3261  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is there any altcoin to be millionere by holding up to 5 years from now ? on: April 19, 2022, 07:24:26 PM
Ok got it thanks but many people are investing in shitcoin/memecoin is that the correct descision ?
I wouldn't say it isn't a correct decision if they get a huge profit from it.  Probably these people are into short-term investments where they can get higher profit from these kinds of altcoin.  This kind of investment is very risky but if you timed it right, You can get 1000x+ profit in a very short timer or you end up bag holding worthless token if you messed up on the timing.
The reason why they are making those short term investments is to basically "let's scam the scammer" mindset and nothing more.

I have a lot of friends who get into those type of little memecoin stuff on release day, even pre-sale periods happens earlier, so that means they get in as quickly as possible and as soon as it is released and goes up they sell and get out, which usually makes them a decent return, after they take out their investment and some profit, they leave the rest in there, sometimes it goes to zero, sometimes it stays, sometimes it goes up. But, they never trust their investment, they never think it is a good investment, they just want to make a profit and leave.
3262  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's preventing bitcoin from worldwide adoption? on: April 19, 2022, 03:52:41 PM
I disagree with the fourth and the fifth points that you made. Talking about the fourth point you made which is – lack of awareness, a lot of effort has already been put into creating awareness for Bitcoin and I don’t think that’s a problem to the adoption of Bitcoin currently. Anyone who is not choosing to invest in Bitcoin is not because of awareness.

There are steady adverts about Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies online on social medias and the internet as a whole. Bitcoin trended on Google several times as the list searched word, you would also see movies about Bitcoin and where it’s being mentioned, and you likely would come across people talking about it. So don’t say there are no awareness, there is, just that people don’t want to adopt, maybe due to other factors. And also know that bitcoin is not meant for everyone.

Lastly, as for information hoarding, there are already lots of articles that properly explains whatever information you need, which is why you shouldn’t rely on one source, always get information from different sources to be hundred percent certain.
3263  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will cryptocurrencies eliminate the need for credit/debit cards in the future? on: April 19, 2022, 01:47:00 PM
100% guaranteed. I keep saying that crypto is not against fiat, it is against banking and people need to realize this. I mean you may think that crypto vs fiat is a war that is fought for the past 10 years, but they are just alternatives to each other. Imagine how we have survived so long with Europe having euro now (individual ones before this) and USA has dollars, china has Yuan, Russia has ruble and many many other fiat, we just added one more to that and nothing more and it shouldn't bother fiat at all.

However, we are improving the banking system of it so well that after the DeFi hype last year, I am 100% sure that we are going to do very well in the future for sure and eliminate the need for credit cards.
This is the right approach. Plus, if we were fighting against fiat so much, we wouldn't be building stablecoins and so forth that are mimicking these fiat currencies people think we hate. The reality is the banking and DeFi did allow us to get closer.

When people realize this, when people could see that crypto is an alternative to banking and not an alternative to fiat, we will get better. Obviously crypto is a currency and not a payment method, but while being a currency, it brings its own benefits like wallets, payment methods, security and many other things these days along with it, even interest earning as well in staking form. So, it is definitely capable of doing cards as well.
3264  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why no simple service for HODLing Bitcoin? on: April 18, 2022, 10:52:22 PM
Is it really that much of a big deal? I mean do you really have no self control over when you will be selling and when you will be holding?
In the same way some just can't get away from gambling, some just can't HODL.
Even more, especially when the price is going down, many are getting scared and sell.

So use cases for this do exist, even though, as I already said, it can be risky for when one really-really needs that money.
Still, as long as Bitcoin itself has tools for this, using something external makes not much sense.
Shouldn't those people need to learn a way to hold, instead of trying to wait to keep them from having that option? I mean there could be some serious reasons why they should sell. Like let's say there is a health issue, you have to be in hospital and pay a good sum of money to survive, shouldn't it be better if you could reach your money that way? Or there is a debt that you can't pay, I should know because I am in one right now lol) and then you will need to cash out.

Like for example, I have some saved aside, but by the looks of it I will be forced to sell my coins (some of them not all) just to pay my debt. Learning how to hold should be more important than preventing from cashing out.
3265  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ADA had a potential like Ethereum on: April 18, 2022, 01:45:36 PM
If ADA had been a successful project like ETH, it would have been as popular a long time ago. Right now it is just a hype project. It might as well call XLM a promising blockchain like ETH. It seems to me that DOT or ATOM will be more successful in the future than ADA. Just because the project has risen in value doesn't mean anything.
Unfortunately people can't accept the disappointment that easily. Imagine like if you have a kid and that kid is not doing well in school, you keep creating excuses for them and keep saying that it is their bad friends, or the things that take away from the attention and that kind of stuff, but we never say that our kid is lazy and it is simple as that.

ADA owners and investors are like that, they keep seeing it like that and they keep saying things like it is never ADA problem and it is market problem or it is about investors not being patient enough and so forth and it is never the problem that ADA project never really had a chance to actually go up because it always had some problems that couldn't be ignored.
3266  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trading question on: April 17, 2022, 06:33:45 PM
This is a cryptocurrency community so the answers you are going to get are majorly going to be in favor of crypto currency trading and of course they are right. Crypto currency trading is the best choice when it comes to trading and people make a lot of profit from trading cryptocurrency than they would when they are into forex trading.

But it is still your choice, and I also like to ask whether those of your friends who are recommending forex trading to you are into such? If they’re into such then have you asked them how much they are making from forex trading? And how good are they, how are they managing their capital and losses?

These are questions that you would have to ask them to also get their own opinion and know why they are recommending such to you. And also get to know how many of them have tried cryptocurrency trading.

If they haven’t traded cryptocurrency, then they have no right to say that forex is better than crypto currency when they haven’t had a taste of the two. You only say that one is better than the other when you have tried both and you are sure of what you are saying.
3267  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin mentioned on a ongoing Netflix series Queen of the south on: April 17, 2022, 03:11:03 PM
It doesn't matter if one show uses bitcoin as a word, this doesn't improve our price, you know what would? If netflix said that they would start using bitcoin to accept subscriptions. If you could buy your monthly subscription with bitcoin then you would be doing alright. Obviously not everyone does that, and obviously netflix will not start doing it but the day they do, the day payment with bitcoin is accepted in the biggest places, biggest companies, google, amazon, steam, whatever, then we are going to see bitcoin go up.

It is a currency that is not accepted in the largest companies of the world, that is not acceptable and we have such a huge potential if they start to accept.
3268  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [DEBATE] Are meme coins ruining cryptocurrencies? on: April 17, 2022, 02:09:31 PM
Its like saying are NFT's helping prospering the crypto currency market or whether NFT is ruining the crypto space? You get my point here? Meme are meme's with their specific portfolio such as low value, diluted market, unlimited supply, just there to joke on social network and use their funny pics. The value rises based on pump and dump volume rather than its use case. So it's either flourishing in its own universe or downgrading itself. But as whole crypto remains unhampered with it.
It is not the same thing really, when you are using NFT, you could use it differently, or you could simply do an "art" scam thing that is understandable and you can't say NFT is bad by default, or you could have some other thing that you could discuss if it is good or bad and there will be some who use it good, and some who use it bad.

But, memecoin as a concept is bad, there is no scenario where a memecoin could be something decent, they may not be a scam, like doge is not a scam, I get that but you do not have to be a scam to ruin crypto. You could be just a meme that ruins peoples financials because they are focusing on "fun" part when money is not to be joked about.
3269  Economy / Economics / Re: Elon Musk makes offer to buy Twitter on: April 17, 2022, 05:49:24 AM
It it laughable the way the woke folks at Twitter are trying to avoid the inevitable sale to Elon. They have now come up with the "Poision Pill" option. Is this even legal? I don't think that they will be able to defend this in the court. Dilution of shareholding just to target one of the investors is extremely unfair, and these guys are just lucky that the SEC is under the control of the Biden administration. Things may change after the mid-term elections though. Going by the early trends, Dems stand to lose even blue states such as Michigan, Minnesota, Colorado and Maine.
One is a situation where a bomb was dropped into a ship and killed dozens of soldiers and created hundreds of people who got affected and even the main reason for the atomic bomb to happen as well resulting with whole cities being destroyed and Trump is talking about how it is similar to him not being able to tweet anymore.

I can't really stress this enough, it is not that bad that Biden became president, he is not great, he is not awesome, but to realize the fact Trump shouldn't have been a president to begin with not because of political reasons, not because of his decisions, but because he is unpresidential and he is a cry baby and nothing more. Glad I am not American.
3270  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Short term investment suggestion on: April 16, 2022, 02:16:05 PM
I think short term investment is only suitable for new coins, short term investment or less than a year if we invest in new coins then the opportunity for big profits is very good, do DYOR deeply and start buying new listed coins or better invest in ICO/ IEO, hold for at least a year and I'm sure we can get a big profit.
This is true. If you are investing into something that has been around for a year for example, it will not suddenly do like a 10x return in a month, that is not possible. It probably already priced in and whatever the market movements are, that is what it will do most likely or there is a small chance that it may do a lot better too but not that much better.

This is why I never really go for the short term investments because all of them are a lie to me, there could be some that could be true but that is one in a million chance so why would I end up risking my money for something such a small chance that could happen? I just go for long term instead.
3271  Economy / Gambling / Re: Watching Our Kids From Something That Could Dangerous To Them on: April 16, 2022, 01:16:07 PM
As parents, keeping them under tight control can be both beneficial and harmful. Of course, it is impossible to keep them 7/24 under control. Neither they nor we are robots. That's why they needs our guidance to keep forwarding on right path. If we give them the right clue, they can come to the right conclusion by themselves.
But we have to. Nowadays, we have to be twice or even thrice careful with what our kids do cause Internet is both a place where you can learn something or a place where danger accompanies you all you way you browse. My kids, one 10+ and others below 10, they are under my total internet control and I don't think I will let them use any social media until they are 18. Giving them the right clue is a good idea, but what I think is that they may be influenced by somebody else and you will not even know that.
If you try to restrict your kids in anyway, which we will out of instinct because we know the results of their actions and the consequences will be bad so we want to protect them and no matter how much we try to let them be we try to stop them time to time, but we need to realize that sometimes they have to do something and see the consequences and realize their own mistakes as well.

Obviously if it is a horrible thing like if they do it, they will go to jail type of thing, or can never go to school type of thing then we could intervene if we can, but aside from them let them gamble and lose all their money and let them learn from their own mistakes.
3272  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as a medium for donations on: April 16, 2022, 12:53:59 PM
It is seriously mind blowing how the whole world can get together and help each other out. Obviously there are a lot more other nations that could have used help but couldn't get the media attention or the pity, like how we all know Africa is doing badly in many nations or how Venezuela was doing badly, but there wasn't bombs raining by Russia there so we didn't care.

I am not sure if it's love for Ukraine or hatred for Russia that caused it, but at the very end I am happy that it's growing. All the other charities that accept bitcoin and helps people are doing a great work, if you are donating with bitcoin from the other side of the world, that shows your humanity and your love, you are a great person.
3273  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Microstrategy shareholders letters that more bitcoin would still be bought on: April 16, 2022, 07:12:51 AM
I think they have a long term goal that's why they continue to acquire and accumulate bitcoin through the years. It might be different for average Joe like us who are in a budget. But we will continue to do and try to buy it at every dip or even DCA'ing.

Maybe there are also other companies who secretly buying bitcoin in bulk, or if not a company a entity, a whale who understand how bitcoin can make them more money in the future.
They do not have a "strategy" really, they just think that long term results of crypto would be a lot better than buying any stock and that is not a bad idea at all. If you look at the long term results of crypto, you could see that it is great and they are not like buying shiba or something, they are buying bitcoin and that is good enough if you ask me.

I wouldn't assume that they know what they are doing, maybe they could be wrong, any company could be wrong but since I agree with them and do the similar things for myself, I believe they are on the right path. That is all I can imagine right now of course, not really something I can guarantee.
3274  Economy / Economics / Re: Inflation and investment on: April 16, 2022, 06:41:30 AM
For now I am still quite comfortable with the percentage of my ability to invest around 10%-20% every month of my total income, but when the crisis and inflation continue without knowing when it will improve then personally that percentage will decrease gradually.

Additional income, maybe that's a solution that can help but yeah that's the problem. The signature campaign might help for a while, but we can't expect it to last long as it will definitely stop at any time. Obviously we need additional income.
That's the difficult part. World economy is going to shit these days and while I can still do some investments, I am incapable of doing it easily, and it is pushing my limits. For example, I did some investments for this month, put 10% of my income into investment, but I also have debt that I need to pay, I assumed I would be able to pay it, and live with the 90% of my salary, but looks like it is going to be a challenge.

If I use that amount to pay my debt, then I would be comfortably closing up my debt and living a much better life, but if I do not do that, then it is going to be quite a challenge for me. If this keeps up, I won't be able to save any money monthly.
3275  Economy / Economics / Re: What skills should I learn to get freelance work ..?? on: April 16, 2022, 05:14:48 AM
Interestingly web dev is still something that could be earning a decent money. Now I know that it is easier than back in the day and I know that it is not really sought out like crazy, the demand for web dev is not high, but do you know why it could still make some cash? Simply because most proper devs move way above web dev, they look for better software related jobs, they don't just build you a wordpress website, why would a guy who could earn 5k easily building a great system, work for you to make 100 bucks worth of website?

So, if you perfect that craft, there is a limited amount of request compared to other developers, but you could at the very least be top of something small. Build a portfolio of many websites, and you could get that little amount of demand and make a good return. The world is filled with people who will always want a new website.
3276  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: About Ethereum merge on: April 15, 2022, 09:46:53 PM
that could be a disaster for ethereum. IMO if the implementation of POS merge already passed so many test by various developers in the ethereum foundation but we didn't know whether there will be another new vulnerability that is still remain active or not. I meant a new code will need a very long time to search the vulnerability and when ethereum will be migrating into the POS and this will be a very big decision to take a look whether the code has no vulnerability or not. If there will be a vulnerability in the new code and when this got exploited and this will become a disaster for anyone and crypto market.
If there is one, or there will be one, then we are going to have someone fix it quickly, so by that time the problem will be how much of an impact it will have. If it is found out after a few million dollars worth of an attack then we are going to be fine, that could be recovered from and it is not a big deal.

However, if it is figured out after someone completely destroys everything and gets billions of dollars worth, since we can't really retract it and just go back, it will hurt everyone and would damage ethereum forever. This is why it is taking so long, you think it is this difficult for eth foundation to build something? They probably did it like a million times already, but they are making sure.
3277  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin continue to have the same effect on alts? on: April 15, 2022, 09:14:08 PM
Altcoins have existed since bitcoin came in, they have been a collective against a one man army of bitcoin. The reason why altcoins rose to a significant portion of the market share is a difference in public opinion and use cases. This is the example of democracy in the crypto sector, everyone is free to choose what they use.

Since majority of altcoins are bought and sold with bitcoin, it tends to influence the price. Trading them against fiat is still not that convenient, although attempts have been made to incorporate the same into merchants. So in my opinion, unless a new coin becomes something even more useful than what bitcoin has been, it will continue to have an effect on altcoin prices.
I remember the early days when I joined crypto and there was just bitcoin and something called "namecoin" if I am not wrong, there were few others too but they were nothing, the only one that mattered was namecoin, then ltc became a big thing, then eth did, and xrp did alright all throughout those periods as well. It is just a weird thing that people think altcoins are a new thing.

Sure, bitcoin had like 70%+ dominance at one point so if you think that you are going to get that again, you are not, even 50% is a hard thing nowadays, but at the very least we know that bitcoin is still the biggest and will stay like that for sure, while altcoins will just keep on changing places.
3278  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BITCOIN NOW A LEGAL TENDER IN SPECIAL ECONOMIC ZONE OF HONDURAS. on: April 15, 2022, 06:49:58 PM
Honduras has a population of over 9 million in 2020 according to the site I checked, that is not really a small population, although it is still small compared to many other countries. But what can be said that the population is small is because only an island called Próspera make bitcoin a legal tender, not the whole of Honduras. But what I noticed was that even when El Salvador accepted bitcoin as a legal, the price of bitcoin did not increase, probably because the El Salvadoran population is around 7 million people and not a country of focus like United States of America or China. Also I have noticed more price increase when whales and institutional whales are buying bitcoin than news partaining to said to be small countries bitcoin adoption.
I would guess that just one island of Honduras making bitcoin legal tender shouldn't have impacted bitcoin all that much anyway. Why did you assume that bitcoin should have been higher just because it is a legal tender. I mean if all of Honduras did, then maybe we could have talked about something else, but this isn't like that, this is just a situation where one part of Honduras did and that would not have too much of  an impact today.

Maybe in the long term we would see companies moving there for the ease of being a crypto company there, like how they are using Malta right now for example, and used other places like Bahamas, but that is a long term thing and wouldn't change it overnight.
3279  Economy / Economics / Re: Economy debt now and current situation on: April 15, 2022, 03:45:38 PM
If I say I understand what you are trying to say, it is a lie. I don't understand any paragraph of your thread upon all this trash you produce here. You are still asking for merit. The only thing I can tried to understand is debt, printing of Money and borrowing.
By the way. Most of the Countries in the world are indebted by IMF and World Bank for their ( the two institutions) own interest. Talking of printing of money. In a war period, Countries can print more to curl the war, at that period the money that is spend is not accounted for anything because they are lot  of things to solve in the midst of the war. As for the borrowing. Mostly the third world nations are configured to depend on the already developed nations to survive. So they are forcefully to borrow to survive.
He is just a troll, click on the ignore button and do not see his messages is the only way. There is this dude in the world who keeps on starting new accounts whenever e gets negative trust or spam marked and then he starts a new account and he continues to do this. I am sure he had at least 4 accounts so far, probably even more that I couldn't figure out for sure.

At the end of the day, he is just a spammer who writes low quality posts and he usually just starts topics and leaves, he doesn't even respond to his own topics all that much, his only aim is to create low quality topics and leave, which is something I do not get why he does that, but you could simply ignore him.
3280  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: No condition is permanent in crypto on: April 15, 2022, 02:31:29 PM
The volatility is permanent in the crypto and this is the right thing for sure. It seems like there are still people who think bull and bear will remain forever. I have the same though in the past if the bull or bear will go for long term but my opinion was incorrect and the trend in the crypto is changing so fast. So many smart traders can take the advantage from the existence of volatility. making big profit become possible during the big bullish trend or big dump. As long as we are smart enough to see the condition in the market and we will get more benefit from the market.
No price movement will go on forever, it is not sustainable, people will take profit when the price goes up a lot, and people will buy a lot when it goes down enough. This causes the situation to become a bit easier to handle. I am not saying that we shouldn't be focusing on making zero money or something like that, of course you could make money from the volatility, just do not be afraid of it.

There are too many people who see the volatility and think that they can't make money or it will crash, or its too scary. If you learn to live with it, then you could be earning so much more from crypto and you will be earning a decent income even with the ups and downs.
