@Yatsan, maybe you can lock this thread for awhile, I don't see the essence of the thread anymore, it's more on a generic discussion that we are seeing here, we used to see figures and data when the thread was still new, not it seems gone, it's a different thread now.
3302  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The biggest 10 countries that gamble the most. on: December 09, 2020, 11:54:04 PM
I'm sure people are surprise that China is in the list.

In general, gambling is illegal in china but not in Macau, and according the article I read, majority the revenue of Casinos in Macau are coming from tourist or safe to say non Chinese people.

you can read more information on this site. https://www.casino.org/blog/gambling-laws-china/
3303  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ POLL ]: Boxing - Anthony Joshua vs Kubrat Pulev on: December 09, 2020, 11:35:44 PM
I like Pulev, but I want Anthony Joshua to win.

Who wouldn't like that gentle giant? But we all know is Joshua is far superior in the list of heavyweight, not name Fury and Wilder

Joshua will win easily in this fight easily, Pulev can't stand against the young champion, we might even see a KO in this fight, so let us consider that.
If it will also go in scorecard, Joshua might get the vote of the judges since he'll bring bigger fight if he wins, and it's a mush win for him, so those corrupt judges will certainly favor him if they exist.
.
Then finaly we will be able to watch Anthony Joshua - Tyson Fury, where I'm sure that the Gypsy King will beat the s**t out of Joshua and all belts will be united.

That's what we wanted to see, all British domestic fight, and two of the hottest heavyweight right now. But we all need to wait because all circumstance should be perfect (a) Joshua wins (b) Fury wait for the arbitration and favoring him against Wilder.

Wilder ain't stopping, he is giving Fury some problem because Fury choose not to fight him anymore.

But is it possible for Fury to fight Joshua even if the lawsuit Wilder filed has not be decided yet?
3304  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Floyd Mayweather vs. Logan Paul - February 20 on: December 09, 2020, 01:56:29 PM
So was it a exhibition match? I think we all know who the winner is and for me I didn't find this an interesting match they are just going to make some money unlike Roy Jones and Mike Tyson, both were retired legends and it's worth watching for.

Hope more boxing legends would fight another one. I am born in the year where most of these legends are retired and all I know most are Pacquaio and other Mexican and Puerto Rican boxers that take Pacquiao on to defend his title or take champions' titles. Let's think of it, just after a legendary fight of two retired legends, someone will just go back to his retirement and fight a YouTuber that has no chance of winning or even giving him sweat.

We don't know what this YouTuber would show us what he got during his fight towards the legend. One wrong actions would bring him to failure, so being overconfident could possibly make us easy going and don't take precautions seriously. Hopefully they'll able to find some good match for him, or they'll sticking on this offer just for money talks and not considering their status of career experiences.

Don't believe what you hear and see about Paul being too overconfident as that might be the opposite when in the right. No one mess up with Mayweather, if he will take you out, he can, especially that Paul is just an amateur boxer, lots of hype and in this fight he is willing to sacrifice his body just to make money, hopefully he will not be seriously injured.
3305  Economy / Speculation / Re: 2013, 2017 bubbles and 2020 bull run on: December 09, 2020, 01:28:09 PM
In 2017 bull run had happened because of ICO hype and that's why after the bull run the market remained bearish for two years. But this time it seems a bull run is going happen very soon. Current Defi hype and many major companies have invested in BTC and that could be the reason for the current bullish trend.
If you say because of the ICO, it should be ICO which has to be more profitable before bitcoin will rise. I didn't see it last bull run, what makes the market bullish is because of bitcoin hitting its ATH, remember, after the ATH was achieve, next thing that happen was altcoins pumping like crazy and it only started to dump when bitcoin dumped first.

comparing De-Fi vs ICO, I guess ICO was way bigger  because even ETH was the product of ICO.
3306  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Floyd Mayweather vs. Logan Paul - February 20 on: December 09, 2020, 12:48:25 PM
Btw Floyd should also start his youtube channel.
He should not only Mayweather but also the top boxers in the industry, boxing is losing their mass appeal because of MMA and many Youtubers are shifting to boxing, because they have a huge followers and they can make their followers follow them in the ring because of out of curiosity,
Popular boxers should take some time or hire managers to manager their Youtube channels, they can also make money from showing how they spar and their training regimen.
LOL, not because you have a lot of followers you will just go with boxing, they follow your for a reason and that doesn't mean they'll support you even if they know that you are not doing the right thing, fighting Mayweather is a big mistake if you'll think of the possibility that you'll get hurt, but if it's for money, it's not.
3307  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Floyd Mayweather vs. Logan Paul - February 20 on: December 08, 2020, 11:26:03 PM
Why, oh why is this happening? I have a feeling this youtube guy might have paid Mayweather to promote tgis fight but it won’t happen. You know what all these social media guys are like, they earn money from page hits etc. Paying Floyd would get him loads of attention etc. It will probably get cancelled I think.

If it does happen I hope Mayweather knocks him out in 30 seconds. Nobody wants to watch youtube idiots fight.

Aren't Floyd Mayweather have retired in boxing? I was curious of reading the thread because as what i have know he already files his retiration to boxing maybe a 2 - 3 years ago. Well maybe this is just a tactics of the youtube channel to attract viewers and get paid. And no doubt that their only intentions was to leave a viewers a question if it will push through or not. They just really wanted to get a profit from the viewers.

He has retired, IIRC, that was after he beat Manny Pacquiao and this fight should not add into his resume as a professional boxer because he can come back from retirement anymore, instead this is just only an exhibition fight where he will easily dominate his opponent for sure.

This is an exhibition fight more on money fight!  Grin This YT guy just wants attention and big payday and Mayweather took the bait as he is also for the money that they will generate from this fight.

Every fight means money for a fighter, they wouldn't fight for free. Mayweather to fight Paul seems seeing that he will make an easy money here, haven't seen him fight for a while already, so basically this is just to test his reflexes again.

Quote
Wondering if there are gamblers here who will buy the PPV of this fight and if bookies will also list this fight? It is obvious that Mayweather will win this exhibition fight.
Floyd claim that he brings money in his fight, that's why he named himself as "money", so we can expect that this will still generate money though not as big as what he get when he fought McGregor and Pacquiao.

3309  Economy / Gambling / Re: Casinos Withdrawal Fees Rise (!?)|| November 2020 on: December 08, 2020, 10:16:58 PM
If they do not raise their withdrawal fee together with the price increase of Bitcoin then they will not last in the business world. It is fair in my opinion, they do need to support their staffs after all and maintaining a website is no joke. It won't be a problem if you are a patron and a high roller, you will not feel the increase.
This is very wrong, even with the current state of the network where transaction fee could be high at times, there are still some sites that offers free withdrawal and yet they are still operating profitably. Some of the sites I know are sportsbet.io and Adkinsbet.com, a new one here in the forum.

this is from their terms and condition:
Quote
When processing withdrawals, a user do not have to pay any withdrawal fee. All fees for the network are covered by Adkinsbet.

i assume there are no minimum or maximum withdrawal, no matter how much you withdraw i think they will cover it. that's really a good feature about them in my opinion.
3310  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: December 08, 2020, 10:00:05 PM
The Nets are strong without Kyrie (injured) and Durant before.
Their roleplayers are still young and are in their prime.
The question here is if it will work out with the addition of Durant in the rotation and for their new head coach.
I hope it will and make the East spark once again.
Heat, Bucks, and Nets, we all want to see them clash in the playoffs to watch a great game.  Wink

There are lots of expectations with KD playing along side with his new teammates, knowing him as a scorer and most of the time holding the ball, setting up the rotation for him and Kyrie mught be a tough job for Coach Nash. It will be a question of leaderships and adjustments, respecting one another will bring them what they all desires.

Nets hypes will be tested this coming season, it's a good contender from the east side, together with the classic, Heat, Bucks, Celtics,Raptors and sixers. Very nice for all the fans watching more enjoyable and competitive games from time to time.

Talents are already their, chemistry is only what is necessary in order for this team to function at their maximum capacity.

Durant and Irving being a proven star players in the NBA has to work together, do their rule and expect one another, that way they'll be a tough team to beat. Compared to the west rosters, the East is not that good so Nets should have an easier path to be in the playoffs and even advance in the NBA Finals.
3311  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Your Life After 10 years in Bitcoin... on: December 04, 2020, 04:07:00 PM
2017's ATH has taught me a lesson of being patient and deciding with perfect timing. I was so reckless and greedy the last ATH because of the thought that the price would stay high for a long time. I missed the opportunity to sell and gain a good profit. From then on, I have decided to hold some of it and sell it at the nicest time. I will never repeat the same mistake because I've already learned how to take advantage of every market situation.
A lot of us have learned from 2017 experience, my mistake that time is I was not able to maximize my profit, I trusted altcoins a lot and converted my bitcoin to altcoins, and it was really a mistake, now, I'm hoping bitcoin will drop a bit so I can still continue to accumulate at a cheaper rate.

I know bitcoin will not just rise easily, it will still be the same old bitcoin which pump and dump, so even if we are already at $19k now, I'm confident that it will still drop again to give us another opportunity to ride.

maybe 1 btc is already enough 10 years from now, $100k per bitcoin is quite possible.
3312  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Mind Blown Gambling Facts on: December 04, 2020, 03:57:46 PM
A gambler named Archie Karas went to Las Vegas with $50, gambled it up to $40 million over the next two years, only to lose it all in three weeks. Source

How about this one? Who thought that winning is gambling is not possible, damn, small capital to $40 million, must be a gifted gambler, I wonder if there are many of them in the planet.

Though it's possible, but we should not think that this would happen to us, winning in gambling is not just for everyone.
In fact, winning is only for few people while casinos always makes money at the end of the day.

Losing your sacrifices and efforts to earn a $40 million in two years and lose it in just  three weeks was so terrified. In gambling it will surely have a 50/50 chances of probability of winning and losing but it doesn't mean that we win once we will become a winner in our every game. And i guess earning that huge amount of profit in two in gambling doesn't define you already as a good gambler. There are some missing piece of our past experience that we should to look back to be able to become good.

I can't agree with you, earning from $50 capital to $40 million and yet you are still not convince that he is already a good gambler? Ridiculous, I think not everyone can do that, maybe only 1 in a million can do that, this gambler is skillful to grow his small capital to millions in the span of 2 years.

yup he lose in 3 weeks but he will keep trying to win again as he already know how to win.

He is some kind of greedy, we understand that, but let's just look at the bright side of the picture first, $50 to $40 million, that's a real skill man.
3313  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bad days for crypto on: December 04, 2020, 03:22:53 PM
for me the worst day in crypto currency is when the dump happened,
like it happened last week, when the Bitcoin price had a big correction I thought this was the end of the bullish,
and immediately it was recovering again, how could this not make me confused to analyze.
Dump is normal in crypto, so as pump, if you are only expecting a pump, then you don't understand how the market work.
The popular strategy will be applied if the market is so volatile, and that is buy the dip and sell the peak or buy the rumor, sell the news.

I've learn that in the past, before the 2017 bull run and until now I still find the strategy simple yet effective.
3314  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO, IEO! Which one do you want to return again? on: December 04, 2020, 03:06:35 PM
ICO are now less attractive to investors because of scam projects but IEO is still more reliable than ICO because of top exchanges but lately there isn't any new promising upcoming IEO crowdfunding simply because there are no new projects available right now, I still like IEO more than ICO because a third party (top exchanges) is available to take full responsibility
Do they really take full responsibility? I think when a big exchange accept and IEO, they will demand a fee from the project but they are not in control of the project, so if it will be scam afterwards, a big exchange cannot undo that, but of course we can always take legal action as a big exchange will always ensure they will get the information of the teams who compose the project.

Sometimes, I think big exchange do hype a certain project, so we can't just easily trust and blindly invest on a certain IEO because it's listed in big exchanges.
3315  Economy / Speculation / Re: 2013, 2017 bubbles and 2020 bull run on: December 04, 2020, 02:26:55 PM
So long story short I have to say that we are going to be either awesome in 2021 or very bad like 2018.

I like that you also mentioned the possible bad side, with the current price, lots of investors have already made a decent profit as we are almost hitting a new ATH. Those who bought bitcoin at below $10,000 have already doubled their investment, so I'm thinking even if bitcoin will reach a new ATH, a correction is still likely to happen.
3316  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Any clue why whales are pumping shit coins at DEX? on: December 04, 2020, 02:05:54 PM
First, let's look at the trading volume, if the volume is not good then it's just purely a game, whether it's the whales or not, or whatever you call it, don't play their game if you don't know how to get out safe. DEX has lose its credibility already, it was only popular during the time of ICO.
3317  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stable coins for bounty hunters on: December 04, 2020, 01:43:51 PM
It will be nice if campaigns can be paid in USD
But how about the amount of pay?

When tokens are still the most popular, people are getting a good payday after the bounty campaign, but when it's in USD, the reward maybe receive right away by the bounty hunters but for sure the reward is very low.

Also, things to consider, not everyone who run a project had enough capital to start, that's why we call it a crowd sale.
3318  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is the crypto market saturated? on: December 04, 2020, 11:04:07 AM
in my opinion this is only limited to renewing tokens in the market, the profit by making new tokens is very large, many project teams are trying all the time to create new tokens and attract investors. So I think your word is correct, there are only a few tokens to choose from on the market
Most of them are scammers, they are trying to scam with their useless project, actually projects they will create are only good in paper but in reality they really don't plan to implement what is written but will just entice investors and steal their money.

We should know that, this market is so risky, if you don't have the knowledge, you will just likely lose.
3319  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Invest in your ability to earn more. on: December 04, 2020, 10:46:51 AM
Investing in your ability will definitely help you in the long run either you start off as a Bounty hunter or a trader. As a hunter investing would mean improving your skills as a content writer, video promoters etc. While as a trader, you develop your trading psychology skills too
You don't need an exceptional ability to participate in bounty, it was just an easy job IMO, however, these days, bounty hunting seems not that profitable compared in the past anymore, so your best chance to make money is to look for a real job. Well, trading is good but this has risk, and you need to invest money as your capital to start trading.
3320  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Know what bankroll management is in sports betting? on: December 03, 2020, 11:08:04 PM
I think I can do most of what the OP said but I think what I find difficult is the second one the one with the stop chasing losses usually I write down my losses and try to recover it but I think the OP is right we should not chase our losses.

One of the most popular mistakes we've done in the past.

You already lost when you think of chasing for your losses, you should immediately stop if that became your goal. Our goal is to have fun, to be entertained while we risk our money into these games. I think we can also call that greedy since we are thinking we could take it all back and just take back the time lost with wins.

Well no, our goal should be to make money and have fun at the same time, that's being realistic man as no one would have fun if they lose their money in gambling, coming from me who gambles in different gambling sites and have done a lot of mistakes in gambling already.
Same here, the goal is to make money, and I don't believe that a gambler would just say gamble for fun and that's it.
As a human, we are greedy by nature, so regardless of our bankroll size, we still want to win.

We only different on bankroll size and our approach on it, but we have one common goal which is to win.

Controlling your bankroll is a must, but the goal should be the win.
I know because sometime in the past I lost my control and everything goes bad, bankroll was wipe out in just minutes of playing.
Bad experience that I don't want to happen again.
