4.  Bitcoin is on only DCE's: Bitcoin is actually on both DCE's and CE's so it's falsehood to say Bitcoin is only on DCE's
Excuse me!

Would you mind giving me a full phrase, term of DCE and CE, please.

I never knew these terms but my guess is you are talking about Centralized Exchanges and Decentralized Exchanges. Correct me if I am wrong but these types of exchange are abbreviated as CEX for Centralized Exchange and DEX for Decentralized Exchange.

Correct your abbreviations, CE and DCE if you are actually mentioning about CEX and DEX.

5.   Bitcoin isn't real money: like I said earlier, Bitcoin is considered legal tender in some countries and most stores and employee accepts Bitcoin as a mode of payment so Bitcoin is real money.
What is real money?

Even fiat currencies are not real money as they can be toilet papers some days. Digital numbers in your bank accounts are not real money too.
342  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: WHAT'S SPECIAL ABOUT THE UPCOMING BITCOIN HALVING 2024 on: November 05, 2023, 02:59:54 AM
Each Bitcoin Halving is unique, given the evolving context of the Bitcoin industry and global economics. However, the upcoming Bitcoin Halving in 2024 is expected to be especially interesting, Lets look at some of the things that make the upcoming Bitcoin Halving special

-ETFs and institutional interest
-Bitcoiner politicians
- Interest rate pivot
Bitcoin halvings are all set by Satoshi Nakamoto with Bitcoin source code. Two halvings will come to us after every 210,000 blocks that last about four years, a little bit longer or shorter depends on how 210,000 blocks found slower or faster than average block time of Bitcoin (10 minutes).

The key for Bitcoin growth is its adoption. With better, bigger adoption, Bitcoin will gain more interest in community and there will be bigger demand on Bitcoin. At the same time, total supply is not changed, it's always 21 million bitcoins. Circulating supply can be smaller with more bitcoins lost by careless people.

Basically with bigger demand, smaller available supply, its price on the market must increase with time. Bitcoin Spot ETFs, Institutional investors, politicians support Bitcoin, inflationary issues, etc. are different additional components for Bitcoin growth.
343  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: First buy Bitcoin as a newbie, good way to start. on: November 05, 2023, 02:48:30 AM
I know to lot of people, who may have invested money into the wrong investment platforms outside of Bitcoin but pirade themselves as Bitcoin investment may misunderstand the title of this thread, but that is the truth, and the best way to start your Bitcoin journey.
They are worrying about high price and high cost they have to pay to buy Bitcoin but they don't know they can buy any piece of Bitcoin like 0.5 BTC, 0.1 BTC or 0.01 BTC, even smaller.

After worrying too much, they end with altcoins that are cheaper and more promising in their eyes. Unfortunately they don't know or ignore fact that altcoins are more risky.

How many cryptocurrencies failed?
Only in 2021, more than 3000 altcoin projects failed and the number is much bigger if we count all years so far of cryptocurrency market.

Quote
I use myself as an example, be for I started to acquire knowledge about Bitcoin, I first bought some amount of Bitcoin and held it in my personal wallet, not an exchange wallet, and I had my wallet keys properly saved, and after that, I became more active innthe forum and reading comments and posts and doing other bitcoin related research,  and that made it easy for my to accumulate more bitcoin while studying, and this has helped me in much greater ways and I thought it could help others here, most especially newbies.
If you started your Bitcoin journey by storing your coin in a personal wallet, I assume by this you mean you used a non custodial wallet, it's good and you are actually very scarce case among many Bitcoin newbies.

I agree choosing a good wallet is key and very vital to secure your coins, your money and can help to increase your wealth too.
Everyone can choose a good Bitcoin wallet with criteria like: Open source, non custodial, coin control feature, Segwit, Tor support.

You can not.

A total Bitcoin private key is 10^77 and the total atoms in the universe is 10^80. Guessing, finding a Bitcoin private key is like finding an atom in the universe. It is impossible.

If you ask me, Eric Ten Hag is very lucky because he is not out of Macanhter United yet, to be honest, the performance of this coach was really bad in Mancnahter United and I was expecting to see Manchester United getting him fired just after the game they had against Newcastle because compared to their performance in the last season, Ten Hag was very disappointing and even the Newcastle fans were humiliating him after the result he got they said him you are going to get fired even before the sunrise.
Erik Ten Hag is more lucky than previous coaches of Manchester United since Sir. Alex Ferguson's retirement.

List of Manchester United's managers. From Moyes, Giggs, Van Gaal, Mourinho, Solskjær, Carrick, Rangnick, none of those coaches got big support and patience like Ten Hag has been receiving in two latest seasons. Some coaches got the club support with budget for player transfer but the club board members many times refused to satisfy previous coaches' transfer requests. They did not get approval to buy players they liked and thought are actually helpful for the club. Previous coaches also did not get support to handle arrogant behavior of their star players.

Ten Hag had all of such supports so if he fails with given tasks to improve the club, he really deserved to be sacked by Manchester United. Maybe this season ending will decide he will stay in Old Trafford or will be sacked.
347  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: November 02, 2023, 08:32:52 AM
Jude Bellingham is a young player and they can easily change his role in Real Madrid, since he has good attacking skills in Real Madrid, there is a chance for Real Madrid and Ancelotti to use this player as a forward because this player has amazing skills in finishing the balls in the opportunities he gets during the game.
It will be a very big change in career of Jude Bellingham if he is officially used as a forward. So far, he scored many goals for Real Madrid but he did it as an attacking midfielder with more request from his coach to invade into the box of opponent. Playing as a forward player is a very big change as it will require Jude Bellingham with some different skills. I am not sure he is already for this change right now. If Ancelotti plans to do this change, he has to use Bellingham there during a match when Real Madrid already get big advantage against their opponent and see how Jude performs in that position.

Quote
However, even as an attacking midfielder, he scored many goals for his team so far, and there is a higher chance for this player to be the top scorer at the end of this season.
I know he has very amazing goal scoring ability and with 10 goals so far, he will like to end in top ten scorer of La Liga in this season as scoring about 5 more goals in rest of season is not too difficult for him, if he won't get injuries.
348  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How Replace-By-Fee (RBF) an Child-Pays-For-Parent (CPFP) can speed up confirmati on: November 02, 2023, 08:19:32 AM
Good writeup. I would also include that replace by fee can only be done with the inputs (sending address) and child pays for parent can only be done by one of the outputs (receiving addresses).
[TUTORIAL] getting a low-fee transaction unstuck by creating a CPFP with electrum

Quote
Both are really powerful functions and I use them all the time. Sparrow Wallet supports both of them which is one of the many reasons why it is the only desktop wallet that I ever recommend to anyone.
To avoid inconvenience from Child Pay For Parents, because you won't always have access to private keys or receiving address, you must always tick on Replace-by-Fee in your non custodial wallet. Default, wallet software turns it on but make sure you check it is on or off. If you turned it off in the past, forgot about it, you might have trouble in future.
349  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin Still A P2P Electronic Cash System ?. on: November 02, 2023, 02:21:58 AM
People consider Bitcoin an investment just because it is too early in its adoption for it to be used as a currency. The natural progression of an opt-in global currency like this that goes from 1 person to global adoption is: get rich quick scheme -> high growth investment -> store of value / savings -> transactional currency.
I don't need Bitcoin to be legal tender or to be officially accepted as a currency to use it.

I can use it secretly without any allowance from governments and central banks but it is better if I use it in a nation where Bitcoin is legal or at least alega. Using Bitcoin in a country where Bitcoin is illegal is risky and if I use it there, I must have some knowledge and skills to hide my identity from the public as well as government and banks.

https://coin.dance/poli/legality

Most of nations globally don't consider Bitcoin as Illegal so it is globally safe to use bitcoin.

We can use no KYC exchanges too even in nations where Bitcoin is legal tender or legal, alegal.

350  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The blackRock Bitcoin ETF on: November 02, 2023, 01:30:11 AM
Yes, it does make sense. For those who are focused-minded investors and don't want to invest directly in Bitcoin but want to take advantage of the volatility, the Bitcoin ETF is for them. They buy contracts instead of real Bitcoin on the chain. So they don't need to maintain their wallet. Therefore, ETFs are a hassle-free investment for them. However, ETF FOMO injects a lot of funds into the Bitcoin market, hence the green chart. Also, Bitcoin EFT is introducing Bitcoin to a lot of investors. So this is positive, of course.
It's their money, it's their choice and if their choices can benefit Bitcoin market, I appreciate it.

Though it is good for Bitcoin market in general and in long term too, I hope that customers of those big companies will gain profit too and those companies will not have bankruptcies in future. Because those companies use their customer money to invests in many assets and in future, soon we will see them invest in Bitcoin through Bitcoin Spot ETFs in USA.

Not your keys, not your coins. Although it's ok if those big companies with big AUM don't mind about it, their customers must know about that risk and consider to buy bitcoin and store it by themselves.

Q&A: Not your keys, not your coins
351  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The most risky adventure you must avoid on: November 02, 2023, 01:24:06 AM
This is why its really that important that on the time that  you do make some errors or mistake then try out to make yourself that be able to learn from those things so that in next time then you wont really be that finding yourself to be in huge trouble which we know that it isnt something that we do really like to happen in our lives.
Risk and capital management is very important. Risk always exists in all areas, aspects in life and we can not exclude risk in our life, from any decision. However if we don't take risk into consideration for our capital management and don't have proper capital allocation for our decisions, we can do something like Using all capital for a single decision. At the end, if that single decision ends with a failure, we will lose most or all capital and with almost empty hands left after that, how we can learn from lessons and restart?

Quote
Each person does have their own takings and decisions on how things should really be that handled knowing on different life situations and conditions on which we know that it would really
Each person has very different and unique taste of risk acceptance, wealth target, greediness and more factors but to continue living well after any decision, we must have plan B or more and have savings to live with it in worst scenario like lose jobs, unemployed, investment failed.
352  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: November 01, 2023, 05:21:02 AM
I know there are 28 matches remaining before the league ended but i am quite pesimistic Chelsea and Manchester United will be able to entering European zone especially Manchester United have already lose 5 times and Chelsea also still hard struggle to entering top 10 and for Chelsea their performance were very unpredictable and it's hard to predict their matches results because for each matches Chelsea performance was very unstable
Some people doubt Chelsea and Manchester United will finish at top 5 even so with me besides they still unable to find their consistency other teams such as Liverpool, Aston Villa, Newcastle and Liverpool had same target just like them and the performance of these teams is much better than them
They still have time but they could not play well in their first 10 matches and no guarantee that they will play better in rest 28 matches in Premier League. This season sees a growth of Tottenham Hotspur while Arsenal and Newcastle United still maintain their good performances. If Manchester United and Chelsea won't improve themselves soon, they will fall too deep on the table and it's hard for them to enter Top four months later.

We should not forget Liverpool are coming back to not only top area of Premier League but also are actually fighting for the league title. So let me count some clubs that are playing well and competitors for top four: Manchester City, Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur, Liverpool and Newcastle United. There are five clubs already and if we count Manchester United and Chelsea, there will be at least seven clubs in this race, just only to top four.
353  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will be the feature of Bitcoin? on: November 01, 2023, 04:38:34 AM
For my own opinion as Bitcoin becomes more widely used, it will bekre secure and safe for user information privacy. I think scalability will be more focus because can only handle limited transaction per second.
Everything can be improved in future, with upgrades of Bitcoin Protocol but something you have to know.

People must use their Bitcoin inputs, outputs well to secure their privacy. It is their responsibility, not Bitcoin. Their practice decides protection on their privacy and anonymity.

Scalability can be voted and protocol can be upgraded but you have to know Bitcoin Cash had bigger block than Bitcoin but people less favorite to use Bitcoin Cash blockchain. They actually prefer Bitcoin blockchain, that is more secure, stronger to be against 51% attacks.

https://howmanyconfs.com/

With 6 Bitcoin blocks, you will need like 860 Bitcoin Cash blocks that need about 6 days, to have similar security. Do you want to choose BCH?
354  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How Replace-By-Fee (RBF) an Child-Pays-For-Parent (CPFP) can speed up confirmati on: November 01, 2023, 02:03:08 AM
This was the first time I made this kind of transaction. Just googled about it and found this topic.

Very easy and straightforward in Electrum, just as odolvlobo mentioned.

Just right click on the unconfirmed transaction and choose increase fee. The old transaction simple disappeared.
I am very surprised that you did not use this RBF (Increase fee/ Bump fee) after many years. You had to understand about Bitcoin mempools very well that I know you did. But you also have to very lucky that mempools never sudden increase after you broadcast your transaction and you also have good patience to wait for confirmation in such situations of mempool sudden increase.

I did not see you mention in your post and screenshot and I assume you did not know about it.

In Electrum wallet, when you click on Increase fee, you will have to choose to deduct the bump fee from a transaction value or don't deduct it. If in your initial transaction broadcast, you use all coin in your wallet, you will see an error. I am not have any pending transaction at the moment and I don't remember exact descriptions for two options. Preserved payment and another option.

My Bitcoin transaction is not confirming, what can I do?
355  Economy / Gambling / Re: BC.Game-🔴🔴🔴BET RED IN CRASH!🔴🔴🔴 Find More Unique Games! on: November 01, 2023, 12:55:17 AM
From what I see they won't look into your case anymore, this becomes more confirmed because OP has been on the forum and hasn't responded to your complaints
You are right that BC.Game's representative is actively with log in but did not make any reply in Bitcointalk recent weeks. They no longer reply on any accusation includes this case. I can not know they are right and accusations against them are valid or not but with their latest activities, at least they no longer care about those cases. Maybe in their vision, they already considered those cases as Closed / Solved.

Quote
I hope you forget about them, so you can at least rest, wasting your time with this casino will not solve your case, for them the case is closed and they will not go back on the decisions they make.
I see the user has habit to try using many casinos and after a while, with some withdrawals, he got troubles and not all cases he received all money back. I don't know why he would prefer to take so much risk this way. If he has good gambling skills, he can win on big and trusted casinos and will not have withdrawal problems.
356  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Securing your Bitcoin talk account on: October 31, 2023, 10:48:29 AM
But about signing a bitcoin address, I don't understand how to do it. Looks like I have to learn to do it.
It's good to start learning.

Signing a message with your Bitcoin private key is a good practice and it can give a proof of account ownership that you might need to recover your account when it gets hacked.

The bottom line is, to sign a Bitcoin message, you need to have a private key. To have a private key, you must use a non custodial wallet that is good to keep your bitcoin safely too. If you use a custodial wallet like centralized exchange wallet (account), you don't have a Bitcoin private key. Don't have a private key means you don't own bitcoin.
357  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to detect a scammer with grabify.link on: October 31, 2023, 02:08:28 AM
This is definitely a decent way of gaining information about a scammer. But after you get his/her IP address, what now? What's your proposed next step?

Also, this will mostly work on inexperienced script kiddies. A decent scammer will most likely use IP-masking software.
If I am not scammed but I know he is a scammer, I block him.

If I am not a White-hat hacker, a security expert, I have no interest to keep tracing a scammer. Because like your point, I can not do anything with a scammer and a professional scammer knows to mask his IP address with VPS or Tor and with my limited skills, I can not break down traces, connect dots from that scammer history on Internet.
358  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: October 31, 2023, 01:14:49 AM
One would easily think with the absence of Harry Kane, Tottenham would do worse, but in reality, they seemed to have fired up their average and performance to more than compensate for missing Harry.
It is reasonable thinking because Harry Kane is their main striker, a source of goals, assists and mediocre for their team in many seasons. It makes sense to think his departure and absence in the team will cause serious problems for Tottenham. Fortunately, they still have Son who has been replacing Harry Kane very well as their main scorer. In addition, they also bought James Madison from Leicester City who plays a play-maker for Tottenham and somewhat also replaces Harry Kane with his vision and great passes.

Tottenham Hotspur's remarkable performance has dispelled the doubts of their fans who depend on Harry Kane for favorable outcomes. Everything has transformed at the moment, with Son Heung-Min in the picture, this time as captain and leading his club to triumph. Tottenham's performance has improved as a result of Harry Kane's transfer to a Bundesliga team; they are currently ranked first in the EPL table.
Totenham were both smart to buy Son from Hamburg many seasons ago and they are also lucky to have a very talented but professional player like the Korean player. He is good with team working and so professional in taking care of his body as well as always plays with high ambition. The Asian player is good with two legs so that he can make great finishes with both legs without big differences.

Quote
Angelos Postecoglou is having one of his best months as Spurs head coach, having won the MOTM award twice in a row, and the Spurs possess additional records to break this season.
I did not know about Postegoglu before he came to Tottenham and made a great surprise with them so far. What the coach is achieving even more impressive than what Claudio Ranieri did with Leicester City many seasons ago. At least Claudio already managed some big clubs before he won Premier League with Leicester City.

At present, Chelsea and Man UTD are having the same problem in terms of owners; they are desperate to get titles and any coach that takes on the managerial role is supposed to do that with a flick of the wrist. It's not everyone who is gifted with the Midas touch like Pep or Mourinho and as such will need to be given time. In Erik's case, he manages Man UTD like he did Ajax and the two clubs can't be compared because Man UTD is a far bigger club than Ajax and the players there ought to be treated with respect. Another problem affecting the club is they aren't working as a unit and Erik has a big role to play in that.
Manchester United looked to escaped their crisis in the last season but again, they show that they are still fluctuating between good and bad performances, good and bad season. At least I think they have better conditions than Chelsea that are in very big crisis and will need more time than Manchester United to come back to top four of Premier League.

Manchester United changed their strategy and decided to put their belief on Ten Hag but maybe they will need to give him more patience as well as bet that he will make his good job for the club.
359  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to detect a scammer with grabify.link on: October 31, 2023, 01:00:58 AM
Is what you are doing good, smartly and safely?

Seriously think about it please!

I don't see trying to interact with a scammer is a good choice. If you are not a security expert, you should never do this. Because the scammer might be smarter than you, have deeper security knowledge than you and by interacting with a scammer, your device can be infected. You never knows what the scammer tries to trap you but when you know it, maybe you already have to bear serious consequences.

If I feel a person I am communicating with is a scammer, I left the conversation, erase the history and block it.
360  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Whether Bitcoin ETFs are approved or not, we expect bullish trend on: October 30, 2023, 02:09:57 PM
Bitcoin could still rise in price and reach new ATH even without an ETF, but underestimating ETFs and their impact would be a mistake. Last week we had fake news about an ETF being approved and bitcoin also reacted quite well, and in the past week with some positive news related to ETFs, the market is very bullish. So I think if an ETF is actually approved, it will have a huge impact on bitcoin and the market. I believe we will even enter a bull season before the halving if the ETF is approved soon.
Bitcoin can rise with news and its big bull run comes with its halving around which we have many news to help it rising seriously. But growth can be organic or just manipulation and we will see organic growth not with all time highs, yearly max price but we actually see it better with Yearly min (lowest) price.

Because lowest price of each year will be representative price of most hardest time for Bitcoin market within a single year. If it shows an upward trend, it is organic.

I can not disagree that Bitcoin Spot ETF is important but Bitcoin will still grow up without Bitcoin Spot ETF.
