341  Economy / Economics / Re: The impact of Russian and Ukrain war on world economy on: December 09, 2023, 09:36:02 AM
By launching the biggest bloody and predatory war in Europe in over 70 years, Putin's regime in Russia has dramatically spurred an arms race around the world. Instead of investing material resources in ensuring the development of new technologies that will contribute to more comfortable conditions for human life, the development of science, further space exploration, now many states are creating or acquiring the most deadly murder weapons that can protect, if necessary, the country from such bloody regimes. Of course, this is very sad.

I think the race among countries to acquire the new and the best cutting edge technologies in warfare has always been going on quietly and most times majorly overlooked. But with the launch of the war in Ukraine, tensions are mounting all over and funds that was supposed to have gone towards something productive and beneficial for the general populace has been sunk into the military.
Admittedly, wars and chaos would drastically increase the tensions that’s already heightened and cause nations to increase their military budget to help acquire new weapons of mass destruction and warfare. Of course, gun runners would also have fat pockets at the height of any war.
It's right. Russia's attack on Ukraine led to a sharp increase in defense spending in Europe, the United States and other countries, which realized that the precarious balance of world security had been upset. Many states began to provide assistance to Ukraine with weapons and military equipment, and they themselves developed a certain shortage of weapons.

In addition, this situation accelerated the rearmament of many countries, especially in Europe, where there were still Soviet weapons, which were primarily provided to Ukraine to protect against Russian invasion. In return, they acquired the latest models of NATO weapons, which showed good results in this war. Also, many countries began to refuse supplies of Russian weapons, which turned out to be worse than NATO ones, and to order purchases from NATO countries.

Due to the fact that Russia began to openly threaten many states with war, in particular the Baltic countries and Poland, they also began to increase the size of their army and military equipment. The military factories of the NATO countries are operating at full capacity and for many years to come.
342  Economy / Economics / Re: Our future with renewable energy. on: December 08, 2023, 10:16:14 AM
As compared to the pros the number of cons are more with that of renewable energy as we cannot get it easily and we cannot get benefit from it 24 hours per day. If we take an example of solar system so it cannot persist in every weather and every hour of a day.

The performance of renewable energy is not as fast as we requires but one benefit is here that world will not be effected by the harmful effects of sun when we use it to as a source of renewable energy. We will also be profitable and our money will be saved if we use renewable energy as it is cost effective and do not require much money to cover its bills.
In my opinion, we have no other choice than to massively introduce renewable energy sources and try to replace traditional ones with them - oil, gas and coal, which cause irreparable damage to the environment and dramatically change the climate on our planet. Talk about it being expensive, difficult and not so fast is absolutely unfounded. After all, we are actually talking about the survival of humanity.
In addition, alternative energy sources have been developed relatively recently, but are being improved at a rapid pace and their cost is falling. I think that over time they will almost completely replace traditional fossil energy sources and this will be very cool.
343  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum price before Christmas on: December 08, 2023, 09:39:24 AM
Hello,
If someone has made a loss in buying and selling Ethereum, what is your suggestion? Should he\she hold Ethereum?
Is it possible for the price to reach $2300 before Christmas?

Thanks.
Meanwhile, the price of Ethereum has touched up to $2382. The price of ethereum may go higher around Christmas. If someone has lost a lot of money investing in ethereum, I would say that he should stay invested for a long time. Ethereum market will make better position very soon, nothing to worry here.
I sold some of my Ethereum coins just before the last relatively sharp increase in the price of this coin and its current growth does not make me very happy. For now, I hope for a correction for the upcoming Christmas and New Year holidays. I think there will still be price fluctuations before the Bitcoin halving. Before the expected big growth, whales almost always arranged for prices to fall. This is a very good technique to skimp on the eve of a big bull period. But for now, Ethereum may continue to rise for some time.
344  Economy / Economics / Re: Energy Crisis 2.0 in the New World Order era on: December 07, 2023, 09:14:42 AM
Energy crisis could be solved in every nation, just create self sufficient ones, solar, wind, nuclear, hydro, and anything else you can find, these are all stuff that you can do to cover energy need of a nation without being depending any other nation, its as simple as that.
Sadly it can not.
Because for starters the renewable energies you named can not replace fossil fuels in a lot of products we are using. You see gas, oil and their products are used in a lot more than to produce electricity.
Additionally building the infrastructure to use renewable energies is difficult and in certain places impossible. Not to mention that in certain cases (eg. nuclear power and electric cars) majority of countries need to import both the technology and the fuel (nuclear fuel and lithium batteries) which means another form of "energy" crisis.
Renewable energy sources can and, most importantly, should replace current fossil energy sources. Without this, humanity will no longer survive, since the use of oil, coal and gas as energy sources and in internal combustion engines leads to drastic climate change and this process threatens to soon become uncontrollable.

At the same time, the technology of alternative energy sources continues to improve and become cheaper. Surely their use will soon become simple and cheap, and thus we will be able to solve most of our current energy problems.
345  Economy / Economics / Re: Russian Crypto Exchange Moves Money for Gaza Groups on: December 07, 2023, 08:52:52 AM
Russia is still trying to push for its ideologies and interests through other fronts. They will never stop doing this in order to alleviate the pressure at their doorstep and make people forget the war in Ukraine by simply helping fan the flames on other conflicts. Putin has been a major supporter of these extremists for the longest time, as he knows he can use them one way or another, and it seems that it is working as more eyes are peeled on the Gaza conflict.

It may not be Putin directly, but the mere fact that the funds came from an exchange that is governed by Russians mean that this was unchecked, or rather was let slipped, by the government.
The war between Hamas and Israel has been going on for two months and is close to ending with the defeat of Hamas. By attacking Israeli territory, Hamas leaders apparently hoped that other Muslim countries would support them, but this calculation did not materialize. And without such support, Israel will quickly end Hamas.

As for Putin’s Russia, this attack was not without it. The transfer of funds to Hamas in cryptocurrency is only one of the types of assistance provided to these terrorists. Putin is interested in fomenting wars around the world in order to look less noticeable against this background with his attack on Ukraine. Apparently, the next military conflict involving Russia will soon be an attack by Venezuela on Guyana.
346  Economy / Economics / Re: Venezuela vs Guyana. A new problem in the oil market ? on: December 06, 2023, 03:39:17 PM
It appears that the situation between Venezuela and Guyana continues to escalate and is rapidly heading towards war.

On December 3, Venezuela held a controversial referendum in which, according to official data, allegedly 95 percent of citizens were in favor of incorporating Essequibo into their country. Guyanese President Irfaan Ali called the referendum a reason for Venezuela to annex the region.

The head of Venezuela, Nicolas Maduro, following the results of a controversial referendum on the border with neighboring Guyana, declared the western part of this country - Essequibo - the 24th state of Venezuela. At a parliamentary meeting on Tuesday, December 5, he proposed introducing a corresponding bill. In addition, he called on the Venezuelan National Assembly to adopt a law to “protect the disputed territory.” Such actions are very reminiscent of Russia's actions before the invasion of Ukraine. Is it because Madura’s instructors and advisers are really from Russia?

Maduro also ordered Venezuela's state oil conglomerate to immediately begin issuing licenses to develop oil, gas and other minerals in resource-rich Essequibo. He gave oil companies operating in the undivided sea three months to wind down operations.

347  Economy / Economics / Re: Russian Crypto Exchange Moves Money for Gaza Groups on: December 06, 2023, 08:29:08 AM
Russia's crypto exchange funding Hamas is not unusual because America is funding Israel just as Russia is funding Hamas, support or not The important thing to do that both sides should try to stop the war together and pray that because Bitcoin digital currency can help in many ways. We should actually call a stop to the war and sit the two sides together and decide it should be our responsibility then the common people will be saved from death and the world will have a better world.
It is useless to negotiate with Putin's Russia. They understand only force and nothing but force. Any calls for negotiations in Russia are perceived as a sign of weakness and a reason to increase military pressure. At the same time, the Kremlin’s calls for negotiations are only being conducted there in order to have time and the opportunity to regroup and prepare for new attacks. At the same time, Russia does not adhere to any previous agreements. This was clearly demonstrated by Russia’s war in Ukraine. For such a threat to disappear, it must also be eliminated by force. Unfortunately, there are no other options.
Now Russia is trying to fan the flames of war around the world in order to distract the world community from attention to its war in Ukraine.
348  Economy / Economics / Re: Food security in the world has been shaken by Russia's actions on: December 06, 2023, 07:58:31 AM
Russia is not abandoning its attempts to prevent Ukraine from selling its agricultural products on the world market, carrying out missile, bomb and drone attacks on port infrastructure on the Black Sea coast. However, the Ukrainian Armed Forces give such attempts a worthy rebuff.

Thus, on the evening of December 5, the Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed a Su-24M bomber of the Russian Aerospace Forces in the Black Sea near Zmeiny Island. The information from the Ukrainian side is confirmed by Russian military officers; the Russian Ministry of Defense, out of habit, remains silent. The bomber was shot down while attempting to strike the Odessa region, when it tried to damage the so-called “grain corridor” - the Black Sea route through which Ukraine supplies its food.

349  Economy / Economics / Re: Russia To Legalize Use Of Cryptocurrency In International Trade on: December 05, 2023, 05:52:28 PM

The Russian ruble fell, that's true, and the plan of forcing other currencies to use ruble for international trade didn't really succeed. However, Russia isn't desperate enough to try adopting cryptos for foreign trade either, it seems. The thing is, adoption would be required not just by Russia but also by its trading partners, and considering that Russia's mainly focused on doing business in Asia these days, it's not a fertile ground for Bitcoin adoption (India is known to be wary of Bitcoin, and China is directly against it). The sanctions maybe have weakened Russia, but unfortunately they didn't lead to anything resembling an economic collapse, and Russia adapted fairly well to them, as shown by the fact that they can still continue to produce weapons and continue waging their imperialist war against Ukraine.
You noticed this correctly. After European countries sharply reduced their consumption of energy resources from Russia and intend to completely abandon Russian oil and gas in the future, China and India have become Russia’s main consumers, and they do not have a very good attitude towards cryptocurrency. Therefore, the legalization of cryptocurrency in Russia, even only for foreign trade, will not lead to anything good in terms of increasing trade turnover. This is probably why nothing has been heard about trading in Russia for cryptocurrency for a long time. Maybe some transactions in cryptocurrency with other states are taking place, but in Russia they will not talk about it openly.
350  Economy / Economics / Re: Venezuela vs Guyana. A new problem in the oil market ? on: December 05, 2023, 10:32:30 AM
Since the region is rich in oil, it will certainly become a theater for regional and global conflict. Of course, as is known, Venezuela is in a state of hostility with the United States and has friends such as Russia, China, and North Korea, who are the traditional enemies of the United States.

Therefore, the region will most likely become a scene for a global conflict whose main poles, as usual, are the United States on the one hand and Russia and China on the other. The United States has announced its intention to build a military base in Guyana to protect the interests of major American oil companies operating in oil exploration concessions in the region.

Under these circumstances, I do not expect Venezuela to dare to go to war with American forces next to it. Most likely, this is a kind of electoral propaganda and escape from internal problems.
On Sunday, December 3, a so-called referendum on the annexation of the disputed territory of Guyana took place in Venezuela. It was most likely carried out to justify possible military actions against this country. Regardless of the actual results of this referendum, the announced results will reflect Maduro's plans for an attack on Guyana. That is, within a week we can find out whether Venezuela will attack Guyana. I think now Maduro is very carefully watching the reaction to these events from other states, and above all the United States. The question is whether Maduro will still decide to attack. Of course, he will be pushed to do this from the Kremlin, promising all kinds of support. It is very beneficial for Putin to divert the attention of the United States and NATO countries to other military conflicts from the war in Ukraine and especially by reducing the provision of military assistance to it. But Maduro is risking a lot and I hope he understands this.
351  Economy / Economics / Re: Economic Implications of War on Individuals on: December 05, 2023, 07:03:49 AM
The second point is perfectly correct, and is confirmed by modern practice. The "ideal example" is Ukraine, where the pro-Russian President Yanukovych, during his term of office, did everything to extremely weaken the armed forces of Ukraine, demoralize the forces, deprive them of the necessary reserves to wage a defensive war.... The result you know - 2014, Russia's terrorist attack on Ukraine, and this terrorist war continues for the 10th year....
Yes, the last (to this day) legitimate president of Ukraine Yanukovych killed no one. Pro-American junta leader Zelensky killed or mutilated over 1 million people. Can you feel the difference?

You start making things up again - the war started in February 2022 not in 2014.
73.22% of voters in Ukraine voted for Zelensky in the 2019 elections, and international observers confirmed the free will of Ukrainians in the presidential elections in the country. Therefore, Zelensky is a completely legitimate president.

Yanukovych betrayed Ukraine and, at the instigation of Putin, refused to sign an association agreement between Ukraine and the European Union, and when people came to the main square of Kiev to express their protest, he ordered shooting at unarmed people and killed 104 protesters, whom the people later nicknamed the “heavenly hundred.” When after this the protesters in the square announced that they would storm the Yanukovych administration, he fled from Ukraine to Russia, where he remains to this day. Courts in Ukraine sentenced former Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych to 13 years in prison for high treason and complicity in Russia's war of aggression against Ukraine.

Ukraine, with President Zelensky, is now defending itself from a military invasion of its territory by Russians, and at the same time, not a million, but over 300 thousand Russian occupiers have been killed and maimed. If they continue to attack Ukraine with weapons in their hands, then perhaps this figure will increase to a million.

Russia captured the Ukrainian peninsula of Crimea, as well as parts of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions in 2014, and since that time its troops have been conducting military operations to seize the entire territory of Ukraine. Therefore, Russia’s war of aggression has been going on for ten years.
352  Economy / Economics / Re: War and property mortgage you still need to pay If war destroy your Property on: December 04, 2023, 02:35:36 PM
Yes, you can sell your property or return it to the bank if you are expecting that war will rage your place. But you also have to take note that you will be losing part of your investment when selling or returning it to the bank. The open market, especially the bank are experts in assessing properties including an upcoming war so they will definitely take a huge chunk of value to your property.

Imagine paying a portion of the property and then only to find out that its value is like nothing already. It is for you to decide. After the war, you still won the property if you continued paying for it. And in case of a war, banks will of course pause the payments so there will be no penalties. So it is for you to decide since you are more familiar with your place and its situation.
Wars, as a rule, begin unexpectedly, or there is not enough time to alienate one’s property in a dangerous zone, or it is no longer possible to do this for a number of reasons. Therefore, the majority of the civilian population in any case suffers from the destruction of their real estate by war.

Now in Ukraine, the Russian army is destroying 90 percent of the majority of settlements that it conquers. Civilians can't do anything about it. It is impossible to sell your property in a combat zone because no one is buying it, given the too great risk of its destruction in the future.
353  Economy / Economics / Re: Economic Implications of War on Individuals on: December 04, 2023, 02:20:26 PM
Wars are started and wars are ended by a few countries and a few people in the world and a few countries in the world. Many countries cannot refrain from war even if they want to because they have nothing to do.
Many countries continue to be anti-war because of regional and geographical interests and colonial politics so that if war exists among them, they can also profit. Because of this many times war does not end
Apparently, in order for there to be no wars or significantly fewer of them, states must agree with existing borders and not try to change them by force. Now, for example, Venezuela suddenly remembered that more than a hundred years ago, a significant part of the current territory of Guyana belonged to Venezuela and they intend to take it back by military means. Although the real reason for this possible war is the discovery of large oil deposits in this disputed territory. Apparently, human nature is such that he will always fight with his neighbors until humanity itself perishes.
354  Economy / Economics / Re: Isreal and Palestine war and losing your wallet phrase and password on: December 04, 2023, 02:01:29 PM
You have to be creative in times of war to store your keys safely somewhere you know it's not going to be destroyed. Keeping it with you all the time is a good idea. I think I would store my keys inside my wallet, within my documents, written as a poem or letter, that is, something with emotional meaning, to avoid suspicions by potential regulators or enemies who can ask for my documents at some point of the war.

Another idea is to just memorize it. It's not an impossible task, and considering how important it is, I think nobody would complain about making some effort to memorize their keys.
Actually memorizing it is the best choice, although it is not as easy as it is said, but if we try, I think nothing is impossible.
That's how it should be, keeping the private key always with us under any circumstances. So besides me keeping it in a very safe place in some places, keeping it in your wallet is also a good option.
And I also plan to engrave my personal wallet on a small steel plate and wear it as a necklace because that way my personal wallet is always with me. And that's another option besides me storing it in a place that is safe from anything, and depending on the type of dangerous condition and I will anticipate if there are signs.
In some circumstances, especially in conflict or war situations, it's best to have a prhase with us all the time. We don't know what will happen to our homes in times of war, and frankly we don't know what will happen to us either, unless we are in a safe zone.
But I didn't think of carrying it with me or writing it on a piece of paper, because that would be risky too, as it's easy to damage. Memorizing it is a good option too, but make sure you never forget what you've memorized, because in difficult situations, in my experience it's very difficult to remember what you've memorized.

It's unlikely that a good way to store the private keys to our cryptocurrency wallets is to keep them with us in a war zone. In this case, there are also many options for how we can lose them. It would probably be the best option to send them to your relatives or good friends in a safe zone. But everywhere has its risks. Apparently, there are simply no completely safe options.
355  Economy / Economics / Re: Venezuela vs Guyana. A new problem in the oil market ? on: December 03, 2023, 08:54:01 PM
It is very likely that a military conflict between Venezuela and Guyana will begin soon, or rather, it has already begun. And this conflict threatens to develop into a multilateral one, with the participation of many states. Information has already appeared that Venezuelan special operations forces have crossed the border with Guyana and are fighting in the Essequibo region with the defense forces of this country.
Guyana is now trying to enlist the support of Brazil, the US and Britain to curb Venezuela's appetites. Brazil has already made it clear to Venezuela several times that it will intervene in the event of hostilities. Brazil's Defense Ministry, which is supporting Guyana in the conflict, has decided to send additional troops to guard its northern border amid tensions between Venezuela and Guyana over a territorial dispute. The Pentagon has sent some of the leadership of the US 1st Security Force Assistance Brigade (SFAB) to Guyana.

The Guyana Armed Forces (GDF) number 12 thousand people. At the same time, the total strength of the Venezuelan army, including the police, is over 300 thousand people. Dictator Maduro in Venezuela is supported by other dictatorships - Russia, Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Belarus and China.

It appears that someone is trying to divert the attention of the United States and the West from the war in Ukraine and weaken the assistance provided to it. The fighting has not yet subsided as a result of the Hamas attack on Israel, and suddenly there is a new source of military tension. And evil tongues say that “Wagnerites” have long settled in Venezuela. But everything secret sooner or later becomes clear.
356  Economy / Economics / Re: Food security in the world has been shaken by Russia's actions on: December 02, 2023, 09:28:40 AM
In order for the war in Ukraine to end, it is enough for the Russians to withdraw their occupation troops from the territory of Ukraine. Ukraine has not attacked and does not intend to attack Russia.
Why are you planning to join NATO then? What for? Let's put it straight: Ukraine ceased to exist in 2014. It's a US colony atm, governed, militarized and sponsored by Uncle Sam.
Ukraine plans to join NATO primarily to protect itself from attacks from its ever-aggressive neighbor, the Russian Federation. This country constantly attacks its neighbors, as a rule, under the pretext of protecting Russian-speaking citizens, taking advantage of the fact that during the USSR the Russian language was actively implanted in the Soviet republics and many people in the former Soviet republics still use this language in communication. In order to escape the suffocating embrace of “big brother” in the person of Russia and continue to introduce democratic principles of building a society, Ukraine needs collective security without the participation of Russia, and NATO is almost ideal for this. Therefore, Ukraine has set a course for joining the EU and NATO.

Is Ukraine a US colony? It’s better to be a colony of the United States than of the Russian Federation. In any case, the United States does not organize famines, does not instill Bolshevik communist ideology and other attributes of Soviet power, and is not a prison of nations, which the Russian Federation still is.

I think that soon these peoples, whom Russia is now driving to Ukraine for slaughter, will rise up and gain independence. But Russia does not have its own oil and gas; it is a parasite due to the exploitation of the territory of other nationalities. Then the far-fetched greatness of the former Moscow principality will come to an end.
357  Economy / Economics / Re: Russian Gas ban - A problem for Europe or suicide for Russia? on: December 01, 2023, 12:20:55 PM
Due to the fact that Putin’s Russia itself began to blackmail European countries and reduce or even stop gas supplies to them, the Kremlin has driven itself into a dead end from which it can no longer get out. Having lost the European sales market, Russia cannot find other buyers for its energy resources, is forced to make large price concessions and becomes dependent on them.

Now Russia is under enormous pressure from China due to the fact that Russia has lost the huge European market for its energy resources and wants to increase their supplies to China fivefold. Taking advantage of this, China demanded new gas discounts from Russia and no longer wants to build the joint mega-project of the Power of Siberia-2 gas pipeline. But if the pipeline is not built, Russia will have nowhere to send huge volumes of gas. Therefore, she already has to reduce the volume of their production.

Russia's budget for next year provides that the average gas price will be $297.3 per thousand cubic meters compared to $501.6 for Europe and Turkey previously. The discount for China in 2024 will increase to 46%: Power of Siberia-1 gas will cost $271.6 per thousand cubic meters, and for Turkey and Europe - $481.7.

At the same time, it must be taken into account that the European market is lost for Russia, if not forever, then for a very long time. Russia is suffering big losses, selling its gas to the East very cheaply in a hopeless situation.

358  Economy / Economics / Re: Food security in the world has been shaken by Russia's actions on: December 01, 2023, 09:01:52 AM

Then you need to start believing not only Russians want this war to end. My biggest wish is world peace. Let go, it's over. You're not going to recapture Crimea or Donbas. Ukraine lost these territories forever. Just stop the f*cking war. Ukrainians (and Russians alike) don't have to die for that. It's not worth it.
In order for the war in Ukraine to end, it is enough for the Russians to withdraw their occupation troops from the territory of Ukraine. Ukraine has not attacked and does not intend to attack Russia. Therefore, if the Russians go home and stop killing women and children in Ukraine and destroying the country’s infrastructure, the war will stop. All that remains is to calculate the losses caused by Russia and, through international judicial and other bodies, seek compensation for them to Ukraine, because you will have to pay for the pleasure of robbing, killing and raping. In the meantime, the Russians are attacking the territory of Ukraine, it is stupid to say that they do not want war.

Ukraine has no choice but to defend its freedom and independence. Therefore, as long as there is at least one living armed Russian left in Ukraine, the war will continue. Ukraine will definitely return its territories sooner or later.
359  Economy / Economics / Re: The economic effect of people flying from RF mandatory conscription on: November 30, 2023, 02:50:13 PM
For a year and nine months now, Putin’s Russia has been regularly sending its citizens to Ukraine for slaughter in order to destroy this state. But if at first they were sent to the war in Ukraine mainly from the far outskirts of the Russian Federation, now, thanks to the rapid destruction of “live meat,” they are now reaching the central regions of Russia. Moreover, information is leaking to the media about the colossal human losses in this war and the Russians are very concerned that they themselves could become this “temporary living meat”, and therefore their attitude towards the war began to change. If previously about 70 percent of Russians consistently supported the war, now this figure has dropped significantly. But nevertheless the war continues. Russia has already lost more than 330 thousand of its soldiers and the conveyor of death continues...
Experts from the Institute for the Study of War (ISW) estimated that in November 2023, the Russian army was losing an average of 931 soldiers per day, the highest figure for the entire war. And the current assault on Avdeevka, which has been going on for almost two months, is the main reason for such a grandiose grinding down of the Russian Armed Forces.

I don't agree that we are being "spied" by Google, Meta and Microsoft. By using those platforms, we are giving our permission for our data to be used for marketing purposes. It's not spying if you are aware that your online behavior is being tracked. Grin Spying is only when you don't know.
I don't know about whether or nor our smartphones are recording us. I usually hate wearing my smartphone in my pockets and I don't keep my smartphone turned on for very long periods of time. You can do an experiment to prove your theory. Talk about something in front of your smartphone and then do a Google search(or Bing search) about the thing you talked about.
Users of social networks give permission to collect and analyze general information about them, but we do not know whether this collected information is being used in good faith, or whether additional information is being collected that we would not like to make public. And this is definitely happening. Today's technological devices provide us with much more convenience, but they take away our privacy.
