341  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO is still legit? on: October 13, 2018, 10:14:00 PM
Here is lot of iCO. How i find legit ICO.
ICOs are still legit, but there is no total guaranteed way of knowing the legit ones. It all depends on the level of your own research and findings before drawing any form of inference that the ICO may be a good one.
342  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum will overtake Bitcoin on: October 13, 2018, 10:10:17 PM
In the following year ETH will overwtake BTC as the number 1 cryptocurrency. I would dump your bitcoin while despite everything you can.  Undecided
This is not possible. ETH cannot do it as it seems currently. ETH is struggling this period badly and even gasping for breath and as such there is no way it can overtake Bitcoin this coming year.
343  Economy / Economics / Re: Big institutional money has yet to enter the field. on: October 13, 2018, 10:07:57 PM
Huge amounts of money have yet to come in. I'm talking about pension funds, teacher retirement funds and large index funds. They're not in the realm of cryptography right now, but they're just around the corner. There are two reasons. First, there is a lack of hosting services to help them provide/buy/store passwords. Second, it's too unstable for them. That has turned most of the big money going into crypto into technology-focused venture funds and some family offices.
You have a very good point. But if we can put our hands together in crypto, we might see this large institutions coming in. What that means will be more investment funds and stable prices.
344  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should we Re-Brand Bitcoin? on: October 13, 2018, 10:04:24 PM
No! What rebranding are you talking about? Is it the name you want to rebrand? Or the golden coin symbol? Please let's not do things that will create confusion and make Bitcoin loose its swag.
345  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum is ICO king, Do you agree? on: October 12, 2018, 05:11:22 PM
When it comes to new start up projects, Ethereum is clearly the king. No other cryptocurrency blockchain has hosted as much projects as compared to Ethereum. And more projects are still coming to be hosted on it.
346  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency wallets: Can they be hacked?? on: October 12, 2018, 05:05:21 PM
I am very interested to know if cryptocurrency wallets like Bitcoin Core, NEON, Electrum can ever be hacked ?
There is no cryptocurrency wallet that is not hackable. It all depends on how well you can secure your wallets by taking all known security measures so as to protect your funds.
347  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: China Influences Cryptos, Like It or Not! on: October 12, 2018, 05:03:09 PM
Going by the huge population of China, they are supposed to have a huge influence on cryptocurrency. But when you look at the actual key countries in cryptocurrency in terms of acceptance and dominance, the Chinese are no where near the Koreans and the Japanese.
348  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Ethereum fail if Vitalik dies? on: October 12, 2018, 04:58:40 PM
As Vitalik himself rightfully pointed out, Ethereum will survive even without him. He is already planning to take a backseat and not to be fronted as the owner anymore. It therefore means that even if he dies, Ethereum will live on.
349  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin's High Volatility on: October 10, 2018, 11:56:24 PM
As far as i know bitcoin has a high volatility given the fact that it is in demand in the market but i did not expect hat it is so high that it can really go from 1-100 and 100-0.
I want your insights about this volatility of bitcoin.
The volatility of bitcoin is what everyone should be fully aware of even before investing your first cent in it. The market is a very volatile one and unpredictable.
350  Economy / Speculation / Re: What the price of Bitcoin will be reached in 2019? on: October 10, 2018, 11:54:32 PM
Today Bitcoin is about 6550 dollar and I think it will be 10 thousand dollar next year.
The 10000 dollar can still be a possibility this year and we may not have to wait till 2019. I expect to see a far greater price than that come 2019 when the market becomes more stable with new investors.
351  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Advice to all bounty hunters. on: October 06, 2018, 11:51:02 PM
Bounty hunters help to expose ICOs to crypto related audience to attract investors for the project. No matter how promising the project may be, if the ICO fails, the project won't see the light of the day. Bounty hunters are very important in ICOs. But there is one thing am not happy about bounty hunters. They usually dump their coins at any price the moment it is listed on an exchage which usually drops the price of the coin even below the ICO price putting the investors at a disadvantage. I want to advise the hunters to hold their bounty tokens for a while in order to maintain a good price for the coin. We shouldn't forget we are all stakeholders
Dumping is too common with bounty hunters. Some even leave the ICO social media groups as soon as they are paid their bounty tokens.
352  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sending in fake ID for KYC on: October 06, 2018, 11:49:05 PM
I just was brought up to speed on groups of people sending in fake/Photoshopped ID's by scanning public records to defeat the KYC process and it seemingly is very easy to do.  It appears that many people sent in fake documentation to the Bob's and Polymath KYC and had no hassles.  How do these companies verify people if all they have to go on is public information?  Did they even really check the ID's or were they simply collected the data?  How rampant do you think this is?  How many of us are complete fools for turning in our documents when others simply faked it.  Now they have our data and the people who faked it are still secure.

NOT FAIR.

I am not surprised of the success of those people who send in fake documents. After all, nothing is really been verified.
353  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Wallet hacking is it possible? on: October 06, 2018, 11:47:18 PM
Just like an account where one's fiat currencies are kept so also is wallet where digital assets or cryptocurrencies of crypto lovers are kept. Can the wallet be vulnerable to hacking and if possible how can that happen? If you have experienced it before, I want to learn from your experience.
You will never know until it happens to you. I know of a guy who lost all the tokens he has ever worked for in airdrops through hacking.
354  Economy / Economics / Re: Reason why other ban cryptocurrencies on: October 06, 2018, 11:45:35 PM
Those banning cryptocurrency for some perceived reason of illegal use to me do not have a real point or argument.
355  Economy / Economics / Re: Are fiat currencies necessary in the world? on: October 05, 2018, 09:49:46 PM
I believe the fiat currencies will be of continuous need. This is because Bitcoin cannot penetrate remote locations or places that are not yet civilized enough.
356  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How should i invest in altcoins on: October 04, 2018, 11:59:44 PM
There has recently been a lot of hype about altcoins and how they will grow in the future, how is investing in them optimum for good results. Altcoins like humaniq, LALA World, Wala are my main targets for the portfolio.
Your first step to altcoins investment can be through ICOs investment. Then you can later move on to trading in the altcoins by selecting approximate crypto-crypto pair. Alternatively, buy and hold for a long time.
357  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin ETF more likely to be approved but why price is going down? on: October 04, 2018, 11:57:34 PM
Now we have 2 SEC judges in favor or BTC ETF and 1 against, the market should have to give some signs of growth by now, we have a likely ETF approved and Bakkt soon, why does the price is going down? am I missing something?
I think we will soon start to see higher prices of Bitcoin once the news of possible ETF approval circulates properly. Besides, we still have about three months to the approval date.
358  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: LIKE IT OR NOT, BITCOIN IS AN INVESTMENT on: October 03, 2018, 03:00:44 PM
Please tell them. I just believe some people are not just honest with themselves let alone others. They keep lying that their main interest in Bitcoin is because they want to use it as just currency whereas they are actually looking to make profit investing in it.
359  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Waves Vs. Ethereum on: October 03, 2018, 02:56:32 PM
When it comes to comparison between this two major blockchain platforms, I tend not to really take side. Although Ethereum is currently having an upper hand over Waves and other platforms, there is a chance that others may close up on it in years to come.
360  Economy / Economics / Re: You cannot eat your cake and have it on: October 03, 2018, 02:40:29 PM
There is a popular saying that invest only what you can afford to loose. Some people are making the mistake of investing all their life savings into crypto and other ventures. Some people even went as far as borrowing money or even using their properties as collaterals to borrow money so as to invest into crypto. This is a wrong idea and it might cost you a lot.
Every investment has its risks. So consider the the risk involved by taking each step at a time and do not jump in once.
It is quite a pity that in spite of several warnings about this, so many people appeared to have turned deaf ears. They just can't here. They kept making same mistakes and continue to cry foul.
