3361  Other / Off-topic / Re: CAMPING? on: May 07, 2021, 11:15:58 AM
so im planning a camping trip with my friends, we are planning to rent an RV or should we just camp with tents! first time camping so don't know which one i would rather do! any tips?

It depends on the weather and on the location you want to go to. I have done both and find camping with tents more fun. If you want to travel around than an RV might be better because building up and taking down the tents can take a while if it's your first time. But if you busy plan on staying at one spot then definitely go for tents. Try to choose a week without rain.
3362  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you limit your gambling time? on: May 06, 2021, 03:02:20 PM
I don't gamble a lot of times but whenever I do, I feel like I can't stop so basing on that experience, I would say that probably I am not good with managing my time when I gamble. Good thing that I don't have a lot of money and my Internet isn't that good so I can prevent myself from doing online gambling because I know what happens next.

The first few times I gambled online it was hard for me too to stop. When you go to a physical casino it is much easier to stop, because you want to eat and drink something. But when you are at home and have the snacks and a beer right next to you, it becomes so much harder to stop gambling. That is also why I stopped completely to gamble on my phone, it is better to focus more and play on a desktop PC or a tablet in my opinion. Without really limiting my gambling time I would have probably lost quite a bit of money, because I tend to not always stop when I won.
3363  Other / Off-topic / Re: This generation is normalizing prostitution. on: May 06, 2021, 02:45:38 PM
No one is perfect but this generation is bringing the worst out of humanity. This generation has seen prostitution as a norm. It's safe to say they are in a nation's budget.  Like the recent video that surfaced online about a lady dancing naked, licking a dildo, and smoking not knowing the dad was around, fortunately for her the dad caught her and beat the heal out of her. Most parents won't do that but in times past you dare not think of that talk much of doing.
This generation is turning into something else. I fear for my kids tho' wonder what it would be like when they are grown.
Prostitution shouldn't be a norm in our society.

The best example for this is on the streaming platform Twitch.  If you go at any given time of the day and check who are the most viewed streamers, it is always a girl doing a Whirlpool Party in their room. It is so disturbing to see a girl in a bikini at 9 am in the morning and having like 5.000 viewers or more. What is the point of it? And why do people donate money to her? It is a crazy world we live in. How can you make sure your kids grow up with decent manners when everywhere on the internet it is all about Sex sells?
3364  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shall I HODL DOGE? on: May 06, 2021, 02:28:21 PM
Price of this coin rise so drastically and something that went up too fast and the downfall will also be fast. If im being you, when i already got profit more than 3 times i'm gonna cash it out and turn it into another good coin.

I would hold my Doge Coins longer. With the price being around 0.60 at the moment there is still so much room to improve. People expect Doge to rise to at least $1. So until that target is reached I am not thinking about  selling any of my coins. To be honest there is no real pressure to sell right now, it might take a few weeks or month until the target is reached. At the moment it seems that there are many new investors coming into the doge coin market. The longer we hold our coins, the higher the price is going to rise.
3365  Other / Off-topic / Re: Dogs or Cats? (Highly off-topic) on: May 06, 2021, 02:07:30 PM
Most dogs get really stressed out when left alone for long periods of time (for example, overnight), and after a while, just get a little crazy.
But my cats are happy to be left alone. And I get to enjoy the quiet when I need to work and think. And for the most part, they come when I call them. Cats do make good office companions.  Wink

I agree, living in a big city in a small apartment it is not good to have a larger dog. Dogs need to run and have space to move around. That is probably why I don't have a dog. My parents live in a small city in their own house, they have 2 dogs and the forest is not far away, so every day the can make a big walk with them. For the city apartments it is probably better to have a cat if you really want a pet. They can stay alone for a longer period of time and don't need to go outside.
3366  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you run when you fail or loose in a trade? on: May 06, 2021, 02:02:27 PM

"How many persons loose in a trade, and then go back to find out why they lost, and the mistakes they made?"

The best idea I can give a new trader is to diversify your money across your multiple coins. If we don't put all our money into one coin than the risk of losing our money is much lower. The chances of losing across 5 different coins at once is very small. If we own multiple coins than our loss in one coin should be offset by the winnings in another. The second advice I think is good to follow is our risk management. We should clarify before buying a coin what our potential losses can be, how much we are willing to let a coin drop in value before we sell. If then put in limit orders at these level, for example 15% below our buy price than we can protect ourselves from a complete loss.
3367  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: This happened many months ago but still wanted to share. on: May 06, 2021, 01:48:38 PM

Due to all of the violations stated above, we were regretfully forced to void the winnings. As with any winnings removal we process, your original deposit was re-credited so that you may try playing again, hopefully without further violations of the terms.

Once again, I am so sorry that this happened. Thank you for your understanding.

That is a pretty sad story. Making 20k out of 400 is already insane, either you are very lucky or very talented. Not reading the TOS is definitely a problem with such kind of money involved. Where you able to withdraw at least some kind of winnings or everything got blocked? Maybe you can try and just to deposit again and go for the same profit? I would be so happy with 20k, this would be so much money. Imagine what we could use those kind of funds for in our alt coin trading book. The casino must have been relieved to not pay those winnings.
3368  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Joe Biden is President of the United States of America on: May 06, 2021, 01:30:52 PM
I think Mr. Joe Biden is a famous politician. He has the quality of a leader. The world economy will flourish for many years to come under his management. I hope Mr. Joe Biden will help orphans around the world.

Now that's the spirit!!!!

It's been almost 6 months since Biden moved into the white house and so far he seems to be doing a decent job. I didn't hear of any scandal yet and if he keeps going like that he should be fine. If he doesn't change his mind and will start doing some strange policies everything should be okay. Who knows if he will run for office again in 4 years, maybe he will also step down and make room for the first female president.
3369  Other / Off-topic / Re: Divorce, how can we stop it.? on: May 06, 2021, 01:04:40 PM
For many years many have wondered the real cause of a divorce could it be cheating, money, name them. We have sen it all.
Human beings are insatiable and the human mind?   Hmmm, we can't figure out the working mechanism of it. With the recent divorce of bill and Melinda gate, many are wondering what could be the solution to divorce. For a couple as rich and educated as bill and Melinda gates to divorce I don't no who can say the perfect plan to end divorce Is this.

I read in an article a few months ago that the divorce rate of new marriages is around 50%. Which is insanely high in my opinion. The biggest thread to marriages is probably the internet, there are so many different dating apps in these days. We are getting offers all day long. So whenever something goes bad in a relationship or marriage it seems to be easier to just go for a new one, instead of trying to fix the old one. Also the celebrities these days are usually having being married a few times themselves so it kind of seems normal.
3370  Economy / Economics / Re: How do you define rich? on: May 06, 2021, 12:53:34 PM
in general, rich people are people whose lives are comfortable because they have a lot of money, so that any wish can be fulfilled. By using branded goods, they seem to occupy the top social status. but there are also rich people who are low profile, but from all of these good asset management will prevent poverty

This might be true in some cases, especially for the newer rich people. Having branded luxury good is usually a way to signal to others that you made it in life and that you have a lot of money. But what I noticed from the super rich is that they don't really care about these brands. For them it is more important to have functional things that help them in their daily life. Sure they have nice houses and nice cars but don't really want to show off, and are more interested in privacy and secrecy.

Bars and other leisure activities are still closed in my country and not a good way to earn right now. One more thing you could add to the list would be to sell things from home. The second hand market is very big and there can be a lot of money being made. Or dealing  with antiques can be very profitable as well.
3372  Other / Politics & Society / Re: [POLL] Do vaccines kill people? on: May 06, 2021, 11:39:56 AM
Inspired by our dear P&S celebrity BADecker:

The vaccines kill, and the deaths are being hidden.

I must say I have some doubts about this statement. Let's have a quick vote and set the record straight. Obviously only vaccinated people can vote because we can trust only first-hand experiences. So if you have been vaccinated please let us know if you're still alive or not.

Unfortunately I can't answer the pool because I am not yet vaccinated. But everybody I know who got vaccinated is still alive. In my country there are around 10-15 million vaccinated people and the death from vaccines are below 10 I think. Also it seems impossible to hide if someone dies from the vaccine. If a young person in your family dies you want to know why, there will be an inquiry and the family will not be silent about it.
3373  Economy / Economics / Re: Could the digital Euro, Dollar or Yuan bank the unbanked? on: May 06, 2021, 11:29:37 AM
May time we forget that there are millions of people out there that do not have access to any type of banking. I am speaking of millions that do not geenrate a recurrent income, do not have access to credit and have their lives quite limited for that fact.

One of the possible advantages of having digital currencies that are recognised by strong central banks and can be moved digitally is the possible access of all this people to a system of storage, exchange and maybe even credit through the digital official coins. I can only begin to imagine how huge can be the economy enabled by these initiatives if bitcoin alone has already taken a preeminent place in a few countries such as Nigeria, Myanmar, Venezuela, ...

This sounds very promising, I am just not sure who is going to give credit to people who are not going to get credit at the moment. The credit companies with their ratings might make mistakes in some cases, but on average these credit scores are an important tool for banks who is eligible for a loan and who isn't. If there are no assets that could be used as collateral for the loan it becomes very difficult. If that money is digital or traditional fiat currency, the lender is always trying to protect their investments.
3374  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What age bracket is perfect for gambling on: May 06, 2021, 11:13:20 AM
The worst thing that can happen to a human being is getting addicted to gambling. Gambling can frustrate grown-up human being life talk more like an underage kid. I wouldn't bear it seeing an underage playing gambling around me cos I know how terrible the effect might be in his or her life when he comes in age.

The best time to get involved in gambling is when you already have something doing than you don't have at all and you found yourself, gambling with fire

Gambling at an age of 18-25 might be more risky to get addicted to gambling, but it has also upsides. First, you have less money as a student so it is more likely that you will lose money when trying out new games. As a new gambler we need to get familiar with all the different casinos games. If we start when already having a good income than we will likely gamble with more money. Second, we are learning better at a young age. It will be easier for us to learn new strategies. Third, we are less attached to others in life. Later it might be that our wife won't allow us to gamble.
3375  Other / Off-topic / Re: what do you do when the weather is very hot? on: May 06, 2021, 11:07:17 AM
what do you do when the weather is very hot?
if it is cold it will be very easy to make it warm, but if it's hot it is a little difficult to make it cold. So, what do you usually do?

Warm weather is more difficult for me than cold weather. So during summer I always sleep with open windows, don't really use blankets anymore, use AC whenever possible and take regular cold showers.
3376  Economy / Economics / Re: China to overtake the Us as the largest global economy by 2028? on: May 05, 2021, 12:44:31 PM
Okay, how sure are they about all that? Maybe the pandemic has been really bad and has caused a lot of things to happen and also pushed the US economy to a point where it’s low at this point, because they didn’t take a quick action to stop contain it before it became a wild fire.

As for China, we all know how it all happened, the whole world were pissed with them for not giving out information and the way they were able to contain it easily made the world to feel like they were the mastermind behind it all lol. Anyway, the future is one thing that no man can tell, we can only assume that something is going to happen based on what we are seeing at the moment, but things can still change at any moment.

Don't you think that there is something strange with this? China is where the virus first originated. And yet, they have reported less than 5,000 deaths. On the other hand, the United States has reported close to 600,000 deaths. Can anyone explain the reason for this difference? Is anyone going to argue that the healthcare system in China is much better when compared to that in the United States? Or is someone going to claim that the population density in the US is more than that in China?

This is very strange indeed. So far I didn't read much about how the virus really originated. We all know that China likes to manipulate it's numbers, but still how can that be? China has so many people and they also live together very close in large cities, but still it doesn't seem severe over there. Also I heard that China has multiple corona vaccines already on the market, even before western pharma companies had them. It doesn't sound right.
3377  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Another youngest crypto billionaire on the list on: May 05, 2021, 12:35:40 PM
We just got another young billionaire on the list of crypto billionaires. Vitalik Buterin is one of the co creators that partake in the launching of Ethereum Blockchain in 2015. Vitalik has different wallet addresses that contains not less than 333,600 Ethereum which is approximately more than $1 billion because of the recent surge in the price of Ethereum to 3000 plus in dollars.

Vitalik is a generous donor who had donate funds to the less privileges including convid-19 relief fund for India https://www.forbes.com/sites/ninabambysheva/2021/05/03/ethereums-27-year-old-co-creator-is-now-the-worlds-youngest-crypto-billionaire/?sh=29d38a457c94

Congratulations. Well deserved in my opinion. ETH is an awesome coin, and having the founder being so prominent and publicly available is great too. We are still wondering who the creator of bitcoin is, but with ETH we know it. As long as we all make money with ETH I don't mind that he is a billionaire, let's make everybody rich.
3378  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is the best Sport to bet on ? on: May 05, 2021, 12:27:57 PM
If you search online you will find many platforms for playing games in which case you may be deceived by many so using your knowledge you can invest here or focus on playing games otherwise you are likely to lose your capital.

Having knowledge about the game we play is key to success. Even if it is games like slot machines, we should atleast know the basics about payouts and possible jackpots. If we just gamble blindly than without knowing much about the games we are more likely to use money. The same goes for betting, if we don't know much about the sport than we just can take the bookmaker odds as they stand. But if we do our research we can find under valued opportunities where we can profit a lot.
3379  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you play any musical instruments? on: May 05, 2021, 12:10:05 PM
I want to learn playing the piano, and I am looking for some advice on it. But feel free to share anything about you playing different instruments here Smiley

I had to learn to play the piano and the flute when I was little. Somehow I didn't really like it and my teachers forced me to do it on school. I think it would have been better to play something more modern like guitar or drums. Not going to force my kids into any instrument, better to let them choose themselves.
3380  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trillion dollar DOGE on: May 05, 2021, 12:05:43 PM
None of us thought Dogecoin could get where it is.
Looking at it now, I think they could push this anywhere.
$10 - $15 even
Trillion dollar marketcap?  Sure, why not.

I think people who sold their doge coin last month must be a bit mad right now. It seems that prices are going to rise even higher in the future. I am not selling any coins right now, best to just hold. Thanks reddit for the push.
