Could the bears be so kind as to get it over with? be hairy and manly, this creeping downwards is bloody boring!
They want to dump the coins without crashing the price.

I think is imposible 100satoshi = $1. Because now is easy earn bitcoin
If 10% of world population want to own 1 bitcoin, it will be $1m. But it will not happen soon.

As long as the world economic growing is built on debt there will always be inflationary fiat money like the USDollar. But Bitcoin and cryptocoins in common can coexists and offer a stable and secure alternative for people.
In this scenario, the value of bitcoin will increase against USD.

Where do you change the mining algorithm to say qubit or something else?

It is the largest PoS coin now.

The polices have done things much worse than selling stolen bitcoin mining equipment.

Greek will not adopt bitcoin. You have to work to earn bitcoin, it cannot be printed.

Satoshi was a visonary and he was sure that Bitcoin will last for long time, I can quote one of his quotes
"Aug. 5, 2010: While I don’t think Bitcoin is practical for smaller micropayments right now, it will eventually be as storage and bandwidth costs continue to fall. … Whatever size micropayments you need will eventually be practical. I think in 5 or 10 years, the bandwidth and storage will seem trivial."
He was certainly not an accurate visionary on the 5-year timescale. The storage and bandwidth requirements needed to use Bitcoin for micropayments do not seem trivial. Even in 10 years (4 from now) that seems doubtful. Maybe 10-15 years from now, storage and bandwidth will be trivial. However, bitcoin will be so popular then, it needs more storage and bandwidth.

The price of bitcoin is quite steady recently. It is good for long term.

If it does happen, I will keep thinking of all the transaction fees that I paid to get my transaction processed. ![Tongue](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/tongue.gif) No worries. If it does happen, the transaction fees will be 0.00000001. If not enough, we can add more 0 in front.

Bitcoin will coexist with other fiats in the foreseeable future.

I think yes, a 21% instamine is ridiculous. It gives a bad name to BTC.
I would want to give them to Mark Zuckerberg and have him distribute them on facebook.
Any thing (coins) you do not own or know previously is a instamine? Those coins were mined for very long time.

The services for bitcoin should be regulated, but not the coin itself.

I am wondering, what exactly they can do in this crypto zoo, they couldn't do directly with Bitcoin. It's all in the open, open ledger, open source, and it would be much cheaper to buy some BTC to play around with, than making a own cryptocurrency.
They can a few internal nodes and experiment with their own altcoin. It is not too expensive. In the meanwhile, they can attack/destroy some altcoins and we will not know it is their work.

Well we can only think, and we wouldn't possibly be close to the truth. The thing is we don't know who Satoshi is, nor what kind of person he is. I do however think that he is satisfied on how his life work has turned out. He probably didn't expect it to grow this much.
I have the impression that bitcoin grows faster than internet in the first 5-6 years.

If you just buy 1-5 bitcoins and you can afford the loss the all the fiat, then it is a good idea to buy.
