341  Economy / Economics / Re: About world crisis and criptocurrency on: November 08, 2017, 05:07:46 PM

The world crisis ? Well obviously bitcoin is the part of world and it will go down in the next minute. The reason is simple, due to crisis situation people will always want to have the savings or backing up some money in the secret pot of theirs, which they can get from the bitcoin sell. So there will be first thing which will cause the bitcoin to drop in market cap and that would be world going down in the market cap itself. That would be really drastic changes in the bitcoin and whole crypto community. And no we won’t be able to use it as back up source because it will be devaluated in the next minute of crisis.

Yes obviously when the world market and the economy encounters crisis, then it is expected that cryptocurrencies and other digital currencies will surely go down in moment or maybe for a long time, depending on the situation that maybe could recover the proce for a little bit, but nothing else is for sure, because as what you have said nobody or maybe few will use it for their back up resources, and instead use fiats to survive rather than digital.
342  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to get free Segwit2x for BTC holders on: November 08, 2017, 04:28:53 PM
Yes. As long as you exclusively control the private keys of the wallet you are using, you can at anytime import those private keys to a B2X wallet and claim your B2X.
Which trading platform are you using? I know Bittrex stated yesterday that they will be crediting their users with B2X when the fork occurs.

Well nice hearing that news, and thanks by the way for the information. Yes you should probably secure your private keys for this coming fork, and aside from that you can have a part from it once you deposited to some exchanges also that supports this upcoming segwit, it might be risky but anyway just try.
343  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why people attract for the BitCoin than other crypto currency? on: November 08, 2017, 04:16:24 PM
because other "cryto currency" also known as altcoins are not known to anyone outside of the bitcoin circles. whenever the media is talking about crypto currency they are talking about bitcoin!

additionally the altcoins are mostly pretty terrible. they are made to be pumped and dumped so they are not really something people are interested in.
bitcoin on the other hand is a real currency which you can actually use to buy stuff with either online of offline and that will always give it an edge. not to mention all the attention that is going to bring for bitcoin.

Precisely that's the main point why bitcoin is a much better choice than altcoins. On the other hand, altcoins can also be an alternate way to earn, and that is what we commonly called trading, but in the end it is still traded in exchange to bitcoin, so in that process bitcoin is really the most wanted cryptocurrency of all times.
344  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Waves??? on: November 08, 2017, 04:00:00 PM
Has all the positive aspects to invest
I think the future is bright
And i will bet it's in the best 3

Well there is a great possibility that waves platform will boom in the future, but as of now we can even see that waves is a bit underrated i guess, and for now its not that popular in terms of usage. Maybe this is not the time yet for waves but eventually i have high hopes for waves for it.
345  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin price behind ethereum price value in the future! on: November 08, 2017, 02:24:42 PM

There is no guarante about that my friend, and besides there is no assurance that eth could really outplay bitcoin in the future, but it has a slight chance that it will be, so if ever in would be asked, its better to keep both rather than choosing one over another.
346  Economy / Economics / Re: Why is bitcoin better than stocks, real-estate? on: October 31, 2017, 03:56:10 PM
Bitcoin is not better. Bitcoin now used for the same purpose. But the return on investment in bitcoin is far higher. I think that it will not always. Perhaps in the future these assets will be equal in yield and then will be quite another matter. Now is the primitive accumulation of capital and it can take yield is not subject to any logic.

Yes i certainly believe it does. For some popular business personalities, they suggested to put some amounts over real estate investments which is also good for long term purposes. It doesn't mean you have to quit already in bitcoin, but as the saying goes, don't settle for single source of income, and i guess it seems to be true.
347  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Where to invest bitcoin? on: October 31, 2017, 03:03:33 PM
I have two bitcoins
i need to invest them
I'm looking for where to invest
Any recommendation

if i were you, i only use 0.7 btc to trading and save the rest of the btc and waiting the higher price at $10k or other high price. i think with 0.7 btc, we can increase the amount with choosing the right coins and make the profit. with 0.7 btc, i can choose more than 5 coins right now because the coins is still in lower price so i am sure that soon the altcoin price will be increase again. we can use the rest of btc as our long investment and not selling if the price is not increase for the price we want.

I would not randomly suggest someone to trade man. Have you tried trading yourself? On one hand it is easy, but if you do not know what you are doing then you are asking to lose your money. 0.7 Bitcoin is A LOT these days. It is nothing to play around with. I suggest keep it in cold storage for safe keeping and you will be glad you did in a few years.

For long term purposes i guess its quiet efficient way and most effective way to get profits in the long run. It is also best that you should store your money first before doing some trades like altcoin tradings, you also need to realize that you should have knew what you were doing, or instead accept the fact that you will just throw away your money.
348  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Should I try to win back my loss? on: October 31, 2017, 02:35:47 PM
Yes, no one should ever give up anything or any losses without any fight - good fight. but before you fight back, please study this forum, change your investment policies and strick back Smiley
Gambling is not a fight and if it is a fight what are some of the things that you will have to do in order to win, With gambling it's all about luck and nothing, if it didn't go well for you, then try the next day but don't come with the mindset that you are going to recoup your losses, you will end up losing everything in the end.

But many addicted gamblers believe that with different strategies and with bankroll management they can beat the house and make easy money. This is the main reason gamblers lose more and more money in gambling. I think even gambling every day is not a good thing to do because you may slowly addict to gambling so you should come back only after few days to try your luck but definitely not to get back your losses.

they can beat the house if they are not greedy and leave when they got profit.

what if they don't turn in profit from the beginning but start with losses. I think you should just know when to stop and it could either be when you're loosing or when you're winning. Jyust figure out when and don't waste money on trying to recoup lost money.

As much as i agree with you, it will just turn out eventually you will just be addicted into coping up from your losses, it doesn't also mean you really need to cope it up, and besides the houses are always made for the win. Only luck can be helpful for you, and there is no sure that you'll get struck by luck the moment you played, you will only know the results when its done.
349  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin legitimate or illegal? on: October 31, 2017, 02:16:57 PM
In my country I have not officially launched bitcoin currency, but there are cities in my country that use bitcoin as payment like buying drinks, food, clothes etc. And it's obviously bright not to hide so what do you think?
Bitcoin here in my country is become popular here, and because of that theres a lot of us know and some of them use it to have addtional income, but our government is not yet considered it as legit, because they know that many criminal used bitcoin for their illegal activities.
Bitcoin here in my country isn't that popular enough compare to Japan and south Korea. Here it was known by few who are their curiosity leads them to this kind of trading and I'm glad I'm one of them. And yes it isn't that popular enough and I think I considered it as illegal for now that our government also didn't recognize it yet due to may factors that it may turn out. Even though I seen a news from our national television that they taught it was a scam I didn't bother to believe to what I've head and seen because i still believeon bitcoin no matter what.

It is so sad for you, well anyways it doesn't matter, time will only knows what is going to happen in bitcoin. Although lot of speculations that it has a high potential to be successful and be used in the future, there is no guarantee what will happen, it is possible also that it will turn into the opposite, and no one knows about it exactly.
350  Local / Pilipinas / Re: May bayad ba ang pagte-trade? on: October 31, 2017, 12:47:32 PM

For your question OP, OO merong bayad. As usual its just like buy and sell method, buy low sell high lang ang strategy mo, you will risk your money to buy something good, and then sell it when its price gets high, yan ang basic definition ng trading.
351  Economy / Economics / Re: Writing on money might be illegal in USA on: October 31, 2017, 08:55:06 AM
I don't live in the US but I have always though that it is illegal to vandalize fiat everywhere. Seriously, I get annoyed when I find bills with phone number on them. This is not like the movies b****s. You're not in Serendipity.  Grin

And it's supposed not to be fold, but sad to say, many people in my country fold the paper money and sometimes people squeeze it so much that it looks so bad.

Sadly but that is also what i have noticed in my country. I don't even think that it is illegal anyway, well there are some who doesn't accept folded or those paper money that already looks like a tissue paper, but still most of them are being used as a currency, and i am not also sure if the banks are still accepting it.
352  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you make money if bitcoin/altcoin prices keep falling? on: October 30, 2017, 06:01:26 AM
In crypto trading we need to keep calm and control our emotions to earn even if such disaster happens.
It is quite simple that when i get to know that price is going to fall rapidly I sell my coins at that moment and wait for the perfect time to buy it again at low price, this is what we can do when the price is falling down continuously.

At least it is the best way to do at the moment the price begins to drop, and most importantly keep your balls as hard as you can and control your emotion not to interfere in terms of bad situation happens, but in some instances there are also cases that you cannot really predict what's going to happen next, sometimes it will just fall for a short time and then it will be skyrocketing immediately.
353  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Cash Raising! on: October 29, 2017, 01:50:46 PM
Hi,
What is going on with Bitcoin Cash?!
Why is it raising so fast in the last 2 weeks?!
Do you think it's a good decision to invest in Bitcoin Cash right now?

Honestly I cannot say that I know the reason for the price increase but I would avoid buying it right now unless you discover some extraordinary reason for the price increase. It is said you should always buy low and sell high and right now bitcoin cash seems to be high.

I think you got a point my friend, and for if you are just buying it because you feel like its going to skyrocket because of the current movement, there is also a big tendency that you will lose big when it will begin to drop prices so it is better for now to think carefully, or if you are willing to risk then why not.
354  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Longest time for bitcoin to enter your wallet? on: October 29, 2017, 10:22:49 AM

For me maybe it depends, the longest time i've been waiting for a transaction was about 5-6 hours. I have even read here someone have said its been 1 week since he transfer his funds, but it was too long and still he's been waitng for it, fortunately it arrived for a span of seven days, but actually it is really worrying when it hasn't arrive yet for 24 hours. You should immediately contact the support if that happens.
355  Economy / Economics / Re: What would be the possible impact of BTC in the economy of a country? on: October 25, 2017, 12:35:11 PM
I agree that due to Bitcoin unemployment would go down, people would start earning money many people think that the economic condition of the citizens would get better correct agree, but when people will only use Bitcoin and not their national currency wouldn't that affect the economy of the nation, the government would not collect the same amount of taxes as before in short the economy of the country could go down. That is what I think..

The fact that people don't have jobs has not much to do with BTC being in the economy or not. Just think about it for a moment. What are the reasons people can't find jobs? Usually the main reason is that economy is shit. If there are no companies willing to hire welders, if you add BTC to the mix new companies in need of those welders won't suddenly start to pop up. For them to appear there have to be contracts from governments/companies that are willing to buy their products and there have to be investors willing to put their money into the projects.

I have to disagree with you on this. New innovation bring new job opportunities. People develop new applications linked to global Bitcoin payment options and these new jobs generate income for unemployed workers. People can now do micro tasks for micro payments. < The signature campaigns on this forum is a good example, where people get paid a few dollars for posting on this forum >

Before Bitcoin people used expensive remittance companies to transfer money from one country to the next, charging high fees for this service. Bitcoin has made micro transactions possible for very low fees under the right circumstances. < When the network are not being spammed >

Even faucets can contribute as a income generation for people in third world countries. < I have read about people who bought food with the faucet income a few years ago >

Yeah as much as i agree with it, eventually it is just that you guys were saying that bitcoin is not a job particularly, and as much as I am concerned around here, so many opportunities, businesses and many other offers popped out linked in bitcoin and such things that are being called "job opportunities" thingy. Well its not to ruined the statement but that is how it actually works. Like it or not bitcoin is part of what you consider shitty economy.
356  Economy / Economics / Re: Reliable comparison between mining vs. buying and holding on: October 25, 2017, 05:48:33 AM

As far as i am concerned, if you have that resources that you can go ajd make a mining rigs then its up to the person and if at the same time he is also trading or something else like that, would it be bad also? It is not about comparing which is better just for the sake of other peoples opinion, when they can even do both as long as they can keep up and earn from their resources.
357  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrencies and its political nature. on: October 24, 2017, 03:56:57 AM

Exactly right! There is no question why so many people, like investors or regular users shifted their interests here in bitcoin, aside from being digital, person's anonimity, but the main point is that the person's assets are being anonymous to, its up to the person if he's going to exploit or expose his assets to anybody, that is one the qualities we have here, although it was slightly being political but that is just how people want to save their money.
358  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: can you reverse or cancel a bitcoin transaction? on: October 18, 2017, 02:14:57 PM
--snip--

But is there someone who has been able (recently) to cancel a broadcasted transaction?

or is it definetely that there is NO WAY to cancel a transaction?

Thus it makes sense to discuss it again.

I have a habit of cheaping out on fees when i move funds between my own wallets. Nowadays, i always opt-in RBF, which makes it very easy to create a double spending transaction with a higher fee and broadcast it, but about a year ago, i did have to create new transactions doublespending the unspent outputs used and input of my own transactions several times. It was during the spam attack and the astronomical fees, and before opt-in RBF was adopted in my wallet, so many of my low-fee between-my-own-wallet transactions got "stuck". doublespending was the fasted way of fixing these problems.

It can be done, but like i said: if you wait for 1+ confirmations, the transaction can no longer be "cancelled" this way.

I actually like your idea about double spending, now back to the topic, i guess there is no way it is reversable, that is why you need to check it multiple times before making a transaction. There are also notifications that tells each user that it cannot be reversed, so you have to be aware, once it is confirmed, there is no turning back, and no regrets when it is done.
359  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Bitcoin a Bubble? on: October 18, 2017, 06:25:32 AM
Hey

Well bubble here means something that is fragile and is initially big and suddenly it shaters all hopes by just disappearing into nothing...

I think It definitely is !!! Because right now people are investing and thinking nof encashing them out suddenly qhen the proce hits its Maximum value and they get their free bitcoin gold.
Events like this have also happened in the past this it won't be anything new if it continued to rise and decides to fall down suddenly, but if people held on to their btcs then after the hard fork it will be so much easier for everyone to be able to gain profit by timely investment but I don't think many people are going to hold bitcoins after that.
In bitcoin it is not called a bubble because it is called a volatility and that is what you need to do some research before comparing bitcoin like a bubble because the volatility of bitcoin is up to the people's emotion and that is not a kind or considerable as a bubble because bubble pops out even there is no cause or reason while bitcoin only reacts to the emotion of the people so that is a complete different thing between bitcoin having volatility and bitcoin being a bubble.

Literally that is the definition of what bubble is, and it seems that so many people doesn't understand the application of that term in bitcoin. Why would they say such "bitcoin is a bubble", why would they keep saying that? I've been hearing that term since before i started, always saying bitcoin will disappear immediately after that huge pump, but guess what? it was still at his spot.
360  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: interest in bitcoin is increasing on: October 17, 2017, 04:21:42 PM
BTC interest is increasing because some Government have started recognizing BTC and there have been a growth and demand of international money transfer from one country to  another with BTC
There's a lot of reason why there's more interest now in Bitcoin compared to last year aside from the Government acknowledging the existence of Bitcoin and started regulating exchangers, there are more media attention given this past few days than last year because known personalities  like known traders, athletes like boxers and mma fighters, artists, giving positive and negative comments about Bitcoin. Regardless if its negative or positive publicity, its still publicity.

No matter what kind of news they may be, they are still keeping the bitcoin in the hotspot, people started to recognize and realize its existence.  And because of the people or popular personalities who kept talking about bitcoin, people that are not interested started to be curious and try to figure out themselves what is bitcoin, but nothing still is for sure, this popularity can also have a good and bad side effects.
