341  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: dash will reach 0.02 like Etherum..? on: March 27, 2016, 07:29:51 AM
I think dash can rach 0.02 like Etherum
dash is better than other coin The bestcoin

You mean this year right? (Dash has reached 0.02+ twice already in the past.)
I think the money is shifting to new crypto.

The Augur team doesn't like bitcointalk that much... If I remember right they did their crowdsale ann here... But hey whatever floats you boat I guess...

So please express your positive, negative feedback on reddit.

My work is done for now... to be continued.
343  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Lisk will fall like a rock! on: March 26, 2016, 07:20:18 AM
you have something wrong in your mind if you think this, the ico has settled a price and there is no going lower tahn that, it can only increase from that point, and we can talk about a dump after there will be a pump first

I seen you say that "there's no going lower than that" and I thought you can't definitely say that. Then I reread my post above and I said the same thing the other way. I was wrong too by stating it like that too. The is no definite. I just can't see in my mind it being pumped successfully with so many people crowding the exit door. We will see soon enough.

Another blantant Iota pumper. Check his previous attempts at pumping that iota scam ico in his post history.

I think I will start to compile a list of known iota pumping scammers on a new thread so we can be aware of what their real agenda is.

This anti lisk thread starts with iota and ethereum mentioned together. Oh really...

This amateur pumping spam is pathetic, you are making iota look more of a scam that it already appears to be.

If I were running iota I'd start having a word with the amateur pumpers blatantly trying to pump it using any and all means on the main board.

This comment below says it all...

" I just can't see in my mind it being pumped successfully"....not like iota hey...

Exactly LISK has a wide distribution. IOTA is an I Own Tons Assholes operation with a few people owning tons of coins which are not even released to exchanges or the free market and already these pumpers are out in force because they know this has created the idea situation to pump this coin which has already gone from 130sats to 3000-4000sats to people who fall for these pump tactics.

If you are going to try and pump your scam make sure to be more subtle in future. You are damaging iota not that it needs help.

Dude read the OP! Stay on topic! Save your Iota bashing for the designated threads, we are missing you there, come home!

4/20 will be the date, IOTA for smart-vaporizers

No honestly it depends on how many beta tests it. There is a direct connection between how much beta testing occurs and how fast IOTA will launch. GUI will come this coming week, which I predict will boost BETA testing several orders of magnitude.

Great stuff man, realy looking forward to it. Will the final genesis still be released in april?

Don't know if you have seen this yet, but I think it is inspiring. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sioZd3AxmnE

Iota rate : rising daily (constant)

500 Iota = 1 btc (coming soon to an exchange near u)

100 iota = 1 btc (coming sooner than u think at an exchange near you)

50 iota  = 1 btc ( ask yourself how do we know this to be a truth, we'll the moment of its arrival inevitable.

Current rate = irreverent to the "real truth of the matter"
With the crypto 2.o - 3.o projects + mainstream adoption + internet~of~things coming (iota @ the center of it with a shinning spotlight on it) as a  brand new technology Its Destine to become one of the most disruptive [ I coin the term "interceptive"] innovations in the 21st century.

It's obvious to only a select few of you (the gifted) with a extraordinary vision, to be able to see the writing on the wall.

Cfb has developed a tech that is awaking the crypto
Community to even somthg greater by design.
Major capital interest usually follows wheres there's real innovation is.. some still don't get it "the big deal"..
Ask yourself again "how long did it take major interest to notice iota innovation" [in no time]

I could be wrong normally & usually i am.
Be prepared for panic buying when new innovation. (Iota)
Arrives on the exchanges, maybe im getting ahead of myself & taking alot of risk by projecting ahead that

" Iota market cap can easily supercede Ethereum" & cause wave shock through the cypto market.

Iota future success seems to be promising

New innovation = major interest = news = market frenzy

Peer2peer36o

I also have a good feeling about Iota, I have from the beginning. I am not so technical, but I try to follow my gut feeling as much as possible. Because I believe that unconsious processes in the greatest computer in existance (our brain) usually stear us in the direction that is needed.

When the UI is released, and man am I looking forward to this, and the big deal is sealed, who knows what is going to happen...

I found this very inspiring (in general but also marketing standpoint), and I think Iota also has this approach and therefore will add to the Iot landscape.

Thanks for all your responses.

Since Augur is playing hide and seek on bitcointalk, I have posted on Reddit also.
https://www.reddit.com/r/Augur/comments/4bvpm1/augur_ui_looks_amateuristic_and_is_lagging/

Feel free to make a comment there.

I am seriously starting to doubt if the augur team can produce...

They ignore the people (investors) who made their venture possible in the firstplace, this is not a good sign...

I hope I'm wrong but it doesn't look good...

@Augur: Could you, pretty please with a cherry on top, respond and at least make the impression you care about your investors opinions?
349  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: IOTA on: March 24, 2016, 07:53:07 PM
Quote from: Forbes
Going forward from here, new technologies will be integrated into the platform, bringing their own unique advantages. One such development is IOTA, an ‘Internet-of-Things’ currency that takes a radically different approach to regular blockchain technology to deliver fee-free transactions as well as unprecedented scalability – both factors which are said to lend well to BitTeaser’s application.

“For obvious reasons, we’re very interested in using technologies like this. Costless micro-transactions are perfect for this kind of business model,” Boesing asserts.

Great stuff

The team has seen this thread and the feedback is being considered, it's just much easier for us to funnel feedback via select channels so please give us time to evaluate the feedback as development takes time.

What upsets me the most is the ambivalence regarding the design of the Augur team.

Are you realy not capable to see the website is total rubbish? Realy?

Sentences like: bla bla feedback considered bla bla, bla bla easier for us, bla bla take time are evasive behaviour.

I am telling you like it is, this is not good enough for the budget you have (or did you already blew it?). It looks like it cost 50 bucks and my mother in law made it (color sceme), and she has never worked on a computer before!

2 Questions for the Augur team:
Do you honestly think this site, as it is now, is one of the best multi million dollar gambling/ prediction sites on the internet? Yes or No (Please anwer this for the record, your community who invested millions in this project deserve to know don't you think?)

And what would you grade your site: from 1 (low score) to 10 (high score). This is not about what other people think but what YOU think.

For the record, this design would not have passed the first year at any art academy.

Please be honest to yourselves and the people that invested in your project.
People that are saying it looks great (in this thread there are zero) are blowing smoke up your ...

I realy hope for everyones sake this gets fixed or this project will be DOA.

To other Augur investors, please state your opinion positive or negative.

ps. @augurteam: could you reply a bit faster, 2 days..., not only your website is lagging ... (What's up with these enormous loading dots anyway?)

... I apologize for not staying more on top of this thread...

Hello anybody home at augur headquarters? SSSSSSTTTTTTTIIIIIIILLLLLLL LLLLLAAAAAAAGGGGGGGIIIIIIINNNNNNNGGGGGGGG...

352  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: POLL [IOTA ]- ICO 2 -Do YOU want to buy IOTA at a reasonable price? OR BIG SCAM? on: March 23, 2016, 07:02:25 PM
Butthurt. Trying so so hard with empty accusations. ICO was honest, it lasted enough, there was very informative site about it. I can't tell how many IOTAs were bought "in-house", but I do know there were big investors which came from aside.

Crypto-space is in big big expansion, no wonder there are investors which are easily gamble with 10s and 100s of Bitcoins, they are mostly early Bitcoin adopters. And right now, the space is thirsty for Bitcoin replacement because Bitcoin is so in turmoil I personally don't believe it will stay alive in long term. So people push their funds to any project with are having such a good appeal as IOTA is, no wonder ICO was pretty successful both in terms of how many people entered and how many they invested.

Also I don't see why NXT is a scam. I wasn't personally involved, but what we have here is pretty good looking and functional P2P system, fact there were too small number of initial investors doesn't make it a scam if the product delivered was good enough for price skyrocketing. But I'm not butthurt about it, if I look back I could've been billionaire with all the chances I missed but I never had such a strong urge to make empty accusations. Please come with something more persuading, like some real evidence, not that empty shit about how ICO was intentionally stealth. Actually, EVEN if it was intentionally stealth - that doesn't make it a scam!

"Actually, EVEN if it was intentionally stealth - that doesn't make it a scam!"

OH.. okay. So slowly the acceptance of it being stealth is creeping in.

Yes, it does make it a scam now that it is now stealth turns to pumping for 3000% profit.

That's like say an intentionally stealth POW release isn't a scam. It isn't a scam if you say we want all the coins so we can pump whilst we control all the supply a dump it on you for huge profits before releasing our next stealth release NXT 3.

Your just sad you didn't invest when you had the chance.
Make a note to yourself: Check altcoin ann thread at least once a week.   Cool

Stop trying to divert and make it all about me. It is a broader topic here concerning the ICO and ICO's  in general. If you have something to add with regards the points being made previously comparing well advertised and broadlty distributed vs small ICO with narrow distribution then feel free to make your point and compare them on the thread.

It should not be essential to check threads once a week or you miss the ICO. eth, maid, nem, lisk, even bitbay  all gave you the dates of the ICO well before and advertised a lot more previous and during. Resulting in a much broader distribution. This is the discussion not trying to diver that to a single experience of one person.

Keep to topic.

You are giving your personal opinion on how Ico's should be run, I'm just saying I have a different opinion and think you are sad you missed it.

356  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][LISK] Lisk | ICO | Decentralized Application & Sidechain Platform on: March 23, 2016, 01:45:23 PM
Guys let's talk dapps. Those are the products that can make Lisk jump over and above all other cryptos.

I was thinking about games, mobile games to be specific. Which kind of games would be made better due to them being a dapp instead of an app? The mobile gaming market is trilion dollar industry with their micro payments. If we can tap into that then a billion dollar market cap will be a breeze...

The Sports Betting Market is worth $1 Trillion +. Augur itself, via the REP IOU on Gatecoin, while over-valued is valued at $180 million.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/wires/afp/article-3040540/Global-sports-gambling-worth-3-trillion.html

However REP holders only receive 0.5-1% of all bets. I.e. $1 billion in bets is worth $10 million to REP holders. So the real winner will be the currency that gets that $1 Billion in betting volume  Wink  Cool

Lisk should announce they are using some of the funding for an Augur-Fork/PM Dapp and giving Lisk holders 50% of Lisk 'REP'.
The PM will use Lisk as the betting currency, (or Lisk will be used to collateralize a price stable USD)

This way Lisk holders now own 50% of a Lisk based Augur/PM type Dapp and Lisk holders will benefit from the betting volume as it becomes a contender in the trillion dollar betting market.  This should substantially increase the valuation of

I was thinking the same thing. If lisk can do this better and faster than augur, this could be huge. The augur team is choking on the UI, and homestead is nowhere to be found. This will be a race to create the best dapps.

So far I have following BCT forum people on my voting list:

PunkRock, Emerge, cannabanana, bigcabrito, nextgencrypto, cc001, bitseedmike, TheRedHawk, Splatters, Mrboot

Who else? Who wants my vote and will give me their vote?

I ran a Crypti node for $5/month at Vultr.com for many months and plan to start running a Lisk node next month, again at Vultr.

Your involvement already shown you would be a good delegate, so you have my vote.

Is there some kind of tutorial to setup a Lisknode at Vultr? I am interested in learning/ contributing by being a delegate if needed.

So what's next from here? ICO ended. AFAIK wallet will be launched in mid April, but till then what?

You can think of an interesting dapp in the meanwhile.

Just thinking out loud:

The delegates aspect is great! Crypto democracy, voting for the best candidates, candidates campaigning which is good for marketing, visability of Lisk.
Keeping people to actively participate.

- Do you guys think delegates should also be chosen by geographic location?
- And use different servers:( AWS is the biggest with Dash masternodes I think), maybe Lisk should use many different ones, to decentralize the most...
- Is the setup similar to a masternode setup?

I think if Lisk will get the ecosystem up and running faster than the competition (ethereum, augur, ...) it could be a game changer.
