I forgot to mention yesterday for transparency,  3134.34562043 EGC was donated via direct donation or Staking for Charity. The EverGreenCoin Foundation purchased those at $0.06 (yesterday's median price) each for a total of $188.06 and another $145 came from a raffle James did in his community, which is within the French Valley of PA. The winner of that raffle donated his winnings to back to the cause. This is how we came to the total of $333.06 for the donation that was matched dollar-for-dollar.

To this point, these funds are for trash bags, buckets, and safety equipment such as gloves. However they do have plans for a much, much bigger effort that may involve a dumpster being brought into or near a swamp area. I only learned of this ambition this morning actually. Myself and James will report more details of that plan in the future, after plans are better devised and outlined. Do expect that in the near future.

I personally would not only like to see EGC supporting similar efforts across my country, but all our globe. I encourage and invite community members that do or plan to do similar to reach out. We will happily support you in any way we can.

To your IOS point, we did roadmap an IOS app for 2018, as you may very well know. I will be honest, the roadmap was made when markets were very bullish, there was more community involvement, board members had not abandoned (with some projects funding, mind you), and personal constraints were not as great. All of this has stretched milestones out much farther than hoped. But never have we stopped striving. Unexpected very large legal compliance costs and tiresome trademark battles also were unexpected, consuming limited resources of both man-hours and finance. Sometimes milestones are not the highest priority. That said, we still very well can hit this IOS mark in 2018. No, we have not abandoned this nor any plan, it is just not going as well as we had hoped. But please do not misinterpret that as a lack of effort or a willingness to reach any goal. I assure you, many are working very diligently on many aspects of the EGC ecosystem despite the markets and all the many other unexpected hurdles. But be assured, much like preserving our nature, our work is never done. Yet we diligently persist and strive for a end that truly does not exist. We can never preserve our environment "enough." We can never develop the EGC ecosystem "enough."

Hi again everyone, I just want you to know that my mother is going to be ok! She was getting a bit loopy but, that was just in reaction to some other correctable conditions (stress, UTI, fungal infection, very big life changes, all of which caused poor nutrition, sleep, and hygiene).  We now know what is needed to alleviate her conditions and the confusion it brought on. Fortunately it is nothing long term.  

I do not try to get too personal here on BCT, but please take care of yourself, exercise, eat healthy, and perhaps take a multivitamin. Also try to motivate others around you to do the same, especially the elderly.

It does appear this snapshot is up to block 1096524.

I will be conducting some tests with this snapshot, and perhaps others, on Pi(s) this evening. We will be able to compare findings soon in our discord. At this time, I can confirm the snapshot does not stall / become stuck on Windows or Ubuntu, as mentioned in discord. I did just now confirm again. I do suspect the issue is isolated to Pi or otherwise. But we should know more soon. It does appear the version and libraries used must be compatible. But if you can confirm that info, George5, it would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

EDIT (next evening / early morning): We discussed with George and tested other snapshots. It is not George's snapshot along that has issues. We have narrowed it down to some architecture related problem of x86 v/s ARM. We are attempting to test ARM generated snapshots to see if the issue will be removed. Initial tests are promising but, some test will be carried on through the night and then next morning.

EDIT 2 (morning after): Snapshots generated on ARM will work on other ARM devices without becoming stuck. Solution found. Though the precise culprit is unknown, but steams from the architecture.

I see no contradictions, other than yours. The Russian translator was asked to update their translation long ago. There is no way to force them to keep their word.

The coin and community has grown a great deal and continues to daily. If you can't see that, you must only fixate on price and do not comprehend our mission. Sorry for that.

Yes, I know. It is getting a bit ridiculous.

We had this discussion in discord a week or more ago. My fear is that if some newcomer to EverGreenCoin or the crypto space finds our thread and sees seemingly ignored posts, they may get the impression that some comments, opinions, or even critiques are not listened to wholeheartedly or are even taken for granted. In turn, they themselves might not feel as inclined to voice something, thinking it may be ignored also.

I take community engagement very, very seriously. Community is why this project can, does, and will continue to thrive. Without it, it is nothing and will accomplish nothing. Continually nurturing that is of the utmost importance. This is why the incorporation is structured the way it is with an open board membership. This is why I am so public, transparent, honest, and go through much effort to make communication to me so easy and on any communication medium one might prefer. This is why I spend every Saturday afternoon in an open Google Hangout for hours on end. EverGreenCoin has an open door policy. I do want that known by all who might stumble upon this thread.

Please know, if you are reading this thread, your opinion matters a great deal. I am very shy by nature and sometimes need to bite my tongue, but every post is read, heard, understood, and does impact future decision-making and direction. I greatly, very greatly, appreciate every hand, mind, heart, and soul that makes EverGreenCoin the amazing project it has become. I absolutely must go through every effort to ensure the door is always open for the next amazing things we will accomplish, for I cannot wait to greet them there.
