2321  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will these coins survive 5 years? on: October 21, 2021, 09:20:49 PM
I have all of these coins:

ETH 40%
CARDANO 20%
POKALDOT 20%
TERRA LUNA 5%
THETA 15%
Avax: 10%

Are my coins going to last is it likely?
I'm sure about ETH, Cardano, DOT, but I'm in doubt with the others. I'm just thinking about how they perform today and the use case of the projects. For so many cases that a project had a strong start but it never last longer due to the purpose of the said project, plus the support from the community. It is very unlikely to see the project will stay for many years if investors never see any market potential gain but instead, they just ignore them.
I just said I was in doubt because we can't predict the future of the project and certainly we don't know the plan of their developers.
2322  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: October 21, 2021, 10:30:06 AM
Yeah very very stressful game it was with a lot of ups and downs and it was not easy to predict where this match was going. Surely it was game of the night and Jalen brown just turned it around with that half court 3 just 5 seconds before the end. Woow amazing game
Yeah, it was an epic battle at MSG. Jaylen Brown had a sensational performance, and he looked unstoppable. Unfortunately for him and for the Celtics, it wasn't enough to win. By the way, the starting lineup of the Knicks also performed great, although Walker's debut did not impress.

I thought that Kemba will play very good against his former team. Anyhow, it was a classic game 2 OT, players are all tired. But there can only be one winner and NYK bench was the key, specially Fournier, ex-Celtics who scored 32 in 44 minutes. Randle leads the team but he is being criticised for taking a bad shot and should have pass the ball instead for Fournier.

Kemba is not the same anymore, even during his time with the Boston Celtics, he is already inconsistent and that's the reason why he was traded to the Knicks which I think he would do well as there's not much pressure on him compared to when he signed with the Celtics where he was coming from a team that he always leads. Celtics traded him because they weren't satisfied of Kemba's performance, but let's hope we will see the old Kemba in NYK.

2324  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: October 21, 2021, 06:13:55 AM
I didn't get up early to catch any of the matches tonight, but I was able get Phoenix vs Denver Nuggets at the final 3 minutes or thereabout, I go a live bet for Under 211.5 @ 1.95
This one gives you a win but you are lucky you weren't able to out your bet on the Celtics vs NYK game as the home team won the team.

Celtics ML would have been my pick, If I had been able place my bet earlier.
Maybe by their next game, you'll win as for sure they'll bounce back from this loss in a close game against the Knicks.
2325  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Any hope for BitcoinCash? on: October 20, 2021, 09:34:45 PM
Any hopes?
It will depend on the market adoption. It still gains some trust from others that it keeps this project alive but to talk about long-term, we don't know.

Do you think there is any hope for BitcoinCash?  Is it still one of the major alts that will pump?  Will it reach previous all time highs?
Despite of the hate, bitcoincash is still a huge altcoin staying on the top positions but since there’s no major update yet from them, its price is still playing on a sideways without showing strong up trend. I still believe Bitcoincash can still make its nee ATH, and by that time Bitcoin hits the price of $100k already, so technically this will take more time.
To me bitcoin cash seems like a big paper tiger, it may seem impressive for the untrained eye but once you begin to see there is nothing there you quickly realize the coin has no other fate but to eventually disappear, the only question that we have is that we do not know how long is it going to take for that to happen, but whenever that happens I will most likely not realize it as bitcoin cash is one of the coins that I try to ignore on purpose as it has been damaging the image of bitcoin among investors for a long time.
if that all people had known that, they may hate Bitcoin cash as well, but seem not all and so the reason why many were still investing and protecting this project. But the question is do they become profitable? Maybe they have the reason why keeping this project but for me, it was not on my list. I'd rather invest in BNB and ETH than this coin.
2326  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading Cryptocurrency for 1 Week! on: October 20, 2021, 08:48:24 PM
One week is actually enough to make a profit as long as you can analyze which coins are trending and hype. On average, those who make big profits take advantage of coins that are hype even though it is also very risky. But this technique will not be the same as next week, you should try to re-analyze the good coins again.
Being profitable on the first week in trading doesn't mean that you were good already. No, we just got lucky and our strategy had work or we got this favor. We just to know where we are and test our capabilities if we traded long coz it possible that we got a profit this time but we lose by tomorrow. This is how trading works, we can't find assurance nor tell others and show that we are good already and trading will be easy. That all be lies as never it happens that all the times we're in good and profiting.
2327  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: October 20, 2021, 07:22:20 AM
Man… We wait all summer to see the new look Lakers and the Nets back in action and they both lose. Not totally out of the realm of being expected since the Lakers are still trying to figure out how to play together and the Nets are without their point guard. Still, I’m hoping this doesn’t last too long. I want to see some highlights and blowouts!
We can understand why the Nets lose because Irving was not playing, but the Lakers... no.. Westbrook was not performing as expected, I don't know what's in the mind of Lebron now, maybe he is thinking if he can undo the trade, lol.. anyway, this is just 1 game, let's see if they'll bounce back in their next game.

BTW, LeBron was playing very well, his outside shooting was spectacular.

It was unexpected for the two top favorites to win the championship, but it is what it is, they lose a game so all they need is to correct their mistakes so they'll start winning again. Moving on to the games tomorrow, we have 11 games to bet on, so we can choose the best match to bet and it's wise if we will start analyzing it now.

I'm keeping an eye on the Denver vs Phoniex, I think -6 is too high to cover if the Suns will win, I also think that the Nuggets are focusing to avenge their loss in the playoffs and hopefully Joker will be more focused so they'll snatch a win here.
2328  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: October 20, 2021, 06:14:40 AM
Bucks leading the Nets in the second quarter. Giannis is taking the first game seriously and they want to proved that winning last season's championship is no fluke.

James Harden leading the Nets, and so is Patty Mills, I guess they won't miss Kyrie as Patty is a very solid all around player.

Score: 50-37 - Bucks.

I did not see the live game but that quarter was the 50-37 - Bucks.. is that in favor of the nets or the Bucks. I can only see the per quarter score now and the Bucks really dominate in 3 quarters, except in the 2nd quarter, they were so good that they prove why they were the champion.
2329  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Technical aspect in trading on: October 19, 2021, 09:12:22 PM
Hello, friends, I have a request on trading skills that prompt this request is because of my recent experience in trading I used a large amount as capital for trading and at this moment the only amount being left to trade with is $200 I lost all my funds to spot trading.
Am looking for the technical aspects of trading what are the tools needed to build a good trading career.
* Don't use a large amount if you were just about to start learning to trade
* Don't stop looking for strategies that could help  and improve your knowledge and skills
* Don't rush yourselves to trading if you don't have enough capabilities
* And the last one, never force yourselves to trade if you feel uncomfortable doing this coz you will only just fail and lose all your money.

You should have to be smart in making decisions and bear in mind that trading is not an easy game, you will certainly lose if you don't do it in the right way.

2330  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coin you hold for Next Bull Run on: October 19, 2021, 08:32:11 PM
SOL and ADA. SOL has been pumped so hard so most people were against the idea to buy it or look forward to its next bull run but I think this coin still has a lot of room to grow and many NFT coins going to flock over its network pretty soon. For ADA well I think the inactive for its in this year so there might be a chance it was overlooked look and I'm waiting for its pump at the next bull run.

Well, why did ADA grow well this year, I think the holders were very happy (those who waited), and even now there is still a good potential.
I disagree with you about SOL, but ADA is a very good option.
Not really sure about ADA, as it was because it never show such significant market growth this year and I'd never think he can perform so well just like 2017. If I do hold some altcoins, ADA is probably not on my list, I'd rather have to choose those hot coins and high trading value. That of course, BTC is on the top and followed by BNB, ETH, and I may take some consideration to SOL and Axie (NFT). Well, I guess, I shouldn't have to buy more coins this time as the rally has started already.
2331  Economy / Economics / Re: Entrepreneurs, money and investing - your culture on: October 18, 2021, 05:14:08 PM
In our country, the rich people are not the native because the native is misled that having a job will provide security in life so people do not choose to risk investing in a business. I would say that our economy is struggling because it's controlled by greedy businessmen who do not provide a competitive salary to people to uplift their standard way of living, but, I understand how it works so I get out of employment and start my own business.
2332  Economy / Speculation / Re: October Bitcoin bull month. on: October 17, 2021, 11:15:42 PM
October has been a big lucky month for bitcoin adopters, where investors are screaming that they've got their winnings back after months of going through painful market conditions before. bitcoin has received high support this october and is doing well.
I suppose you are referring to new investors because for those that endured the difficult years after the crash that we saw at the end of 2017 this is nothing, even if someone that was still around during those times was facing huge losses I doubt they would have panicked or were desperate as they knew already the price of bitcoin can move down extremely quickly and the crash to 30k while important was nothing compared to the crashes we have seen in the past.
That's exactly, it was the 2017 experience something it teaches all old-timers to stay strong in every correction that we have encountered. No reason to get panic as the volatility of the market never stops, it dumps today and it will still recover later. But if we got too emotional and let this emotion controls us and make a decision, we are just driving ourselves to lose our money. This could always happen to anyone who was still doubtful about Bitcoin and they could never escape from losing until such the time that they will change.
2333  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The rise of Axie Infinity on: October 17, 2021, 10:50:02 PM

What do you believe to be the key factors that could have made this price movement possible?
* Gamer had found this platform to make money online while playing. And by listening to the wonderful experience by the early users, it certainly gains much attention and courage to use this as well which makes the project grow.

* Investors had to see this project as very successful because of its application. And they have some insights that as the gaming platform is growing, the possibility that this project become more valuable someday.

They believe what they see and taking the risk of buying more which increases the demand and also the price.
2334  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Putin believes Bitcoin has value on: October 15, 2021, 03:29:24 PM
I remember the time that Russia said cryptocurrency trading is allowed but not as means of payment (in other words legal tender). At least they could still trade cryptos, but it would be better if they could expand its use cases like as a medium of exchange. It’s good for Putin to say that Bitcoin has value, but that’s just the first step. Hopefully in the future, he would consider allowing cryptos as mode of payment but should be regulated very well like registering as an operating payment system (OPS).
Its been a while that Putin announcing that Bitcoin could be considered as a legal tender to their country but it was sudden that changes his mind and turn it in favor of Bitcoin adoption. I like the idea of changing his decision but if that only will be going to happen, where it having stricter and regulated rules it never attracts interest for the people to adopt Bitcoin and use it.
I assume that he already understands how it works but with his actions, I think he wanted to make it centralized and take control of everything which is not acceptable by the majority.
2335  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How did you learn to trade? Did you learn it in a hard way or?...... on: October 15, 2021, 02:41:51 PM
It was really hard to start trading before due to a few sources of information that we get but for now, there are a lot of tutorials available online, and it's up to us if spend more time looking at them. That is why I could say that learning trading was not hard anymore but what makes it challenging for us is how to make a good TA and effective strategies. This comes to be the hardest thing to have a good and profitable trades, and even we say that it was too easy to know about trading but usually a lot of traders ended losing their money due to the lack of experience and trading strategies.
2336  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo Alvarez vs Caleb Plant on: October 15, 2021, 04:44:48 AM
I'm gonna take that odds, this fight will not gonna go to the distance, Canelo is motivated to knockout Plant because of the disrespectful manners of Plant during the press conference. Actually, I have never seen Canelo this angry during the press conference in his previous fights, and guess what, he still dominate his opponent so most likely this is an exemption, he would dominate and KO his opponent early, 1-3 rounds is my prediction.

Dude, no one is saying here that Caleb is going to win. But you are taking this too far. If Caleb was someone who gets knocked out in the first 3 rounds, then he wouldn't be fighting Canelo in the first place. What do you really think about this match? When was the last time we had a unification match where someone got knocked out within the first 3 rounds? Show some respect to Caleb, as he earned his fight against Canelo. At least he has remained undefeated so far at the ring (although it is not going to matter much against Canelo).

Haha, show some respect @Finestream, what is your basis that Caleb will be knockout within the first 3 rounds? I think that's unlikely since Caleb has never KO before and he also knows how to protect himself as a champion, however, no one can predict what would happen so let's see.
2337  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: October 15, 2021, 04:19:10 AM
also this is how they manage to do such thing in the boxing world nowadays , as i also losing my trust in boxing industry.
This is pure business, trust how they run the business and don't trust your feelings as you might only be disappointed. In boxing, those fights who makes money are prioritize, that's why we have a promoter as they run the business and they make sure they make money in every fight to the point that they could make the two fighters act real even if it's just a lie.
2338  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't trade using instinct on: October 14, 2021, 11:27:46 PM
for beginner traders mostly use instinct when entering the market. and most of them lost their assets. there are many tutorials that teach how to analyze candle trading. DYOR
And you are also very knowledgeable about other people's work, do they (the Newbies) contact you directly when they experience loss of assets and when they use their instincts in trading? really funny and annoying Grin Cheesy
maybe this is also true because I was one of the people who did this a few years ago.
and I don't deny that because it's true because when I was first here I didn't even understand it and just guessed whether it would go up or down, and of course you already know what the results will be Smiley
but indeed it is a journey and process i am not saying that it should be tried but it is true it has some truth even though not everyone does that.
And that you need some technical analysis in order to improve your trading results. We can use our instinct sometimes but it was important to have the basis of our decision as well. Having TA and FA, you can really see the difference between not using it. Of course, newbies could be hard to do this and it needs more market exposure and trading experience to make such analysis, and spending more time in the market will somewhat help a lot. If we wanted to reach our goal, I guess we have no choice but to do this instead.
2339  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Tesla make 1 billion profits from it Bitcoin holding on: October 14, 2021, 10:36:20 PM
As Bitcoin price relies on around $58,000 investors are already recording their profits and one among them is Tesla, a company own and operated by Elon Musk a popular cryptocurrency whale. The company bought 43,200 Bitcoins sometime in February 2021 have yielded a 65% that is 1 billion dollars profits at the present Bitcoin price.
Credit: https://cointelegraph.com/news/elon-musk-s-tesla-is-already-1-billion-in-profit-from-holding-bitcoin

Bought at $43,200 to the current price $58k, that is really in big profit supposedly but somehow they just hold it which is just turn a dream. As Tesla company doesn't have a plan to sell their Bitcoins, there is no such thing as PROFIT.
Well, that Cointelegraph is doing something to divert the mind of the people, they wanted to encourage people to buy Bitcoin and be like Tesla who assumes to have in huge profit by simply just holding which is not in real life.
2340  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Nonito Donaire vs Reymart Gaballo (WBC bantamweight) on: October 14, 2021, 06:10:40 AM
You're right, Nonito Donaire is supposed to be a stepping stone for young Gaballo and the Philippine boxer is not in his prime anymore given his age and his last fights.
No, we can say that Donaire is not in his prime anymore but his last fight was pretty impressive, it looks like the young Donaire has come back as his signature left hook was their and that resulted to an early KO of his opponent which was the champion that time.

So if Gaballo couldn't defeat or even get a close score against Donaire then this young boxer isn't worth it to fight closely against other champions. But if Gaballo will win, for sure there will a be lot of line-up match afterwards and there'll be a promising future new for the young boxer.
Gaballo has to KO Donaire, at least if that would happen there would be no controversy anymore and he will gain the respect of the fans of Donaire.
