity while Zionism is just Oppression, Injustice and brutality. The people who follows Zionism claims that other religions are fair but it is not the fact. They are Hypocrites. As an Atheist, I know this very well. Atheism just supports humanity. It does not blame anyone or anything. It just supports justice.

I think the exact same holds true for Islam or even Christianity. The problem is not the religion itself but rather extremist who misuse the religion for their personal agenda. Humans have fought wards based on religion for thousands of years. But in the end it was just people who did bad things. Saying that a complete religion is evil is wrong, every religion has good and bad people.
3254  Economy / Economics / Re: A Sudden Price Drop in The Crypto Markets on: May 20, 2021, 11:51:10 AM
Bitcoin is pushing the 35-36k borders if it gets lower than 35,000 is it likely to further drop to around 30,000?

Probably yes, but the downfall seems to have stopped for now. At the moment bitcoin is back above 40,000 so there are definitely still buyers in the market. I was really afraid that we would just see a complete sell off back to 20,000 levels. Personally,I am holding my coins but what does one small investor matter. If we go below 30,000 I think it would be a good idea to start buying again.
3255  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you believe magic real? on: May 20, 2021, 11:44:26 AM
I think there are unexplained forces that can be termed as "magic." Even down to things like lucid dreaming seems sort of magical

It might be okay to classify unexplained forces as magic right now, because our understand is just too limited to comprehend what is going on. But will humans in 50 or 100 years be able to explain such forces? Probably. Many nature events which were looked on as magic on the dark ages are fully explained today. I think it's better to accept that we don't know everything and call it unknown instead of magic.
3256  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Man lost £20,000 in one night after becoming addicted to online gambling! on: May 20, 2021, 11:38:30 AM
That is brutal.  Oh well, he can always get a job or go  on welfare.

Good luck getting 20,000 back from welfare. Even with a normal job saving 20,000 is a lot of work. It takes years to save such kind of money and being able to lose it in one night is devastating. We need to be more careful with our money and engage in risk management to protect us from going bankrupt. A gambling addiction makes everything worse because we lose control of our spending habits. But still if we are ever at risk to lose those kind of sums we should pull the plug and take a break.
3257  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do You Want Tesla To Accept Doge? on: May 20, 2021, 07:59:18 AM
Elon Musk has made new tweet about Doge again as always. It has been seen for some time now that Elon Musk is benefiting himself by increasing the price of Doge through new tweets. He tweeted asking if Dogecoin will be used to buy Tesla. But after his tweet, Doge price is going down, which means people are understanding his purpose. You can see his tweet from here: https://twitter.com/elonmusk/status/1392030108274159619?s=19

I don't really care that much about Tesla anymore to be honest. Up until last month my goal was to buy a new Tesla one day, I really wanted my next care to be a nice Tesla. But now after Elon Musk killed Bitcoins I am not sure anymore. I will probably make a big circle around any Tesla cars and consider to buy another brand or even a hybrid car instead of a pure electric car. I am holding a little Doge coin still but this will never be enough for buying a Tesla. And if Musk will say that Tesla is going to accept Doge than it might just be a lie in a way to try and promote Doge.
3258  Other / Off-topic / Re: This is Why You fail at Everything on: May 20, 2021, 07:51:54 AM
Just You Don't have motivation.
You need to Get motivated your brain Can make hundred times better decisions and calculations If You are motivated enough

And best motivation is Money!
That's Why best is to make few big trades rather small trades.

Your brain function better If you are motivated...  Like You Don't Know but our brain calculate Everything... Mostly If we need to do Something our brain calculates the return If the profit is not that big our brain is More lazy.

This is the biggest reason why People who Get low wage at Job are not doing their Job properly or it takes longer time to learn the job.

Learn how your brain works Before You gona use Even your brain*

I agree with you, motivation is everything. We need to have a goal in life and work towards it. Without such kind of motivation we will just remain the same. And life is all about evolving and moving on, standing still is like going backwards in todays world. I heard that the best way to motivate ourselves is to visualise our dreams. If we have a fixed image of our goals in our head, than it is much easier to work towards it. It all comes down to using our brain for positive things.
3259  Economy / Speculation / Re: Too late? on: May 20, 2021, 07:42:55 AM
Question for the experts here....

Is it too late to jump on the bitcoin-trend? Im considering investing in miners and potentially buying 1 or 2 bitcoins.
Or should I instead look for cheaper alternatives with similar potential?  Huh Huh Huh

Especially considering it has plummeted after regulators in China announced a clampdown on crypto.

Bitcoin dropped almost 50% from it's ATH around 65,000 USD. If you are looking to buy bitcoins then I would keep an close an eye on the market right now. There might be alt coins that are cheaper to buy, but the long term outlook should be much more positive. The thing with China is that they want to ban cryptos so they can promote their own digital Yuan. If this is going to be happen we can't tell yet. Just because China wants us to buy their digital Yuan, doesn't mean investors are going to do so. In my opinion there is no way around Bitcoins in the long run. I am considering buying some more too.
3260  Economy / Economics / Re: The Downfall of TSLA on: May 20, 2021, 07:32:44 AM
The fact TSLA is valued more then all the auto manufactures combined is absurd. You're naive to think big auto is just going to sit on the sidelines. Big auto has the infrastructure and production lines to mass produce fully electric vehicles for a fraction of the cost of a TSLA, something TSLA will never be able do. Ford is already leading the charge with the F-150 Lightning and converting old factories into fully electric vehicle production plants. TSLA is just as overhyped as Elon Musk.

I agree with you, the value of Tesla is too high in my opinion. The whole hype is based around Elon Musk and after the last few weeks I think we all realised that he can't be trusted anymore.  How can you change your mind about bitcoins so quickly? The argument that the mining process is bad for the environment is false, all currencies cost money to create and support, it is not only Bitcoins. So by misusing his Twitter account he stopped whole crypto hype with a few tweets. We all should stop believing in Elon Musk.
