2301  Economy / Economics / Re: Do your work. on: November 13, 2022, 09:11:03 AM
keep in mind we have different  circumstances or situations in our lives. Some people in my country have already a family at an early age which deprives them from making selfish and risky decisions. Reponsibility slows down an individual from unleashing his/her potential but that responsibility as well pushes him/her to continue whenever one is exhausted so it is not actually a real thing. I'm not saying that once you have a family, that's the end already. No. You will just be limited in resources in some instances, so if you really want to do something, you'd really invest more time to get it without disregarding your responsibilities.

And for those who has privilege and those who are still young, be mindful. Be mindful of your potential and maximize it as long as you have the time still, 'coz as you grow older opportunities would be smaller and harder to reach.
That is exactly my life. I am married and that means I can2t just quit my job and take a risk. Technically speaking I could, and I did, because I already had a good side-income from another freelance job and eventually the income from that grew enough to quit my job. But that shows that I waited until my side income became bigger than my salary, and didn't quite beforehand.

So, if you have responsibilities to other people, you wouldn't want to risk it, because risking it means you will be providing them with something terrible economically if you fail and anyone who is married wouldn't want their spouse to have a horrible life just because of their own ambitions.
2302  Economy / Economics / Re: Best Recession And Inflation Protected Assets on: November 12, 2022, 03:58:03 PM
Your analysis may be correct to a large extent. But the world is interconnected and economic challenges in other nations affect others. Most locally produced goods depend heavily on imported raw materials and this also affects the price. I was very surprised when our local bread supplier told us in the town hall meeting that his bakery depends on wheat from Ukraine. Hence, the increase in bread prices was due to the instability in that country. Sometimes these locally made products are even more expensive than imported ones because some nations have competitive advantage than local producers.

When the recession is triggered mainly by the price of key raw materials like gas or crude it is always difficult to predict the best place to invest because this raw material is needed in almost all sectors of the economy. It affects the cost of powerr and transportation which determines the cost of almost everything.
It is sad because the price shouldn't be impacted from outside resources if there is instability. I understand Ukrainian wheat if all is well, they could produce it cheaper than your nation normally, but when things go wrong, your own local wheat farmers should be able to cover it, maybe with just a little difference but not something huge. If they can't, that means you do not have enough wheat farmers and that’s a big problem.

All these items that go up so much during the inflation period showed that they were not made properly in a protected situation, they all depended on something and that’s a big problem that needs to be solved eventually, and this inflation period should be a lesson.
2303  Economy / Economics / Re: How much longer until paper money is no longer in circulation? on: November 12, 2022, 02:29:22 PM
For me I think it's far any longer because the one thing everyone should know about human is that humans always Find an alternative to change things around them and as well adapt to those changes so far as those changes will yield positive results
Changes in the environment are something that is always bound to happen, but for a change with the issue of paper money to digital money it obviously takes a long time to change because each country needs to make regulations and financial systems that are more different than usual even though it is to goals that are more beautiful, easier and also more advanced in a positive direction.
I think nations like USA didn't have any problems to regulate it, so was UK and Germany, because they trust their own currency and know that they are going to be fine. Sure dollar, euro, sterling all dropped in value, that is not a secret and it is true but even with that in mind there isn't really that many other currencies in the world which are as valuable as these three, can you name a fourth one that you would like to have instead?

I wouldn't want Ruble or Yuan, which are the closest to them, and all others are lower by far. So all in all, the nations with strong currencies, or to be more precise the currencies with no problems, ended up with regulations instead of banning it, and nations with high inflation and low valued currency ended up with bans right away.
2304  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 5 Bear Market Mistakes to Avoid on: November 12, 2022, 02:15:11 AM
This bear market really tests the patience of all of us, so we should try to use this bear market for our good. And if we can see an opportunity to add more, we should do so but don't immediately buy in bulk because the chance for the price to drop is still there. So you better buy gradually so that if the price drops again, you still have money to buy it again. And buying the top coins will allow you to earn bigger profits, while the other coins may not go any higher.
I do understand that not many people could survive this period and that is unfortunate but common. I am not saying that not everyone should survive, I hope everyone would but the reality is that many people will sell and fear the drop and will lose money when it goes down. Plenty of people bought at 21k because they thought it would go up, and then sold at 16k because they thought it would go down, instead of doing vice versa.

What matters is we should not do that and if you are wise enough not to do that then it would work out for you. I personally don't really care about the ups and downs because it’s a temporary thing, so I can hold for many years without care.
2305  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can someone teach me where have High Return Invest Program on: November 11, 2022, 07:18:51 PM
There are some bank products that I've seen that they call their "highest" profitable product which come close to 3%-5% annual profit per year and tax is not yet included.
@OP, we're basically talking about the reality of the investments that we may fall wrongly and you're not doing the right thing. Don't take it hardly when we're giving you an idea how these HYIPs are just gonna suck your money and you'll be left with nothing.
People who are looking for a quick way to make money are usually the people who lose the most money. People like OP who are looking to find the highest return, do not realize that the surest way to make money, the way rich people use their money, is the way to get rich.

Yes, you can't get rich that way and live a luxury life in a few years by spending 100 bucks on it, but it is the sure way. Invest 100 bucks per month every month for the next 40 years into just bitcoin, and then when you retire you will have so much money that you would be able to buy your own island. That type of wealth is possible, but it requires hard work and dedication, not greed.
2306  Economy / Economics / Re: Can our work be turned into a full-time investment? on: November 11, 2022, 06:44:35 PM
I would suggest people to have some backup earning method in place even after having a full day job. The current situation of the economy many people may face joblessness where in the backup ends up being a lifesaver.

Cryptocurrency investment is an investment in the first place and so cannot be considered as a backup but a side hustle at the most. I am sure the OP is not one of the bigger pro traders out there, otherwise they would not be asking this question.

Therefore the chance of losing money is very high if done in the wrong manner. Better to look for more "physical" jobs than bitcoin investment.
That’s not possible for everyone unfortunately. I am earning very good amount of money from my salary, I am very happy about it and I do not "need" extra money, of course just like everyone in the world I wouldn't say no to extra money, but wanting and needing it are different things and I do not "need" any right now.

However, even if I needed it, if my job didn't pay this well, then I wouldn't be able to earn more from anywhere else because I do not have any time left, between life and work, I have no time left to work another job, or do anything extra. I do have some ideas that I want to turn into reality, but unfortunately, I cannot do that for now because I lack the time for it.
2307  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CZ dumping FTT on: November 11, 2022, 02:54:22 PM
I mean that he would have known it creates fud and how it plays out after that as there was fud happening already, even from Bitboy from all the people Cheesy.
Maybe i am overestimating how smart CZ is but surely he knows that one wrong tweet from him can destroy a token?
And when he mentions selling his ftt bag and that he learned from luna at same sentence. If that wouldn't do it, nothing would.

What it comes to Commodity Futures Trading Commission, they are mostly interested on authorization of FTX US Derivatives after their liquidity problems, not legality of this takeover.
He was fully aware of what he was doing, he was basically taking revenge. According to CZ there was a period where FTX ended up "attacking" binance, and he saw that as treason because he was the first one to invest into it (well binance was but cz=binance in my mind).

This means he was expecting loyalty and instead he got attacked from them and this made him a bit angry and at the very least dislike FTX. Right now, he found a chance that he could just sell all of his FTT and take a small hit but he could destroy another website. This is why I believe he did it, otherwise he could have sold it for 22 dollars each, and he didn't and made a loss, all because he wanted to destroy FTX and nothing else.
2308  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who Will buy Binance? 🤔 on: November 11, 2022, 01:49:09 PM
Elon is the first one that I have thought of. But if this is going to be the new trend in the competition of exchange then I'd be scared to see a monopoly on it.
Since CZ started it out, it's possible that the other bigger enterprises and exchanges would do the same thing in terms of business availability and expansion.
Why shouldn't it be like the other tech companies? Look at google, facebook, amazon and all others they keep on buying smaller and smaller companies to grow their own company. I wouldn't be shocked to see crypto companies start doing that as well, if you are an exchange then you could end up buying out smaller and smaller exchanges to grow your company and keep on being higher and higher.

Plus, this works out better for them too because it means they could end up with more people putting their money into wallets there too. So, I would be lying if I say that this is the last time I am expecting such a thing, there is a high chance something like this will happen again.
2309  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: November 11, 2022, 08:18:52 AM
My expectation was much about India but they failed. No one knew that India would take the match so hard. What is the situation is that India has to play conservative policy. Where England won the entire match without losing any wicket. It wasn't a franchise match that had a slow early run but could be covered later on. There was no sense of victory among the cricketers with the intent to win. Anyway, the upcoming final may be a good competitive match.
India lost match while they were batting because their start was not good and their batsmen completely fail to do runs in early ten overs which give them around 50 lesser runs from their target, and they have badly gone down while they are defending this total 169 on batting track with English openers play fearless batting which bring more pressure on Indian team, and they were unable to handle this all now things are changing quickly in cricketing world, so all teams need to bring changes in their way of play if they want to win trophies here in Indian case IPL is role model which is surely hurting them instead of bringing better results.

Hopefully this defeat will bring positive changes in coming days for Team India, and they will perform better specially in ODI world cup which is going to play in India in 2023.
2310  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is "Solana" Will be the Next to get Killed.. on: November 10, 2022, 09:40:21 PM
It is very likely to happen and now the price has started to show that after the news of the collaboration with google cloud which has a positive impact now that the SBF drama is quite damaging the positive impact of the good news a few days.
There is a theory that Alameda Research might sell Solana for fresh funds https://www.coindesk.com/markets/2022/11/07/solana-falls-and-speculation-centers-on-links-to-sam-bankman-frieds-ftx-alameda/
and the speculation is enough to create panic and retailers should be to sell SOL and exit this market as soon as possible.
This should be a warning to altcoin holders that none of these altcoins are safe they are interrelated, bad news on other coins will affect anothers and it must always be remembered that retail is the one who suffers the most.
Considering we are already in a horrible bear market, anything that could be understood as a risky bad move or at least some reason to drop the price, people will scatter around and sell whatever they can sell.

I know that it is not going to be easy to justify some sale because they need fresh funds, because everyone needs funds right now, wait until the bull run starts, and both crypto and SOL could go up for a while before you can sell. If they need funds they need to just wait for it just like everyone else. If they end up unloading on the investors right now, when all looks bad then it will definitely cause a lot of trouble and the price may crash even harder than the market.
2311  Economy / Economics / Re: How much longer until paper money is no longer in circulation? on: November 10, 2022, 08:36:41 PM
Paper money will not disappear, although digital currency is very convenient, but you know that there are still many disabled people in the world (eyes, arms, hands, legs) who cannot use smartphones independently, and there are many places that do not have Internet, and they do not have Smartphones, they have no concept of digital currency, they think paper money is in their hands, which can give them a sense of security.
Paper money is already not that much in circulation to be honest. I always preferred cash over having any money in the banks, I dislike banks and using a digital one at that too, so I am trying to avoid banking world as much as I could but of course there many periods where I would have to use it, because any other way would be just too much overwork just to avoid it.

However, not many people think like that, and most of the money in the world is digital, not in the hands of the people which allows banks to continue. It is a century old known fact that if you tried to withdraw all of the money in the banks, then banks would collapse and not be able to pay, which shows how they are bankrupt to begin with.
2312  Economy / Economics / Re: Fiat in trouble on: November 10, 2022, 07:15:21 PM
what is beyond our authority is the government's policy on the legalization of cryptocurrencies. the most difficult thing to penetrate is about the necessary politicization of interests. I personally believe that cryptocurrencies will be worthy of replacing fiat currencies, but not in a short time, given that there are still many pros and cons regarding this, and it actually hinders its development
I do not think that it will "replace" fiat, fiat is something that each nation needs for their own freedom, if they all start to use bitcoin then the bigger ones could take control over the smaller ones. Right now, even if it means a financial war, you can go against USA, which will hurt you like how it did to Cuba for example, but you can have freedom. In that case everyone would be using the same, and that is not going to be fine.

Alternative payment method to fiat is the way to go. The best thing that could happen would be like El Salvador, just get it legal tender in all the nations of the world, which means alternative to fiat, and that would be fine and would actually make crypto go insanely high too.
2313  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: It’s time people just fully accept 90% of the NFT space is a rug/slow rug on: November 10, 2022, 05:54:32 PM
Most of the projects in the NFT space are rug and what founders are doing is just coming up with shit art and fake promises with zero utility so what else do you expect from them? Will they be providing returns to you at all? The actual profits is to the founder of the project and not to return any money to the holders of the NFT so stay away from them but there are some legit projects as well which are slow growth and team behind them is building something but you need to check them up.
Unfortunately, it is still a profitable thing to do that and that’s the problem. I mean if it wasn't profitable then it would have stopped already but people are buying NFT's even to this day.

Just the other day I have seen an NFT with absolutely no utility at all, and only did marketing with airdrops, got like 500+ NFT's sold from 50 bucks each, that’s a ton of money to be made by the founders and they spent absolutely no money on it neither, so it’s definitely not a smart idea to invest into these to make the founders richer, and yet people still do. If we do not stop putting our money in the horrible things that we have in the NFT world, they will keep on doing it.
2314  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is the bear market over? on: November 10, 2022, 04:18:03 PM
Well no I do not believe that the 'bear market' is over.  I do think that bear markets are a great time to invest in Bitcoin.
If you’re entering the market when everything is down you have a much higher possibility to get significant returns on your investments. If you happen to have extra fiat laying around then you’re in an opportune position to make money.
I couldn’t think of a better time buying Bitcoin then when it’s low but be prepared to hold long. The Ukraine war and the brewing economic recession could take a while to blow over.
I think it is not really a bear market but accumulation phase, we should change the name of these periods. I always supported saying bear market when it goes down, but when it is already low and not going down anymore, we should rename that period to "accumulation phase" because right now it would be smart to keep on buying more and more and more bitcoins. That’s not a risky thing to do neither, it’s definitely something that would make sense in the long run.

However, since we call it "bear market" at all times, people are having harder time to keep on investing in it, and that’s not going to be that much of an easy thing to invest if we keep scaring people with bear, that’s why renaming would be better.
2315  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Litecoin a forgotten cryptocurrency? on: November 09, 2022, 02:53:22 PM
I was a supporter of Litecoin before. Well, it was a long time ago when the competition was not that high yet. It was a good investment and I made good profits out of it.
But lots of cryptocurrencies came out and most of them have created good projects so I switched the funds to another.
Will it die? I don't think so. The value will possibly go lower but I doubt about death although it is being forgotten. Despite that, it's still in good position which will never be achieved by other cryptocurrencies entering the new market.
That’s the point, if it doesn't die then it survives and I am doing fine with long term holding it as well. It means, anything that doesn't die even after 10 years in the crypto world is something that is good I believe. Litecoin has been around for over 11 years, and that’s something shocking considering even bitcoin has been around for just 13 or so years.

It means that Litecoin surviving this long means that it is doing fine so far and there is absolutely no reason why it shouldn't do fine in the future. I always believe that long term results of a coin matters more than what it has done in the last year alone, because it shows a good proof of the future.
2316  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Get Bitcoin Holdings for your child from infant. on: November 09, 2022, 08:44:03 AM
Someone that's always selling after their is little increase in bitcoin price, can the person hold for their children? I think if you can't hold for yourself, then you cant hold for your kids, I believe if their is little pump in bitcoin price then the person will still definitely sell and will want to wait for buy back when the price reduce again.
Not really, if it's your money, you can spend it comfortably, without thinking, but if it's your children's money, you will have to think a lot to make a decision. I have a baby and you know, birthday money or money that my wife and I save for her and we almost never touch it no matter how much we need the money, as we think doing so will form a bad habit and we cannot guarantee that we will be able to refund our child. I would rather borrow money than never use the money I gave my son, remember that is his future, he needs that money as much as we do.
I agree that you shouldn't spend your child’s money. I remember as a kid my family had a lot of troubled periods in our life, and it was understandable that they had to use what I saved aside, and I am not angry about it because they had to raise me somehow and there was a lot of money problems at the same time. But that did left me with the idea that "what’s the point of saving, it will all be gone one day when everything goes bad" and left a pessimistic idea in my mind.

So, I kept on spending it and not invest in anything. Even after I found out about bitcoin, I didn't save for many years, only years later I realized saving and investing into it would be a good idea.
2317  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io 🏏 Men's T20 World Cup 2022 🏏 Discussion thread on: November 09, 2022, 06:39:52 AM
Considering that before the world cup Pakistan defeated Newzealand in the final match of tri nation series in Newzealand the odds for today's match look awkward. As usual Pakistan is a unpredictable team and in the last two matches they have played exceptionally well. Newzealand have been consistent with their game throughout the tournament but have been struggling with their batting. They have the best bowlers for these kind of pitches who have the ability to change the game.

It is very hard to predict this match but I feel the odds for today's match should have been same or a slightly different for both the teams.
Odds are okay because we all know nature of Pakistan team so in this big game, anything can happen, and New Zealand is surely currently one of the best team with their all round performance in this event even they lost final at home against Pakistan still they are capable of beating them here in Sydney as we all know after Pakistan, they have one of the best bowling attack in presence of Southee, Boult and Ferguson.

Batting is also doing good job from the start of this event and Philips and Conway both in good touch with Williamson is also having good time in this event and can play good role in this match for the first title of his career in this format as they already won first WTC in England now here they may do another good job for a remarkable result.
2318  Economy / Speculation / Re: How fast will Bitcoin fall down? on: November 09, 2022, 05:40:21 AM
On Coinmarketcap, there are over 21600 altcoins, yet bitcoin increased in value as the adoption continues.
To even think there were just 750 of them in January of 2017 when I joined this forum and now that whopping gap of almost 21,000 extra in less than six years says much about this industry. It's growing and evolving. Yes, despite all the additions none has been able to match Bitcoin. I would've expected that Ethereum topped it because of its smart contract. ETH does what Bitcoin can do and has an extra in its smart contract but ETH has continued to disappoint in that direction. It has an edge but then I know some people will argue that it's because ETH is centralized while Bitcoin is decentralized.
That is mainly because making a new token became very easy. Right now there are literally ready made codes for it, you download it, you change what you want to change like the name, the logo, the supply and such, and after you are done, that’s it. That’s why there are over 20k+ right now because it’s so easy, anyone with just a it of money can make their own token, in fact I can make my own token in 10 seconds, just rename it and publish.

Making them stick and actually means something is hard, because it would require a lot of hard work but just creating them is nothing. Most of the 750 you have seen in 2017 are still in the top 2017’ATH; I assume, all the new ones aside from a few ended up being outside of those prices because they just stuck.
2319  Economy / Economics / Re: Is recession coming actually? on: November 08, 2022, 07:45:23 PM
I personally feel that for now with the weakening economic condition, regardless of whether we are ready or not, it will surely come no matter which country is certain, even for a strong country, it will definitely benefit from this.
We know that the current state of the US economy is starting to worry that they are actually a country that has a really large economy, especially with a smaller country.
It's not a matter of being ready or not but we certainly feel that way.
Currently, almost all countries are experiencing depression due to recession caused by several reasons, the power of the state cannot fully withstand the recession, the world economy is on the verge of difficulty, even the superpowers are no exception.
Recession is a frightening specter for some countries that do not have independent economic power, this can affect the running of an existing government. It can be ascertained that the impact of COVID-19 is really real, the recession is coming to the whole country.
Governments could somehow manage to put it under control if they really wanted to, but it would be a very hard pill to swallow and no government aims at making the lives of everyone better in the long run, the aim of any government is to get more votes and stay in power. That’s the problem humanity has faced for decades after decades, the governments we elect do not do what would be good for us, they do what is popular and keep them in power.

So, keeping it this way at a damaging but not crisis level gives them "some" advantage, if they did hard recession measures that would make it very hard, and then they would be ousted, and won't get re-elected, which is not what they want.
2320  Economy / Economics / Re: Majority of Americans Back New Stimulus Checks To Combat Inflation on: November 08, 2022, 06:10:30 PM
This is really hilarious. So they believe that printing out even more money will combat inflation? The funny thing about stimulus is that only a small fraction of the money actually ends up with the common people. The vast majority of it is earmarked for various unions (especially the left-leaning ones), who have an aversion to hard-work and an addiction for free money. Within the next 12 hours or so, the midterm elections will be over in the United States. Biden can do whatever he want, without worrying about any electoral setbacks.
Do you really expect Americans to understand about economy? This is the same nation that pays more for insurance than they would pay as a tax, and still not get free healthcare.

Calculate it and you would be laughing out a lot, they are paying insurance +hospital bills that amount to maybe double the cost of what the tax would be, and they are calculating the tax from the current prices instead of lowering it because it would be just one buyer (the government) so it would be even cheaper, and they yet still do not go with healthcare because "I rather pay more for myself than let others get free healthcare!!!!", it’s America, they are not really that smart. Don't expect too much from them.
