341  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are you selling your altcoins so soon? on: February 20, 2019, 02:45:57 PM
I here and see that a lot of people are selling their altcoins for this reason or for that reason. In some cases I here that people are even spending their altcoins to buy Bitcoin. Now that one really has me confused. To me it’s way to early to be selling your altcoins. It’s like selling an original painting before it even gains in value or while it is still gaining in value. What smart investor does that unless they are selling out of fear or because they are desperate. For me I am holding all of my coins for now because it is way to early to even think about selling your altcoins; what say you?

I think every hodler and trader have different views about crypto. Some expect to have big rewards so they are hodling despite the temptation to sell because of the bearish market. Some are good enough in having small but steady returns that is why they are selling right away every time they see gains in their investments. As long as you are happy with your decision, then you must be doing the right thing in hodling or selling your crypto.
342  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to make money on cryptocurrency in 2019 on: February 20, 2019, 02:10:31 PM
I think trading would be the best option for me. Before joining bounty campaigns were my main activity to gain crypto. But I hear many news from my friends of being banned in bitcointalk by posting bounty activities. So I mostly do trading now. I think it is what made me survive the bear market right now.
343  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: I stop using some exchanges on: February 19, 2019, 12:58:18 PM
Im never good at trading ,always lose money but how about those who lose money due to exchange been hacked? Well thanks to new exchanges that only support p2p ,no profiles ,no emails ,no passwords, they are the safest out there ,this is why I'm so hooked with changelly since 2016 ,so use this kind of exchanges and you are safe from hacks and phishing who is with me? Other exchanges that are like changelly are ethershift and tokenmom ,there might be others too

I have been experimenting with different exchanges lately looking for the best feature and interface. But so far I was not so lucky with my trading compared to last year. Maybe because the market is very bearish right now that returns you get are very minimal.
344  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will cryptocurrencies be able to use for payment? on: February 19, 2019, 12:28:10 PM
Lots of blockchain team have developed blockchain and cryptocurrency for payment.

Will cryptocurrencies be able to use for payment?

Will it be useful and convenience?

Which coin do you think the best for payment in the near future?

I don't know why you are asking if crypto can be used for payment. Crypto has long been used by many companies for payment for their services or products. Maybe you are asking if it will be mainstream and has the possibility to replace money. This has long been discussed in the forum many times. It might not replace money totally but it will be an alternative.
345  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: IDEX account hacked/compromised *HELP* on: February 16, 2019, 01:13:48 PM
Hello

My balance on IDEX are gone....

IDEX live support says that I may have accessed a phishing website, but I haven't...

My account: 0xeD1a13DCE13c2FD1FDB094e31fd0c69513566F0C

The funds have been transferred to the following account.
0x47D9A519529EBCc1491480ACdc145B996A44EEF8

Is it true that my funds have been... hacked?

This is unfortunate. If tokens were transferred from your account to another that you don't know, then you might have been hacked. Maybe you have visited a phishing site that got information to your login or security information. There is nothing now you can do to it but use another wallet has more security features.
346  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is ICO Dying ? on: February 15, 2019, 03:29:30 PM
I am Bounty  Hunter and For past one Month  i have notice something which is beyond my thinking .. I have been participating any many bounty  but right what i notice is that  ICO  project is really straggle to reach  soft-cap  whilst STO  are reaching hard cap . Are people forgetting about ICO and Moving Into STO ?

As long as there are ideas to sell, I think ICO will continue to exist. It may be slowing down right now because of reports of scams but once these will be controlled and eliminated, investors will return once again and trust the industry. ICOs are good way to get discounted coins so I think it will be here to stay.
347  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who needs today to believe? on: February 15, 2019, 03:13:20 PM
Listen to the forecasts and do not know who to believe. Some say the end of autumn will begin the recovery of the market, others for the winter and cite the facts that it will happen and others say that it will happen by 2020. Guess and no one knows anything for sure.

No one can certainly know for sure else everybody would be rich right now. I think despite the prediction of experts, knowing very well about the project you are planning to invest to is very important. Some of these predictions are just for hype and encourage innocent investors to invest.
348  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to avoid ICO scam. on: February 15, 2019, 11:56:42 AM
Apparently, ICO investors continue to fall prey to innumerable ICO scam. The effect of this is very devastating on investors perception of crypto-project ICOs.
While it appears there is no apparent solution to address the current scam associated with ICO in the crypto space. I propose that we help each other in finding out the best ways to identify and separate genuine ICO from fake ones....
Share your view and help a friend from falling prey to ICO scam. Let help build a healthy crypto environment. Fight the scam now.

The more you learn about the project the more you can avoid scams. I think every investor should take time knowing everything about the ICO so to eliminate the possibility of joining a scam project. Scammers are getting better in deceiving people of their money so it is important to be wise.
349  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How to Identify Good Airdrops ?? on: February 14, 2019, 01:55:31 PM
Anyone tell How to Identify Good Airdrops ?? In these days crypto altocoins airdrops are very trending.

Tried some airdrops happening lately but there seems no pattern to identify the good and the bad ones. It seems the reward is very small and meaningless right now. Not like the previous couple of years that the stakes participants received are substantial and have high equivalent value.
350  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: KYC on: February 14, 2019, 01:46:01 PM
KYC can be complicated and at times unnecessary especially for small airdrops.
What do you think?

Indeed. KYC should be for whales and big investors. For the project to know the profile of their investors. But for receiving stakes for airdrops, I think its just unnecessary and not needed anymore. Airdrop participants purpose is to market the coins and receive rewards from the activity only.
351  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investing on altcoins... on: February 13, 2019, 03:24:48 PM
Do you think that any altcoin is worth investing in?
Please give me your ideas.
Thank you..

yes. I think altcoin is a worthy investment. actually one of the best I have invested. You just have to be patient and don't be in a hurry to receive your returns as it requires a lot of patience and hodling and identifying carefully the coins that have long-term potentials.
352  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Old coins vs new coins on: February 13, 2019, 03:06:40 PM
I think whether its new coin or old coin it does not matter. It still depends on how the team runs it and make it competitive in the market. Old coins have the experience and have weathered every situation in the market but new coins have the newer and more advanced features also that will compete with the old.
353  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is the large variety of Altcoins hurting the market? on: February 13, 2019, 02:33:04 PM
I think the increased number of coins in the market create a good and bad effect on the crypto industry. Bad, because it creates confusion and most of these coins just disappear giving bad impression to the market and affecting also the reputation of other good coins. Good in the sense that the creation of these altcoins and their platform boost the development of the technology.
354  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Tired of waiting? on: February 12, 2019, 02:57:40 PM
If the bear market stays longer than expected will you take your leave and forget cryptocurrency ever existed? But the marketcap is getting larger and larger is that not enough to change your minds and stay?

When the market did not recover by the end of last year, I almost decided to sell everything and salvage whatever I can and permanently leave crypto. But somehow I stay and tried trading some crypto. Guess what, it was a very good decision because the cheap coin that I bought suddenly increased its market price sharply. SO I got big returns to my investment and decided to stay a little while in crypto. Gonna be a wait and see for me now.
355  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How to Choose better Bounty Projects? on: February 08, 2019, 04:00:42 PM
For me, sticking with bounty managers who have proven and good history about the projects they have managed in the past is a good sign to join the bounty campaign. I have been joining bounty campaigns of bounty managers which I have received rewards. So far I have had a good returns to my effort.
356  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Warnings for token hodlers on: February 08, 2019, 03:49:20 PM
We are in the final quarter of the year
Everyone should be at alert now, lots of projects will suddenly collapse, pump and dump, with plans to collect people's btc and ethereum and cash out money for the end of the year
Then they will run away and get away with funds.....

A word is enough for the wise

You got it right to what is happening and had happened to some of the crypto projects. Some started out as a scam and eventually run other people money after they have acquired the amount they wanted. Some started out as legitimate projects but due to the bearish market wasn't able to sustain the project and their project died down naturally. As a hodler you should be very vigilant in choosing the crypto you hold.
357  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I wanted to know if there is a hodler right here? on: February 07, 2019, 02:59:10 PM
Crypto keeps on the bearish pattern no matter what, if there is a hodler right here from 2017 until now, you should be appreciated and get an achievement because you are doing the right thing as a hodler! Being a hodler means you supporting the coin, didn't you?

Hodler right here. But not because I fully trust my tokens but because the market was so bearish that it is a bad strategy to sell. I am currently hodling a lot or crypto and waiting for any sign from the market to sell my assets. Hope it happens this year.
358  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Wallet that you trust? on: February 06, 2019, 03:34:21 PM
Which wallet do you consider for ERC-20 tokens and how safe is it?

Up until now, I am still using my MEW wallet which I have acquired during the time I started in cyprto. Fortunately, it has given me what I wanted in a crypto wallet. Trusted and somewhat secured. To add more security, I install MetaMask in my browser to filter unwanted transactions within my wallet. Still happy with the way it protect me so still gonna use it.
359  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I'm buying alts now on: February 06, 2019, 02:59:27 PM
Jus bought in alt coins. Mostly dapp coins. I have a bunch of them. And a little less in Bitcoin. At this point I can handle the losses of alts. Hopefully it doesnt go 160% losses.
Here's a few to list
Neo. Ada. Xlm. Bch. Eth. Skycoin. Strat. Lisk waves, nuls, gxchain, Komodo , etc, qtum, Tron , Eos . Ox, ontology, pivx , zilliqa, and metaverse etp.
Year 2019 will be another bear market? Hopefully not.

update
changing my alt coins. to eos, xlm, trx, eth, bch, bsv, waves, metaverse etp, skycoin, bnb, zil

That is quite a good number of coins in your holdings. I am currently also holding a good set of crypto, (most in the top 20 of coinmarketcap). The bearish market of last year thought me to be wise and invest only in cryptos which have sure long term potential. Like you I am also hoping that this year would be different and more positive for crypto.
360  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Reading Whitepapers on: February 06, 2019, 02:29:51 PM
reading whitepapers is a great source of information for new people to the cryptospace, alot of these concepts seem very not needed sometimes I recommend you new folks to read Mybit whitepaper it will definetely open your eyes to a few pockets of the blockchains usage with certain sectors of the cryptosphere.

Anybody else has a couple of informative whitepapers, that opened your eyes to a certain technology or undervalued market or just good information?
Im about to read deeponion's!

The project whitepapers would be an important tool for you to identify the potential and legitemacy of a project. So if you plan to invest in a coin or project it is important that this is available from the developer. It contains information essential to investors
