3342  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO, IEO! Which one do you want to return again? on: November 23, 2020, 05:37:17 AM
I agree that the defi hype is very similar to the ICO and IEO hype, but I think there is more to it. Yes, of course, there are a lot of scams among defi projects, but some are really very useful for cryptocurrency. By the way, IEO is still popular today and will always be popular.
Of course some are helpful while some are not, like an IEO or ICO, not all projects are really useful and in fact we can only count the projects that has really survive until now, some just show up for a while and gone forever.
3343  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are we going to see another PANIC on: November 20, 2020, 12:02:45 PM
The only thing that we have to watch out now, is what happen after the all time high, where the price crash after recording the highest price, I hope it's different from the time high that we experienced in 2017.

What will expect, after the bull run there's always a correction that will come automatic, when the price corrects, don't even try to continue holding as we don't know how deep it will fall, better convert it to stable coins to preserve the value and just accumulate when it well start to rise again.

Don't get fooled my friend, this is just a cycle, and we've seen this before already, so let's make the right decision this time.
3344  Economy / Exchanges / Re: yobit account freezed withdrawal on: November 20, 2020, 11:56:08 AM
Who, in their right mind, would lock their account knowing they still have funds there?
Maybe he was exploring that platform and trying the other buttons if it really worked without thinking that his funds would be put in jeopardy there when he made a mistake, and worse he couldn't do anything to get it back to normal. We know that it is a bit confusing because it is very complicated to look at exchanges, especially if you are not familiar with using them.

Even if he is exploring, but the fact that he was the one who freeze it, then he can also unfreeze it anytime he wants, a reply of yobit's representative is most requested and in this kind of problem, a reply should be faster if their usual is not. I don't know what's the current update but it seems like OP is already offline after making this thread. Hoping to hear further message from him.
3345  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casino workers forced into unpaid leave on: November 20, 2020, 11:32:12 AM
To get a permanent job in my country, you must quit your previous employer.

What if I find a new employer first or apply for a new job, when I'm hired then I will just quit from my previous employer. Is it allowed? Won't I be sued if I do this? Unpaid leaves is really not good especially if you have responsibilities to take care of.
I guess that will not be a problem because we can hide that we apply for a new job in the other office from our office or company. And when we are being accepted as a new employee at the new office, we can tell our old office that we resign from our job. I think you will not be sued and you still get paid from the last month because you still work with your old office. People will not want to get unpaid leaves because they can not get their income, and that is why they search for a new job before they resign from the current office.

It's our right to apply for a job, do we think that our previous employer are still interested of employing us if they have already force us for unpaid leave, that's a common sense, you know what it means and you know what to do, if there's someone who has the right to sue, it should not be the employer, but you as an employee.
3346  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamblers lose more money than win. on: November 20, 2020, 11:16:26 AM
Eventually you'll master it, at least have a plan so your problem next is on how to implement that plan. Not only setting a specific amount of winning, but more so on the amount of losing as that's where the real problem starts, when we are greedy, we will lose more than we expected.

Yeah, with enough experience you will get more grasp on your emotions and you tend to be more calm and confident while betting and you know what is your limit, how much you should bet and when you should stop betting and take a break, that is why it is always smart to start betting with smaller amount of money if you've just started gambling and you don't know much about it.

The moment you started feeling that you got enough experience now and you are not feeling as anxious anymore while you're betting and you are in some loss that's when you can start increasing your bet size gradually if you want.

I'm not just saying it because I read it somewhere, I really experience that. With my long years of experience in gambling, I have already learned how to control myself and I think that is the most important whether you just play for fun or you are serious treating gambling as an investment.
3347  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamblers lose more money than win. on: November 20, 2020, 10:42:05 AM
Even We don't like losing in the gambling but Lose always chasing us, and that happened because of the greediness We felt every time
We played in the game platform. I've experienced this many times in gambling online here in cryptocurrency. So, for us to avoid this thing let
us not become greed as a gamblers in any of the games whether in casinos, slots or in-house games.
I doubt it. They can easy to say but you wouldn't you are greedy until you lose, I've experienced that already but what did I do to trick out my greediness is to setup a certain target win maybe like $300 whenever I deposit and if I reached it then I'll withdraw, might not work to others but worth a try.
Eventually you'll master it, at least have a plan so your problem next is on how to implement that plan. Not only setting a specific amount of winning, but more so on the amount of losing as that's where the real problem starts, when we are greedy, we will lose more than we expected.
3348  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XRP] Ripple Speculation on: November 20, 2020, 09:06:30 AM
What users have to understand and accept is that no matter what the nonsense people are saying about XRP and Ripple the fact remains it has a massive multi-billion USD$ market cap and it has a stable top 5 crypto for many years. It will not be going anywhere out of the top 7-8 crypto for a long time to come (if it ever will) so it is still an investment worth considering with its low price.

Great comment and to add these Billions of market derives from the control of big banks that has a great purchasing power. XRP that was known as Ripple in some years ago was born to break the pace of decentralization which by the way is a negative aspect. However, we cannot deny the market level and rely on speculation knowing that the values are real.

We cannot deny that XRP is a successful project, but as a crypto enthusiast, I would rather support the decentralized platform than the centralized one, and you are right, it's controlled by big investors, so it's very risky to own it as if those investors would dump, we might not be able to get out with a profit or even cut our loss to an acceptable amount.
3349  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin continues the positive trend today, is the altcoin market in trouble? on: November 20, 2020, 08:59:48 AM
Bitcoin continues positive also will make altcoin be positive, Altcoins always follow bitcoin tren.
Maybe it will but as of the moment, I did not see altcoins has already followed the trend, it's only bitcoin which is bullish now.

You can try to check coinmarketcap now, and you will see most of the altcoin also in positive tren because bitcoin and altcoin always on the same paths.

Different if stable coin, if bitcoin in positive tren, stable coin will be in negative tren. Always opposite
Yes there are some, but it terms of consistency, I'm not seeing it yet.

The market will only be fully bullish if bitcoin continues its run until it break the current ATH, I think that would be a major achievement this year if it will happen, bitcoin will then be all over the news and the FOMO will start again.
3350  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you read the TOS of a gambling site? Honest answer please. on: November 20, 2020, 08:44:22 AM
For the common casinos we play, we don't seem to care at it at all because we're confident playing with them and their terms are also common as the others.
But for the newer casinos that we're about to play, it's important to look at their terms first before depositing. Agree with @Mahanton, that's awareness but others are neglecting it.
Good advise, sometimes because of my daily schedules i don't care about the gambling TOS as much but something bad happened when i get into a new casino without read their TOS early this new, this action of mine put my winnings out without any remedy. Except those gambling platforms we already been playing; should be seen as TOS not useful for read but not new casinos in this case.
Then what happened to your money there? Are you able to withdraw it despite the problem that has occurred because you haven't read their TOS?
There are remedies for that as long as you agree to the term and requirement that they will give to you. No problem for the best casinos, although there will be times that they can be strict with you depending on what they can see in your account.

It's not a legit site, even if you are not reading the TOS, a legit site would not withheld your winning, they can close your account but they will have to release your funds as that is yours, unless you are caught cheating that resulted to an easy win.
3351  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casino workers forced into unpaid leave on: November 19, 2020, 11:07:41 PM
It is going to be a tough situation for the casino owners. And let's remember the fact that not all of the casinos are owned by billionaires like Sheldon Adelson. A number of them are owned by small-scale owners such as various native American reservations. So I don't expect all of these casinos to have enough cash reserves to pay their employees even if they remain closed for an extended period.

Macao is in China. There are no various native American reservations. All casinos in this city belong to private campaigns. It is difficult to condemn them for what they had fired some of their employees. Every business exists in order to bring profit to its owners.
All that remains is to hope that the pandemic will end soon and the economy will start its recovery.

The thing is they are not firing their employees, they are just into unpaid leave which means they are still connected with the company and they can come back when the business is needing them, but this is not really helping them at all because they are not making money when they are on leave, so they have no option but to find a job while they are still on leave from the company. For this long pandemic period, no company would be able to withstand especially in the entertainment industry like casinos.
3352  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you believe NBA is rigged? on: November 19, 2020, 10:33:03 PM
I really can't imagine that the NBA is being rigged, and by that i mean that a whole team is involved to let another team win or something.
That indivual players are bought to make 5 fouls before halftime or something like that is imaginable, you can also bet on stuff like that, but like i said the the whole league is rigged is impossible to me.
It's definitely impossible if we are talking about the whole league being rigged, it's not a wrestling matched though.

Buying a referee also won't help you to win in basketball i think.
There is just too much money involved just like in the NFL and in the european football (soccer) leagues that you can manipulate those completely.

No, it would help, what if refs would make bad calls to favor a certain team, that would help a certain team to win as refs decision is final, they can call a foul even without a foul and every points in basketball matters a lot especially if the game is close.
3353  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: November 19, 2020, 10:20:20 PM
"Source: Golden State’s Klay Thompson has suffered a season-ending Achilles tear."
https://twitter.com/wojespn/status/1329492642896470016

Awful news for basketball fans and the GSW in particular, Klay is out for the season.

It means that another good player loses the opportunity to be great, and I don't believe that he will able to play at the same level after recovering from two serious injuries. And yeah, the warriors will be at the bottom of the league again...

Sad news for GSW we all know what he's contributions to the team, and I agree even he recover from that two injuries he's moves will be limited.

He's the best shooter of this era from my opinion, not only that but also a good defender, GSW quest for another trip to finals will be tough unless

they'll be able to get someone who can work the same level as Klay to this team. Too early and there are always unexpected changes before

the last day of trading process. Fast recovery for Klay!

Very sad news indeed, I was expecting that the warriors would be a great contender this season but "THIS"... I think they have no chance to be in the finals in anymore, or even in the playoffs, they would still struggle without Klay Thompson, wish them good luck and Thompson's speedy recovery.
3354  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lottery Gambling on: November 19, 2020, 09:29:54 AM
This is a kind of lottery with a small prize only, honestly mate, I would rather bet on sports and put a parlay bet than betting on this kind of game.
Not to discourage you but if you love sports, you can parlay like maybe 5 or 10 leg and your odds will increase, and you will still enjoy as you can also do a little analysis with it.
3355  Economy / Exchanges / Re: yobit account freezed withdrawal on: November 19, 2020, 09:22:19 AM
Or maybe send a message to their support first, you will get a faster answer in the site than in here.
Unfortunately even sending a message through their ticket support, you are likely won't get any reply (based on my experience and others). Their support/customer service is very very bad. They are only care about their daily Pump and dump new token.

Well, I never experienced that, I get a reply from the support whenever I have a problem with the site, but that was a year ago already since I'm not using Yobit anymore AFAIR.

There's no yobit admin staying here and you are in the wrong forum maybe visit their own forum kindly search this cryptotalk on google and post your issue as well go to their telegram channel to place your rant and issues.

If days past but no answer from them you can create a scam accusation to create awareness.

Or maybe send a message to their support first, you will get a faster answer in the site than in here.
Look, here's their account - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=406594

That account is not active anymore, was only active last January 27, 2020, so you can't expect a reply from them.

3357  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are there any truly safe bets in sports betting? on: November 18, 2020, 11:52:27 PM
No sports betting is safe. The only exception is when you know about a negotiated match, but if the bookmaker finds out about it, he can cancel the match results.

I don't think this is true, have you already seen a sports that was cancelled because bookies believe that the it's a negotiated match or a fix match?
For the cancelled match who will be paid. There'll be gamblers placing bets over both the teams. This isn't possible, and in most cases the match gets rescheduled. Myself have won on games on which the player himself retires from the match on injury. By the time the opponent will be announced as the winner.

Yes, it's not possible for a match to get cancelled or bets to be cancelled when the match is over even if there are rumors that the game was a fix match.

@KennyR ...I think on your statement about a player retiring in the match, that is just normal, there's nothing doubtful on that which would make the bookies believe that the game is fixed.

Thing is, if we say fix match, it's not easy to prove it as insiders or those who fix the match will not allow themselves to get caught, hence the game will still look as a normal game but there's already a winner on it.

The project is not yet dead but the price of token is dead.

What does it mean? Meaning the project is not popular because people are not investing in the project anymore.
I think it's hard to bring back the glory days due to the huge competition now, but they have accumulated a lot of money during the ICO, so it's not impossible.
3359  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: November 18, 2020, 10:51:33 PM
Today we got another rumor about Harden's trade.

Maybe the Celtics want to offload salary cap, and now they are trying to get rid of Walker and Hayward because both have a contract with a salary of ~$32 mln. for the 20/21 season.

They've got both Brown and Tatum that similarly work and a good 1-2 players, having Kemba didn't materialized. With hayward, he's no longer

playing like how he was after that major injury. Celtics are unloading and trying to offer good compensation if Harden consider this option what

adjustment might be for the coach, knowing that Brown, Tatum then Harden are all scorers and always looking for the ball.

It would be like signing a Kyrie Irving, but Harden is the better one as he will not missed many games due to injury problem. Boston Celtics will continue to experiment here as they are already close to success but they still fell short, if they can acquire Harden, then I think it's a great improvement.
3360  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin dominance hits 65%, alts lagging behind on: November 18, 2020, 12:25:42 PM
There's no altcoin run yet, bitcoin dominant rate is too high, the last time there was a bull run, bitcoin dominant rate dropped to 30% level and I don't see it happening now as there's plenty of shitcoins in the market, so people are losing interest investing on altcoins, and if ever bitcoin will create a new ATH, I think there's a possible run of altcoins but not the majority, dominant rate of BTC will still stay at over 50%, that's for sure.
