What should you do? Are you joking?
someone told him to stop now. But I don't think he will stop. I went somewhere and the people were mean. What do? Leave.

But who in this thread is asking for airflow?
I'm the previous owner just giving a tip.

Downgrade from 12.4 to 12.3 driver. 12.4 has a ULPS bug (ultra low power saving). Heck with those cards you'd be better off with 11.12 even and the older sdk 2.5.
That does work, thank you. I used 11.5 and SDK 2.6, cuz 2.5 is giving me error of openCL not identifying all the cards, will send the .5 btc. Enjoy. I just thought I'd let you know also that there is a simple way of spreading the cards apart so they have decent airflow. Cut out a piece of cardboard in a thin rectangle that runs the length of the metal screw tabs that would be held by screws if you screwed them into a case. Use four clips like these to angle the cards away from each other a little bit by clipping the metal tabs to the cardboard that runs the length of the cards.

The withdrawal according to my Mt. Gox account history was 2012/04/25 14:23:52 JST and my Dwolla account still hasn't been funded. I sent an email to the Mt. Gox support team this morning and haven't been answered.
I thought the system was automated so I'm in a bit of a hurry, so can someone tell me... Is this normal?

By reputation I mean good transactions. Do you have some forum transactions(loans, sells, etc), that you can post a link to?.
The only person here who I have done business with is edd. We've made a couple small transactions together.

I'd like to think I have a good reputation. I don't know how an escrow among strangers protects anyone, so I'd need to be convinced of it before doing an escrow.

I've never overclocked these so I'm just working with the figures I know for certain they can do.

Oh, I think I'm only going to do it as a package.

VGA's? Do you mean the plugs?

$900 OBO PSU is Cooler Master 1000 watt Motherboard is MSI 890FXA-GD70 XFX 5870 XFX 5850 XFX 6870 Visiontek 6870 It will also come with hard disk, fans, monitor (damaged, but works), keyboard, mouse, etc... and everything you need for a functioning mining rig. It is very stable as you can see here. http://eligius.st/~artefact2/7/13roSuwtMbCX8HZMGJ6j8sXLr7GnPYmREkThe dips are the result of my shared being purchased on GPUMax.

this is exactly why the price keeps dropping, when purchases are not running, miners are lowering the price to get work that is NOT there.
everyone, Please make sure there is a purchase running before testing lower prices!
How?
|
|
|
It isn't a price issue right now as rjk said...
I thought that Pirate said earlier that price is the result of some function and asking prices on miners' parts.

I think we all need to come to terms with the fact that when a pay per share pool is giving .00003337, we probably aren't going to find buyers at .000055, which is why I've lowered my asking price. Because the purchase price is still sitting at .000055 per share, I guess I'm the only one, and it is little wonder why people are unwilling to pay a 64% premium on a few minutes worth of 300 GH/s bragging rights.

I'll buy the candy. How much do you have to sell and how many BTC do you want for it?

Cool. I think I get it now.

Like, someone might say, "OK, prove that you own the address 1PBEkptWgC4JqmJjT8BrbG414H9X9ezgUW." No, it's the opposite. They can check if this message was created by you if they know that this is your address. How do they do this?
|
|

Can someone explain how to verify a signed message created by the new Bitcoin client? Is the idea that I can prove ownership of a wallet by pasting the encrypted message and giving out my address?
Like, someone might say, "OK, prove that you own the address 1PBEkptWgC4JqmJjT8BrbG414H9X9ezgUW."
And I respond with, "Here is proof... G4trPovqJNoMvk0NjdHkTyZG/piN5f12bFlS5NA9LhqyGJRZFbNuqMUw/wc3HUeiwgKV2WXuyk9JBAEL3CPTqOI=" which translates to "Yes. I do own this address. 1PBEkptWgC4JqmJjT8BrbG414H9X9ezgUW", but only if indeed I do own the address in question.
Do I have this right? Is this how it works?
If so, how does the person requesting verification actually do that?

In all honesty, while I am glad the event was held in San Antonio for personal reasons, next year, the effort would be better placed in Austin, only a few miles up the road. The culture there is radically different than San Antonio, and a few well placed stickers, fliers, and phone calls would do wonders on the UT campus alone. For something as esoteric as Bitcoin, getting even a couple people to attend has to be considered a success, but for the critical mass you're looking for, a single day event Austin is where its at.
